I gotta say my remaining 790$ PayPal pledge is withdrawn from the table!

I'm having some nice offers to make a nice profit on bulk purchases, and I'm taking them up.

I will convert the remaining pledge into the equivalent FIAT BTC value.
2062  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why People Are Not Honest. on: October 13, 2017, 11:23:48 AM
Can I ask why people are not honest. As in, why is it that people don't keep to their words even when they can do so? Can't I just do business with someone without signing papers and get lawyers and witnesses and still keep to my words? Can't we get trustworthy people anymore?

Because words are wind being released from our mouths.

What matters is actions, not words.

If a person has dealt previously in trustworthy manner, he's more likely to continue acting so.

If he hasn't, he most probably won't.

Actions matter, not words.
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paid Sports Betting Tips - Follow My Tips And Get RICH!!! on: October 13, 2017, 11:17:11 AM
Win rate doesn't guarantee anything! You can have win rate of 90% and odds 1.1 and still be at loss. On the other hand, I could predict only 20% winners but with average odds 6.00 and I would be in profit.

I gotta agree with Janinjo here
What matters is profit, not win rate

You could just play 1.01-1.5 games and crack up the numbers

Profit > Win rate

I mean, we need someone who speaks russian for this
But it's a huge difference, because the gas boilers won't be produced on their land
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulated Cryptocurrency Betting Just Got a Big Boost in Europe on: October 12, 2017, 11:56:29 PM
Europeans do have more freedom in regulated gambling than americans do, that's for sure. In some states in the USA its illegal to play fantasy sports games like fanduel or draftkings. Those sites ban IP's and do some background checks to ensure compliance. It stems from Las Vegas billionaires who run casinos being able to influence politicians into passing anti gambling laws, in an effort to maintain the monopoly over gambling Vegas has inside the united states.

That said, I'm not certain if regulated gambling has many advantages over unregulated. I think some regulated online sportsbooks have been known not to honor big winning bets. That's one advantage Vegas might have, they're legally obligated to honor winnings. Europe is so much better for gambling than the united states is, though. There are many more options.

The thing is, online you have provable fairness, yeah, sure, a website might deny your payment
But in Vegas, you won't even get there, since there's no fairness!
Any bet you place, and roll you take, it might be rigged
And it's not a story

2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of truly instant and anonymous bitcoin casinos v2 on: October 12, 2017, 10:20:01 PM
Listing instant deposit casinos makes sense.

Casinos are anonymous as much as you make them, if you're using a VPN and Tor with High security on Java, you're good to go.
The only thing they could do to invade your privacy was to require ID verification in order to process your withdrawal, though that won't happen unless you violate their ToS since it would chase off consumers.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best way to quit gambling and start trading?? on: October 12, 2017, 10:11:20 PM
Well, for once, in gambling the odds are against you.
In trading there is no house to eat up your profit (well, there are scammers, though there are the same in gambling) and you can actually master the skill of investing in crypto with enough time, while playing dice or slots etc. there is no skill element that will give you an edge over others

If you want it, you just need to do it
Tell yourself, in trading there is skill and there is no house edge
And just do it.

2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots Strategies? on: October 12, 2017, 09:59:36 PM
Slots are one of the most risky casino games that exists, because they all are programmed and you will lose your money anyway, you can not apply any strategy in there since you only have to press "spin" button in order to make it run, not like it happens on roulette, poker, or hold'm all, because in there you need some skill and some luck, but slost are 100% pure luck.

I kinda agree, but there was something I used to do
Something like, if I didn't win anything 3-4 times in a row, I increase my bet and then when I win I reset it
Sort of martingale, but just for slots  Cheesy

After some time I've stumbled upon this thread recently, seeing my 1.45BTC profit, I've decided to give it a go again.
I'll be using a unit of 0.01BTC (as I did previously)

Basketball:

Sacramento Kings - Los Angeles Clippers 1
Odds: 3.05
Units: 2/10

Dallas Mavericks - Atlanta Hawks 2
Odds: 1.44
Units: 6/10

Tennis:

Bencic B. - Buzarnescu M. 1
Units: 4/10
Odds: 1.53
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paid Sports Betting Tips - Follow My Tips And Get RICH!!! on: October 12, 2017, 07:56:55 PM

In your excel sheet you have a column that states "STAKE". What does this stake refer to? 1 stake = $1 or 1 stake = 1 BTC? Give me an idea of how much you are putting on the table as that'll help me with the decision of joining or not.

Stakes or units are usually used in the betting community in order to track profit.
Each bettor sets his own stake

I have once explained this here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=841966.0

If I'm using a 0.01BTC stake, you can use a 10BTC stake or a 0.00001BTC stake, doesn't matter
Profit is therefore calculated in % (stakes) and not in BTC or FIAT, so people who bet a lot and who bet low can set stakes according to their bank

I know what stakes are, but I would liket o know what he is betting. I would never follow someones tips if they are betting 0.00001BTC per stake and so on. That was why my question was aimed at OP and not anyone else Smiley.

Why does it matter?
As long he's turning a consistent profit in stakes, following him will yield you a very nice profit
He could just lie about the size of his stake anyway o.o

How long does the subscription last?
Forgotten to mention that, thanks, but the subscription lasts for 3 months.

Sweet, I didn't notice either until you wrote you'll do the 2-3 weeks for credibility and said you're selling memberships still  Cheesy
Do you have any proof of you placing the bets that are in the OP?

why 20/20?

It's 20/20 spots available

In your excel sheet you have a column that states "STAKE". What does this stake refer to? 1 stake = $1 or 1 stake = 1 BTC? Give me an idea of how much you are putting on the table as that'll help me with the decision of joining or not.

So if my default stake is 0.01BTC and play a 2.5 odds bet, I'll win 0.025BTC
Let's say your stake is 1BTC and you play the same bet, you'll win 2.5BTC

The profit in both bets is 2.5 stakes, because in bet 1, your stake is 0.01BTC and you have won 0.025BTC, that's 2.5 stakes
In bet 2, you bet 1BTC and win 2.5BTC, you win 2.5 stakes, understand what I'm saying?
