1101  Economy / Economics / Re: For average Joe advice about money finances and Investment on: June 03, 2023, 03:59:01 PM
Average Joe may not have any idea about the concept of investment, all the go for savings which is eventually a stupid thing to do beyond some point cause the purchasing power of money will always decrease due to inflation so first they need to know what is investment. And nothing comes without the efforts and knowledge so if they want to invest they need to know what they are about to invest or else they will lose their money to scammers and that's how the scammers are still looting money from average Joe.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Intriguing article: How to Perfect Your Gambling Strategy on: June 02, 2023, 08:10:31 PM
Nah! It doesn't work in that way because how can you master in slots or dice or crash game or any casino games?

So you can practice the management to improve it but you can never be able to make a winning strategy. So those points are actually the process involved in safe gambling so it's kind of being responsible strategy.
1103  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEWBIES: A good way to start-up with crypto. on: June 02, 2023, 06:12:10 PM
No one can learn from others' experiences, go experience it yourself and write your own journey. Do not copy. Do not emphasis someone's learning in your life.
Not everyone's life is the same, and so does the experiences.

Go try out everything you need in Cryptoverse and once you start making mistakes, you will understand that you are growing.
Because the one who does not do mistakes, never learns.
We certainly can learn from others experience if we are smart enough, I don't really want to risk everything on my own so I will look for the review, feedbacks from the others who already experienced it. And that is why we have forum like platforms where everyone share their information which might be helpful for someone else.

But we can't understand everything without trying it on our own so we need to be smart as well as cautious when it comes to money.
1104  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Danger of posting your bitcoin address online on: June 02, 2023, 04:50:33 PM
It will not cause any danger unless you also exposes the private keys but it definitely a concern for privacy, and anyone can track all the transactions and balance and if someone you know personally know about these then it's definitely a big problem. So don't ever expose even the address for any reason so that your privacy won't be compromised at all.
1105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management on: June 02, 2023, 04:07:05 PM

_ Don't risk too much money, start with what you can afford to risk. Focus on the risk not rewards.

This is why we need to understand the process something called risk: reward ratio.

You can't always focus on the risk part and if you do you can't never make money, sometimes you lose and sometimes you win and that's the reality of trading profession but minimising the loss with stop loss can save you from sudden loss like 30% price fall over short time period.
1106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical analysis a must know in crypto trading? on: June 01, 2023, 08:03:37 PM
No.

But if you're planning to become a trader then acquiring knowledge about it can be helpful in case if you need. To learn this you can just start with YouTube and practice what you saw in demo trading accounts and if increases your consistency then just keep learning and become a master at it.
1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: BTC transaction confirmed but the amount havent changed on: June 01, 2023, 05:18:13 PM
I tried with VPN, re-installing the wallet, other internet connections and nothing.
Now I switched to Electrum and I always keep the device turned off, I only turn it on if I need to get my BTCs out of this wallet (Offline yet)
You're keeping it offline for what? To be safe from malwares?

You can also create watch only wallet so you no need to access the wallet or use the blockchain explorers, simply it works like a wallet except you can access the funds via watch only mode.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which New Technology will be adopted by the Gambling Industry? on: June 01, 2023, 03:29:58 PM
VR isn't new and to my best of knowledge it exists even before a decade so it's kind of old and the modern version of VR is the metaverse which might bring a change to the whole online community not just only the gambling industry and AI can be adopted as well so whatever the technology arrives and if the business demands it then just adapt it. AI gambling doesn't sound good to me so I'll go with VR or anything better than it.
1109  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Any exchanges that are sweeping unconfirmed funds with CPFP?? on: June 01, 2023, 02:16:26 PM
First of all no exchange will pay from their pocket to make your transaction to be confirmed, and never expect that to happen in the future either.

Using LN maybe a choice but its not going to be simple pie for everyone and not every wallet support LN channel so if some of them are using wallet that doesn't support LN they need to switch to another wallet that support it and it's a lot of work to do.
1110  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Bitcoin is Future? How I'm invest and earn from it on: May 31, 2023, 03:33:43 PM
Bitcointalk is a community forum that focuses on Bitcoin/crypto. You simply use Bitcointalk if you're interested in talking about Bitcoin/crypto — that's pretty much it. The same reason how you might join a photography social media group if you're really interested in photography.
Well explained Great I'm very much interested in Bitcoin Crypto and start my learning in bitcointalk I thing its a great platform for solving problems and investing in Bitcoin. I hope I will learn it very easily and also start my earning by trading in bitcoin. Thanks
Just visited your profile and it seems you're in a hurry to make posts? Lots of things happened in 1 hour time frame in your post history.

If your intention is actually to learn something then you wouldn't be keep making posts, just reading itself might gave you enough answers of all your questions so stick to it and keep reading to get familiar with the Bitcoin, trading or whatever things you wanted to know.
1111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 31, 2023, 02:05:25 PM
Snip~

Did you get rich by trading without knowledge? And are you guiding and advising people to trade without knowledge? From what you said, trading is very simple, why is the win rate in trading so low, if not extremely low? I have seen many wealthy people, change their lives by holding for a long time, but really I have not seen anyone make a lot of money from trading with only a few hundred dollars and without knowledge.
If trading is so easy to make money, I advise all unemployed, homeless people to join the trade, and then they will make a decent amount of money. That way, they don't need to go to work or sleep on the street because money is easy to earn.
I didn't say I became rich by crypto trading without having any knowledge about it but to start we don't need that extensive knowledge, if we just stick to the basic of buy low and sell high you can make money so that is better than starving to death due to unemployment.

