First/second week of october
Is it also for the NF Boards, or only for S-Hash. If not for the NF Boards, could you give an estimate if i order right now ?

We're running two separate business models and therefore there isn't necessarily a "better" place. There are also several factors which may affect your preference - see below. Marto74 is taking a bigger risk by ordering a full reel of bitfury chips, and also estimating the demand and thus final price. On the other hand, because of those factors he'll be shipping a few weeks earlier than us. We on the other hand are trying to get the lowest price by first knowing the demand precisely. That way we won't have to pre-order tons of components which may end up not being necessary. At the end of the day if our price ends up being higher than Marto74's we're going to order our devices via Marto74, and his price will be our price too. I'm pretty much trying to say that no matter where you end up ordering from you will pay no more than Marto74's price (which is around 0.54-0.55BTC based on the current exchange rate). The other factor that you might want to take into consideration is shipping. In the second email we'll be asking the question "Shipping preference: (From EU), (From US), (no preference)". For some countries it might be better to ship from US and for some from EU. There are also often different customs procedures, duties and taxes/VAT based on the country of origin. Do you know when marto74 will receive his pcbs for assembling those miners ? I've read 1/2 week of oktober in his thread, but i think this is for his s-hash model only.

Actually I don't like them blinking. I'm in small place and the AM miners got annoying. I soldered off the led.
The only thing I liked about the led was that it made it really easy to tell if the miners were offline, I'd get up in the morning go downstairs and see a light on and know to restart that strip. No need to have to check on the computer or ui. A disable feature would be cool (also multicolor lights not just one color for every one of them) Let's keep it cheap and simple

Cannot wait to get my boards! Is there a software option for overclocking?
No, the power regulator doesn't have a voltage adjust input. It is designed to be set using a feedback with 2 resistors, just like on the H-CARD. We thought about adding some extra circuitry around it, but we weren't sure that wouldn't interfere with the feedback loop. So is it settled and there wont be any OC at all, or is there a chance that the design will be changed ? If OC would be possible the device would be much more competitive.

So that means the pcb and its components are pretty stable, right ?
Pretty much. All of the important pieces of the design are stable. In the last revision I added also an LED (as people like blinky stuff ) but this it is purely for prettiness - it doesn't affect the core functionality in any way. Sounds awesome, im currently waiting for some money from a GB. After that i will order all my miners from marto. Cant wait to see them

No transaction received, after some time period.(Now: i wil only reduce them if the transaction reached my account. The one who pays first will receive shares first.) So it's again 8 Shares.
Selling them for: 1@ 0.9BTC equals to 8@ 7.2BTC
Your price has a negative return. So what would motivate someone to buy your shares? They will lose about $300 at your price. That's best case. Well thats not true. With KNC being late and probably not shipping that fast. Compared to other asics it is quite a good deal. Also as you can see im dropping the price on a regular base without bringing in estimate what i payed for. Im not judging you, i did nothing unfair and i think my shares are offered for a decent price. But yeah you wont make thousands with them. Go to wall street if you intend to.

what is your point? I never considered buying that system either. May as well write: Ferrari F430: Euro 325,000 ASIC HARDware Bitfury board: Euro 706 with heatsink Edit: actually Euro 709 even What a hard lie at all. 895.40 €/ 64GH = 15,39€/GH(Yes this is your real prize. Do the math yourself dont ask the fortune teller to do so.) 10,74€/GH and 15,39€/GH is a big discrepancy. And thats far from "hell yeah i easily do 10,74".

We got some boards today! https://i.imgur.com/rrSYYPSl.jpgAaaaaand it seems to be one of our better screw-ups hint: look at the USB connector pins .... /running for paint thinner nowso do you have a working stick to show? The nicer looking boards unfortunately won't make it until some time next week and I'll have just the engineering samples on Friday. I'll be assembling them over the weekend and if they don't look way too ugly I'll add some pictures of the finished devices. Here is a picture that I took the other day while doing stress-testing with one of the V1 boards: I know that at first it looks scary but it was actually a successful test. (If you're not interested in the technical details and lingo you can stop reading here ) I was experimenting with extreme values for some of the components and even in that case the communication was still stable and usable at SPI speeds of up to 200-300kHz (and as a reference - for a one-chip design 50-100kHz is more than sufficient). What you see on the oscilloscope is the MISO line after it's been converted from 1.8 to 3.3V and the effects of the capacitance of some of the components. The data was fed back to the USB controller once it was converted down to 1.8V (sort of a loopback - 3.3->1.8->3.3) which also contributes a lot to the image. So that means the pcb and its components are pretty stable, right ?

This doesn't belong in the Securities subforum, you know.
I thought this would be the matching forum, because its about shares. If you find a more suitable places please move it there. Regards.

@marto: If we want to hash at 500mhz per device, are we able to use cgminer ? And if we are able to use cgminer, do we need to use a specific fork of yours or just the origin one ?
Regards.

I dont even know if they were shipped?!
As far as i know Zefir did ship the chips Saturday morning from the inside of Germany. So they are on the way, marto should have tracking numbers (if they work for EU shipping).

Any news on zephirs chips?
I think that could take some more days, to ship them from germany to bulgaria. DHL states delivery times between 7 - 10 days. Hopefully they arrive a lot faster!
