201  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Preev.com Alternatives? on: August 30, 2022, 07:57:58 AM
Preev is down! where do you check Bitcoin prices?
CoinMarket cap added a Bitcoin price canvertor and since then I stopped using preev and use Coinmarketcap for this purpose only because there I can check prices of every coin.

all you need to do is to open the page of a specific coin and scoll down little bit. you'll see the price canvertor there. the only cons in this that it just shows prices in USD

202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your ideas about bitcoin adoption in the future? on: August 30, 2022, 07:52:15 AM
Bitcoin usage will continue to increase as we start to put more pressure on the current financial system. We are definitely headed towards a future that is very different than the one we live in today. Bitcoin adoption will not end in 2022, but its adoption will gain momentum in the years to come. The Bitcoin blockchain, and the technology of the crypto-economy, will continue to mature and evolve, and this will impact the way we interact with the "digital" economy in the future. As a result, the increased Bitcoin adoption in a traditional environment will help to pave the way for future adoption in new and innovative ways.

I see the full/mass adoption of Bitcoin eminent. If we had the opportunity to return to this world many years later, we might not recognise where we left it; it would be surprising and amazing to witness that minor stuffs such as writing pen would be paid for with Bitcoin.
being able to purchase miner things such as pen and pencils is not so far in future. i can see it is going to happen sooner than we thing. and there are some places this is already happening. yesterday I saw a post about a Street Tea seller accepting bitcoin as a payment for his tea. and there are many other shops who do the same. i also have seen so many bitcoin ATM mechines in many places. so it is safe to assume that bitcoin's mass adoption era is almost arrived.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [EROS] ErosBook ICO - Invest in the Future of Escorts Bookings on: August 29, 2022, 02:19:34 PM
🔈 Here it is! The #ErosBook ICO Seed Sale just started. Be the first to buy #EROS with a 80% discount!
it is very rare to see a project doing ICO directly in their website. ICO era gone long. it is now IDO, IEO Era. if you want to do a successful tokensale. you would have to run your tokensale in an IDO launchpad or do an IEO via a reputable exchange.
plus I see your website is very common and features also limited. also you should Put NSFW to against your website link.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency acceptance Everywhere on: August 29, 2022, 08:59:39 AM
Is the area a tourist? Because the value in US dollars is rarely put in the popular markets, which is shown in the background of the image.
The price of coffee is less than a dollar so it would be great if there was a lightning network payment option but it is good to see more daily use rather than speculating in these currencies.
If you use social media, this person will get more visitors.

you can see the price is stated in $ and in Indian rupeez both. $0.3 is stated equal to 20 indian rupeez. and yes banglore is a pretty famous tourist destination in India.  plus it is a technology hub of india. millions of people are there doing jobs and streets are full with people every time. this Team seller is very smart to accept Crypto as a payment for his tea. and it'll surely attract a lot of people.
hopefully more wonders and business also adopt bitcoin and crypto like this young man all over the world.

205  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why full time to crypto why not to Skills on: August 29, 2022, 08:29:34 AM
Dear community I have researched almost % of people's stepping towards crypto without any proper training and attention and losing their money for greedy mind...
Why peoples are not attention to Skills (e-commerce, freelancing)
Wanna suggest a little bit of your time to spend in learning skills and improve your mind strength+💰🤑
because most of the people coming in crypto with a mindset of getting quick rich in short time. they have a very little understanding and knowledge about crypto. they just think there is so many shortcuts and easy ways to make a lot of money which is very rare. only few people got this opportunity to get rich over night. rest lost their live savings in crypto.
but still this mindset has not been changed yet. all we need to do is to educate people that skills and knowledge are important and there is not shortcut to sucess.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dip, Dipper, Dippest on: August 28, 2022, 10:30:16 AM
A couple of weeks ago I was excited that bitcoin price had gained 23k+. I was positive that it was going to at least stay steady at that point for some and the go up gradually, but boy was I wrong. On Twitter this user - Richard Heart, tweeted "Pray that #Bitcoin doesn't hit $11,000. For if it does, the sound of me patting myself on the back will be heard around the world."(What does this even mean?). Anyways, I decided to open my Binance app(I do not check the price daily. Is this normal?) only to find out that the price has plummeted to 20k. Honestly, I am not perturbed at all because I am a long term hodler. But why can't the price stay steady? Are we moving towards the dippest part of the dip? Just wanna know your thoughts. Thank you.
Richard heart is a moron bro. you should never believe him. he's not a true believer of bitcoin.

We cannot know if we are going to test new lows, but I do believe that the next few months are not going to be good. Maybe we will go up a little bit or down, but in essence we are going to stay at these price levels.

