What made him so overconfident is still a question for me? To me he made himself a twat or someone who accidentally became a captain of a team and has no idea about their performance. I don't think Barcelona needs to do all that to bring Messi home. his arrival also does not necessarily make the squad better if they have to lose other important players. It's not good I think to sell some players at the moment who are still helping Barca to fight. just to repatriate those one-stars who left. I wouldn't say Messi has lost his form at the moment. but Barca should target young players who have more potential as their assets as well. rather than buying players who are quite old. I agree with you and regardless of the wishes of the other Messi fans, I think for now Barcelona must stay focused on the future and build the squad as much as they can to show that they are not weak without Messi. They can still play well although not always consistent. After all, Messi is not necessarily willing to return after seeing several interviews on the television channel.
