201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] VIVO - Masternodes, ASIC-Resistant, Secure, High MN Rewards, Decentralized on: November 01, 2017, 04:03:48 PM
started mining... got around 400kh on rx580.  i wonder how many coins per day.  is there any mining calculator?

Hello, please can you send me the link for the miner and also the details of the .conf file for this coin, i would appreciate it
I have 2 RX470 graphics cards and i would love to try solo mine

I have tried Bitsend but now they upgraded the wallet and their new wallet is broken the solo mining doesn't work anymore, not sure those guys did.
they told me to use a pool and they need to fix some issue, but they sure not being clear as to what issue it is, and if it is related to SOLO

Thanks

Regards
James
202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitsend Solo Mining How To? on: October 31, 2017, 11:14:32 PM
you need to run wallet execute file with -conf
"C:\Users\imrepc\Downloads\windows-bitsend-qt.exe -conf C:\Users\imrepc\AppData\Roaming\Bitsend\bitsend.conf"

conf should include :

rpcuser=worker
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
bind=127.0.0.1
p2pport=8801
rpcport=9998
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
listen=1

run miner with :
sgminer.exe --url http://127.0.0.1:9998 --algorithm xevan -u worker -p x

Hi, would like to know if you know if there is an issue with SOLO mining on the new wallet?
I can not connect to the wallet.
If i run the old wallet it is fine.
The new wallet though, i can connect with CPU, BUT with GPU it is giving a stupid error like character { or whatever, i think they broke it to be honest
Know anything ? thanks
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitsend Solo Mining How To? on: October 31, 2017, 11:12:35 PM
It looks like it's working, but please be aware that solo mining with a cpu is going to take a long time to find a block and (imo) you would be far better off mining with a pool. What CPU are you using btw? I was getting 103 Kh/s using opt-miner v3.6.1 with 8 threads on my Ryzen 1700X @ 4.0ghz.

This video might be helpful for cpu mining BitSend. He is getting a much higher hashrate as well.

OLD post, but hey , i wanted to ask, what video?

Anyways, CPU mining on my laptop i3 i get about gee i dont even remember now but its like low, 15 kh i think
or maybe it was just hashes not even kilo.
I left it the whole day and when i scrolled up in the window i didnt even see one YAY or YES or block anything, damit.

204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -The first Segwit Masternodecoin 0.14.0.3 Airdrop on: October 31, 2017, 11:08:28 PM
Any ideas why solo mining does not work on the new wallet ?
If i run the solo mining against my old wallet , it works.
I dont understand what the hell is wrong
For some reason CPU mining works and i connect to the RPC port.
With GPU mining it does not work, no idea why that would be
BUT as i said, with the old wallet , everything works.
Really silly.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: HCash(hsr) Mining pool release now! on: October 28, 2017, 10:01:31 PM

206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ASUS MINING-RX470-4G on: October 27, 2017, 11:38:54 PM
We as Cizgi Elektronik are the distributor of Asus for the last 26 years. Here are the results of Asus Mining RX470-4G.  OC settings, performance hashrates for single mining and dual mining and the mod file (.ROM)

http://transfer.cizgitagem.org/nsaral/asus_mining_rx470/

Please u need to help me set mine up , i dont even get 22 megahashes anymore
I now have 2 PowerColors RX470, but for some reason they have different clock speeds.
when i lower the core and up the ram i get very unstable speed and then after a while the speed of the GPUs is stupid, for example, like 150 solutions in zcash, and say 12 to 16 mh/s in ether.
not good.

207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: October 27, 2017, 11:22:42 PM
At the moment I'm getting 19 and about 280-290 sols  on gigabyte windforce oc 3gb hynix memory

Sounds awesome, is this overclocked and stuff?

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: October 27, 2017, 11:12:21 PM
24.3 MH/s stable on claymore

1060 6gb armor ocv1 (msi)

Power limit: 57%
Core: -197
Memory: +870
Fan: 65%
Temp: 54-56°C  Wink

Why do you guys reduce the core?

Can't seem to get a response

I'm wondering the same.

Lessen the heat and also the electricity.
For ethereum u need more ram speed apposed to core speed.
For zcash u need ram speed but also more core speed unfortunately.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: October 27, 2017, 11:06:40 PM
Yes, it's the 6GB version.
I've set 85% power limit to stay near 100W and I'm pulling a constant 200 - 201 MH/s.

200 megahashes on what algorithm?

I am keen to buy the "Palit Geforce GTX 1060 Stormx 3G NE51060015F9-1061F 3GB"

what do u think
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VSX] Darksend - POS 3.0 - Obfuscation - Masternodes - InstantTX [VSYNC] on: October 24, 2017, 08:34:07 PM
let's see .. you guys do not fear hat the coin was fully premined and the creator could dump the whole market at anytime?

Sorry to be an idiot, but how do people get to make money off any coin in general, i dont think i understand why people get to get rewarded of this?
Is it just because of running a full wallet on a pc and also that when you mine you are in turn validating/verifying transactions , is that it.

