2021  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 03, 2021, 02:53:34 AM
I don't know if this counts but back when I was still gambling a lot, I always go to a gambling den/house before going to school and wouldn't you know it, one time I was 30 minutes on the first subject because the game got heated and intense that I forgot what time it is, it was worth getting late because I got a big money.
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: EFFECTIVE INVESTING STRATEGIES on: May 02, 2021, 02:20:42 AM

Very good advice, if we have never invested in cryptocurrency, we should start holding with Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is indeed the safest to buy,
don't be confused about choosing other coins that are not necessarily safe to buy. I also believe that if someone manages to make a profit
by investing in Bitcoin, he will also find it easier to get profit on other coins. We have to be patient investing in cryptocurrency, don't rush into
investing in lots of coins and hoping to get a big profit. Because no investment success in the crypto world is obtained instantly, it is necessary
to go through a long process.
Even though you think that it is a good advice, you still have to take it with a grain of salt, what worked for me might not work for you and I would really feel shitty if someone followed my advice to the heart and they failed miserably because I feel like I owe a part of them from failing so take everything on the Internet with a grain of salt no matter how good it is. Really depends which crypto you are hodling because some might take years before being profitable.
2023  Economy / Economics / Re: “You don’t spend money now, you can’t spend after you died” on: May 01, 2021, 10:17:16 AM
That's a really good mindset spend everything in a day and don't leave something for tomorrow because you are scared that you might die the next day. Imagine if everyone has this kind of thinking, we probably have a lot of people not being well to do in terms of finance because they are scared that tomorrow might not arrive. My advice is to embrace your mortality OP, everyone is going to die someday and if it is your time, don't worry about it, our love for life should be stronger than our fear of death.
2024  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Solstarter Token Sale[Scam please be aware] on: May 01, 2021, 09:19:45 AM
I actually checked it first and saw that they are not yet on the stage on token selling so it's immediately a red flag. I'm sad that people didn't even check or did their own research first before investing.
Maybe the reason was that they have employed slick tongued charlatans to promote their token to make it look like they are really promising something good. We know that a lot of people are too polite to refuse people that knows their way with words. And they might've ride with the current run of a lot of cryptocurrency so it did look legitimate.
2025  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: iranian governement and cyber police thinks that i am thief! on: May 01, 2021, 08:41:40 AM
If the issue has moved to the legal plane and a court decision has already been made, the first thing you need to do is file an appeal. Study the court's decision and ruling carefully. See what arguments they took into account and if they missed anything. If you manage to initiate the process again, you should contact another lawyer who, in turn, should get good advice on the technical part of the process from a cryptocurrency expert. It is also worth attracting technical support for the wallet in question. 2 bitcoins is not a small amount - fight for your truth!
This would be the best advice in my opinion, but my advice to OP is that you have to follow what your lawyer says, no matter how feasible the advice is on the Internet, always take it with a grain of salt, these advice aren't legal advice.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bret Lee Bitcoin charity For India" on: May 01, 2021, 06:01:09 AM
~
There are many campaign for charity already on this forum and they are very good because of the high transperancy and number of participant. When you run a charity program, there must be a person or a group of people who know how to arrange everything in a good order while still provide the evidence. This evidence will inspire other to join in any form (such as being a volunteer or donate money/crypto)
But they didn't last that long and a lot of users are skeptic as to whether they are really using the donation right or they are profiting out of it. I hope that we will see more of this kind of donation/charity drives in this forum because we have to make a good face for bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

My phone which is POCO X3 Pro has a mic on keyboard so you can use TTS(Text to Speech) feature whenever you want to use it. Maybe try to get a phone or a tablet so you can have more space for keyboard typing.
2028  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your bet? how many years could bitcoin go to its highest? on: May 01, 2021, 04:32:01 AM
2024 maybe because of bitcoin halving but not usually at that exact time when bitcoin halving. Usually have a delay like 1-6 months before bitcoin bullish.
That's how volatile it is, we don't know if we have to wait for the next halving for the next ATH or the next months to come, that is why it is a good practice to accumulate bitcoin as early as possible because you never know when will the next big pump in the prices is going to happen.
2029  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: May 01, 2021, 03:46:15 AM
What you share has no basis, it's only based on your personal opinion but I'm not saying it's impossible.

Actually, I'm doing the same, I'm waiting until bitcoin will drop, and then I will not anymore miss the opportunity to buy.
Let's not follow or ride the FOMO, there's always a good opportunity and that is when there's a huge panic.
You never know what happens next maybe the price won't go where you want it and you can't buy bitcoin because it continues to go up so you end up not riding the hypetrain because you waited for an opportunity that never came, just get in.
2030  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price end of year? on: May 01, 2021, 03:03:37 AM
My estimate is ...

$120,000K.

