2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 05, 2023, 05:04:11 PM
if you have a professional approach with gambling (it means you study seriously a lot of information and play with a lot of caution) yes definitely gambling become a real profession/way to live.
But earn decent amount isn't easy at all. I have seen some statistics that show an average earn around 5-15% of total amount wagered.
E.G. You need to play 100K usd in one year just to earn a normal wage for western countries... if you think it's like any other job around here. it requires time, effort, experience, ability to learn, passion and much much more.

2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambler has 100% trust in each stake on: March 05, 2023, 08:30:19 AM
In the game of sports, winners are always categorized based on the team with the highest performance. For example, in English football (EPL), Arsenal Football Club and Manchester City are seen to have good tactical skills, making them stand out as winners in each of their games. Therefore, a gambler establishes trust in those teams because they have won almost 88% of their games. The gambler stakes high on each of these teams because they believe that the money invested in each team will bring out good returns.

The same thing goes for when a gambler wants to stake on players. They must know the performance of that particular player before any trust can be established. For example, Harland of Manchester City is known for goal-scoring, and Saka of Arsenal is known for good finishing. This is how trust in gambling is established, although this trust sometimes fails.

My question now is, As a gambler would you give 100% to a stake that you trust?

You cannot place 100% of your stake in the same team/event. Sometimes happens but is always a mistake.
About the first part of your topic, I think it's an issue having such approach, just because you're evaluating team on "papers" and not the real condition taking in account the complexity of tournament, player condition, opponents and more more...
2064  Economy / Gambling / Re: We NEED Bitcointalk Members Feedback on Casino Challenges! on: March 05, 2023, 08:27:14 AM
Do you enjoy participating in Casino Challenges? What do you like about them, and what could be improved? Are there any specific types of challenges or rewards that you would like to see?
-yes, I like participate in Casino challenges since it's one of main drive for playing such kind of games and in some cases can "maximize" the profit.
-I like option that give prize to users even if they are not playing "higher" amounts. What could be improved? Maybe these can be linked to some random events in real world, or I think it would be funny have some prize to be assigned also while in play and not only at the end of an event.
-Best rewards is always monetary prize. But i think it could be funny also receive some "badge" specific discount in withdraw, multiplier in some games and some others similar activities ...

well i sold one of the 20 documents for 35 €     and the person confirmed the docs were legit and verified
problem is that i want to sell them in bulk for cheap  for 25 € per set  500 in total

so if this is the way i want to get my loan  who are you to tell me otherwise ?  with all due respect
If there is no one   then so be it   but then i  tried at least

you can only try to get a loan    offcourse nobody can get forced to loan people money  this is certainly not my intentions

it's up to you  if you want to loan someone money or not

wow! so you're offering personal documents as collateral?
this is what you consider a valid collateral?
do you know that stuff like this is illegal in any country and even on this forum it's one of those items that CANNOT be traded FOR OBVIOUS REASONS?

I rarely express certain comments, but seeing your request "I really need the money" (tell me someone who doesn't really need the money!) I confirm that I have never seen such a stupid scammer.

2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people go into gambling? on: March 02, 2023, 07:13:27 PM
Why do people go into gambling?
I asked this question here because I can't get the answer.
However, in my observation, I found out that most people go into gambling because they think that's the easiest way to make big money.
Please is it true?

probably people playing lotteries because they are aspiring in a big win.

but I don't think that people playing sports betting or similar games like blackjack in a casino are trying for the same target since they know very well that is really hard win a millionaire with a couple of bucks Wink
2072  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: March 02, 2023, 06:53:03 PM
this happens to me also using betfair exchange. explanation is really simple.
even if you are following a live match, there is a lag on streaming/result update that is at least of 3-7 seconds.
this lag is designed to adapt live betting to real life usage.
there is nothing you can done to avoid such lag... and yes it happens also with cashout options.
in dozens years of betting online/live, only few times I have seen some errors (like markets keep opens by mistake, late update etc)

an endless saga just to keep making people talk about them.
be careful in some jurisdictions even a verbal agreement or a simple handshake could potentially be valid Wink (there is such a thing here in Italy)...

Therefore, to answer the question "what is the value of a handshake", we must answer by saying that it has the same value as a signature on a sheet of paper, provided that the parties explicitly wanted to commit themselves and not postpone the deed to a later moment definitive.