Also , is it possible hat u get guys that are snakes that run these pools where they can easily just steal a few of your hashes or rewards ?
I know about the donation fees, but i have always wondered further than that ?

Thanks, very general question. not sure why i thought about this.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mine new coin: VoteCoin - equihash, very low difficulty now on: October 23, 2017, 05:35:42 AM

Hi, i dont understand where you get the value of the coin, i usually use coinmarketcap.
Please slap me on the head and show me the way.

I also need help with my setup i think , i am living in the stone age or something.
I dont think my mining speed is what it could be, if somebody can help me set it up i would be grateful.

Thanks.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Luxico token (LUX) presale on: October 22, 2017, 10:52:47 AM
Hi, will i be able to mine this coin using 1 RX460 or GTX1050 graphics card or am i wasting my time?
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mine new coin: VoteCoin - equihash, very low difficulty now on: October 19, 2017, 08:01:29 AM
Maybe a better thing , because spam coins and other investment peeps like to advertise, like spectrocoin and that betite entity
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Help about Mod bios at power color Rx 470 red devil on: October 18, 2017, 03:59:32 PM
anyone have mod bios for mining ethereum Rx 470 Red devil ? my stats only 24mhs for ethereum and 500hs for XMR..
please i need guide or maybe can you share your room Sad

There are plenty of guides already around, and it's quite easy to do.

To mod you need
Windows OS
Polaros bios editor 1.4.1
Atiwinflash

1° extract your BIOS with atiwinflash
2° make a backup of it.
3° copy the 1500 Mhz mem strap up to the 1625 1750 2000 MHz straps
4° save that new bios
5° flash your card with the modified bios
6° Reboot your rig

Check on youtube "rx470 mod bios" or something like that. You will have tons of videos showing you everything in detail.
It work exactly the same way no matter the model or the brand, just use your own bios.

If you are too lazy to try, you can still check on the mining section of forum.ethereum.org, but finding the proper bios might take longer time than flashing it yourself.

Thanks now i get 26mhs (ethereum) + 400hs decred Cheesy
Thanks

I did this also , but for some reason i gained 1 or 2 mega hashes and i also ended up getting blue screens.
Not sure if i need to also flash my second card so that they balance each other?
Also i use MSI Afterburner so the settings are in synch with other? not sure if this is the right way...
I dont know how the hell some guys get 28 or 32 as seen in other videos...
I kind of left this flashing behind , but if u get 2 or more mega hashes it is a big deal...u do definitely get more cents and sometimes it can help u round off from 1.20 USD to 1.50 USD a day
F knows, i feel sad, not sure what i should so now, try this again or what ?
anybody that can assist me on a chat or teamview?  ill send u some hashes if u like,
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -The first Segwit Masternodecoin 0.14.0.3 Airdrop on: October 16, 2017, 11:29:21 PM
Which miner should I use for this algo? (both nvidia and amd)

For AMD sgminer 5.5 and for Nvidia the new Xevan ccminer by krnlx.

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/Xevan-GPU-Miner/releases  for AMD

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2237852.0   for Nvidia

Hi Elder,

Yeh they are rather pretty old miners, but they work, so i am thankful.
Would be nice if there was a quicker miner and even if it was for a fee of 1-2%.
That UK dude that created the XMR STAK CPU miner, did a good job.
I noticed that the 0.14 bitsend wallet is broken for solo mining.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔹🔹🔹[ANN][BSD] BitSend -The first Segwit Masternodecoin 0.14.0.3 Airdrop on: October 16, 2017, 11:24:09 PM

◢◤ Your Digital Network - our premise
We want a digital currency which is useful, attractive and easy to use. A currency adapted to
the social needs of consumers, who want simple, mobile, fast and secure payments.

◢◤ Development Update and Roadmap 2017- Bitsend the first Masternode Coin with Segwit Support
10/5/2017
[23:33, 5.10.2017] Steve Mueller: We made a big step forward with the new Bitsend 0.14.03 build. We entered a  completely new stage because we left the Dash Core fork and developed a completely new unique code base .

After some investigation we didn't find any other crypoto currency with a working 0.14 Masternode system!  We are very proud to achieved that goal.

It is recommend to download the newest Bitsend version 0.14.03 for desktop clients, nodes and masternodes.
Segwit will be activated from block 400000.

We partnered with coinomi. They are currenntly working on a BitSend listing in their android app service.
In the next weeks it will be also possible to use that Multicoin app as a SPV BitSendwallet

At the end of this year we are hard working to present a BitSend Electrum Solution. This will be a big step forward for a SPV wallet and also for web applications.

Joshafest works currently on a smart contract solution for Bitsend (This process is actually in 'alpha' phase, we cant promise a final release date yet)

We are proud about our development which we build without any ICO or foreign investments.

