@Woody20285, your full of it. Bucks was dormant and almost dead for YEARS before you registered your account. So i don't think you even have the right to talk about it LOL
You have no idea what you are talking about. I had a live Gorilla Bucks wallet and a Teeth and an MMXIV and even a Snowballs, and Variance and, of course, - the post swap Gorilla Bucks. You are an idiot. Typical Spots supporter - try to discredit people with nonsence. I have the wallets still to prove I was in the coins. Where do you have the info I was not?? I have my 4 coin swap into New gorilla Bucks emails with Spots to show the dialog that went back and forth, proving I was in the coins. Further, how could I register (as you say) for BUCKS when it was "dead and dormant" for years?? Years?? Finally, you would not have access to my wallet addresses or associate them with my name unless you are an ardant Spots supporter (devoid of anyconcept of reality) and he gave them to you which I doubt he would do (but I could be wrong). The only time my addresses and name were tied together was during the swap which alone proves I was in the coins.

By the way, I think people have yet to realize the confort of having a CLOUD bot, i.e. you do not have to have your pc running all the time and you can check it on your mobile!
First impression after testing it: very nice! overdelivered as expected!
Still exploring it - but already part of my days trading

Ok - I was done with this thread but Original Bucks - Get real - sold $1 per coin and 4 weeks later merged into with 3 other coins (2 were garbage he owned a ton of) $10,000 in his pocket
Said he could not get it on an exchange yet brags about knowing all exchange guys and they will do anything for him. Have not noticed him having any trouble getting any of his many new coins on exchanges.
Even accounting for the stakes for Original Bucks, it was a 1 to 8 reduction of capital for the Original Bucks buyers. For me, $300 in - $24 out and, I didn't wait till new Bucks died but got average prices.
Creating an expensive coin, doing nothing with it, merging in a 4 weeks, no options for Original Bucks holders - no market, no refund (sorry changed my mind) just a cash grab.
Scam - I think it qualifies - ethics requires someone to make decisions in the best interest of others. He did not operate in the best interest of Orignal Bucks holders - just himself.
God, I hate this thread - everyone just let it die. “Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. ..." Godfather Movie- (for the younger member)
Not even close to true. The vast majority of people, yourself included, traded MMXIV in for original BUCKS. They did not just hand me money OK so what did I send you $300 for and you sent 3 keys loaded with 100 coins each?? I'm not the only one remembers it as Bucks (a $ buck - a buck in $100 increment) "Many of us got ROYALLY screwed on the original low supply bucks. They were over a $1 a coin on spots VERY controlled gorilla.exchange. I cant even imagine what theis coin would do if it were to land on Bittrex as the original pricey bucks was exclusive to gorilla.exchange" With no volume to allow anyone to get out: - from Teeth spinoff thread. Maybe my old memory is wrong and it was Teeth. Whether Teeth or Bucks losses were real. Choices were none. Merger was forced.

On average every 2/3 hours, the wallet (also last version) goes out of sync and restart it touches !!Also it continues to give the stake "generated but not accepted mined" .... What could be wrong On a set % POS coin, you don't lose anything when you see "generated but not accepted". The system keeps trying and when you do receive it, ithe amount is a little larger since the time till paid is longer. Out of synch - I have had that lately when a block time runs long but it re-sets itself when the block ckears. If it is an all the time thing you might PM the DEV for suggestions. Generated but not accepted - Same check with DEV. I have only had 3 of those in 45 days. Again you are not losing a stake but, I can't help on cause in your case. Usually it is several people fighting for the same block at the same second and the network choses 1 to receive POS. Could be your block size it too small or you are unlucky or need more nodes?

