1101  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Apartment Loan on: April 13, 2018, 08:15:47 PM
The BTC mining farm deal fell through.

So I'm bumping this thread.

Willing to escrow ~7BTC for a 38 000€ loan.

Quote
roll 1.111 and betID must end with 1,
roll 2.222 and betID must end with 2,
roll 3.333 and betID must end with 3,
roll 4.444 and betID must end with 4,
roll 5.555 and betID must end with 5.
Example of winning roll: 4.444 with BetID 2,154,290,004
Each roll will be awarded once.
Must be a winning bet.
Dice BetID must be 2,154,290,000 or higher.
Rewards:
bet equal or above 0.00001 BTC = 0.0007 BTC reward
bet equal or above 0.0001 BTC = 0.007 BTC reward
bet equal or above 0.001 BTC = 0.07 BTC reward

Some calculations for hunters

Odds of hitting a winning roll & a bet ID
are 1 : 20 000

On average you'll hit a winning reward each 20 000 bets
If you bet a 0.0001BTC, you'll roll 2 BTC in bets
With a 0.8% edge, on average you'd lose 0.016BTC
The reward is 0.007BTC

Which means, if you're hunting the reward, you'll decrease the house edge from 0.8% to 0.45% Smiley

Mm I thought you need a bit more bets:

1/100000 * 1/10 + 1/100000 * 1/10 + 1/100000 * 1/10 + 1/100000 * 1/10 + 1/100000 * 1/10 = 0.000005 so 1 / 0.000005 = 200,000 bets?

Yepp.
I fucked up.
It's 1: 200 000, not 1: 20 000
1103  Other / Meta / Re: Croatian local - new child board request - moderator request on: April 13, 2018, 12:23:03 PM
Or just get rid of that alt coin board and then you probably don't even need a mod.

What makes you think people won't post altcoin threads because there isn't an altcoin board?

The subforum would just get drowned in unrelated threads without any organization.
We'd report the topics to the moderators which mostly wouldn't understand what's been said in the threads since they don't understand the language.
And the owners would get their threads deleted for posts that ARE crypto related, just not BTC related.

If you look at the Croatian section right now, you'll see this

http://prntscr.com/j4qxu0

All the topics I've outlined are not related to Bitcoin.
And if they're moved in the Altcoin section, they'd just get drowned among all the ANN threads.

The Croatian section is relatively active, perhaps not as much as some of the others but we're active and growing.
And there certainly is interest in altcoins and in BTC, however, some are only interested in 1 of those and the threads we'd be willing to read get lost among all other threads.

Organization is the only thing we're asking.
We don't preferr scrolling through a hundred ANN threads to find the 1 altcoin thread we were looking for.
Nor we preferr having the main subforum area filled with altcoin threads.

It's not a hard thing to do, to add an ANN section but it'd make a lot of people lives a lot easier.

I think you will be earning close to 1.5K-2K on that bet.
50K xvg * price after dump = close to $1500-2000
Interesting to see if any vergetard is willing to risk this much  Grin

Don't get me wrong, I'm heavily invested in XVG
But, these people are dense

So, I'm going to repeat this offer so more people see it.

For those claiming PayPal or Amazon are going to accept XVG
I'll bet 100 000 XVG versus your 50 000 XVG that none of those 2 are going to partner with Verge on the 17th
Escrow accepted.

what would be the bet against my prediction that on 17th the announcement gets canceled and/or moved to a later date?

Hm.
Guess you'll have to find someone to place that bet.

Well, I keep seeing these PP, Amazon replies, here, on reddit, even in articles!
For fuks sake.

This is probably going to silence them Smiley
If they're so sure it should be PayPal, they'll take the bet.
But they won't, since they aren't sure, they're just shilling.
And that kind of shilling isn't good, because people are going to expect more than they'll actually get.

I'll make it a bit better though.

100 000 Verge saying nor PayPal nor Amazon are going to accept Verge
You only need to put up 20 000 XVG against me Smiley

Bump!

Only 50$ with free shipping.
Would that include free shipping to Australia?

Yes Smiley

Ok, i will probably take it then, payment will have to be in BCH

What type of shipping though, i am worried that these prints could be damaged during shipping

If this is a limited edition print of only 50, is there any type of certificate verifying this?

No problem, I can take any alt Smiley

I guarantee a refund if they come damaged.