Here you will find more informations about BitSend, masternodes and about the new Core 0.14 :
https://bitsend.info/the-first-masternodecoin-with-core-0-14-and-segwit

Kind Regards
Joshafest, Kaali, Steve, Jon, Lauda, Mczarnek  and Christian

Your Bitsend
BitSend is a long term project. It is private digital currency for every generation. The POW period is going to last 33 Years (BitSend does not have block subsidy halving). The primary target of the coin is to ensure a fair distribution for its users, combined with a plethora of important features. This means that in 10, 20 years you will still be able t mine BSD at the same rate as today.
______________________________________________________
10 MB Blockchain
We have chosen a medium block size in order to ensure a high potential transaction capacity. In return, this enables consumers to transact at a very low fee.

Xevan Hash Algorithm
The Xevan Hash Algorithm is an unique combination from the dual X17 Difficulty Algorithm with an extension to 128 bits. It is our objective to have an algorithm that works for both CPU and GPU mining.
______________________________________________________
DK3 Difficulty Algorithm
The DK3 Difficulty Algorithm was developed by the BitSend Team and combines the benefits of the "Kimoto Gravity Well 3" and parts of the retarget function of Bitcoin. After then exist a second filter with the attribution and deduction of the penultimate block. After 6 hours have passed without a new block, the BitSend Diffbreak kicks in and it is possible to create a block with the minimum difficulty. This also enables the creation of private chains from to the BitSend Mainchain.
Masternode Network
Masternodes are full nodes, just like in the Bitcoin network, except that they provide a level of service to the network and required collateral to participate. Collateral is never forfeit and is safe while the Masternode is operating. This allows investors to provide a service to the network, earn interest on their investment and reduce the volatility of the currency. In order to run a masternode, you're required to have 25 000 BSD and a static IP address.

Due to the nature of the Masternode rewards, the amount that you are going to receive is dependent on the total count of active Masternodes.

Exchanges

Service
Bitsend is integrated with https://Coinpayments.net ! You can easily start your own store or add to an existing store the option to accept Bitsend as payment.

Well , version 0.14 is broken when you try to SOLO MINE.
I have reverted back to the old version.
ridiculous.

My wallet has a DAT file which is found in the linux directory ./votecoin

my windows also has a dat file which is located in the extracted directory from the ZIP

Sadly the difficulty has now risen to a point my 6x 1080ti have stopped finding blocks in a reasonable time, and because its not listed on an exchange yet and I can not justify what the price will be, I am going back to Zcash

6x 1080 cards gees like it, you seem rich man.
I get about 800 Sols/s , should i continue to mine or should i just leave it?
I mean should i , or can I mine VOT or ZCASH, or something else , i dont know?

Always new type of scams in town. You should know that any thing that is too good to be true it isn't. Almost 4% daily surely is impossible , it can be done for 1 or 2 persons if the traders doing the trades were great ones but here we are talking about a HYIP which is a scam.

No matter how long it lasts do not send them any coin or you will not see them again.

I agree

https://bitpetite.com/faq.html

Their FAQ is off to start with.

any bunch can start a site and then get plenty people to act like sheep and pretend they have invested
Its sad we have to live in this scam world now days, fs

220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mine new coin: VoteCoin - equihash, very low difficulty now on: October 12, 2017, 07:09:49 PM
I had no problems sending from a mix of addresses from Linux to Windows wallet. Some of the transfers took forever though and didn't show up in the block explorer until much later. CLI said a small amount, but block explorer wallet showed the correct amount.

Proof in the pudding... Smiley
Agg these days guys can make up log files.

Im mining some monero at the moment, and i have to say that the monero wallet gui is alot of busllshit, its so slow and horrible.

I will come to votecoin soon with my measly 2 RX470's.
I hope i can at least least mine 1 coin.
I dont even have 1 coin for Monero.

When I thought they were lost I made a shielded address in linux and sent the linux transparent pool mined coins to that, then the now shielded linux coins to my transparent windows wallet. Ended up not needing to do that. From linux to windows some transactions were nearly instant and others took hours. No idea why, just had to wake up to my windows wallet magically correct.

Not being a funny guy, but i dont really follow your story that well, i am not that experienced like u.
I will start mining this soon and let u know how it goes.
I would like help if i run in to a wall.

I have installed the votecoin-cli and created an address and i have used that address in the claymore application and it seems to be working fine.
I just dont understand, how the hell you view your amount you have mined.
I went to dos and ran the deamon and then i waited a bit then i opened another dos prompt and i type VOT totals
it then shows me 18.something odd.

I dont understand though, how do you know you own that .... nobody has answered me here on this.
Normally with other wallets u get your own .DAT file.

Same with Monero, what a painful ugly wallet itself is so bloody slow and it is also slow to synch., its stupid.

What is the problem to get own balance?
Just run cmd, cd to votecoin-cli folder and type votecoin-cli z_gettotalbalance

Thanks for answering the question already answered.
My next question which i have already asked and still no answer:
".....I dont understand though, how do you know you own that .... nobody has answered me here on this.
Normally with other wallets u get your own .DAT file...."
How do you solely own the address which you generate, this is what i dont understand.
I understand i generated the addy and then i mine to itm, but how do i retain it on another clean windows should my computer crash.
If i change computers then how do i save my wallet.address is what i am asking.
I hops this makes more sense.