Trading is easy though, but being consistent in making profits is not possible for anyone well anyone can start trading with few dollars, a smartphone and internet then why still millions out there are not doing it? Cause they're ignorant about trading.

And I bet 95% of this world population unaware that something called trading stocks, forex or crypto exists.
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator. Does it Work or Just Another Hype? on: May 31, 2023, 12:10:51 PM
When it's free and viabtc is only offering it for free then don't be surprised that not every one who tried acceleration didn't find it successful whereas paid ones will work but they are too expensive than paying the highest transaction fee on the congestion so it's not a solution for campaign manager to save fees and the possible solution is to use bech32 address which saves fee and biweekly can be good option too.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not a steady income haven on: May 31, 2023, 10:34:09 AM
Gambling places are not for steady income, if you want steady income with gambling, online or offline, you have to be a owner, build your own casino and watch yourself growing up into a filthy rich billionaire.

FYI, being the owner doesn't guarantee you that rich life style and there are many examples even in the crypto casino market stopped their service due to not making enough money, they might say other reasons for shutting down but you can't avoid the fact even to be a successful casino owner you need to be successful.

Gambling isn't a job either so anyone with the idea of getting rich via gambling also need to remember the fact it happens to one in a million.
1114  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: May 30, 2023, 05:46:08 PM
I would like to point out the one important phase that every full time trader is going through which is turning into anti social, because the nature of job is just sit and do analysis and make your money it also applies to all kinds of full time trades but it's more visible in cryptocurrency because personally my lifestyle changed but not to any extreme still I can feel the difference which I will say definitely a sacrifice. Because more we become anti social then there 8s high chance of getting stress, anxiety and others so if someone doing it as full time job then never forget to take an off day.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 30, 2023, 12:41:32 PM
Investing in Bitcoin is highly risky when we expect short term returns so it makes not really suitable for someone who is not stable in their financial status. But if they have nothing to lose then why not give it a try cause trading can be started with less capital which makes its possible for everyone to start, so it can be a good thing to have side hustle and for people with huge capital it can become revenue generator with no effort at all.

For someone with nothing to lose, how would they invest or trade? I have never heard any miracle story that a person with no knowledge and no money can profit from trading. As far as I know to make money from trading, many people take a year or a few years of learning, accepting losses before they can make a profit. The idea of introducing bitcoin to the unemployed was already a bad idea, made worse by discouraging them from looking for income-generating jobs but instead directing them to trading. It's gambling, not investing.
You can't be so broke that you don't even able to hold a hundred or two and that's what I meant as nothing to lose situation. You know trading is simple because the secret of success is simple as buy low and sell high. As you said it may take years for someone to master but I remember the old days of mine made decent money straight away when I started without having any technical analysis skills just focusing on BTC to fiat and vice versa.
1116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: May 30, 2023, 03:34:02 AM
Hi there is a lot of talk about finding opportunities to make a x10 or a x100.

But I think it is easier to make a x10 by selling short...any tips to get the best ROI possible by selling short?

How can I know which coins would have earned me x10 if I had sold short in the last few months?

It's possible but not possible to hit everyday, it may happen on an very odd day for someone but that amount of ROI isn't realistic and you should never be focusing on such things, instead of that just go by the old school way like aiming 5% for a day which itself high in reality but compared to 1000% then 5% seems quite reasonable. Cheesy
5% every day is a very good achievement, within a month you have earned 150%, and if that is fulfilled then it becomes a very good business to live in. however, in mathematical calculations it may not be as good as in reality, sometimes we also have unlucky days, where what we do is always wrong, therefore it would be good for everyone to assess themselves, with their abilities, what percentage targets are logical for run as our portfolio
Rather 5% isn't possible to achieve either on everyday, I just used it as contrary value which is 1000% in OP's proposal. Well the actual realistic value we can Target is 10 or 20% a month I mean increasing the crypto portfolio figures not just the value so over the time along with the trend of bull the profits will also be quite heavy.

1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: dark theme on: May 28, 2023, 03:14:32 PM
If you're not okay with extensions then use Opera which has night mode as a built in feature and for God's sake today only I noticed it very good to use than other dark modes which I used in the past to filter blue and not harming my eyes. Dark mode in Opera is giving good details than others and also you have settings to dim the brightness of the keyboard as well in case if you're a mobile user.

That's it for now and I will add more if I found anything interesting.

P.S I am writting this in dark mode on Opera browser.
1120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would these two wallets be equally hard to brute force attack? on: May 28, 2023, 11:16:21 AM
.
.
.
It's worth pointing out that this is entirely academical and both scenarios are completely impossible before the death of the sun.

This post clearly explains what is the possibility while trying brute forcing 24words seed phrase/recovery phrase. I have been going through many articles about this for almost 30 minutes and none of them gave such clear explanation as this so kudos for your explanation and technical knowledge.

But what I remember is even brute forcing the 12 words seed phrase is close to impossible so we don't need to worry about the 24 words.
