2061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 09, 2018, 02:14:04 PM
Binance started almost from no where and have IMO taking the first spot in the space, the team seems to understand the market and have chosen the right market to reside their business won't be surprise to see the likes of Coinhood and Hybrid when ready to share the market  with them
Cobinhood looks an exciting exchange site right now. How the team was applied zero trading fees, but I'm not sure if that will be so long.

To make future development and maintenance of the platform needs more and more money.

Binance CEO said that to make more development progress and more funds are needed. I think that cobinhood will try to think for a twice about zero trading platform.
2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NXT future? on: March 09, 2018, 02:11:08 PM
What is next for NXT?

I am holding this coin for quite some time and it seems that it will just consolidate to its current price for now. Any idea or advice on what will be the future of this coin?
That is my perception regarding NXT, That was using a scalable blockchain but nothing to be used on it. I meant, there is a lot of platforms are not interesting in NXT.

Even though Ignis just bring s little hype for NXT to break $2 rate last month but we know that ignis just such another big fail.

I don't know why that platform needs such fork like ignis at the same time that was having scalable blockchain.
2063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO wallet for NEO-based ICO (NEP-5) on: March 08, 2018, 02:16:32 PM
How to get a NEO wallet for NEO-based ICO (NEP-5 Compatible), where can I get it? Please give your recommendation for a nice and safe wallet. If there is a mobile version, thanks
Neotracker is online web wallet for neo based token. But there are some official wallets from neo foundation but to download the blockchain becomes your responsibility because you will be able to use it after you are downloaded the blockchain. But it's not supported various NEP token. As far as i know NEO foundation never try to develop mobile version of neon wallet.
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As of now - Altcoins that have meet the fastest transaction time on: March 08, 2018, 02:13:44 PM
XRP is extremely quick. We also need to take into account the transaction volumes, as this can affect the speed of a single transaction. A lot of coins to tend to get slower due to congestion.
It's not extremely quick, DAG coins have a better perform rather than ripple with zero fees and instant transaction but the sad thing if that was a centralized system because server controlled by the developer.

Credits (CS) promises more than 1,000,000 transactions per second, with future scalability to 10,000,000 per second

The platform has an Alpha version, so we should wait more for actual results.
In credits alpha and it's still 200k TPS but i'm not sure about that. It seem we need more people to be used the alpha and test everything about that.
2065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is mining ethereum using 6 gpu still profitable as of now? on: March 08, 2018, 05:47:54 AM
As of now it's hard to find a passive income of digital currency. I have read a tutorial about mining ethereum using 6 1070 gpu. The price of each gpu cost a lot. May I ask if making a mining rig of 6 gpu still profitable? And if it does, how much month will i make ROI for it.
Remember about 1 1070 GPu can give you around 28 MH/s But 1070 and 1070ti was different for the result of hashrate power. As the pre increase of ethereum difficulty and that makes the result of ethereum reward to the miners has been decreasing a half. Just a simple math for that. For each GPU you can get 28MH/s and then you have around 6 GPU.
28 x 6 = 168 Mh/s for the total hashrate powers that have owned by you.
I give you a link to the mining calculator from reliable source and that used the latest difficulty of ethereum.
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/eth?HashingPower=168&HashingUnit=MH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=2800&CostPerkWh=0.12&MiningPoolFee=1
It looks like you will get back your ROI after you spend a lot of years to do that. Remember about the next update of ether will be another difficulty increase to support casper pos and i can say don't do that as per Ether will be migrating to the Pos in the future.
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TOMOCOIN best buy right now ? on: March 07, 2018, 02:25:40 PM
Hey everyone what are your thoughts on Tomocoin I just stocked some because it's infrastructure project with only 40M coins in circulations at current price
this is 35M market cap which is just amazing and I believe this is due to being listed only on IDEX for 2 days and not even put in coinmarketcap yet.
Taking into account it will also have master nodes we should see it pick up once listed in bigger exchanges.

TOMO have very low supply and remember that was only reached small amounts from ico. It gives us a lot of chance to get another hype to the tomocoin. This time the price was 3x from the ico price according  to the idex exchange site. That looks good to pick some TOMO. basically masternode coin seems interesting for everyone right now. especially tomo is not greed as other masternode coin.
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify scam ICOs on: March 07, 2018, 02:15:45 PM
Very often on this forum newbies ask how to identify scams, so there is blog on the topic, there are main points which should be interesting to read:

https://icoguide.com/en/blog/how-to-identify-scam-icos

Add your opinions also.

