2021  Other / Off-topic / Re: R.I.P Asian Football World : Indonesia on: October 02, 2022, 02:24:08 PM
This shouldn't have happened. Really sad of the incident, and a black day in the football history. The fans should know their limits, supporting their respective teams is good. More leagues are happening around, and now only football popularity around Asian countries growing good. Once again this incident will affect the football history in Asian Countries.

When people think sports is more than their lives then this kind of unrest situation happens, no one is really a sports lover if they only love the team or player when they are on their winning side, a real supporter will back them no matter what is the situation.

But FIFA is sanctioning the board? Atleast they tried something so we can hope the severity reduced by some rate. Huh
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Net Bitcoin ATMs growth drops globally for the first time ever on: October 02, 2022, 01:01:13 PM
Regulations seems the big problem for Bitcoin ATM, even in my country many startup companies tried to do business with the installation of Bitcoin ATM but every attempt ended as a failure because the government and central bank doesn't really draw a line in most countries about installing of currency machine for public should be issued by which authority.
2023  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is a creeping beast on: October 01, 2022, 07:44:51 PM
Every now and then we get new monetary policies and as money supply keeps growing too rapidly inflation sets in which inturn reduces the purchasing power of our various fiat currencies. This inflation don't just happen spontaneously it starts with a comfortable price hike everyone can cope up with and continually increase until it becomes noticeable.

It comes in stages the first face might only affect the poor and small scale entrepreneurs, the second phase might be a matter of concern for medium  scale entrepreneurs ,the third stage is when the large scale investors gets affected too and the final stage is when the producers start feeling the impact on the cost of raw material and reduction in production quality and patronage. Before this time there have been slight change in material cost but it might not be too obvious to stair national concern.

The world at this point needs a decentralised currency that can be monitored through a public ledger  that way excessive money printing will be curtailed and going by how challenging keeping up with the rapid inflation has become there is every tendency of having worst GDPs in coming years because if manufacturers and Producers fails to meet up the hight cost of production then they will in due cause turn to low standard products just to keep the demands and stay in production
I agree that we need the decentralized monetary system to escape from the trap of inflation but why we are still waiting for the government approvals if its the real solution?

There are some people who make money even while the inflation increase and government doesn't get affected as such people that is why they simply approach the inflation rate increase as nothing serious but to the one who is earning money by giving effort know the real pain behind it.
2024  Other / Meta / Re: Why forum search taking years to load on: October 01, 2022, 05:06:23 PM
I was looking for a list of users who have used the word "sir" to address other forum members. I never got the search result and it's always loading. I have waited for a long time but it never gets ended. Is it because the query has a lot of results or something? Don't ask me why I was looking for this query. I was trying to write a sarcastic reply but wanted to be sure before I write it lol.
More the results the time taken for the results will be longer on forum search engine in my opinion, it will be taking atleast 10 to 20 seconds with exact keywords in a thread so imagine how long it will be if we search the whole forum for single keyword. We all know the forum is not really modern and having all the features that is why the new forum software is in progress until that we can use the alternative ways as mentioned above.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A bitcoin whale is ready to sell 5000 Bitcoins or already sold. on: October 01, 2022, 01:40:10 PM
Let's say already sold but this is not a big deal, thousands of Bitcoins were traded everyday on all across the exchanges and the price can be manipulated only if the trade was made a very low price than market price for very slight movement in the natural market movements.
2026  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Banned on: October 01, 2022, 12:51:40 AM
First of all, OP keep your queries about a particular situation in the thread itself don't create new for every query rises from the reply of forum members unless it is really necessary.

And you forgot the thumb rule, not your keys not your cryptos.

About the situation it is almost impossible to retrieve the funds back after the time period given by the exchange so even if you manage to contact the support in other media the chances are less for you.
2027  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: In future when crypto is everywhere how will we protect ourselves? on: September 30, 2022, 03:39:07 PM
First of all, some random gang starts to enter into a house and ask for the possession of cryptocurrency in your wallets and access to it in anywhere then the government should be having better law and order in their region which can only stop them completely.

