2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: May 22, 2023, 09:48:01 AM
In my opinion, the number of reckless offenses has nothing to do with gambling, so I would suggest that in fact the problem lies much deeper - most likely at the level of the psyche of each individual. We've all heard stories of people doing nonsense that is hard to believe, but that doesn't mean that they are all gamblers. It is quite possible that gambling can provoke a person, but if he is in his right mind it is quite difficult to do so. In addition, even people who do not gamble at all commit such reckless acts.

You will get many experiences in gambling because it's a platform that has a large number of gamblers and non gamblers visiting it everyday, just use the forum here for an example, you will discover many people behaving like they were not from the planet earth with such their annoying acts, yet we all move together, with time some yield to change while some left, gambling experience is very wode, some make moves to abuse their system, attack them or even accused them for nothing, anything that has to do with dealing with a large number of people needs patience and a good security measures, things like this are inevitable from gambling platforms to have any time.
2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: May 22, 2023, 09:12:43 AM
Why should they, do you even think they have time for such continuous activities, the verification made forbthe KYC gambling organizations is enough and fine, doing that from time to time will make no meaning that pull of frustration on gamblers, only few manage to enjoy the kyc verification requirements and it's procedures not to now talk of making it a routine process from time to time, they will definitely stuffer a loss in numbers of gamblers to their platform if implemented.
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 22, 2023, 08:55:08 AM
things like this can happen and happen quite often to gambling players, so depending on your income on gambling is actually very wrong

gambling is to make yourself even more entertained, you can find money in other ways such as working or opening a business, if you think gambling is a job then that is a big mistake and one day you might experience bad luck like a very big loss

Gambling dependency is getting common and the rate is getting high especially in areas where the economy standard of living is very low and the gover is not considering the youths for better opportunity for career engagement, some people rely on gambling on such situations to make a living because that's the only remedy they think is left for them to take, though we cannot blame the fover for our individual failures in life because they are not to be responsible for the way we lived our lives but their policy implementation can affect the standard and how we expect seing things work out for us.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: increased Youtube Gambling ads? on: May 22, 2023, 08:36:17 AM
I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

Ads is one of the common ways people use to make advertisement for their services or company and this is not only attributed to gambling organizations alone, many reputable institutions and companies make use of google ads to advertise their brands, website, products or services, but this can be assumed to be more frequent on the gambling platforms whereby they often advertise themselves on YouTube ads, google ads and in some ppp up messages received via online websites through the network being used while connected to the internet.
2085  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who has never done it before. on: May 20, 2023, 08:14:45 PM
Their is some teenagers who does not pertake in such because of the way their parents raise them, children's behavior according to the environment they raise from, you can't compare a child that is being brought up religiously with a child that's being raised in a dirty environment that no one have control of, i believe that children will act according to home training from their parents

You're actually right here, upbringing matters alot in a child's growth and development and the environment we also lived in determines how our children respond to their growth and development including how they behaved in the society, we need to be deliberate in their upbringings to ensure that they get the best and qualitative parent control while they were still young, they are the future leaders of tomorrow and we must help them towards realizing whom they are and the way expected of them to follow in life in other to accomplish ambition and destiny.
2086  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who else thinks Dogecoin will become the reserve currency on Mars? on: May 20, 2023, 07:57:54 PM
Why do we like deceiving ourselves on things that are not necessarily what matters at all, if you're talking about the cryptocurrency network as a whole then i think you're wrong if anything of such is coming up and bitcoin is not your first suggestion on how this, am not saying that doge does not have a future but in everything there's hirrachy and order of preference, wish i believe bitcoin should be your first consideration in this.
2087  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: May 20, 2023, 07:43:55 PM
You have to sell cryptocurrency in a falling market in time, otherwise you might find yourself selling at the very bottom. Unfortunately, it's hard to say whether this crypto-asset will come back to life when the market starts to rise. That's why selling cryptocurrency on a fall may be the right decision.

Selling cryptocurrency at the very time it's falling dip is very risky, the kind of decision made at that moment determines wether one ends being a looser or an earner of his investment, we also have to consider the coin invested on, if bitcoin is your investment, there's no fear for missing out because it you continue to hodl it will certainly rise up back over time, but if you invested on altcoins then you're at risk because some may not survived high volatility when the price of bitcoin goes dip.
2088  Local / Politics and society (Naija) / Re: Importance of Mental Health Awareness in Nigeria. on: May 20, 2023, 06:50:36 PM
Mental health is not what is only associated with a particular country, it's something common and mostly found in every part of the world, one thing that needs to be much concerned about this is that many were being tound mentally imbalance through the emotional trauma they have been through in some stages of their life, some accident, malnutrition while others may be due to spiritual attacks as believed by some people, some people were mentally affected but you really won't know by just seing their appearance, we need to put others interest in mind and help them towards maintaining a stable mindset and rendering help where necessary to help them in our own way.
2089  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Which Cex is the Best centralized exchange with the lowest fee on: May 20, 2023, 06:35:47 PM
Each exchange has there own rate they charges from making a transaction for you, but it is also expected of you to know that exchanges could be nasty in some of the ways they make those charges which could be beyond a bearable limit, i will advise you always know the current transaction fee limit from the mempool in other to know if you're been over charged by any of the centralized exchanges, you can also make weekend transactions which often havelesser fee due to the mempool not being congested, read more on the these exchanges from Ratimov list under huge list cex, dex, atm, no kyc exchanges

2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: May 20, 2023, 05:52:23 PM
What future do we really hope for altcoins without bitcoin?