You are forgetting to check the smartcontract code. Try to take any feedback from the community and i think that the community will give a lot of opinion regarding the ico and you can take one that was having high accuracy.
I have seen some people are getting a huge clue about the possibility of scam project from others are doing
2068  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000$ for one Coin on: March 07, 2018, 02:08:51 PM
Dear Members

I am planning to invest 5000$ for a coin. Do not tell put your all money in to one coin. because i have already put some money in that theory also.
please suggest me coins, under 1$ recommended.

Please mention one coin

Credits looks good, And another choice just like tomo and lala. But it seems lala will be listed in 3 exchange sites soon. I will try to predict about early hype for lala. But i guess, you have known about what risk will be involved if you are centralized your amount into one coin. I just mention some coins that have potential to growth at least for short term to give you another profit.
2069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How careful are you? on: March 06, 2018, 11:32:50 PM
Do you...

1. Keep a cold storage for your hodl coins.
2. Use a ledger.
3. Keep a paper copy of your priv-keys
4. Create your transactions off-line and then launch them on-line.
5. Have different passwords for ALL the services you use.
6. Change your password often

How many points do you "score" out of these typical security advices?
As long as you are keeping all of your privatekey safely and then you will never feel worried about that.

I say Use a ledger seems not become the best way. I could give a score around 70-80. Have you seen so many cases told us about ledger can be exploited? But not at all at least that gives us some lessons.

The simple things you must never try to do that just like in any airdrop that asked your private key or other data linked to your amount.
2070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YEAR OF THE DOG ... and DOGE died ! on: March 06, 2018, 11:26:41 PM
Yup, doge was created for fun, a meme coin. They did some really cool stuff tho - like the doge car in Nascar Cheesy
actually it is good for doge even it is only created for fun, maybe TS only someone who lose when trade Dogecoin, typical someone who always blame coin and not know what actually his/her mistake
https://twitter.com/avsa/status/964564072065880064
Maybe you called a dogecoin as fail meme coin but i will try to buy as much as i can. Because i was beliving about the dogecoin. A new foundation to build ether-doge bridge has been started and i don't wanna miss it anyway.
But some people still not realize about that and how dumb they are.
2071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: March 02, 2018, 02:19:21 PM
For me for the best to hold bitcoin and ethereum are good  because this two we have potential to growth for my investment and i know one this two are we rise again
both was the best options right now.
1 bitcoin with its future lightning network implementation to make all of those bitcoin forks coin become worthless.
2 ethereum build so many cross bridge platform with various project and that will bring a lot of advantages to build any correlation between ethereum and another platform.
It's not only about strong future or its potential but there is a reason behind that.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 generations of blockchain. Did you know? on: March 02, 2018, 02:17:00 PM
I often hear from different sides conversations about the generations of the blockchains. But not everyone understands what this means and what is the difference.

So, the first generation of technology is the simplest solution for conducting digital transactions, which are checked by a decentralized network. This is the only function that the first generation can perform. For example Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple.

The second generation of blockchain allow the use of smart contracts, programming tokens, and launching applications. For example, the Ethereum, Neo, Xem.

Now it's time for the third generation. At the moment, many new blockchains are being developed. The third generation must carry a new, revolutionary idea. It must have a cardinal difference from the former.

What is the fourth, fifth generation and so on I do not know. But I think it's just marketing Smiley
What do you think about it?

It's just a marketing or other word it called as clickbbait to make others just feel curious to know more about what is that? There is no a lot of differences between blockchain 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 that was pure a marketing tricl to attract the more demand to the project itself. Even some blind person called DAG system as the next blockchain platform but the majority of us know that was really different.
2073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STAY FAR AWAY FROM IUNGO [ING]. Bad Project Team on: March 02, 2018, 02:14:01 PM
It's incredible...I do not understand how a team can be organised like Iungo. The idea behind is great, how did it fail?
The developer was abusing everything, I was seeing all of the chat history in the telegram group and it looks like a lot of people are dumping all of their ING and move to other better project. The fact that the price of ING has fallen almost 90% from the ico price. And that will be never recovered again. It looks so difficult while at the same time the developer was doing a lot of shady act.
2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: March 01, 2018, 11:05:52 PM
percentage of scummy ICOs is pretty high nowadays so I would not recommend to buy on ICO stage unless you've learned a lot about the project and you are confident about your investment.
If so, you have good chances to earn some extra cash Cool
There's a lot of scam projects right now but unless if you can find one that promising ico and that gives you a lot of profit just in some days after it being listed and traded by so many people.

