2001  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 16, 2022, 08:57:11 PM
Is there arises a situation in which we'll be having zero usage of bitcoin. Such thing won't happen, because already a country have made it legal tender. Another thing, there were more service provided only with cryptocurrency acceptance. For example more number of gambling sites were available which accepts only cryptocurrencies. So, at any situation the usage won't fall to zero which means there is nothing to worry of bitcoin dropping down to $1.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT drops profitable? on: July 14, 2022, 11:25:53 PM
As time goes by, especially when prices are dropping everywhere, it is indeed very difficult to say that NFT is still worth it for now.
They grow because the hype is indeed very fast in its pace but on the other hand this fast hype stops quickly.
I haven't even seen a good NFT project for a few months this week.
The market is in need of new things. If people are being feed with the same thing for a long it won't interest them. People need different things, and such an effort is the NFT. Initially it feels tasty due to the hype, but very few lasts whereas the majority go valueless. Even now it is possible to see different NFTs around, but to own an NFT that is worthy we need to be lucky or else we should have the perfect knowledge to estimate the market for the specific NFT.
2003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 14, 2022, 11:20:26 PM
I think that a gambler that plays with fake money will end up playing with real money.

Otherwise I don't think those fake money apps would exist. They basically use those apps to attract people that haven't gambled with real money yet.
I don't see any sense in playing with fake money. That will only be another form of temptation for gamblers who are trying to get rid of gambling. That's right, if they will play using fake money there's a huge possibility that they will switch to real money later on. It will be better for gamblers who have fallen for gambling addiction to totally avoid any gambling apps whether it promotes using real money or fake.

Yes, that makes sense. In other way, these apps doesn't help at all because these said apps will only fuel the fire to give these gamblers more motives to switch into the real deal where they could have a chance to earn money or lose money. I get what is the purpose of these apps and that is to help the gamblers, the motive is there but the deed is wrong because gamblers are only interested in real deal with real money and certainly it is not the activity what they want but the result.
These are some way of making a person get into gambling. As said, every application have got its purpose. Play money doesn't interest people to spend much time, but this will trigger people to move into real gambling. In other words this is like a platform to test ourselves the knowledge we have in gambling and to experiment different strategies that are being used in gambling.
2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 14, 2022, 11:16:28 PM
A big comeback from England, not of the win but the way they played. Lost opening order 5 wickets for just 102 runs. Further the team have managed to score 247 runs. This is really good Cricket, because most could've imagined a match similar to the first ODI. When it comes to chasing the target, India wasn't able to find a way. From the very beginning of the match Topley started to shine same as Bumrah changed the first ODI. Anyhow this win have made the third ODI to be more interesting, because it is the final that decides who win the series.
2005  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: July 14, 2022, 11:10:08 PM

I just claimed the $80 monthly bonus usually I only get $50 as standard bonus for platinum1 well this month I managed to make a profit $3k
So what makes me confused will they use a different formula for the bonus? I mean for users who lose and win. It seems a bit strange if they use a different scheme.

As you've made a good profit this month, it is being considered while calculating the bonus for the month. That seems to be the reason why you've got a lower monthly bonus against other months.
Quote
According to Stake this is the second month of the new and improved monthly bonus!

Updates include larger rewards for anyone who had loss from an unlucky month, larger rewards for sports & higher edge casino games and a slightly increased base amounts for all active players!

Depending on your gameplay there could be some months where it can go either way.

2007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Be a Failure Even If It Hits $100,000, Says "Black Swan" Author !! on: July 13, 2022, 11:12:52 PM
These people want to get some shadow, and find it a way to reveal these kind of statements. Something like a testing, but these people make their investments strong on cryptocurrencies and never reveal to the outer world. It might make some positive disturbance over the market. Always they want the market to be bearish for investment, as the focus will be in long term profiting.
2008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: July 13, 2022, 11:02:35 PM
Unlike the market trend usage of cryptocurrencies on gambling stays constant. This seems to be the reason why there is not much of deviation in the market of those mentioned cryptocurrencies associated with gambling sites. Investing on these coins in the bear market doesn't look like a fair decision, because these tokens won't show much in growth when the market turns bullish.

During the bearish and bullish market the gambling industry is the one that is able to withstand. More ways of promotions are being done, but something as making it popular through sporting events seems to grab the attention of more investors which might boost the market.
2009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It looks like the bad guys have struck again on: July 13, 2022, 10:57:29 PM
Again?

This happens at most times and these hackers or the "bad guys" will keep doing what they've been living off when they see something to exploit.