Permit me to give this that no future for altcoins where bitcoin is not sure to remain, which means they all depends on bitcoin to survive, they rely on bitcoin for their own determination of values, when bitcoin rises, to they also move along while few don't and remain on the same spot, same also is applicable when the bitcoin price goes dip, and hey also massively fall and some don't recover from such experience,so bitcoin should be your number one lead in cryptocurrency before I thinking about any alternative to it, know this that bitcoin cannot fail, it has come to stay.
2091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: May 20, 2023, 05:27:55 PM
I recently made some money through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, and I'm considering using it to purchase some Bitcoin. Only a tiny sum, roughly $800, is involved. What do you suggest doing right now? Purchase some Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency with a promising future.

What replacement coins would you recommend?

If you think about cryptocurrency as a matter of fact, bitcoi should be your number one priority investment, then if you want also think that you're able to take so level of risk to an extent then you can go for some few altcoins and start by checking on the best ratings each has after bitcoin ranking, we have some that could be as well reliable, conduct a research on them and buy them when they are dip, once you earn little more on them then you sell out.
2092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 20, 2023, 03:27:45 PM
Some say airdrops retroactive arent profitable. Maybe for some its a waste of time but for others thats plenty of money already and could been helpful to their financial status in life.

It just because people hardly finds reliability in many of these airdrops that's why they don't want to waste their time anymore on what amount to nothing at rhe end, but it's a very good idea to hunt after as a newbie, most of the experience cryptopreneurs don't have time for airdrops.

Im giving of my airdrops receive so far and hoping to gain with other protocols too.  Can you share yours?

That's a good idea as well, many may be interested especially the newbies and they will definitely come for it because this is the specified board for them to showcase their interest and bids for altcoins and tokens.
2093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before investing on meme coin or shitcoins consider this. on: May 20, 2023, 03:19:58 PM
Shitcoins are starting to gain hype so to avoid losing your hard earned money read this.

1. They are not created for long term most of the time shitcoins exist for short term and devs who create it will dump this because they move to their next project to avoid losing your money sell it immediately once you are in profit.

Investors will never sees them as shitcoins in the first place because they are so desperate to make money through them, but immediately they fail, then comes manners of them that people called then, they are just tokens, maybe people should begin to learn about the meaning of the word token and how it's been applicable in cryptocurrency, they are not the real coins.

2. Never believe about devs promises since they are not really there to help you but they want to scam people and want o get rich quickly.

Don't believe them, dont rely on them, don't trust them, they are out for business and it will be better for you to consider them if you're able to developed a thicker skin.

3. Be realistic and don't join the FOMO since this could lead up losing your money.

This comes often especially when the market begins to go dip, everyone on a run not to loose what they have invested, such is very common in altcoins investment.

2094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Assess a Memecoin and Not Get Scammed ;) on: May 20, 2023, 02:39:54 PM
I think it really hits everyone, but for the first point Find out more about the project's token in https://honeypot.is/, from what you research, it really helps users in making decisions, meaning that user can't do anything else, especially if selling on Pancakeswap after buying tokens, even if we force the sale to only use up gas. Very cool.

Everyone of us might have been involved on being scammed by any of the crypto coins or token before and would have conducted a research on the before this also happens, which means we cannot predict them enough of their true and genuine identity, Altcoins cannot be predicted accurately base on the level of research we made about them except those behind them are people that can be trusted
2095  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 20, 2023, 01:55:00 PM
Most scam casinos actually come from new casinos in this industry. Because others like gamblers and well-known influencers also planted in the minds of most gamblers that when a casino is new, the chances of you winning a lot of money are high.

It is these hyped things that they say are the ones that make an impression on the online gambling community, so many are victims of online casinos. The majority of people think that they will get a lot of money for a small amount in gambling, but they will realize in the end that they have lost a lot and even exceeded the small capital that they thought would be a big amount, but it turned out to be a big amount in the end. they will lose.
Gamblers should not have thought that a new casino could give them a chance to win big money. That is an erroneous thought because their chances of losing may be greater than the wins they can get.

But indeed, they also can win, especially if they can get lucky when gambling. They could prevent big losses if they used small bets and kept track of how long they had been gambling. But it depends on how they control the use of money.

Let's not also forget to discuss about the advantage in taking into consideration the new casinos as well, for everything, there's always an advantage and a disadvantage in it, there are many reasons why you could see gamblers inter in newly established casinos just because they aren't satisfied enough from the ones they have been using, that's why there's a need for a consistent upgrades in those casinos in other to help them maintain their security and gamblers as well, also trying out something is another desire which anyone can have taste for.