The price movement after an ICO really depends on the project, this is why you shouldn't simply invest in every ICO but research them in depth and see if the team can deliver.
Not sure about that because the fact the development progress doesn't give any impact when crypto at bearish trend. Remember there are some projects are giving big update when we were at the bearish but that doesn't give anything to the chart of the coin itself.
2075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin white worth buying?? on: March 01, 2018, 11:01:56 PM
Not gonna buy this. Trying to avoid dealing with bitcoins fork. Almost all of them are useless and scam.

I don't believe in forks too. Between all the forks only BCC was succeed. I prefer to buy more interesting coins. About 50 forks are planned this year and I am confident that none of them will be successful.
This sucks how zclassic has been pumping by airdrop hunters and then after the snapshot has already taken by the team and they are dumping it in some minutes. Airdrop coin is not worth anymore dude.
Bitcoin Cash was succeed due to the name of bitcoin itself and the team is very hard to shilling bitcoin cash for everyone in every place. THat's obviously true.
2076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how many coins do you think will last on: March 01, 2018, 09:27:50 AM
There are currently 1524 coins on Coinmarketcap making up a total cap of $448,449,144,831.00. With this in mind I think that maybe we are in a "bubble". With out a vetting system for ICO's coming on to the market, there will always be coins that are, as far as their project and actual utilization is concerned, maintain an artificial value contributing to the broader crypto market cap.
Now don't get me wrong. I believe that crypto is here to stay in one form or another. But until we find a way of getting these scam coins (Bitconnect etc.) out of the market, then I believe we will not have a true representation of the market. Furthermore, I think this plays a part in the declining price that is conflicting Bitcoin and other great projects out there as the market becomes over saturated.
Once markets begin using vetting services for potential ICO's, I believe this market will truly start to take off. My question is this, once these coins have to start going through a more stringent vetting process to be accepted to market's how many coins do you think will last, and do you think this is something that will gain adoption in the near future?

To be accepted in in a lot market and the coin must have met any requirements from the market itself. But the majority of altcoin don't have strong development progress i can say only 7%-8% of them will survive.

But not sure about that because the majority of investors are using ico to flip their money.
It will not happen in near future.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Study any Altcoins before Investment on: March 01, 2018, 06:50:51 AM
There are some factors that need to Notice before Investment on any Altcoins.

Market cap of that Coin
24h volume of that coin.
Maximum supply of coin
Blockchain Technology that Coin is using.
Globalization
Community behind that Altcoin
Whitepaper
Liquidity

If I missed anything then include this in this Topic
You are forgetting about the transparency of the development progress, because that gives regular information about the development process of the project itself. As you can see many projects are not making any regular update to the investors and i called that about less on the transparency and that makes a lot of investors doubt about the future of project itself.
2078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs Bitcoincash on: March 01, 2018, 06:46:59 AM
Long term the value will be determined by demand for the token and that will be driven by use and not speculation.
Ethereum has carved out a clear niche in its use as a tool for crowdfunding, what use has Bitcoincash demonstrated?
The important thing should not ethereum as a tool for the crowdfunding for so many icos. But if you are seeing the fact that the first dapps run in ethereum platform while at the same time another platform still doesn't implement anything to run on their blockchain platform.

Another important thing ethereum will try to make a cross bridge blockchain to make a bridge to another blockchain platform.

There is a lot of good things about ethereum itself.
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if USA and China made bitcoin legal tomorrow? on: February 28, 2018, 04:33:42 AM
I don't think that this year China allows ICO legalization, because China is to further to crack down on money laundering behavior, then cryptocurrency market seems to be not allowed to exist, and the United States of the ICO project required by the SEC, this seems unlikely.
At least you can try to read it properly dude. That's about a speculation if ico will be legalizing by those are banning icos right now. Billion dollars will be going to the ico and i'm sure about that.
With ban of those countries and how icos still become a trending topic right now. People are interested to search the promising ico. But remember the majority of token still can be considered as securities.
2080  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what happened to BitConnect?!!! on: February 28, 2018, 04:28:58 AM
Update:
Our #BitConnect cryptocurrency will be removed from all exchanges.
Therefore, we offer an opportunity for our members.
You can exchange your BCC tokens at the current rate of $142.47 USD per token.

Follow the instructions in the following article:
http://telegra.ph/GUIDE-TO-RECOVER-THE-INVESTMENT-FOR-THE-BITCONNECT-BCC-CRYPTOCURRENCY-02-26
This looks like just another scam attempt. How you dude is buying each bitconnect worth $142 while at the same time the majority of bitconnect market just trade that shit coin for $3 for every bcc scam coin.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitconnect/
You are obviously spreading the malicious link to others. That's true consider the fact that bitconnect gets dumped more than 99% from the peak price.
