2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Operator Court Case on: May 20, 2023, 10:41:32 PM
All I know is casinos track cheaters but not all their players' bets as long as it is legit if there is no maximum bets that a player can do that is set by the terms, they can bet all they want, based on the article OP provided about Bet365 getting sued for the maximum bet.

Quote
If it does, a new precedent could be set for the gaming industry. In addition to being responsible for consumers’ gaming activity, operators may soon be responsible for limiting how much they can lose. Even if they pass affordability, responsible gambling, and mental health checks, consumers might still be able to lay claim to losses.

So it's worth watching this case if the player won casinos will look into limiting their members' betting and how much they can lose after doing an assessment and that could be bad for many casinos.
2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: May 20, 2023, 12:44:06 PM
Many investors know all of this but they prefer to ignore all the warnings in the hope that they can gain a lot of money being the early investors and when there's a huge pump, they know the admin will dump at an unexpected time and they are looking to dump ahead of the admin or when the admin is dumping.
There's a huge risk in investing in shitcoins you have to be on alert because anytime you could become a bagholder of the shitcoin you bought, never think that you can hold a shitcoin for the long term, shitcoins are created for admin to profit they are worse than a Ponzi scheme.
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: May 20, 2023, 11:38:01 AM

For some reason. I started to appreciate instant withdrawal now that I experienced this first hand. In my case, it’s not about the casino but the blockchain slow confirmation.

This is not going to be the last time, in the future, we may see another network congestion that is beyond our control and you are caught playing while there is congestion, so even if you don't want to if you don't have patience you could lose all your bankroll or even your winning, so it's still better to cultivate patience for your own good, what recently happened is the test of our patience, patience in gambling is a good virtue.
2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: May 20, 2023, 10:12:10 AM

However, who is really losing the psychological tactics? During the face off, Haney appears to have lost his control on his emotions and pushed Lomachenko. This might show that there is fear in Haney. This might also become an advantage for Lomachenko if he can cause something similar in the ring hehe.

It appears that I might have underestimated the Ukranian. Can I change my vote? Change to 19 votes for Haney, 17 votes for Lomachenko hehehehehehe.

I'm surprised he did that, what's with Haney, I have seen a lot of his face-off and he is not like this he used to be very cool and gentlemanly what's with him, Loma is very cool it's like a normal routine for him it's like another fight for him and Haney feels like he is being underestimated by Loma, this is going to be a very good match to watch.
The first one to lose his cool and composure will likely make a mistake that the other guy can exploit.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 20, 2023, 04:51:04 AM
To play in any casino you have to come with your money or asset, or are there any casinos that allow play and pay later? Or I am thinking if maybe he used a credit card for gambling? We all know that debt is possible on cards..

I don't think most banks will allow that form of transaction where credit or sort of pay later can be used at casino platforms.

Gambling is one of the services that credit cards won't entertain as valid transaction. Just imagine the number of possible issues that the bank can face if they will allow using credit cards on gambling sites such as fraud, chargeback, authorization issues, etc.

The casino itself I believed won't also allow that kind of transaction. If users don't have money, then don't gamble.
There are casinos that accept credit cards and these are some of the partial lists
https://www.letsgambleusa.com/online-casino/credit-cards/

But they don't recommend credit card transactions because of the very high processing fees some transactions range from 9 to 15.9% so these casinos recommend the use of Cryptocurrency for fast transactions and lower fees, these are the reasons why the majority of casinos now accept and promote the use of Cryptocurrency for convenience for both players and the casinos.
2066  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Confirmed Scam, The STN TOKEN (Stretch to Earn) on: May 19, 2023, 11:17:31 PM
So why create a new thread when you can just update the old thread and change the title or add the word Confirmed in the title.

So that one is a warning and this is the confirmation?