I've been pretty accurate in prior years. Lets see!
Can you quote your predictions and the date that you predicted the prices because it won't be accurate if you just said X prices with no definite timeline, that isn't prediction but assumption
2031  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin the best one to invest in? Or am i too late? :( on: May 01, 2021, 02:14:29 AM
If you looking for a long term investment, there is nothing too late if invest in Bitcoin, but if you looking for short or mid term investment, Altcoin is better than Bitcoin, Out there a lot of altcoins still sleep and if the time comes it will be pumped, so find it and invest your money there, and remember diversification your investment
Better if you focus on bitcoin first before branching towards other altcoins because there is a big sea.of altcoin out there and it is difficult to find the right in the pile of trash so you better have a strong foundation before finding other means to make money.
2032  Economy / Economics / Re: Will China take over the world with the Digital Yuan? on: May 01, 2021, 01:30:37 AM
Let's just see what it can do and I am sure that it will be difficult because I believe that Digital Yuan is going to be an exclusive thing in China not to mention that they plan to dissolve it when you don't use it for a long time so as to keep a certain limit circulating the economy, not a good thing hodl.
2033  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: April 30, 2021, 11:59:45 AM

Logistics is a problem because the mRNA vaccines need deep-freezing. The vaccine from Pfizer/BioNTech needs to be stored at −70ºC. The Sputnik V vaccine also needs to be stored at -18ºC. The developing nations may be having the facilities to store the vaccine at such low temperatures, but we can't expect the poorer nations to have tens of thousands of such deep-freezers. And it's not just storing. Transporting the vaccine at such low temperatures can also be a problem.
That's the exact problem that my country is facing right now besides being incompetent, there is no storage facility that is going to cater the right temperature and the only ones don't even meet the exact number. Transport to provinces is problematic but it can be managed.
2034  Economy / Economics / Re: EFFECTIVE INVESTING STRATEGIES on: April 30, 2021, 10:42:33 AM
The most effective is the Hold, but the object you hold in between will determine the destiny of success or failure.  And it's hard to find the best coins, I mean nice new projects with infinite profitability.
You can start your hodling with bitcoin and when you get a big profit from it then you will slowly branch out with other coins, try to concentrate on investment first before doing a diversification. If you are hodling some obscure coins and projects then you will have to risk losing for a miniscule chance that it will be the right investment, try to go for safer coins first before venturing other obscure projects so you have some support in the case that it the project isn't successful.
2035  Economy / Economics / Re: The One World Currency: Is it Bitcoin? on: April 30, 2021, 09:58:34 AM
We still don't have one world currency because we still don't have a one-world government, every government for every country has a different look for the different currency, bitcoin as one world currency is possible but it would take so much time before it happens, a lot of things should be considered first before they consider it as a one-world currency, we should have stable internet first and a good knowledge before we have a bitcoin as a one-world currency.
I don't think that a one world government is going to work though, there will be people that will oppose its implementation because they know that when there is a centralized government, corruption and tyranny is going to set in. One world currency on the other hand can work, euro is a good example, it works in EU and there seems to be no problem, so in short it doesn't need to have a one government to have a one currency.
2036  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 30, 2021, 09:16:50 AM
Yes they can sell their bitcoins, it's just that they are on the long-term so it doesn't look like they are going to sell, they get in bitcoin to profit so why can't they sell their bitcoin.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversifying with REITs - buy a prison :) on: April 30, 2021, 08:31:18 AM
I wouldn't say that I didn't hear about REITs but never got to know about a real REIT company which can be entrusted with my money. If someone can redirect me to a proper REIT company (a genuine one) then I would try that route as well.

However, there are many HYIPs are running into the market in the disguise of real estate investment. So it is really difficult to find a genuine. Also do they accept investment from any country of the world? Or do they have any special requirement?
There might be some investment firms in your country that might be able to redirect you to someone that offers REIT, I wanted to get in to REIT too but I still have a lot of priorities to do and save enough money to get a decent return when I finally invest in it.
2038  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla's Q1 SEC Reveale holding $2.48 Billion Bitcoin on: April 30, 2021, 07:54:57 AM
Why should I read the full article? You already gave us the TLDR: Tesla didn't sell their bitcoins and still hold lots of bitcoins. The dump wasn't caused by Elon.

Is there any other critical information in that article? I thought so too, no.

Hopefully he will keep holding it.
Knowing how whales and institutional investors hodl their bitcoins, I am sure that it will be a long time before they are going to sell bitcoin. To OP, you could've made a little less in your TLDR so that they checked your article but since it is a little too late, I guess that this is a lesson learned.
2039  Other / Meta / Re: Post Deletion on: April 30, 2021, 07:16:07 AM
Sometimes the replies of our thread won't be deleted but our post deleted just because it was reported and it ma feel like a biased decision but it may happen since moderator cannot analyze everything in a thread comparing to the number of repots they are getting every day.
That could probably be the case, in my opinion it is better if we just up our quality. And the quote above is right, there is a lot of reports and so little amount of mods so I don't think that they are going to be able to sift through it thoroughly.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Communities on: April 30, 2021, 06:42:39 AM
I think we can consider a Bitcoin community for those people with services/products that are accepting Bitcoin as payments.
The best example here is online, a lot of online stores/services now are accepting Bitcoin as payment, such as online stores. So, for me, if unit these entities that accepting Bitcoin, we can consider it as a community.
There isn't any meaningful interactions in online stores that accepts bitcoin as payment so I disagree that it is a community. For me, something is considered a community if there is a social interaction between other users.