They always see new tactics and reinvention with how they trick innocent users that don't update much of what they do. Yeah, it's important to be updated at most times.
With cryptocurrency usage users need to be more cautious than using the traditional system. With time we could see more and more forms of scam approach through which hackers breach into the wallets and take control over the funds. Initially it started with phising websites and now we don't know in what way they're attacking. So, in a each and everytime we use cryptocurrency we need to be very careful handling it.
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was the coupling of Bitcoin to fiat a mistake? on: July 13, 2022, 10:03:09 PM
From my observations, the more the regulators go against Bitcoin, the more it evolves into what seems to be a liberated global currency. By my thinking, the rebellious nature of the Bitcoin community against the old, corrupt generation of money and its corrupt services (like banks) is what drives the evolution of Bitcoin. So why not let that nature loose?
It wasn't because how can they be able measure the value of bitcoin? And the reason why btc value rose is because someone buys it using their fiat. The reason why bitcoin is created is for us to have an alternative to the existing currencies and not because it was a replacement to all of them so it's fine if btc can work together with other payment methods.

It is still possible to obtain a bitcoin without using a fiat. You can mine it, get in faucets, or work for someone else and prefer btc as payment. You can also spend your bitcoin directly on almost anything so there is no need for you to sell your btc for fiat if you are allergic to it.
What you say is correct, but think of bitcoin being valued. Each Satoshi equals certain amount of USD in value or valued against some other fiat currency. Everyone can't mine, and when buying we're in need of using the fiat value. Right now is it possible to value bitcoin without USD. If so, bitcoin could've got even more usage and growth.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 13, 2022, 09:57:07 PM
~
I have seen the poor performance of the Bangladesh team in T20 and Test series. No player on the team has consistently performed well. But in the ODI format, I see another Bangladesh team. Bangladesh dominated and won both the ODI matches. Their performance in today's match was remarkable. They lost just 1 wicket and reached the target. I have not seen such a good performance of the Bangladesh team for a long time.
It was a dominating victory and when Bangladesh won the first match easily, i thought it was a good win but never thought they would repeat the same performance in the second game, but they surprised me with their performance in the second game as well with dominating the West Indies batsman and then chasing the score relatively easily and they won the series which is historic.
Both the matches were almost similar in terms of scoring as well as the play from the West Indies. In recent day West Indies was performing good and now once again it have started to do what it does earlier. Because, there won't be any consistent performance. All of the sudden it gives unexpected results winning big scores and losses worse as we saw with Bangladesh. West Indies need to find some solution to have consistent performance.
2012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: July 11, 2022, 11:59:45 PM
Not within a year it won't, at the very best scenario that Polygon make a surprising development with the utility on their platform and the crypto bullish happened and help them, the price price they could reach will be less than $10. The case right now is that they far behind Solana and BSC, their most popular usage is OpenSea I think and the popularity of NFT is keep falling down, so except they do something, the $20 won't even happen at anytime.
With the next bullish it can reach high, but $20 is something very big. Already it have marked its ath value around $3. Additional $17 is something very big expectation. As said the NFT market have got big dependence over the market. Recent days the NFT trend have got away same as ICO. People have realised these are some form of market strategies.
2013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: July 11, 2022, 11:13:31 PM
So right now the market is unpredictable. Even in this condition as we all can see most YouTubers and even Kucoin, and Binance exchanges promote meme coins. What would you guys do about this meme coins project? are you guys ok to invest in these coins or rather not invest this time? because most famous coins like shib, and doge are now in the dip as we can see.

Do you really think that such a situation make sense to invest in meme, probably memes are the Opertunity when you are in good market situation and at high risk you make a small investment in meme still i try to avoid meme investment should need to be worth to be made so ALT are considered but a True potential project rather than that you should go with king only
In every market situation bitcoin have proven its ability to the world. There is no doubt, it is the king. Memecoins in recent days are promoted by the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange. Why they're doing it, because money. Being the world's top exchange, the suggestion will bring more investors and the same brings money to exchange. Even after its listing, there is need of someone to give hype to those memecoins.
2014  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: July 11, 2022, 11:08:36 PM
Sad that there wasn't a big mention about the ancient Rome part. I mean it's much more than just a passing line, we know all about it. Hell even the famous quote of Ceaser "alea aecte est" is literally "the dice are rolled", like let's see what's going to happen. This is why I believe that "alea" as in dice, played a huge role in roman times.

From slaves to lanistas, from generals to "kings" consul, regular people, everyone played dice there. This is why it has been one of the oldest games ever, and literally first gambling crypto ever got as well. "Aleatorium" is the place where it's like a casino, basically a gambling house where you drink and you roll dices.

