Psychologically, when a person asks a lot of questions in a passive aggressive manner such as you've exhibited on numerous occasions, it's typically a sign of narcissism.  You don't just want to tell us what you think and why that makes you smarter, you'd rather belabor the point and first ask us what we think before you can 'set us straight.'

Is this actually happening?  I would be surprised if it was.  I mean, when people want to cash out I can see them using another exchange.  But, if someone buys bitcoins, they wouldn't just transfer them right away to sell them. That'd be stupid (i.e. skip buying in the first place and just hold the fiat, and then avoid losing 5-10% on withdrawal).  I think that people would be more inclined to keep their cash on gox because that's where the volume is, and thus trading is immensely better.

The price has been consistently lower on other exchanges whether or not gox is having issues, particularly exchanges to which it is difficult to deposit fiat.

Btc-e is typically lower due to extreme difficulty getting fiat into and out of the exchange.  If it takes hours + several % in transfer fees, it makes sense that it's lower.  I can't speak for other exchanges.

It's sometimes mandated that the dog is euthanized in these cases, which is an interesting conclusion that would seem to follow a contradictory line of reasoning.  Assuming a dichotomy, either this line of reasoning suggests that the dogs are 'guilty' of some wrongdoing and are deserving of death, or that some dogs have simply been 'trained poorly' by their owners and are presumed incapable of being reverse-trained quickly by their owner or anyone else.  If the former is true, then the slippery slope has already begun.  If the latter is true, then the slippery slope has already begun in a different way; it implies that even something that isn't "autonomous enough" can be deserving of punishment.

Late as fuck, but it arrived in full working order.  Josh @ BFL is an obvious douche and probably cost the company millions in potential profits.  I've thought about contacting a lawyer to see if it would be possible to file a legal claim against BFL for lost earnings due to having to wait so long for product shipment.  If I'm having a bad day, making that call sounds more and more appealing.

Primecoin uses a (almost) linearly-adjusting difficulty algorithm for a chain of length k.  Difficulty is determined by dividing a given prime chain's length by the remainder of the results of a Fermat test.

If prime chain = P₀, P₁, P₂....P_k-1, length = k, and r = test results, then difficulty = P_k/r

Then, compute prime chain length with a fractional length segment...

d = k + (p_k-r)/p_k

If prime chain length exhibits probable primality, it is a chain of higher integral length.  Difficulty then adjusts according to integral boundaries.

The chain is linked with the block header under the requirement that it is origin is divisible by the block header hash.  What results is a proof-of-work certificate that prevents old work from being reused for future blocks.