It's not how to report a scam works here,  you better lock this thread and just update the old thread, no need to create a thread for confirmation.
2067  Economy / Gambling / Re: LTCCasino.com (Suspicious payout) on: May 19, 2023, 10:41:17 PM
i recently joined this casino but i suddenly noticed that its payout seems to be near 0%

is this a loyal place to play or is it a "deposit only" casino?

i know they OPERATE WITHOUT A REGULAR LICENCE right?

What do you think

One of the rules in choosing a casino is when in doubt don't, you should be comfortable playing in a casino knowing that when it's time for you to cash out, the casino is able to give it to you.

LTCCasino.com is unpopular here in Bitcointalk and there is a lot of bad feedback, if there are unresolved feedback then don't go for it, we have hundreds of casinos here, and choosing the right one is not that hard, if you fall on the wrong one it's on you for not choosing the wrong casino because you did not do the right thing and that is research.
2068  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 19, 2023, 02:09:01 PM
What if your current campaign increases the minimum post to 25 will you get out of the current campaign, now that there are so many applicants and yet few campaigns, that number doesn't matter if you are knowledgeable on the many subjects here in this forum and you are an active poster by habit, your motivation should be your habit not on numbers.
If I will see that I have to push myself too much to reach required quota and that I'm posting just for quantity, then yes, probably I will get out of campaign.

Wow, you're too honest for telling us that I cannot blame you if you think that quality comes first before quantity, honestly, there is no exact campaign post quota, you can be in a campaign with 20 posts but you have the time and you have the motivation to posts because you love being in a discussion, in a debate or you want to contribute in a discussion, the most important thing is if you are going to post 3 or 10 posts daily it should not be spam its still quality that counts because its the one that will define you.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some needed features of an online casino. on: May 18, 2023, 09:42:11 PM

2. They can also set a time limit of playing for a player, give notification if this would be their last game anymore for today.
3. Set a notification showing how long they've been playing.

With these kind of features, they might actually help or lessen the addiction of a gambler.

This is like suggesting to casinos to cut their profit, and for the players to limit their enjoyment it's not democratic to suggest these things, casinos are not educational portals that will teach you how to gamble properly they can suggest but they cannot implement measures that will control your urge to gamble, and teach you how to gamble responsibly, you are on your own when you decide to play in casinos.

I doubt this will be implemented, there's no business sense in implementing these features.
2070  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFTonSPIN.com - Leading Crypto Casino With Get Full Refund If Not Satisfied on: May 18, 2023, 12:40:57 PM
BTC NFTonSPIN.com is the first and only casino to have a refund policy, if player is not satisfied.
This is a bold option which is not provided by any where online in crypto or non crypto gambling.

Quote
Full Refund In 3 Days No questions asked
Is this even possible, how in the world can you sustain your platform if it happens that 9 out of your 10 players asked for a refund, you cannot call this a casino at all because it's no risk, we cannot even call this an entertainment portal because there is no thrill if you are not going to lose money even in gaming site you can lose money, you did not even explain your business model how can you make a platform profitable if players can ask for refund you have to give us more.
2071  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign post quota on: May 18, 2023, 11:48:28 AM
Now I can't imagine myself in campaign which would require 25-30 posts.

2072  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Wearing Double signature (Shan85) on: May 17, 2023, 10:58:47 PM
This is really an amazing and disgusting scam by cheating Royse777 and Hhampuz he is running two signature campaigns at once and getting paid double. Indeed a user like Shan85 doesn't deserve to be in this forum, he has really ruined the trust Royse and Hhampuz have placed in him. I honestly feel proud after catching the first scam like this. and it turns out that after being traced again he has many accounts, he is really greedy.

