Oh god... this has become like the troll box on btc-e. It's quite disturbing how one person can hijack the thread like this and ignore any real debate.

its much easier when you use ignore Wink

Altcoin developer Interview? - Is this really what most of them think?

Thank you! You just made my day, haven't laughed that hard in ages....way better than the hitler memes...

It's interesting to note issue's regularly appear early on a Friday and rarely get resolved before a Tuesday/Wednesday the following week. Also notable is how this seems to occur with alarming frequency at the end of the month....

Patterns point to behaviour that is questionable at best.

Funny how the above seems to have played out almost perfectly....again.

There's a growing predictability here....
2024  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 01, 2015, 01:17:10 PM
I am certain there is some Left Hand>Right Hand transactions going on in the XPY markets , but the pattern says it is only a relatively small amount.Primarily to get Pumps going, and the faithful pile on afterwards.  And, this is important, 90% of the trading is happening on Cryptsy, which does have fees. Also, there are way too many people following these pump and dump cycles cashing in on the wave (myself included) for it to be a major amount of fake transactions to create perception of volume. The amount he would lose to all of the day traders following this is massive compared to the fee issue. The reality is that people really are buying into XPY still. Hard to fathom, I know, but it is the case.

Indeed, from what I know of one or two big holders, they're big traders. They wouldn't ever say as much but I'm sure theyy've been trading their backsides off to derisk and minimise losses to date.

Point being, as there are a number of people "playing the market" the competition to suck out BTC from any rises is fierce. If things have to be paid for and there's little money to do this, then gaming the market becomes even more critical. Strangling those traders while trying to hoover up any cash you can seems to be the name of the game.

Looking at volumes recently, all these players are using each each others money to give impressions of activity when in fact it's a progressively slide maintained by various vapours and "rays of light". The sharper one's use these times to trade a profit, and as I suspect they're far better than certain players we could mention.

Lack of communication would indicate all is not well, at the bare minimum it's rude not to let people know what's going on with their money. But then good manners has never been a strong point of Mr Ganza.

The way this whole deal is being operated, Companies within and without the circles of trust, LLP law and "subsidiaries" makes me believe the liabilities are being hived off to a point where that entity can be euthanised and the remaining "Branches" of the group can continue as if nothing has happened. Just guessing of course but it doesn't look good from where I'm standing and talking to other industry people, those that have even heard of it, well, they just laugh

Thing is, a good SEO effort and some money in the right place and you can make that go away.

Remember, the "user base" and the commentators and spectators only amount to a few 10's of thousands people at best. Pumping websites up the rankings and pushing decent traffic isn't hard.

However, there are a lot of upset people that could continue to be the thorn in the side of any PR via postings etc.

Ah, the rich fabric of life eh?

That's clearly not Josh on that account, it stands out a mile.

I'll stop posting here now since so many of you are so offended of a different perspective.

I feel like I'm on Hashtalk.  lol

But thanks to those that gave me some input.  It really only made me believe more in XPY.

Take care and good luck, guys!

Why bother even having a public coin if its smarter to hold 99%.... why not go the whole hog and do 100%. No risk from twitchy "wannabe" investors and bad actors.

On board some good names in advance, furnish them with large chunks of your premined coin, using this "connection" to leverage your investors further generating large amounts of cash with out raising a sweat, get them to use their funds to support the value and distribute them in a way that gives adoption a shot, maintain crypto keys to the kingdom at all times and use node models to generate further profits as value is held....

See, not hard to imagine a way to launch a digital currency/token based system with some depth. Just need the ears and hearts of a few CEO's, CSO's, CFO's and CTO's. Then of course there's the catering markets.... oh I could go on for hours..... give me half a million dollars and I could deliver you a real system in a global environ that, once known would be that "Duh" why didnt I think of it moment". But then these little ideas and epiphanys arent hard to create, design and imagine.. or are they? to me some of this is a no brainer.

Every reason you try to throw up to justify an outrageous premine and subsequent "plan" to recover the publicly mined coins "at a bargain price for future profit" highlights that you do not have a clear grasp of how all this "crypto malarky" works.

