Whonesta, I read in the S2 thread that you just took possession of some S2 machines too. You've got quite a collection going there
adding a SP30 this year too ? ~L)L~ I will have my eyes open come Q3/Q4 (   ) I plan to move the S1 racks (6xS1) back to the house from DC to heat, so that should open up 4KWs or so. The SP10 is looking great so far so I can not wait until their Gen2 stuff comes out. |

Received my Batch 4 S2's is perfect order, new case design fix the shaking loose issue and directing PSU's fan out of the case helps. Shipping was beyond fast, Bitmain even predicted that I meant to buy 2 X S2 and shipped me the 2nd one to fix my mistake  I am ready for the 20% jump... I hope |

Packaging kept miners totally safe and is NOT foam, good idea and design.
booted, configured, load balanced, FW upgraded both are running smooth in test lab, DC is adding another circuit this week so no production stats, but my lab is in standard US home and runs on 120V. SP10 results are:
Temp Front/Back - #1 (36C/74C), #2 (36C/70C)
Mining Rate/Watts - #1(1346.625/1170), #2(1349.55/1178)
I have run on Eligius & GHash, speed was confirmed on both pools and there is NOT the extreme Duplicates that I see with the S2. In fact the SP10's have been running for a few hours and have yet to submit a reject while operating in hot environment on 120V.. VERY Impressed!!
I am so excited to see these run in the DC..

I donīt want to seam smug or anything but, how would they know if a machine was counterfeit?
Also, how can a machine be counterfeit, if it is shipped by the original producer?
Are you sure about the counterfeit thing?
My guess is that they donīt really get what it is, and if you tell them long enough that it is server equipment (which it technically is, it is a bitcoin mining server) they would let it through.
I have told them 3-4 times it is a rack server, today I am going to tell them it is a vibrator and invite them to try it out, go on shove it up there you greasy little pig.. UPS called asking about a couple S2's, which are shipped to a "whonesta", "Sir what is a whonesta", reply a chat board nickname this item is consumer electronics and I bought it as a private CITIZEN (das gud mine piggy). Customs responds "clears that up, your good to go, thanks".. Next day 2200 GH/s burning trons for my mine. |

I want to make sure to state:
ST shipped my order fast, next day. My complaint is with the shipper. ST followed through Quickly to support the "additional information" request by DHL. I can imagine I would be much happier if DHL had not destroyed my shipment and then claim US customs inspection. I will update after I have a talk with the "Port Master" in the morning. Archaic titles to match their antiquated and myopic processes all while holding bankers hours... too much

If I order today what vendor will ship? It still says DHL on the site and am scared stuff will get stuck in customs.
For US customers, we're currently shipping with Fedex. We'll start shipping with UPS as well to test who give the better service. +100 Hope to see mine before June, customs "inspection" by unqualified "inspectors", OH right this is the USA.. Maybe Bitfury paid off DHL to cause import problems.. SOBs |

My SP10 was delivered to New Zealand by DHL and I am very happy with that delivery. Happy to have my August SP30s delivered to NZ by DHL.

No problems here with 2 different shipments. Don't worry, be happy. Also for me no problems with different shipments, but i just feel lucky after have seen these pics I have had good luck as well, but now I have one that will not mine. I have flashed new SD card, GUI comes up. Hardware version is x.x.x.x and there is no cgminer version? looking through board to see if this happened before. |

It appears US Customs is holding 2-SP10's for 5 days to inspect to insure it is not counterfeit. OMFG these idiots would not know their a$$ from a hole in the ground and THEY are going to know IF a circuit is counterfeit. This is a nightmare, mean while antMiners are flying into the country at record rates, correct me if I am wrong but aren't they clones? UGH Next I guess they will STOP music piracy.. |

Yes that is the case, "US Customs requires further inspection".. they do not know what it is. UGH I also recall having problems with customs, then again customs only thought i forgot to add my VAT number as they didnīt think a private person would buy such pricy "server equipment" After that they first said, "we have to look into the box" but after 2 days somehow came to the conclusion that they didnīt want to look into the box anymore... Now I am crying.. just a little bit. I am hopeful for a June delivery at this point. I even volunteered to teach the dolites @ US Customs what a computer looks like, I guess if it does not come from the apple store it can not be consumer electronics.

