2081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 08, 2023, 08:12:01 PM
True, if money isn't a matter to me then that's fine like throwing hundred thousands of bucks on it. That's what I'll feel then because it's not gonna be an easy thing that I can manage it on my own. There will be people that I should have on board so that they'll help me to manage the entire operations. Coming from all technical stuff, to marketing and with the operations in day to day basis. There's so much work that needs to be done with it and it's not that simple at all.
I have observed back in the days about some account playing One Man team in running its gambling business and mostly it fails and others turn as scam site in the end.
We must always consider others help in this business or else you will end up nothing but a loser.
That's very common in the past that there are people that runs the entire thing on their own. I don't know how many of them became successful but usually, the majority of those turns into a failure.

what is important in this money making business is your willingness to spend money to pay employee and people to help you out not just managing the site but also to help you find other issues to make things matter.

We must always consider others help in this business or else you will end up nothing but a loser.
Well, a establishment that must be run by other people and hired employees, the owner of it should really pay for them because without them, the business won't run smoothly.
2082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Maybe it's time for BTC to take off and reach the $100K on: March 08, 2023, 03:34:37 PM
Chill, there's no need to rush for bitcoin to reach $100k. There will be a certain push for it once the halving is done. We're not yet there but we're getting close as day passess by. Bitcoin will shock the world again and most financial and capital institutions that have already made their moves are just waiting for that time to come.

Right now BTC is cheap as peanuts. Luckily 1 BTC = 1 BTC.
And that's why those that still haven't got in while the halving is close to happen, they're all gonna regret that they've just let it passed that bitcoin was $16k-$22k. While we're speculating that it would certainly go up after the halving, hopefully that the cycle will be different and could potentially be up before the halving but whether it goes before or after, both will do for most of us.
2083  Economy / Economics / Re: Twitter becoming Worlds biggest Financial Institution? on: March 08, 2023, 01:37:06 PM
He just bought the company and why would he be pessimistic about his recent acquisition of Twitter? He'd tell things that will be a plus to him and for Twitter that's why he won't say anything negative to it unless someone puts him on his own pan to be cooked.
Elon is an attention guy so, anything he says always take it with a grain of salt. That's why those that have been believing that Dogecoin to the moon because of him, you probably have missed the time that you should be taking profits when it was still hot, hyped and trendy.
2084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can't be robbed on: March 08, 2023, 03:49:28 AM
It can't be robbed if they do that through that ATM but as said, the cash that's in there can be stolen. A wallet can be hacked and those robbers probably thought that they can get all the bitcoin's stored there but they do lack knowledge about it.
Just like those people that bashes and dislikes bitcoin about it being anonymous and commonly used as they said by the people of the dark marketplaces, they just can't accept the fact that it's already in the mainstream and just as those robbers, they lack knowledge as well.
But a robber can force a person they know that holds bitcoin by extorting and forcing him to give their keys, yeah the known wrench attack.
2085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 07, 2023, 11:15:19 PM
If I can? I'm playing in between of saying yes and no. First, yes, because I want to expand and have more businesses that I know that I can manage. Since let's say that money is not an issue and I can have and hire good people to be part of my team that I can rely on so, that would be an easy way of managing it. On the other side of saying no, there should be a commitment on it since money that will be put on it will not be a joke, and that's why sometimes our minds telling us that it's easy and we can do it. But in reality when we see the first tries of its failures, we tend to say that we shouldn't even have started it.
Amount would really be no joke considering that it would really be that big then it is really that normal t hat you would really be that serious on handling it out even if you are really that interested or a gambler itself.

You cant really just make one and wont really be that mindful nor really that be serious on handling it because it does really costs money. If you are a multi-millionaire or billionaire which building a business wont really be a problem then it would really be into your choice because its impossible that you wont really be that mindful that much when it comes to your another venture or source of revenue.
The thing here is that this do inline with the line of interest of yours.

2087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: where the losed money goes? on: March 07, 2023, 06:17:37 PM
Mate, the casinos are businesses and they make profit from everyone who gambles at their platform. You're right that they have a percentage and that's the house edge. Why you're more concerned about the gambler's losing money as they've chosen to gamble at any platform they wish freely? It doesn't make sense to think about it as there are only two results in gambling, winning and losing, even if there will be more gamblers to win. In the end, there will be more players that will lose and it shall cover the expense of those winning bets.
2088  Economy / Economics / Re: A steady source of income is a man's bottom line to support his family on: March 07, 2023, 12:31:29 PM

from the story you told, it is an important lesson for all of us, where main income or fixed income is more meaningful and very useful for our daily lives in covering every need needed. a very simple example is for all of us, it is true that the income we can achieve with crypto will be greater than our fixed income, therefore use all of our money as best as possible
Do you mean that use your entire money in investing crypto? No, you are wrong, it was not advisable at all and I don't encourage it as it just invests only extra money.
I don't think that's the meaning of what he said, the latter part for which you may have assumed to spend all of it investing in crypto. IMHO, that means that we should be wise in spending it whether you invest or use it for buying things that you need or want.

