They say hodl is the way to go. I am sceptic about this. Sometimes it is just better for your nerves to decrease exposure. On the other hand, if I hodled all the coins I ever bought I would be stinking rich.

Short term speaking, cashing out profits isn't all that bad. It will allow you to buy back and increase the number of coins that you have -- who doesn't want that? In my experience most of the time I panie c myself and end with loose. after 3years of trading experience now I just relax for a while and deside what to do then make decision what next move to be.

As my strategy for selling bitcoins, it would be practical and less risky if the price is high, I sell half of my hold bitcoin and invest 1:4 of it or trade and hold the remaining bitcoin. And continue to do that strategy when I have profit. Sounds literally not profitable but you should know that it's a self regulating transactions, so it's better stake of doing what makes you comfortable with.
That strategy sounds good, but, with a straight forward logic, we can also say that holding bitcoins provides you benefit forever. Imagine people thought it's a ceiling price when btc was $2,000. Then look at the current price, almost more than doubled it. I, too, once did not believe that the price of bitcoin could increase so much. But luckily I was wrong and now I have a good profit. I sold my coins at a time when the price was 4,100 dollars. Now I will again buy bitcoin when the price goes down that is why we say that bitcoin price is unpredictable. no one know that what will happen to the price of bitcoin. although it is possible that the price of bitcoin will cross 5000$ in few day, but it is also possible that its price will drop even below 2500$. but still we can expect that the price of bitcoin will increase and not going to decrease. |

New ICO has been created everyday but none of the altcoin cannot be compete with the bitcoin. Some of the altcoin value has been touched to 100$ in the marketplace value. Adoption takes part and has role in price changes but that should move positive to get the profit. As they touched to $100 region, bitcoin also doesn't stop and it goes to the infitiniti. Bitcoin price is increasing dramatically every day. The trend since the start of this year is really positive. No I don't think that bitcoin can ever replace dollar in future as even if the price of bitcoins will go in millions it will be always compared to the price of dollars and even if people will sell they will prefer to get dollars in their hands so that they can spend it whenever they want.

To be honest, I find the majority of the amounts mentioned very low... Expected more early adopters here. It shows how unevenly devided this world really is (in terms of living costs). 1 btc makes no difference here, heck even 10 btc won't make me able to retire by a long run. It would take in the region of a 1000 btc  Everyone has our own target and the bigger the better but right now we are still in the accumulation stage as we all know price will even rise more as bitcoin continues to exist. We don't actually save and focus on the number but we are looking for the total value before we cash out, even if we save like 10 BTC and the price will turn to $1,000,000 each, I think it would be alright. but i do not have such an target but i want to continue earning bitcoin bitcoin and to support my family, in fact i am really making a good amont of money from bitcoin and i just want to cintinue earnin such amount from trading which has really changed my life too much. |