It is understandable that gambling in ancient Rome isn't highlighted, since the discussion is about history in general.  Maybe you can create a new topic where it discusses Ancient Rome's gambling history highlights.  If OP has to present the gambling history in full detail then OP might take more than a month to compile them all.  But well yeah, we can share historic trivia here to spice up the discussion.
Not only in ancient Rome, around the world in different dynasties gambling practice is being followed in different forms. To analyse those and making a documentary will be really interesting. Maybe a museum for gambling history seems to be fair, that every gambler will intend to visit in their lifetime Grin Grin Wink
2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 11, 2022, 10:51:23 PM

I don't understand what is the point of giving Virat Kohli chances after chances when he keeps failing again and again. And I also don't understand what is the point of giving him chances in the world cup.  wouldn't it be better if they got another player instead of him in the team and tried to give him some play time so that he will be ready for the world cup?
What you say is correct, but when one of the leading player is to be excluded from a tournament many things need to be considered. Just because he's not into form making criticism is not fair, need to think of what he have contributed to the team in the past days. He can take a break and come back, because right now he'll loss his play if the pressure gets built.
2016  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading really worth it? on: July 11, 2022, 10:24:53 PM
Trading is definitely worth the effort. The question is a bit different - the trader's readiness to work. For example, I tried my hand at working on a demo account of Amarkets broker. This allowed me to understand whether I should use such an industry for work.
Trading practice is the key factor that generates value through the demand and supply. Here everyone can't be the master. You make yourself knowledgeable, automatically trading will help you earn unlike the market trend. As mentioned it is always a good choice to analyse and understand trading even before going for real-time trading.
2017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many Crypto Projects Will Die on: July 11, 2022, 06:57:01 PM
Out of the inflation more fiat have lost their values. Same as that more cryptocurrencies too have lost its market. Unlike the market, projects come into existence and get out of the market. This is the reason why experts always suggest to invest on top listed cryptocurrencies. Many projects that didn't grow in the initial days have taken years for its big progress. So, we can't get into conclusion which cryptocurrency will end or survive for the long.
2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: July 11, 2022, 05:56:59 PM
Whales are backed by team of analytics, they have best resources at their disposal and they know keep the price dropping till they empty our pockets and then make huge profits. Hedging their own new versions of shitcoin against true bitcoin, Which will by than become hallmark standard of crypto
Yes, Whales always make the right move and make the the best out of it. Over this bear market there is not much of whales playing to manipulate the market. We the common cryptocurrency users need to understand the game of Whales, then shitcoins won't make a big market. Few influencers in the market started this standard, but this isn't gonna last.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 10, 2022, 05:27:11 PM
Rohit Sharma's performance as captain for India T20 team has been fantastic. After adding yesterday's match this was his 14 consecutive win as a captain. He know where to place the fielder and which bowler needs to be introduced when a partnership starts to build. Considering his intelligent captaincy I think this time the performance of Indian cricket team in the upcoming ICC T20 tournament would be far much better than what it was last time.
When team wins then everything looks easy peasy, just saying but yeah Rohit does bring some sort of luck in cricketing field as skipper as compare to our dear panuti.
---------------
Ha! India is again going with another 4 more changes in the team, they also made 4 changes in 2nd game yesterday and doing the same tonight. Clearly checking out all the available options and not shying away.

Both teams scored a lot of runs in this T20 match. England has scored 215  in the 20 overs and lost 7 wickets. India is chasing at the moment and they need 74 runs from 33 balls. In any other match, I would have said that this does seem nearly impossible. However, Surya Kumar Yadav is still in the crease and has scored 86 from 44 balls.

So, even though the required run rate is 13.5 I think India still has a really high chance especially because they have 7 wickets in hand also.

Once after the wicket of Surya Kumar and Shreyas, there is no one to make a big score. It is much expected with Dinesh Karthik, but this time it is an disappointment. Anyhow the second match win have brought the series win. How the same England players didn't perform during the previous matches.
2020  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and crypto can only stay if it getting simple also secure people are afraid on: July 09, 2022, 11:29:47 PM
It is unfair to say Crypto is less secure and it gives the way for losing. Everywhere the security systems were developed good. Compared to the old days, now it is very rare to see information about security breach. This is all because of the common people. Earlier technology is designed for certain level of people. Now everyone have begun to use it. According to the need things need to be changed and provided in a better way.

For all who say Crypto is to loss, then it is the wrong understanding about the system. Same as that one use a fiat wallet, people are able to access a cryptocurrency wallet and make payments. Even the one who hasn't got much technical knowledge, but used to smartphones will easily use cryptocurrency wallets.