Maybe you are right that some are earning more here but never make this a basis that we need to put everything we have because we are not certain of what will happen. And besides, not all have made a huge income because as you can see, a lot of people had lost in crypto also, and might this happen to you mate?
In a speculative market where everything is uncertain, someone has to be flexible and reactive with what he does. It's okay if someone who's focused in the crypto market and earns more than his/her day job. That's much better because a person that has other multiple source of income won't be problematic about his financial status.
2089  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: March 07, 2023, 09:03:35 AM
Cryptocurrencies are becoming a popular asset today, more and more millionaires in the world are investing in cryptocurrencies, this opens up opportunities for us to be part of a rapidly growing community and of course get a lot of profit, many people have proven they can be successful from cryptocurrencies, if you are still in doubt then the best thing is to leave because it will be difficult to invest in high risk types of investments.
And they are investing because they understand the cycle. Unlike the people that still doubts it, they're missing the whole point that's being shown in the market about opportunities of buying while it's not yet at the top. But the difference is that these millionaires and wealthy people that you've mentioned, they're already financially free and rich so their situation won't change that much but we're all the same that will make profit eventually in the profit once we're back again in the bull run. And another difference is that they've got much higher pool of budget and capital than us.
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers meet? on: March 06, 2023, 08:46:50 PM
I've tried to look for one but found nothing. Those that I've seen that has a lot of members are just like muted channels where the owner of the channel is the only one allowed to post. If it's a forum then there's a lot of gambling forums where other gamblers are also meeting just like this board/section for gambling and gambling discussion. But just like what everyone has said, we haven't found one but I think if it's on social media, you can basically find groups there that mainly focuses in betting and shares the same interest as you and the best place to start is to locate the gamblers nearby to you.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tournament gave 25 bitcoins as prize to last places on: March 06, 2023, 06:06:33 PM
I looked at the scenario deeply and simply had a beautiful smile and then compared the situation to what we have now. It is just like giving anyone $500 now or giving them bitcoin equivalent to $50. Honestly no one will value the bitcoin because with $500, you can simply and easily buy bitcoin worth of $50 and still have your $450 dollars remain with you.

At everytime, people always measure the value of bitcoin with the current price it is to fiat. That is why someone bought pizzas with 10,000 bitcoins. 1 btc was around $0.45 dollars then if I am not mistaking.
And it was a different mindset before for those that have heard bitcoin but the enthusiasts know what's best for them and they'll surely keep those bitcoins or would probably asked the gamers to exchange those bitcoins that they've taken. No one expected it to be this big and if we're in their shoe, we perhaps have sold either - in case that they did.

~snip
It surprises me that this story with the awards from the tournament appeared in the english section only now. Or maybe there have already been similar topics here? Personally, this story has been known to me for a relatively long time, because it was published in the local section. If I am not mistaken. I'm sure I saw it somewhere on the forum. I think 25BTC for 5th-8th places will haunt the minds for many years to come. Especially newbies.

My thoughts on this screenshot are as follows. No one knew and could not even imagine in those years that btc would rise in price so much and gain world value. Undoubtedly, now it looks funny when the winner of the 1st place, what's there, all the winners received a thousand times less (even taken together) than the outsiders of that tournament.
I'm not sure if someone has posted this already but it seems that no one has made a thread for this topic before at least for this board. We can just extract the lesson that nobody knows the future of bitcoin but while many are full of uncertainty. We're all here having that positivity that we're looking up to that the time will come for which the price of bitcoin will be even greater.

I wonder if the 1st place winner used those $500 to buy Bitcoin and still keeps those bitcoins as of today.

That would be a true winner  Grin
Yeah but I don't think so.  Tongue
I'll spend that quickly if ever I've won such amount before from a game tournament.

This is a pointer to what we should expect in the future from Bitcoin, back in 2011, bitcoin's value was far less than $100 which is the lowest cash price in this situation, and at that time throwing 25BTC was far easy than $50 or even $20 cash.
But unknowingly for them that it was a fortune in disguise, if it is held for the long term it has been nearly 10-11 years since 2011 when the contest took place and the Bitcoin amount has multiplied significantly, but the highest cash prize in the context which is $500 has lost it purchasing value significantly due to inflation, this goes a long way to show how bitcoin has evolved and proven to be the hedge over inflation.
No one knows the future and that's for sure and back then we don't know if something this big would come out from those consolation bitcoin prizes but then, we've seen the present and it has grown big. There were for sure more sad stories about selling bitcoin earlier because of many reasons and circumstances that has happened in the past.