However no one can't really find how much we are having unless we expose it so better keep your value confidential and when you have the feeling of you won't be robbed in a way like you described then expose it.
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: September 30, 2022, 01:37:07 PM
I remember an old thread where some countries or particularly one where the legal age to gamble is 10 that's crazy right. However mostly 18 is the legal age to gamble in most part of the world and the same goes to the internet casinos. I don't know the gambling tourism is still exists apart from Vegas and one country near to China?
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: September 30, 2022, 09:42:36 AM
Investing in the stocks if casino can be little tricky because the returns will be s lot less in the reality while comparing the rewards of gambling so as a gambler they will always prefer the gambling. But as an investor the casino industry is very good and post covid the online casino and gambling companies are making more profits than before.
2030  Economy / Economics / Re: With crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 30, 2022, 08:03:55 AM
Snip~
.
.
.
It depends on the interest of the people too what excites them and what brings them more money
in our country crypto is not legal and people get so much problem with drawing the crypto money - so they faces so many problems- they have to hire a third party for all this

But the purpose of cryptocurrency becomes obsolete when we can't avoid a third party while making transactions right because it is actually created to eliminate anyone apart from the sender and receiver.

People from a country where cryptocurrencies are illegal has to look for other possibilities like stable coin or other payment modes so the Fiat can be received.
2031  Economy / Economics / Re: With crypto jobs make government jobs irrelevant in the near future? on: September 29, 2022, 06:26:30 PM
I don't believe the crypto and blockchain related jobs are enough to fill up the jobs in the government sector, it may help the government to reduce the human force needed for the system to run but as a result the people who are in the job will be laid of and have to find their career path in other sector. The new economical era is going to be highly uncertain so self employed people will be having higher chance of survival than others.

Looking at your last sentence you are still saying same thing that self employed people will have higher chance for good life. So what would someone having a good life with the lots of Independence in crypto and blockchain industry be looking for a government work that you are restricted and don't have your freedom, may not earn a comfortable salary to go watch the world cup for example  Grin but a blockchain industry business person can have all the time to go for such trip. The bottom discuss is that there are possibility that in the future youth won't need government established office jobs because of the opportunity in blockchain industry.
I am not saying that blockchain related jobs aren't going to get the salary or anything but my point is it will not be enough to everyone in, every sector has to work together to build the complete ecosystem so the supply and demand cycle will be under control so then we can get the entertainment in the way we want.
2032  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is crypto hot wallet that bad on: September 29, 2022, 05:01:27 PM
Are there others on this forum that have been using the likes of Trust wallet since many years back and never get compromised?.
Trust wallet is safe compared to other multi crypto supported wallet and you can use any wallet that is completely open source and non custodial for storage of cryptocurrencies whether its long term or short term. The chances of wallet get compromised is to lose the security of seed phrase and it really depends on every individual who created that wallet.

And if you know your crypto portfolio value is too big to trust the all the wallets available for free then surely getting a right hardware wallet will be a better choice.
2033  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where are these payments coming from? on: September 29, 2022, 03:39:46 PM
@OgNasty, just freeze the coins or do it like you are doing it by donating it.

Ya, I don't mind donating the coins to FreeRoss.  A little bit annoying to see them continue to send me coins, but I guess we'll see how much they're willing to send.  I guess there are worse things that could happen.  I still wonder if these are some sort of payouts for something.  Who knows when it comes to Bitcoin...  I never got a response from other users who I was able to identify on the transaction list, so I guess other users aren't too worried about it.  Waiting now to see if I get another transaction I have to forward as I don't want to be held responsible for these payments without knowing where they're coming from.
Less likely to be dust attack because most of the dust attack pays only few sats which doesn't even worth cents but here the payment made was bigger than that so someone is sending the coins to wrong address or willingly just for annoying, possibly?

Time to Bump this legendary thread.

By the way, Promo is rocking the chatroom right now, and if I understand it  correctly if you are level 15+ you should be there as in right now.

First drop were 0.75 ltc for 3 lucky chatters.

That is on top of giving a lot of faucet bonus codes that when redeemed you get 100,000 tokens.