I've read a couple of recent muck-spreading articles about Cryptsy, largely based upon rumour. The articles were overly-biased against Cryptsy. I'm sure most of you are aware of them. Hardly impartial journalism. There was much presumption and very little fact - and presumption being pushed forward as fact. I believe that Cryptsy is being targeted by unscrupulous people - possibly even bankers/criminal elements. DDos attacks, spamming with micro-amounts, rumours etc. Here's what Paul Vernon has to say: http://www.newsbtc.com/2015/10/07/cryptsys-ceo-a-hard-man-in-the-face-of-coinfires-aggro/I for one like Cryptsy and trade there a lot. I tend to ignore a lot of the news because journalism is not the fact based reporting it once was. But the reports that they are under Federal investigation got my attention. Are you saying that is not true?? Even if it is, I hope they come out the other side well and improved , if improvements are necessary.

what's the best way to combine blocks, is there a 'combine threshold' setting, or is manual method the only option? thanks
You can also put in the tekcoin.conf file splitthreshold=12000 or whatever value you want It will not help with combining though. it will keep blocks from splitting unless over that amount Unlike some mini-block stakers , I go for very large blocks When you combine, say you want 200 coins in a block select approx. 400 coins that have recently staked. Put your own address in the send line and also, in the the custom change line. Type 200 coins in send, the balance goes to same custon change lineIt makes the combines go twice as fast. (If you don't see coin control to select the blocks and custom change options, go to setings-options-display and check the box)

Does anyone have working nodes - no connections for a while
Nope, no nodes here either. Guess since the developer abandoned - he let the nodes expire. Only hope here is if someone knows a dev. looking for a project

Not many coins out there that are continuously developing and looking to push the limits.
I know synergy - GrampaJones and his team are in that league. This coin is definitely in my long term hold list!

The continuous development on this coin is always exciting. Synergy is moving up steadily - buy while you can!

Was going to ask if anyone was having a problem with wallet synching, but went to explore and saw no block ofund in 2 hours . My wallet says synching 2 hour behind.
Hopefully it is going to resolve itself??
I noticed this as well.. I am monitoring.. AND mining.. We need to act fast.. Its been a week since I asked for opinions about PoS.. Only one or two replied to it.. We need to go PoS asap after tonight.. This means a swap will occur soon. Meanwhile.. please keep mining to keep the chain moving.. It seems the miners just stopped... I only have about 4 mhs myself.. which I will throw in... If this does not resolve by mining a few hours.. we need a more drastic measure I will contact exchanges tomorrow about PoS plans. Now I need some sleep.. its 6 in the morning here.. I have been running full 8 threads through my cpu and no blocks for 8 days - got 40 on the 10th a couple the 11th and 12th then zip

That's good because I installed them and still never got the new wallet working - had to roll back to the old one
Dev asked me to try the newest installer. it worked perfectly and I now have the new wallet installed. Everything is working well. Thank you DEV.

I have 9 blocks of coins each stakes 1x per day.
Currently the smallest are 39 (2 blocks), 50 (2 blocks), 80 (2 blocks), 250 (1 block) and 625 (2 blocks)
Why the big blocks - got lazy and just combined them because they were getting too small. The smaller blocks were staking at the time.I will probably stake more often as they split down .

Vegas: you definitely think out of the box!
|
|
|
OK - Edit: (re-read - I am excluded because over 5000 coins- got it) I am one of the big guys and will exclude myself joining Vegas. I LOVE the idea. Missed the slack discussion as I just jumped in there. I am a little guy in a lot of coins and receive few stakes. Even sold out of several coins because the big stakeholders dominated.
Anything like this that can encourage the community to be involved and, that gets small bag holders to engage is perfect in my book. Rewarding small stake holders and helping grow their FLY - WOW.
Be interested to hear more opinions!

i deleted the silly post because it was misleading and wrong. I will say it again, microstaking is only valuable as a dick move to lower other peoples stake. You do not earn a better overall rate microstaking it is much worse since you do not get to compound. Larger blocks compound faster.
Everyone has been warned and when the short notice hardfork rolls out we will likely remove coinage from blocks under 1k.
For what it's worth, I fully support Thundertoe's plan to prevent assholes from micro-staking and to prevent them from dick-blocking other people's stake returns. I've been a long time TEK holder and fan and I can't wait for the hardfork to take place. Agree 100%. . micro stakers have the right to do it. Community has right to complain. Dev. is the man.

Cryptopia is a great exchange - just some coins there get little to no volume. Now that you are getting the word out we may see an uptick in usage there.