To go below 17,000 USD I don't think it will happen and if it does I think the price will recover soon, because it is a very clear buy zone.
I also feel this bear market will stay here for some time. I have a feeling that it will stay like this for possible another year.. but I don't think it'll break below 17,000. it'll most likely idle between $19k and $23K in these time until next Bull market.

207  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: south africa has launched a SMS service to send bitcoin without internet on: August 28, 2022, 09:51:40 AM
SMS are easily intercepted which makes it insecure, see: https://proton.me/blog/stop-using-sms?

I guess if you understand the risk, you can do amounts you're comfortable losing but significant ones? nahhhh. Let's not forget that someone near me can easily pluck out my sim card with some sort of needle and if they replace it with a new one, it would probably take some time for me to notice.
SMS are insecure but we need to know how this thing works. I don't think there is any issue as long as your private key is safely stored somewhere else. we will be sending just bitcoins. not our pivate keys and seeds via SMS to anyone (should never be done)

I am not getting how will it interact with the Bitcoin Blockchain. Going over my head. Is it something like a custodial wallet? Just transfer p2p without Blockchain? Then I think it's something like MFS (Mobile Financial System) that can't send or receive money through a mobile phone.
Apparently it involves the lightning network. Now I am not yet conversant with the lightning network because I haven't read extensively about it or used it practically but this video might help you understand how they are doing it

I see it works pretty much same like how we send mobile loads to other mobiles. dial a code starting with * and ending with #. and it seems a custodial wallet to me.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: August 28, 2022, 09:43:44 AM
It is not an easy task to know about the future of crypto price but predictor can show some price chart which will support in the evaluation of price. These days market price is not well so and not consider to be good to sell your asset but you can acquire some good coin just like matic and dot which are good option to make investment in these two. They will go more up and you will take better chance of gaining payback.
it is almost impossible to predict prices on basis of some charts. but there are some very good specialist and expert traders who can do short term predictions on bases of charts and analytics and they happens to be true later.. but it is hard to believe anyone in this market.

let's forget June 2022! and focus for June 2023,
hopefully June 2022 is the bottom of Bitcoin and from now on in Q4 it should be bullish, I still believe,
because bitcoin holds above $20k, if $20k breaks then my hopes may be lost,
but let's pray that bitcoin 2023 could be bullish again
Lets hope for the best. but the way inflation and recession rate increasing in the world. we are in middle of a crisis and it is not coming slow. everyday a new problem come and all these are effecting bitcoin and crypto market. it is very possible that bitcoin drop below $20k .
209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes claims that more than half of Bitcoin trade records are fake on: August 27, 2022, 10:03:13 AM
As we all know Bitcoin hold about 40% + of total market capitalization which is the coin with the highest trading volume both monthly and daily trading volume. Which I have no doubt that. I just came across account published today by Forbes titled  " More Than Half Of All Bitcoin Trades Are Fake"
How on earth will they believe that.
The trading volume for btc is increasing day by day on individual exchange, of a truth their are exchanges which manipulate trading volume on their exchange to draw the attention of traders, exchanges like Finexbox
But that does not mean that the total daily trading volume up to 51% for btc is false.
Going through trade history to total volume recorded by different exchanges, both centralized and decentralized exchanges I fine their analysis wrong.
According to them  Companies like Binance, MEXC Global, and Bybit are examples of some of the largest issue areas when it comes to phony volume.
Really don't know where and how they got their source and come in conclusion to this. Btc market is large and it's trading volume is a big representative of how large the coin is.

i heard a lot of fake trading volume. i heard that some big exchanges generate fake trading volumes to attract more traders and investors because obviouly they make money from trading fee etc.
but I think fobes just made a guess for saying that half of the trading volumes are fake. because there is no way they can confirm and validate all the trading going on in all these trading and exchange platforms. unless they have some insiders who provide them all these necessary data which is unlikely possible..
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTOFIGHTS.IO - WIN REAL MONEY IN OUR CASH TOURNAMENTS! on: August 27, 2022, 09:37:53 AM
I just found out about this game today and it really amazed me to know that there is a game exist on BSV blockchain. I didn't know BSV can work for web3 or NFTs. i always thought it is a Fork of Bitcoin and works same like bitcoin. never really studied it properly. and also finding this game today even I've been into gamefi and play2earn for sometime now is really a pleasing surprise.  I'll definately look into it further more.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops vs Bounties on: August 27, 2022, 09:08:40 AM
In my opinion Bounty is the best. Because at present, if you do 100 bounties, you can get 20 bounties. And if you do airdrop, it is very difficult to get the payment because At the present time, almost all of them are scams. So I would say bounty is the best. Then your decision. Let's come to agree .
in bounties you need to be accepted. and in airdrops you need to be qualified for the rewards. both works differently but it is easier to join bounties because competition is low and chances of getting accepted is higher on other hands airdrops reaches to maximum number of participants so quick and it is difficult to qualify there.
but there are some airdrops which pays really well if you are lucky and get a spot on time.
otherwise bounties are good side hustle.
212  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How do I start as a bounty manager? on: August 26, 2022, 07:48:31 AM
I want to become a bounty manager. Are there any guidelines and sources to follow? Are there any particular procedures to follow in each step upon receiving a campaign for myself? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

