841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New ways of organizing gambling websites on: June 14, 2017, 06:26:09 PM
I think there have been lots of scam accusations related to casinos over the last few months. Moreover, as most of people gamble using btc, they get nervous because of trasactions pending longer than before. I think that these are main reasons why gambling is becoming a less interesting topic. Nevertheless, I guess some huge improvements are being made without many people noticing them. Ethereum allows to perform smart contracts and make decentralized apps. This ensures people that no scamming can possibly happen. Moreover, I guess transactions are performed a lot faster on eth platform than with bitcoin.
An example of such a casino that operates on eth platform is vdice. They have more info in ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1523503.0), you could check this out and perhaps that will seem interesing to you.
What is your attitude to altcoin-based casinos? And are there many you know of? Do you think such things could make the world of gambling better?

i think altcoin-based casinos is an alternative deposit and place a bet in the games because for me, i'd better to place a bet with doge or another cheap altcoin. because i think to buy doge or other, we don't need big fund and we can send it directly without take any longer for the transactions. to place a bet, i think if we are gets loss, they amount of course is really big in that altcoin but if we calculate in btc, we are only loss small amount so i think its good to play with altcoin-based casinos. unfortunately, i don't know many of them which have altcoin-based, i think Crypto-Games still accepting altcoin for placing a bets.

i think if altcoin-based casinos still available, then the world of gambling will be better and people have many choice coins to place a bet for playing gambling and personally, i really like it if its still exist.
Altcoin based casino we don't have much in online. very few sites are accepting altcoins. yes altcoin based gambling is easy to play, and the bet confirmation will not take much time. And deposit and withdraw coins is very easy. Yes if we convert altcoin into BTC if we lose any bet that amount is very less for us. We can bet without any fear.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: June 14, 2017, 06:21:40 PM
When I win a single bet I feel very little but when I get a hot streak I suddenly feel excited like I'm top of the world and invincible.

This is one of the reasons I don't gamble often, I quickly find out that I'm actually vulnerable when I then lose all my winnings.
It's a very often thing that happens in the gambling world, and that's where you will know that you manage to win and get away with it, very often when they feel invulnerable, they will suddenly realize that they are not and they are just going to lose everything that you've won. I've experienced that also.
Yeaaa it was a common thing for those people who gamble in regular time.
They will never stop to gamble until they found the climax satisfaction.
Which actually it is rare happened , mostly keep looking for and suffering huge lost in the end.

That's the first steps to getting an addiction in gambling. The feel of winning gives us a taste of getting rich and everybody wants to get rich. The problem is, in gambling that feeling is temporary. There is no way we can beat the house anyway and we just all lose in the end but we all do keep on trying.

Yes first win in gambling is always dangerous, this feeling makes us play more games, and we spend more time in gambling. Yes everybody like extra money that too without doing any hard work that is why people choose this gambling. First the taste is good, but later on the original gambling taste, we will feel.
843  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we ever see bitcoin lower than 1000$? on: June 13, 2017, 06:31:20 PM
I don't think that Bitcoin will be lower than 1000$ now. It is growing a very good rate of growth and a 2000$ fall in price is not possible at all. Millions of people have invested in Bitcoin and i think that it will only grow in future.
You are right millions of people are invested on bitcoin if this goes lower $1k then no one will believe bitcoin in future. It will become dead currency. So I think it will never go lower $1k now. But there is a chance to come lower $2k. This is 70 - 30 chances are there our bad luck it may fall otherwise the price keep on raising.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: June 13, 2017, 06:26:32 PM
Of course, Bitcoin should be kept for the future purpose, it will bring much benefit than today, basically investment should be kept for the long time.
Bitcoin is getting valuable and acceptable across the people and community so the price is going to be more. In this way, Bitcoin investment will bring out handsome amount of profit...

And i agree with you. That investment is longterm. With limited supply bitcoin, of course this will potentially make bitcoin very valuable in the future.

