201  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Sale] Ballet Crypto Bitcoin Halving Special Edition Wallets | W/ Free 0.01 BTC on: May 03, 2020, 03:09:03 PM
Post 1
Post 2 (multipost)
Post 3 (multipost)
How many people are in control of the BalletCrypto account? Post one is signed off as Tendai while the next two posts break the multiposting rules but are not signed. I highly suggest you community managers at Ballet Crypto read the rules of the forum. Merit abuse and multi posting aren't the best things to be doing here.

Aswell BTCC Mint is defunct and the account should have been retired as the Mint was, not used to prop up Ballet Crypto. Operating in grey areas and acting with shady behavior it is easy to see that the same people that worked at BTCC Mint now work at Ballet Crypto. Much like the free shipping coupons you guys sent out for the trash shipping materials you sent the BTCC Titanium Tenth rolls in that were valid for one year but you shut the company down a month later before people could use them.. I'm just waiting for Ballet Crypto's next gaffe and I'm sure it comes sooner than later.

I am a user of your products and have gifted many to get people started in bitcoin. I just find your business practices very questionable.

204  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] History Coldkey - A testimony to Bitcoin - April 2020 (only 8 remaining) on: April 23, 2020, 03:40:54 PM
dont want to speak for everyone but me personally think you should wait until all 3 months of last subscribtion are fundd and ship all 3 then give some sort of discount for julys subscribtion to make up for shipping.
I dont mind one bit waiting and have faith you are trustworthy

A global pandemic caused shipping issues, not Yogg. What's to "make up for"? It's not his fault, IMO. Cheesy
You are a jackass to ask for a discount when this is not the fault of the maker and they are doing everything they can to keep your bits safe in the midst of this pandemic.  Congratulations on making either your greed or stupidity shine here. (Face Palm)

If I add one Coldkey to my cart the shipping is a flat rate 10 Euro. If I add another Coldkey to my cart, the shipping stays at the flat rate of 10 Euros. I'd like to believe the guy is saying that if shipping doesn't magically fix itself by June (it probably won't) that being able to bundle your purchases into one package (remember flat rate 10 Euro) would be better off than paying 30 Euro worth of shipping to all be shipped in one package when post offices return back to normal.
I'm sure yogg already has a plan for this but you guys making this dude seem horrible for not wanting to pay 30 Euro to ship his cards when it could only cost him 10 is ridiculous.

Able to prove you ordered April/May/June History Coldkey's? Maybe the June one is 20 Euro off to offset the additional shipping charges you paid. Stop jumping to conclusions that this guy is a cheap fuck looking for a handout. No one should benefit from this pandemic but no one should overpay either.

The Easter Egg hadn't even been in play for 3 hours before geophphreigh found it. Wow.

Oh...

208  Other / Meta / Re: Domain name update on: April 18, 2020, 02:16:37 PM
Right now Cøbra is sitting back laughing because with this split he has absolutely zero obligations to the very people that think they're bitcoin bigshots in this thread. Sorry theymos.. 100% your baby now that you've nurtured and let fester.
209  Other / Meta / Re: Domain name update on: April 18, 2020, 02:08:01 PM
I handed bitcointalk.org over to theymos because; I trust him and his judgement, and I was not really active on the forum anyway. You can question my trust all you like, but I have been in a position for a long time to screw over you guys if I wanted too, but I didn't. Some users will instinctively understand that and ignore the nonsense you're spouting off, others will get sucked in, but either way I don't really care and I'm going to continue to do my best to help Bitcoin succeed.
How about you take yourself away from the position rather than boasting how you could but didn't do evil? Quite the accomplishment, only if you are actually evil. Thankfully your reputation is damaged beyond repair (it is nowhere near where it was a couple years back), and can only get worse given your failure to comply to the greater good.

teeGUMES you are an idiot, but go figure. Maybe merit some Hearnia and Andersonia too while you are at it.
Cute ninja edit Lauda (emphasis mine to show Lauda's edit, quoted by Cøbra but then Foxpup merited it after Lauda's personal attack). Goes to show how your opinion sways when Foxpup, DdmrDdmr and others merit the post aswell. Scaredy cat.

What the coward changed it to once their friends started to merit.

Not a post worth meriting.

Cøbra sums you up perfectly here Lauda so no need for me to repeat anything. This is truly believed by well over half of the forum.
Take a look at the words you're using; "comply", "evil", "greater good", and insulting random users because they gave merit to one of my posts, how insecure, immature and ignorant are you? What are you so scared of? It's you that's the villain; screaming at me to comply, making demands, and aggressively smearing projects that have done more good for Bitcoin than you ever will. Shame on you.

It's people like you that make this forum so unwelcoming. By the way, thanks for your negative trust feedback, funny that you only mustered up the courage to do that after I was no longer owner of bitcointalk.org, perhaps you understood negative trusting the owner of the domain of the very site you're using would be comical.
210  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectible Cards of Bitcointalk Users. on: April 17, 2020, 01:07:05 PM
Sorry for delays, please remember that I cannot pay back to all quickly because I do it form my what I earn daily.
I would like to kind ask those who got refunds to drop a message here
thank you and my apologizes again
This morning I did receive the approx $30USD worth of BTC that I requested Basorexia pay back.

I still would like to see a current picture of the holofoil paper he had, the printer, the supplies.. maybe a card or two printed/being cut to size in order to believe this isn't the thief friend trying to get enough rep bought back to hit us harder a second time.

First steps taken but there are some hurdles you need to still get over here Bas.
211  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk's Hall of fame on: April 15, 2020, 04:20:17 AM
Memorial thread as a title for the column doesn't fit unless they've all passed away, which won't be the case as this grows. I'd suggest "Legacy" or something to that tune.. people don't want to just read the memorial thread and feel sad right away.. link them to the highlights, the passion, the actual reason WHY these people are in the hall of fame.