Too bad missed the faucet code but again if you're level 15+ and above go there now.
sad that I have just check this now , maybe I have a chance in winning (but of course not an assurance)

is this what means lightlord is actively running the business again ? and we may see another advertising in our Humble forum as they have been rested for a year now at least?

anyway thanks for sharing mate because I have leave the site and the chatroom for some time now, and just visited it now.
Lightlord is not really active in this forum and even if he came online didn't show any interest in their ANN and controversies building up for very long time especially when their campaign stopped abruptly due to no response from him so I don't think there is any chance we can see them to advertise in this forum or atleast in the near future.

But they casino is operating normal and didn't forget to rain promotions whenever there is a need for it.
2036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Successful Journey of Crypto Awareness on: September 28, 2022, 03:58:59 PM
It takes lot of efforts to encourage upcoming generation to learn something new which is mostly interpreted by the old school rulers who is in control of most part of this world. And the journey may never comes to an end in this way because you will be satisfied with inspiring others so keep the job continue as long as you can.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Passive income of 15% per annum in USDT and USDC on: September 27, 2022, 03:40:33 PM
There is an idea and opportunity for realization of cryptocurrency bank, which will allow investors to receive 15% per annum in USDT and USDC.
For a deposit of 1 month, the investor will receive 1.25% of the deposit amount (taking into account compound interest, we obtain more than 16% per annum, if you reinvest the profits).
I want to understand how interesting it is? Perhaps there are better suggestions?
I would be grateful for any thoughts, ideas and questions to better evaluate the idea.
First ever thought is it can't be real, no platform can simply give 15% interest for all the deposits either they may assist with the loss or the value will be at 8 to 10% to cover up when their market is in loss.

I won't trust the website who is saying they guarantee the return unless they prove it for a while l.
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point do you sell your Bitcoin forever, OR wait to buy back later ??? on: September 27, 2022, 01:55:18 PM

So here is the question I am asking you guys:

1.   At what point do you guys lose faith in the dream of Bitcoin going to the moon, cut your losses and sell ??

2.   At what point do you sell your Bitcoin, Convert to cash, and wait to buy 20 times as many Bitcoin at a much lower price, say something like 1000 dollars ??

3.   Would you never sell, no matter what is happening in the crypto world, and ride Bitcoin down to the bottom ??

1. Everyone who is in the crypto market knows there are bear and bull trends followed by each other so sell doesn't necessarily mean they lost the faith, it can be their goal price once they hit it they go for sell or atleast the capital.

2. It depends but I don't wait for 20 times less price than its ATH, when it reach 70% then its good deal for long term.

3. Part of my portfolio but not entirely in that way.
2039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 25, 2022, 05:36:03 PM
Yes, probably the company thinks that these influencers can taint their platform among the users which is going to affect the platform so probably they are banning it and maybe government also can be the reason. But why not sport betting and poker which I don't understand? Roll Eyes

Whatever the reason they do that, that's something we will never know. Here we can see that not all well-known influencers are as helpful in the business industry as they are on twitch.

Isn't twitch known as the go-to tool if anyone wants to create content via live streaming? I was just wondering how this affected twitch. did this influencer use the platform to tarnish twitch's name later?
I don't really use the Twitch because only fans ( just for sarcasm) Cheesy

Content creators may affected the users by collecting money from them and gamble with the funds online and when people started doing it then it becomes a negative mark for the whole gambling content creators.

But what the platform should do is ban the creators who is exploiting the users instead of banning the category where they belongs to.
2040  Other / Meta / Re: How username turned into "Anonymous" in 2022? on: September 25, 2022, 01:23:23 PM
Or the user asked out of curiosity to know what is actually happened and asked this as public may serve the answer for everyone who had the same curiosity of what happened all of a sudden.

Its not a secret anymore but still for the privacy reasons the creator name hidden in the thread and that's it.

That's what MPs are for. If the person is curious and wants to get more details, they can respectfully question the user.
Royse777 is not such a distant and unknown user in the community that it is difficult to contact him.

But that's it, what's done, is done. It serves as an example for future cases.  Wink

I assume you're talking about PMs but imagine if 100s of users have the same question and bombarding the user's inbox it will be more annoying and replying everyone in personal is time consuming right. Cheesy