Yes if the supply is limited then automatically the bitcoin demand will increase, and the price also increase. Now bitcoin miners all switching to altcoin mining because it will take more time to mine and the earning also not good. So the bitcoin supply will reduce, and the price will increase. Saving bitcoins will give you more benefits in future.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: June 13, 2017, 06:22:38 PM
Many people are now curious to know what bitcoin is, whereas once bitcoin was just underestimated, now upside down many people stop working instead they prefer to focus on bitcoin

I don't think underestimation works in case of cryptocurrencies. If we compare bitcoin of 2011 and 2017, I don't think both are same. The former one was just a concept but latter one is developed coin having utility and can be freely used on internet today to buy all major services.
So as utility of bitcoin increasing, its value increasing.

In the previous 6 months interest in bitcoin has grown significantly. I think the main reason for this is the legalization of bitcoin in Japan. People realized that bitcoin is not entertainment, but a serious financial instrument. And they began to trust crypto currency more

Yes last year there is no much growth in bitcoin, since last 6 months, it was a big improvement in bitcoin users. And last month when that virus attacked to all over the world and hackers demand their money in the form of bitcoins that time media also made publicity for this bitcoin. It was a big impact on bitcoins. Now people are taking little bit serious about bitcoin.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: June 13, 2017, 06:12:27 PM
i do this question because i´ve read in this website issues with bitcoin, slow mining process, high fees, etc. and i´ve read too good reviews of some altcoins, ethereum (smart contracts), ripple (for transfers between banks), dash and nem. these altcoins called 2.0. could bitcoin become just in future virtual gold reserved to companies and rich people?
Anyone having money could enter bitcoin and no one is stopping anyone from entering bitcoin, one thing is certain that the price could double or triple from the present situation in the future but it might take some time and when it comes to bitcoin anything is possible,i am not confident about the rest of the alt coins.
I agree your point come to the bitcoin anything is possible bitcoin only rule cryptocurrency world, or any other currencies may replace bitcoins both are possible. Present tough competition to Bitcoin is ETH. It's growing too fast daily we see huge price variation and it increasing so fast to compare Bitcoin. Maybe this will give good competition to Bitcoin in future.
847  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: June 13, 2017, 06:29:54 AM
Suppose by mistake if we clear the browser cookies after sending coins, is there any way to recover back our coins or it's gone permanently?

I never use any mixing services like this so just want to clarify before sending coins.
848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin? on: June 12, 2017, 05:19:33 PM
I think 2017 is the best year for bitcoin and altcoin. Should we say that prices cryptocurrency climb, bitcoin hit $2900, byteball hit $700, eth $400 and almost, I will save and choose both but I will separe 35% for bitcoin and left for altcoin.
yes no doubt about that, 2017 from the very beginning the rice of bitcoin is increasing, in 2017 the price of bitcoin got more than 100% increase in still 6 months and we can expect that in next 6 months it will get 200% more increase, people are still very confident about the price of bitcoin and therefore they are still purchasing bitcoin.
In 2017 not more than 100% mate it increased 200%. 2016 Dec the price was near to $1000. And after that slowly it was settled at $1200. from here very fast the price was raised to $2500. Now it's fluctuating nearby $3000. Today morning just 2$ required to hit $3k, but suddenly it falls to $2800. So in next six months minimum $1000, it will increase it is sure.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will countries launching their own cryptocurrencies affect bitcoin? on: June 12, 2017, 05:14:45 PM
No it would not affect bitcoins. Those countries have planned to release cyrpto currencies for their own people and not for global usage. No other country's people would show interest in buying another country's coin. But bitcoin is accepted globally and it has investors all over the world.Bitcoin has gained trust all over the world. So bitcoin would not get affected by any of those currencies.
See if any coin come to market and started to build good reputation then automatically the other currency value will come down. See now more people are showing interest in ETH coin. So it will effect on bitcoin users. Newcomers are getting confused which coin they want to use. Maybe the OP is right the other cryptocurrencies are affecting bitcoins.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: June 12, 2017, 05:07:56 PM
Pakistan is really a unpredictable team. they can do any hard work but sometimes they can't do a simple job, really  rediculous. In this pitch, 250 runs is a very easy chase able but they haven't found any position where they can build a strong ground, hopefully Sri Lanka is going to be the winner of this match..
Yes Pakistan team is unpredictable, the target is very less but they only made this match very complicated to losing back to back wickets. I don't know how the captain will take his team to semifinals. He is alone playing, and Mohammad Amir is giving good support. Suppose SL pick one more wicket then it will be very tough for Pakistan. Now they need 53 runs in 84 balls 3 wickets in hand.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: June 12, 2017, 04:54:18 PM
Give your vote to any kind of gambling, is that the betting on soccer games, playing poker, roulette, online gaming, live gaming....??
I just learnt how to play roulette and am enjoying it.