Due to the recent issues with DHL shipping to the US we are looking into other couriers.
We will continue to update and should have a new solution within the next few days.

We are no longer shipping to the USA with DHL. There are two other options we are testing, may the best courier win. GREAT!! Only wish I had that choice last week, GOD only knows when DHL will get me these sp-10's.. I can only say BtiMainTech saved my A$$ by shipping without fail 2 x S1 & 2 x S2. DHL is working HARD to F this shipment up. |

No joy on receiving either SP-10, DHL dropped the ball and never called back with update. I did however receive 2 x S1, but UPS screw'd the pooch on the 2 x S2, so once again all is right with the world. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

DHL confirmed only 1 unit made the flight from Leipzig, if US customs can follow through with their completely unregulated waste of my tax dollar and nepotistic orgy, I will drive over and pick it up.
I would love to see an option to ship with UPS or FedEx. Cincinnati boring little town with terrible sports, but we are a shipping mecca.

Maybe it is that you are lucky you are in USA. In Europe things are different. Customs is a pain in the ass, as they need the invoice to be clear everywhere. BITMAIN and the rest Chinese make it handwritten from times to times. Don't let me post pics with silly half Chinese-English writing. I have been in trouble many times, and had zero support from the manufacturers. I had to type-write it and word-print it myself.  It is true, this "friendly" relationship with China/USA has completely changed the shipping scene. I was floored how fast items are clearing from China, but I guess they own a large share of our A$$es.. so. I was clued in to the DHL' tardedness when CS claimed the invoice was illegible and even more worried just HOW it got that way.. My guess tire  Might get to see what an SP-10 looks like with road rash. |

SP is excellent at the paperwork.
Chinese are awful at this issue.
I have heard that yet antMiners roll in here by the dozens in 3 days without any questions. I do not think it has anything to do with ST, this is classic DHL r-tardness and why they are #5 in US shipping. ST is working on it, I have NO fears. I would like to see another shipping option for future business with ST, buying great equipment and receiving great equipment are two different issues. |

And the WINNER.. BitmainTech.. 2x S2 & 2 x S1 ordered same day as SP-GB will arrive DAYS ahead of SP10. I do want to say this is due to the transporter. DHL is a grouping of moronic idiots who seem to make things harder then required, UPS on the other hand is the fastest importer of hardware on Earth. Sorry ST my only regret is not having a choice to avoid DUH, I mean DHL MAYBE my SP10's will be powered by weeks end  Where do you live? For me in Europe it only took 2 days for DHL to reach me and another day for the delivery. I live in Cincinnati, which IS DUH's.. I mean DHL's US hub, UPS has a hub 2 hours south in Louisville. HANDS down DHL is worst shipper to US, I think they forget we own aircraft carriers so 99.8% of nations have trade agreements with us, so all the tax id crap they "require" is very euro. I have imported @ least 20 antMiners without a single question from UPS, EVERY TIME I get a DHL shipment some sort of r-tardedness seems to arise. No worries I thank you (roadstress) & SpondooliesTech, TOP NOTCH deal, save the "German" shipper, quotes are used as they are the MOST disorganized German's I have ever met. BTW they are still "searching" for one of my SP10's seems they lost it in Leipzig, ugh... Edit: Well it seems this whole screw up is due to a unreadable invoice.. ugh so now 3 day delay because someone does not use a computer generated invoice? Massive FAIL!! You should file a report at DHL. Oh I have, unfortunately because the invoice ST sent with shipment is not readable DHL has to wait until ST wakes up to get another invoice. Funny thing though is when ST is awake DUH.. DHL is CLOSED!! ROFLMAO, is it 2014 or is it just me, international importer that closes... OMFG DHL just go out of business already. |