I see you've started this with your appendice for Bruno but I'd shift your focus to getting the reader to view their legacy rather than focus on our goodbyes to them.
212  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2013 Casascius Bitcoin 1BTC Loaded for 1.25BTC on: April 14, 2020, 09:11:16 PM
Oh, I'm sorry...I won't try to take advantage of a situation when I see it... because no one has ever won bullion under spot value on here before  Huh Essentially the same thing. A 2012 Cas just sold for 1.075 so I guess my 1.1 BTC bid isn't good enough and should also be taken as a joke.
Now you're talking about a $515 premium versus your $6 joke premium. Learn where to choose your battles.. this one isn't a win. You were hoping for drama and you didn't get any backup, rightfully so. OP would be wise to take you up on the 1.1BTC and I'll leave it at that. With the recent Basorexia scam make sure to use escrow seller/buyer whoever they may be.

The price is 1.25BTC + cost for if you opt for escrow.

This is the exact same coin shown that shows it was won for 1.1BTC here:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230463.msg54030185#msg54030185

Now it's for sale in this thread for 1.25BTC.

I'm guessing it was not claimed and your statement was inaccurate in the previous thread.  The bid didn't go any higher because it's a 2013 and on top of that, the hologram seems a bit scratched.  It had nothing to do with people being distracted.

Good luck with your sale.

Wouldn't it go to the 2nd highest bidder if the 1st one didn't pay?  Roll Eyes
In the previous thread your bid of 0.001BTC would have been written off as a joke bid. Increments should be added to the face value of the coin to be considered (1.001BTC should have been your reply). The host of that auction was new and failed to establish the regular rules but this is why nobody will go to bat for you saying it should have been offered to you before attempting to resell it again. $6USD bid not considered, stop trying to raise the pitchforks.

Why would the OP's lack of experience with auctions write my bid off as a joke? Given the age of his account and lack of quality in the OP, my bid was 100% a reasonable bid imo. To that extent, I'll offer him the original winning bid of 1.1 w/ him paying MJ escrow fee.
Nice dude, $6USD premium on a Cas. You'll do good here.

Confusion and shitshow. Should have stuck with "it was a joke"

Don't forget the last card in the set.

216  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectible Cards of Bitcointalk Users. on: April 10, 2020, 05:00:06 PM
Bas.....remake the cards/toys free of charge. Now ship them all to everyone with tracking information. Upload receipts and share with minerjones. I’ll cover all the costs of shipping which minerjones will pay you after everyone confirms receipt.

Good idea, rxalts. Maybe send them all in a single package to MJ. He can send them out to the various recipients. I'll reimburse him too.

Regards,
Chris
Whoever is in control of the account seems to not be able to show proof of their supplies which leads me to believe if their story is true that the current owner of the account (password and email recently changed) is the dishonest "friend".
217  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectible Cards of Bitcointalk Users. on: April 10, 2020, 04:51:33 PM
Is your printer broken? Did your "friend" crumple up all the holographic paper you bought? Its up to you to make good the people that paid you for items.. this is your reputation and it is dropping with every excuse you post. What you do now is print cards for everybody that paid for them, you ship them as 1 unit to most likely minerjones and you let the grownups figure out shipping after that. You will not be trusted with payment or addresses ever again. Salvage what you have left (not much). There is currently no way to prove that you are not the "friend" pleading for forgiveness to turn it around for a second scam.

I do not have any hope to restore my reputation.
I am here just to pay for my mistakes.
I am designer and I got used to trust people.
Sorry to all and peace out
No seriously, where are these supplies?

218  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectible Cards of Bitcointalk Users. on: April 10, 2020, 04:42:01 PM
Hi everyone
First of all let me apologize for what had happened
My name is Taras and I will explain you briefly what happened.
I have been working with my "friend" (an enemy in fact). I was doing cards and he was responsible for all business-related questions, payments, cashouts, delivery etc..we both have access to telegram and bitcointalk account.
About a week ago account password was reset. My "friend" dissapeared taking coins.
I feel very very bad of this ugly story and I do not ask you to justify me. It is my fault that I chose a bad partner, that I did not make a good enough due-dill.
I am not rich and I did not get much of those coins transfered, however please feel free to send me btc amounts you lost in this situation. I will pay it little by little as I have funds coming from other sources. If you can make smth useful for you as a designer let me know as well (instead of a refund).

Sorry again, sorry again for this dirty spittle at bitcoin community. It was a honor to be a part of this community and I was sure I was doing smth useful for the members.

Sorry

219  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Unique collectible things for Bitcointalk users. on: April 10, 2020, 03:56:41 PM
Negative trust left for this user!  Scam alert!

Basorexia made digital cards for users on this forum and took donations for them.  Then they proceeded to "make" physical versions of these cards and started taking payments from users to get the physical versions of these cards.  Users paid a large sum of bits for a "card" plus the shipping.  Then this user started making custom toys for users taking larger payments and higher shipping costs.  No tracking was placed on any of the shipments and Basorexia stated that it was not available.  After some research, it seems that tracking is available for a couple bucks.  All the funds from this seem to have gone to a mixer. BTC address: 17tMWWwVp6DSXMfaVMeei2y1UpwtzDMtdA    Basorexia's telegram has also been deactivated.

I am considering my first payment, for the digital version of my card, as payment for the rights to it.  As for the second, larger payment, I'm considering that to be theft.

p.s.  I did not look into the ETH address they gave as I think ETH is trash but here it is:  0x4e588c7334d564398c61456CAb6b732173cc2a2a