Then when the weekend comes I switch to bet on some soccer games and others sports games I have some knowledge on.

Roulette also has been a casino favorite for me along with baccarat. It's one of those games that you really don't have to be that competitive but it gives you the thrill and excitement of anticipation. Though with these games, I'd rather play in a real casino as the ambiance gives a different feel to the game compared to when you play in a computer

Roulette game is a good time pass especially in real casinos with many people if we play means that feeling is very different. You will not get that fun in the online Roulette game. But it is interesting for sometime nice time pass. I play this game on my Ipad whenever I get bored. Other than this I like sports betting very occasionally I do sports betting.
852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing casino games online a good idea? on: June 12, 2017, 04:49:54 PM
You can't really say it's good for you but definitely excessively playing in casinos, whether online or offline is bad. I don't know if you've heard about the crazy guy that went nuts and burned a casino in the Philippines that killed a lot of people but that is not an uncommon thing with gambling addicts. The severity may not be like that but uncontrolled gambling addiction can and will bring out the worst in people.
Yes playing gambling is completely wrong it may be in online or offline. I too heard this story it is common if we lost huge money in a single day, of course, everyone would get disturbed. In his matter, I don't know how much money he lost but the end of the day because of him it was a huge loss for others. to avoid this kind of incidents better stay away from gambling.

Really disappointed with the performance of South Africa and i made a huge mess with the bets and this single upset made a huge loss in a big parlay i was in,never expected this to happen and i never thought rain would affect all the matches before the tournament began and it made a big dent in my bank roll as i lost over $500 with this single upset. Sad

That's why I always say that all games in gambling including these skill based game need some luck to support our analysis and win our bets. I do agree that here we got a better chance to make money but same time we never should bet more money in any single match even though you're very sure about the winner. Better luck for next bet.

Yes, SA didn't play the game up to their potential and it was a very bad performance from a good team.

Today got an another good match between India and Sri Lanka. It looks like all these matches are going affect by rain and duckworth lewis will give many surprises so carefully make a decision to bet on any matches.

Some people keep trying to steal from others. It is our responsibility to keep our account secure. Thieves will use different ways to launch their actions. Getting used to optimize security settings of our own account is one of the best ways to avoid theft.

Yes, these days online has become very unsafe so it is our responsibility to keep safer all online activities. Most of the good sites have provided 2fa features to secure our account and we must use it whether you got money on that account or not. If you enable your 2fa function then no one can go into your account.
858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alticoins competiting with ethereum would be worth putting eyes now. on: June 08, 2017, 01:42:38 AM
Boscoin - Supported by a Korean Team.

EOS - I don't know much about it.

Waves - The star of the future, just watch it!

Aternity - No idea.

By the way, why do you consider these as altcoins? Are not these all ICOs?

I also think Waves will have a good growth in next one to two years time. Also, the development team is quite active and progressing quite fast compared to other coins. The current prices are still very reasonable to accumulate for the longer term profit. They also do some airdrop every month like a dividend you get for holding these waves. I think we all should have few of these waves before it takes off to higher prices.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Back to 2000$ on: June 08, 2017, 01:31:19 AM
I'm surprised there isn't more panicking this time around than there was last time. I guess people are getting used to the so-called dramatic drops in price. Traders are currently taking profits and it's likely we'll see sideways and up again jlike last time, don't you worry. We might even break over 3000 this time around.

Now many investors know that the value of the bitcoin in the longer run because compared to last time now many businesses are accepting bitcoins as payment methods. So investors are more confident now and hence they will not worry much about these corrections instead they will wait for the price which they want to sell off.  I'm also holding on few coins for the longer term and not selling now.

I think you're looking for best alt-coins to invest right?

If that is correct then here are some of my favourite coins for now like Waves, NEM, Ripple, ETH, IOTA and Dogecoins. Since last two months, waves went up to $6+ from $1. Now it is are round 5+. If you're a long-term investor then can consider exploring these coins to invest.