It happens because those campaigns have different days to count the posts of the participants, so he exploits it, bounty managers' jobs are not really that easy they cannot monitor every participant they concentrated on participants' posts and level of participation in discussions, hats off to you for having a quick eye and details the cheater is a new participant so we're familiar to his profile.
I have some members who have been on campaigns for so many months and years that I became familiar with the signature that they are wearing.
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion about sweepstakes and gambling on: May 17, 2023, 09:35:34 PM
We may look at sweepstakes as gambling but all the search results about sweepstakes consider it as not gambling because participation does not involve money it is very different from a lottery and from the contest on this screenshot we will see the difference so of there's n money involve we cannot consider it as gambling as there is no money is involved which is in the principle of gambling there should be money to participate.

2074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most altcoins are fake (wakanda) on: May 17, 2023, 03:35:33 PM
People should learn that if a coin or token comes from a trend or a hype this is going to be a useless and shit token out of the thousands of tokens or coins that come from what is trending only 1% or even less are still in the market and they are struggling, people should stop investing and supporting coins that comes from trend and hype, they keep coming because many investors mostly newbies who are dreaming to be an early bird in a coin that they think will have potential keep investing on these shitcoins.
2075  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Portfolio Grading on: May 17, 2023, 12:50:20 PM
Does anyone use platforms or services that offer crypto portfolio grading to evaluate the performance of a portfolio?

I'm using Coingecko and Coinmarketcap and since I have one portfolio that comprises new tokens there are coins that are not on Coinmarketcap and there are coins that are not on Coingecko, these are the best tool with varied portfolios because you can create as many portfolios as you like and if there's an update of the price and additional information about the coin it will be automatically added not only that both have a Playstore version so go for it you will like the experience.
2076  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammers on the forum. on: May 16, 2023, 11:21:20 PM
They will get another account again, create another moderated sales thread, and scam again and they only need one buyer,  so the cycle continues, I hope in the future newbies cannot moderate their sales thread so we can post and warn people that they need to escrow before buying anything to newly open account.
2077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A long term investor here, thinking about adding RoLLBit Token on: May 16, 2023, 09:25:37 PM
investing in casino token is something very risky,
I agree with your assessment I have invested in two Casino based tokens but dump the other one and only retail the first one, if you're going to buy a token-based casino you should check their standing here in the gambling community, if they are popular or supported the gambling community, do they have unsettled accusation and are they active in resolving issues.
I based these criteria to dump Owl token because they lock their thread and they prefer to ignore members who ask them to communicate with the community, so far Rollbit is doing good here in Bitcointalk but do check the risk and the benefits and see if the benefits outweigh the risks.
2078  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Who Can Help Me Check This? on: May 16, 2023, 03:22:26 PM
Saw this somewhere and wonder what they're up to. What do you think?

https://easygold.io/

It's fake and another money-grabbing project if you scroll down you'll see that they want to make themselves credible by posting images of these reputable sites but they are not clickable just a baseless claim to bait people to invest, they don't have an announcement here but if they do they will be busted.

2079  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Cashskull.com - Ponzi scheme on: May 16, 2023, 12:32:25 PM
[...]
OP should create a flag for this project to warn people, anyway if you're a wise investor you're not going to fall into something like this.

Sadly, that will only slowed the BM a little. As OP said, the bounty was managed by a notorious BM. Leclerc2019 was part of, if not he himself, the already flagged and tagged Formula Bounty. He'll re-emerge with another alt-account.

At least if we have investors or bounty hunters who will do research they will find that this platform is considered a Ponzi scheme which obviously it is, we can only warn people about projects promoted here and hope that those who will invest will see the status of the platform.
90% of the bounty campaigns are scams a far cry from bounty campaigns back in 2017, it is a big gamble both for investors and bounty hunters to get involved in these kinds of projects.
2080  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 16, 2023, 10:23:58 AM
Wherever you play be it online or offline casino under any circumstances you should not allow being persuaded threaten or even requested to gamble because it involves money and it's your money, it's different if it's not your money but it's your money.
Betting in casinos should be your free will to make it enjoyable and you should be responsible for the outcome win or lose.
BTW there is a complaint in the scam section he wants to get a refund because he finds a loophole in one casino, this is unethical and irresponsible.