These are Few things that I would recommend you to do:

1: Learn Spreadsheet skills (you need that to keep track of your signature . see how other managers are doing)
2: Create your portfolio thread (see some example in services board)
3: reach out to projects and offer them your services . give them reasonable rates and discounts so they hire you without having any past experience, you might consider giving 2, 3 services for free to kickstart your career.
4: never cheat your community and campaign participants. and finish your work on time don't delay updates and payouts.

214  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Samsung Investing on Crypto (Bitcoin) in South Korea on: August 26, 2022, 07:30:25 AM
I don't believe anything from those Instagram or Twitter Influencers/Shit posters. Did you hear anything from Samsung itself? From where do they get the news? Do you really believe a tech giant company will launch a Crypto exchange platform? Even if they do, Those will be centralized exchanges which I don't care about. Bitcoin users are supposed to be anonymous. Those exchanges force you to do the KYC, and you are not anonymous anymore.
It is true that I also haven't heard anything from Samsung officially announcing the launch of a cryptocurrenty exchange. and if these influencers are spreading false news. then samsung will soon response to them and clarify that.
now for the exchange being centralized i think it is pretty much common. all the CEX currently available are already centralized and require KYC. or have limits for non kyc users. so this is not something only samsung doing. even crypto companies itself doing centralized exchanges.
we need to think for the positive aspects of this. if samsung launch their crypto exchange. it'll help crypto to reach out to the mass userbase of samsung.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some projects which can grow bigger in the next few years on: August 25, 2022, 08:43:18 AM
It's pretty hard to find the next gem in crypto space and sometimes you could be throwing money away without you knowing, if you are on a hunt for the next crypto gem make sure you are using the exact amount you are ready to lose, there are few projects that are currently building nonstop e.g illuvium.
Good to know that someone else also know about Illuvium in this community. it is one of my faovrite project too among the latest projects. it is very rare to find good potential and high chances of success in new projects specially in this bear market. but illuvium is holding pretty well and also constantly developing it's project.
other than XCad also a very promising project if someone want he can look into it too. NFA but I think it is worth to buy some and hold for long.
216  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [ Blockchain Mart ] Buy Followers, Accounts, Giftcards With 300+ Crypto Currency on: August 15, 2022, 03:11:42 PM
I found out why this user sells all of the above at such cheap prices - the accounts are not personalized as he claimed, he sells the same account to different people. In addition, he refused to return my money and also changed the password for the streaming service he sold me. I do not recommend doing business with this user.
the prices were already suspicious even you said that yourself above. plus he's a newbie without any rep. you shouldn't have trusted him and bought anything from him without any vouches. hopefully you didn't lose a lot of money.

Alternatively https://www.bitrefill.com is a very trustworthy and famous platform for buying gift cards. you can easily buy a netflix gift card there with crypto paying.
217  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Can mining be relied on for financial stability? on: August 15, 2022, 02:41:22 PM
I'm not a miner, but I understand that the profitability of mining depends largely on your location and the availability of electricity around you.

There are also lots of other variables to consider such as; purchasing quality equipments and its maintenance, etc. Buying bitcoins on the other hand does not have extra requirements, besides maybe owning a hardware wallet or a steel backup.
Mining is the producing of new bitcoins. and buying a bitcoin on other hand is easier but it is not same. if you buy a bitcoin you will own only a bitcoin or the amount of bitcoin you bought. but if you buy mining equipments to mine bitcoins. you can produce and accumulate a lot more bitcoins.
but yeah it all depends on the equipment and the available electricity.

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic scam? on: July 26, 2022, 08:01:09 AM
it is not scam . they got attacked and their stable coin lost it's peg that caused all that disaster. they tried to revive the terra project by creating terra 2.0. but that attempts seems didn't work out how they expected or wanted.

at first terra classic was a huge success in fact if you take a look this image below that terra is hugely invested by a big company such a binance too.

the biggest problem what happened in terra is their stablecoin that pegg to 1$ in luna.

and the answer of "will they go up?" I don't know but if they go up the price will plummet again if UST got claimed back
they already announced they'll shut down their Stablecoin called UST. so I don't think they'll work on UST anymore.