I'll make some certificates in the following days Smiley

Which means, if you're hunting the reward, you'll decrease the house edge from 1% to 0.3%
Now the bad news for you is (the good news for people playing at CG): The house edge is never 1% to start with.
Dice has a 0.8% house edge, (almost) always had.

(you might also wanna recheck the remainder of your calculations).

Sorry, edited.
My bad.
I haven't gambled on dice a lot on CG, only bankroll...
0.45% is pretty decent.

Some of us are here because we used the 10$ free offer from Truegame, so I'm writing this for those that aren't up to date

The final sale is happening on 16th April
After it, I'm assuming we can expect some major volume to fill up the games we played and finally get the draws we've been waiting for, for so long  Cheesy

And btw

I'm stuck at 80% on Crypto Legends for a couple of minutes now xD

http://prntscr.com/j4hkq3

And I can't find it in my history of transactions if I open a new tab

Just refreshed, guess it has to come to the reveal screen so I can find it in my history

Aaaand it's stuck at 80% again

Yepp, can't roll it

I'm 95% sure I typed to right password a couple of times.

I use the same password all the time for my FJ account.

Well, you win 5BTC for starters  Cheesy

PayPal won't partner with BTC. Exactly.
Why would it partner with Verge?

Yeah, because I keep reading Amazon, PayPal, eBay.
People are going to be disappointed because of retarded posts like that.

It's not PayPal.

ebay has terminated its partnership with paypal and will work with Adyen in the future. Maybe Adyen is considering a partnership with xvg. For Paypal, switching from ebay means a loss, maybe they are looking for a new foothold in the crypto world

Now that's a bit more realistic.

paypal would never get a deal with bitcoin in the first place. are you going crazy right now? also why should i bet with you about paypal being the partner or not? what do i accomplish? i never stated that i know its 100% paypal..so it makes no sense form me to take this bet. i dont need to prove anything btu you seem to..i wonder why

a few posts ago you said you dont have any sources that its not paypal..yet you claim again its not paypal without any claims/proof.

i guess you are a troll. i am done with you

lets see what happens on the 17th.

If you really believe it's PayPal, take my bet Smiley

Let's make it a bit less

I'll put up a 100 000 XVG, you can put up 50 000
If it's PayPal you win my 100 000
If it's not I win 50 000.

Escrowed.

as far as i understood , are tokenpay working together with "deutsche bank" in order to release debit cards wtih verge being the choosen currency.

re the verge partnership: i read somewhere that the partner is a payment provider...so it will never be deutsche bank or fidor bank. fidor bank isnt that huge , detusche bank on the other hand is a monster in germany(and not only germany), but i dont think they partner with verge.

i remember sunerok said in a video, that everyone knows the company...my wildest guess would be paypal. i see it as the only big well known company/payment provider to take such a deal.

imo  verge is a "solid" project with a huge twitter follower base...big companies looking out for such things as social media presence. tell me another coin who has such a presence, is still in a low price range and could make such a deal happen. i dont see many to be honest.

but whatever, lets see what the 16th/17th has in store for us.

Why would PayPal accept Verge out of all cryptocurrencies out there?
It's not fucking PayPal.

PayPal doesn't care about privacy nor does it care about cryptocurrency and if it did, it would accept Bitcoin, not Verge.

It's not PayPal and it's not Amazon.
Take another guess.

it was mentioned, that the potential partner did not choose verge because  its a privacy coin but rather because of their follower base on social media/community. i never mentioned amazon, you said that. i also dont think its them, but paypal is plausible.

but reading your post, your are pretty sure its not paypal..do you have any source/links for this statement?

cheers

You didn't but some others have.

I'm pretty sure Bitcoin has a larger follower base than XVG.
Nothing to prove it's not PayPal except for common sense.

I can place a 5BTC wager with you with a trusted escrow whether it's PayPal or not.
Or whatever amount you're comfortable with.

The question isn't why someone else doesn't do this but why CrazyLoaf won't.

Loaf isn't an admin of CK afaik, the guys who took over control of the Game and froze Risto's accounts after depo debt problems were sirjacket, monermooo & HMC. Probably more a matter of can't than won't as far as Loaf making changes to legacy CK, so it makes sense for Loaf to avoid more frustration from repeatedly trying to suggest things that weren't agreed to, and just move on to a new game where he is actually an admin and has some authority to implement his ideas.

edit: if the 3 current CK admins decided to try and deal with Risto's debts in another way and reboot the Game I would support that effort

If he's doing a fork, he's carrying over the same issues over there.

They don't disappear.
