I gamble but I never treat gambling as relaxation. For me, watching movies at home, playing video games and eating is more relaxing than gambling.
I also do not consider as playing gambling offline and online a relaxation because I don't like noisy places and I also do not like my time being spent on unimportant things. If I want to relax, I treat myself really good and I spent my day eating foods I like, watching movies and sleeping for straight and long 8 hours. As a student, most of the time I lack of sleep and sometimes I don't really sleep at all due to my busy schedule so when weekends come and if I don't have any projects to do, I go on relaxing. I have never think of gambling as a way of relaxing and escape to negativity because I believe that if I am sad and then I lose money because of playing, I will only be more sad. It depends on the person, you guys can relax by doing sleeping, watching tv, playing mobile games etc. but some people will get relax by doing gambling. yes whenever they are under stress to get the relief they will play gambling. If you have 0.05 BTC and you go broke in 3 straight losses you are doing the martingale wrong  .. You need to at least have a bankroll that covers 10-15 losses in a row to even consider trying it out. I hope you did it op you could have double your money in less than a month and if you timed everything perfectly you could have bought again at less than 6k so if everything went perfectly you could have multiplied your money at something close to 4x which is impressive since we are only talking about 3 months and that includes only buying and selling bitcoin. I think we can really gain on buying and selling . If we did everything in the right time, so then if we buy bitcoin bellow 10,000 USD then we must hold and sell if the price reach more than 10,000 USD, that was really a simple kind of strategy yet profitable enough to sustained or gain a huge profit. "X" amount means how much? because investing a small amount in bitcoins is no use. it should be one decent capital then only it is profitable. From what I know KYC are only strongly implemented on exchanges and newly launch ICOs but I never heard of verification processes being asked in gambling sites. I have been a long time player in many sites especially FortuneJack and they never asked or required me to send valid ids to verify or access my account. But to answer your question KYCs are being asked by exchanges and security tokens because it is one of their requirements given by the government.
Sooner every platform will require KYC because the government will be strictly looking at compliance to whatever business who use bitcoin. However, there are some casinos who suddenly implent KYC especially if you are winning a big amount of money which will just make winners getting frustrated. The govs don't want common people to make money or escape from their poverty, so they are trying to hinder the crypto ecosystem in general.

But what about FIAT deposits?
How do "decentralized FIAT deposits" work , if they exist?
i can think of 2 solutions to this problem:
- Use FIAT to buy GPUs, mine coins with them, then use the mined coins to trade on DEX (decentralized exchange) platforms
- Buy crypto with FIAT directly from other people, that you can meet in forums or online announcements, Localbitcoins.com and similar sites
Well i know it's more "comfortable" to just do a bank transfer to an exchange's account , but this will have a cost for you: the gov will know what you are doing with that money, how many coins you bought , etc., so they may tax you because they think you are making profit.
While if you buy GPUs they cannot assume you are mining. You say you are just playing video games.
So your earnings are anonymous.
They don't even know you bought GPUs if you buy them at local shops with cash.
Being anonymous is worth the struggle even if it takes a bit of "discomfort" , as you are going to avoid a lot of nuasances.

It is not only you, a lot of other investors who have been trading is having the same problem. I think that a different approach is required. Just buy bitcoin and Ethereum and hold for long-term. Forget about short-term trading.
That’s a good advice. If you are bad at day trading and short term trading, its better than you buy some good and reliable coins and hold them for long term to get good returns. I would recommend coins such as NEO, XMR, BTC, ETH, XRP and IOTA for long term holding. Distribute your investment in these 6 coins and mark my word you will be in good profit at the end of 2018.