We may feel like trying a new casino features and make comparisons to what we've been receiving before, this is also a right to any gambler to choose his desiring platform to gamble on, but the risk of falling into scam casinos might have increased while doing this, most importantly, it Should be an occasional occurrence not what we should be doing often moving from one casino to another.
2096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: May 20, 2023, 01:37:22 PM
Each casino has its own rules and they have their regulations for the bonuses themselves, they are different, they differ a lot because they have different ways of dealing with the way they play, if in a small casino it has some of the limitations that we do not like, I agree I agree that they have to look for other casinos, in the case of duelbits I feel comfortable, they have the games that I like

Do we even follow some criterials or set some guidelines before choosing a casino to use, because each everyone of them has their own different ways of operations that differs from other's, not until we study this regarding each particular casino we are using we may always ended being disappointed from them because what we will be having will be entirely different from what we will be expecting once our understanding about them is not good enough.

there is no problem with the bonuses, with the withdrawals, I am very demanding with the withdrawals, I like that they occur when I want and that there is no need to be sending messages to support for my payment, I have no problems here , that's why I Recommend it.

But many casino give strict use of their policy then regulates making withdrawal, and this is one of the most challenging aspects gamblers always dont like to experience because it's disappointing enough and not encouraging by all means because of the restriction due to non compliance to their KYC.
2097  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: May 20, 2023, 01:09:28 PM
If the gambling company is well-reputable, then spending that kind of amount to reach the bonuses may be a good idea to save money in the future.
That is definitely be frowned upon considering it's gambling and there's no certainties that you can win and save money on those bonuses. Let us say you collected a staggering bonus yet you're on a loss, that for sure will be a bad practice. Moreover, banks doesn't consider gambling for credit score.

Maybe he can get that bonus but he has to remember that in gambling, we can't always win after getting that bonus. Many of us experience loss even though we get bonuses, which is why we don't need to chase bonuses if we feel they are difficult to get. It's better to just play gambling as usual without purpose other than just to get pleasure from gambling. And using a credit card just to get a bonus is not a good idea considering we have to prepare some money to be paid to the bank and we also don't know how much we will lose.

The funny aspect is that chasing after bonus is very easy to achieved but winning is the most difficult task to get done, and this is the aspect that most of the gamblers missed it from, they will because of the bonus hunt chase after a particular game and use the money they can't afford to loose in chasing after this, some over run this by leaving their private life vulnerable to attack and also chase after bonus, at the end, they will all have the bonus but loose their own money, it's time we wise up in gambling and avoid taking some unnecessary risk that are too expensive for us to accommodate their consequences in gambling.

You're right, there's no certainty in gambling to what you can receive as an outcome, gambling has that risk that it gives and can't guarantee you on a particular outcome as result, moreover why the stess on this when there are alternatives to making payments in gambling casinos, they almost supports more than two cryptocurrencies for making payments of which i think that alone is a good take on itself than vending on what will have a costly repercussions later in life.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: May 20, 2023, 12:18:38 PM
I do not think I have ever heard about this concept. I have heard before about whales in Las Vegas who are allowed to gamble on credit because the trust the casino has on particulars clients.
Nevertheless, even if some casinos offered those plans for people to gamble on credit, I would not advice anyome to fall in the temptation, if the person starts to develop gambling addiction It can only end up in financial ruin.  Sad

Gambling on credit is supposed for millionaires and whales, let us keep that in mind.

I can't even encourage a gambler on such offer because it's a bad idea to support or sugget someone to taking loan and be in debt, they will never be grateful to you if they ended up being unable to make a repayment because they believe that you're the one that push them into it, they wouldn't have been into debt, same applies for the rich gamblers who think they have money, they don't need to go off their limit just to gamble and lost the game and later finds it a regretting experience, some have been once rich and turn poor because of gambling indebtedness.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things that still make feel awkward with some online casinos on: May 20, 2023, 12:07:28 PM
Why are some online gambling platforms having high withdrawal fee? I know Bitcoin recently has a high transaction fee but that's no more right now, some online casinos are still asking for 5$ per transaction when it should be 1$ or less.

That is cheating their players.  I am glad that I am playing in Stakes, during the surge of transaction fees, Stake does not change their withdrawal fee.  They are still charging with less than $2 while the blockchain fee is more than $20.

Not just only Bitcoin withdrawal, even coins with very low transaction fee, isn't this robbery? If you just signed up on a centralized exchange, you can pretend as if you want to withdraw, to know how much the gas fee costs, but on online casino, you will see this only after you have enough wins or funds for withdrawal.

Casinos' other source of earnings is their withdrawal processing fees.  So it is not surprising that many casinos are charging their player way more than the blockchain transaction fee.  It is their opportunity to earn from their service so they will take that opportunity.

On the common way, casinos don't have that kind of high transaction fees like that experience with exchanges, but if one comes across any that is taking an abuse on such, then it's better to try other recommendations because they may be taking advantage on others in that while everything had gone down to a bearable limit, which measn we must be very sure we are using a trusted casino and can also track the mempool to know the current fee on transaction and see if they are making an additional fee or not from their own end.