If the current "plan" IS as you claim then it is deceitful and foolish and highly unlikely to win over any support in institutional or professional circles. Any way you paint this 'plan' it comes out bad.

PAYCOIN CARES TO INSTALL WORLD’S FIRST XPY ATM IN AFRICA, AIMS TO FUEL DIGITAL CURRENCY WITH HUMANITARIAN PROJECTS

PHASE 1. Project Funding by Raising Awareness

Adam and his team plan to generate funding for the PAYTM Remittance Project by sharing a Zimbabwe man’s story. A group from Team PayCoin will travel to Africa to help tell his story and how it costs him almost 50% in fees to send money to his family in Zimbabwe.
PHASE 2. Finalize and Deploy Paytms

Currently, Paycoin Cares is at work researching the optimal locations to install the first Paycoin ATMs. Their goal is to make the biggest impact as possible! Once they have generated funding and located the optimal regions, they will begin the installation of PAYTMs

im pretty sure this is magical thinking again and nice words on a paper. of course there is no road-map. no technical information about this ATM terminal. is it produced inhouse or btc terminal transformed. how many are planned. is it xpy only
no names of partners. no name of the person whos story is being told.

i guess its planned that there is no information that could be confirmed by a third party. its sick to leverage something like this

This one I shall watch with interest as I have a friend that is doing a remittance business out that way. It's a small world Wink

AS for the ATM, again, this will be interesting to watch.

This is going to be fun to watch.

Can't see BTC people taking this one quietly.

GAWCEO - "We have given all the upside (profit) we have made back to the community."

Couple of things stand out with this....

a) not a very smart business model
b) wasn't worth much if you're busted and asking for community handouts already in terms of development assistance

I wonder when the last time the CEO of Apple, Google, Exxon Mobile, or Amazon banned someone for asking questions on a forum  Huh

^^^ This about sums it up.

Also, it's notable that this company created a multi million dollar business that others bought into with promises of ready made this and that, none of which turn out to be completely true.

That people cannot see this simplest of deceptions is beyond me. It's a bait and switch.

Bait. ready to go platform with pre-assigned and supported value.
Switch. Incomplete framework, unsupportable value, need help due to loss of skill & knowledge bases, your obligation to support GAW as you bought in via coins.

Again, the intent to proceed down this path may not have been willful deceit, but the resulting fiasco going on around this whole Company tends to make one wonder how they ever expected to succeed as they are all clearly out of their depth.

Internal source just confirmed, the first official subpoena has been sent to GAW.

Shots fired!

This means the SEC "inquiry" has officially turned into an "investigation". Everything done in the dark will soon be revealed by the light (aka SEC).

Well, in all honesty, until there's proof of the memo being real that you posted the other day I see no reason to readily believe this nugget of info either. Not saying it's untrue, but as always, it is easier to say than it usually is to prove these things to the satisfaction of the masses.

I am not here to "convince" you of anything. I am merely sharing what someone very trustworhty has felt the need to share with me. Not sufficient for you? Feel free to pick from the "treasure trove" of information available elsewhere.

Don't get me wrong, what you post is certainly possible based on the performances so far, I am not a doubter that this [GAW] is "all wrong".

Question: is there a roster of the current dev team somewhere w/ their credentials?  Seems like a pretty basic thing for a company like this to have on their website (e.g., one trying to revolutionize payments).  What experience do these dev-folks have?  What experience do the devs and other professionals have in the highly regulated and long-existing payments industry?

Actually, no.

Why offer up your staff security, especially when dealing with payments. Full disclosure is not always smart or appropriate. I know I wouldn't release all my staff info to a forum of anonymous people. Think about it.

Whichever way you want to spin it, there are many legitimate reasons why opacity works. Security is as good as any,

I'm curious, as Paycoin has been deliberately centralised, have GAW taken the appropriate precautions and do they have the appropriate skills to maintain the security of Paycoin?

Clearly, choosing to centralise so much of the infrastructure, brings with it unique risks.

With the known loss of key personnel, is GAW still capable of managing this project?

So what is that, about $1 / day?

Soon (TM).

Might be more like €0.88 / day based on CEO's new locale Wink

You're intimating he is in the EU zone?
