Just out of curiosity, what is your opinion of Lisk Ico Funds being used for ByteBall distribution? Personally I think it is fine since it is Btc that has been donated to Lisk and therefore their Btc. Well I think it's great! And I really hope that ARK has seized the opportunity too. If you've missed the first round, get ready now for the second round, which is expected in mid-February. Ok, but why do you think the usage of ICO funds by Ark is unethical and the usage of ICO funds by Lisk is not unethical, since it's basically the same thing. Well it's not the same thing.... In the case of ARK, there is a big diff between using ICO funds for personal gain & transparently reinvesting all the forged Lisk into the development & recurring expenses of ARK (payroll etc...). Accountability help to increase performance of business as a whole and to maintain a positive company ethics. For someone who is not vested in ARK sure spend a lot of time here bashing ARK. Delegates want to be millionaires at the expense of the community for ordinary service node. Nobody buys the Lisk to become a delegate because to kiss ass developers is enough to become a delegate as it makes Bitbanksy and other delegates. Lisk network maintenance is very expensive. 15 000 000(more than 1 500 000 usd) new forged Lisk per year for 101 nodes? Really? If Lisk price = 10 usd, more than 150 000 000 usd for 101 nodes? LOL 101 000 new forged Lisk per year it would be enough for service nodes. If lisk price grow up to 10 usd then delegates will receive a good reward (~ more than 10 000 usd for one delegate per year). To compare Lisk with Bitshares, BTS is failed project is the same as Lisk. Lol. Ethereum miners 've bought many equipment to make their farms. Average Ethereum mining farm costs 2k $ and give to you 5500 $ per year. But how does it works in Lisk? Developers delegate spends 80-120 $ per year and receive about 14k $. Do you think that it's fair? Almost all of the new ETH is mined by a handful of big mining farm owners. Amount of revenue per year currently going to this small group of people = 131 000 000 USD Estimated cost of electricity and hardware = 79 000 000 USD Yearly profit going to ETH miners = 52 000 000 USD If you factor in the LSK delegates will spend on development/marketing, and the fact that LSK inflation decreases every year for 5 years, then LSK price would have to be above $10 before the delegates are making so much profit. Why are ARK TEC funds being used for ARK crew personal gain. Why can't they be used to up vote an ARK TEC Delegate for Lisk forging?
An ARK delegate with all forged Lisk reinvested in furthering ARK! Developers, marketing, smartbridging.. you name it.

Okay, let's try this from a different angle. ARK doesn't have the funds to vote up delegates. Currently the minimum entry into 101 is 7m lisk, ARK hold 4.7m not even close to make any delegate active if that delegate doesn't already have a lot of votes. And if an individual delegate already have millions in weight that is because they have been working on gaining in for months now, most 8-10 months. Do you think any of this individual would be willing to say, "I give up" just use my gathered weight to fund ARK. I don't think so. So ARK delegates in Lisk are not happening. Period. Try the flip side of that. An individual doesn't have enough funds to vote themselves up. Therefore you use the ARK TEC funds to do it. Travesty. Instead, Why don't you mandate that any individual who wishes to use ARK TEC for personal gain does it by lended their weight to the ARK TEC delegate and gets a return. I was the person who first came up with the idea of a TD group by trading votes from other lisk community members and adding their handle to my signature spot and also in developing the whole team in the early days. GDT is TD. There's no Roles, we're all equal.