Well, after seeing this tournament, I think the people who got 5th to 8th place will rethink where bitcoin is, and wish they hadn't sold it then until now.
I hope that among them, there are those who don't care about the prize but at that time and still keep the private keys they have. If they forget the private keys, then they will definitely think hard about it  Grin
Nobody knows if they've kept all, a few or sold all of it. I hope that out of nowhere even just one of them would fill this thread and discuss the story how it was spent.

Guys, there's also another interesting story and thread that I've posted that's the same as these folks who has received bitcoin during the early days of bitcoin.
Thread: A painter received $50 worth of bitcoin on June 2013.

Normally I understand this wasn't the first time BTC has experience this down slide but then it was normally market situations but now many billionares has withdrew interest in this project, then what is the hope of this project? Do you think BTC will experience better and high price?
Of course it will still get higher price soon, don't forget about the halving. I think this concern of yours is always being asked by someone who's new to the market and I can't blame you for asking and being worried but I also asked the question before when I was new.
But then, experience will answer it that you shouldn't worry and this market is here to stay and eventually, those that you've mentioned will come back when the market is in bull run again and that's imminent.
If you've been here for years you'd understand it more. Way back in 2017's ATH, correction also occured which lasted for 2 years if I'm not mistaken and same thing could and could not happen this time given that there is no consistency with the market prices. Even recently wherein its market price was able to break and reach $25k from being as low as $15k. No one expected for such thing so same thing should go for its price decline. As investors we have to be oatient with this market. If we have to wait for another year, that is fine by me. It is potential we are betting of for this industry. But if you're worried because the market value changes from time to time, maybe this industry isn't for you.
It was just for 1 year(2018) and then 2019 came which was like part of the recovery year although nothing much happened until 2020. It's true that when a bear market comes, everyone is expecting it to be really terribly low. But as much as we're looking at it, the price movement of bitcoin is something better than of those years. We're even par with 2017's all time high and much higher than it. Can you imagine of how high it can go from the last ATH so, thinking that another ATH and bear market comes and comparing it with the past. It's possible in the future that the lowest could be par with the last ATH which is around $69k or if it goes lower, still that's a high speculative price in the future knowing that it could be a bear season.

Megapari should be moved from PNYC to CFNP as it has paid its week 16 yesterday with bitcoin.

I still see 4cryptobet is still on the list of CFNP but they've already ended the campaign last February 26 so, it should be removed from that list.

With this payment the management decided to end the campaign.
2095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 06, 2023, 03:38:41 AM
I have one hardware wallet and I've got 2 desktop wallets and I mostly use one for my other transactions. And keeping most of my assets, they're all placed on my hardware wallet.
I only check the balances of it if I just want to and I rarely use my hardware wallet because my funds there were kept as if it's an offline storage so that basically how I use it.
While those desktop wallets that I use are for different purposes, it's not taking much from my offline wallet as I've said it's been there to be kept for many years and someday, I'll pull it off when we're on a greater bull run.
2096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 05, 2023, 11:50:12 PM
For now, that's not going to happen because both mentioned boxers are campaigning for a different belt, WBO for Moloney and WBC for Donaire but yes, maybe in the future, fate will make these two boxers collide with each other so that we can see who's who and which is which. But it's worth to note that Moloney declined the WBC's offer because he is facing Donaire, so that already means something and maybe he will duck again sometime soon until Donaire will retire.
Donaire will ask for 60% of the purse and the fight will stall. He is using his position to demand more money but I think it is because he is scared of losing and does not want that on his record close to his retirement and if he takes the fight he will want a lot of money for the risk. He could just schedule 2/3 lower profile fights and end his career and I think that will happen because there is no way his opponents will accept 30-40% of the purse to fight him.
He'll choose to what he thinks is right and fit as Donaire is close to retirement or it's like the last call and whatever the results will be, he's out but will be taking out all of the money that he's asked for the split share.
There's some pride on his name and that's why he'll choose those that has got name already but I do agree that if he really wants to fight, he can choose those low profile fighters.
But then, I guess there's this pride involve on him and that's why before he closes his doors to the sport that he loved and chose as his path, he want to make it remarkable.
2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC would rise again? on: March 05, 2023, 10:04:06 PM
Judging from the long period of time BTC has not accumulate any impression
How long period we're talking about? I don't think that it's already too long that it hasn't got any attention because it always gets the impression and attention.

I doubt if people are still investing because of many policies formulating against cryptosystem no industries and firm wants to risk their capital again. Would the system remains this way?
No policies will stop people from investing in bitcoin. If you think about the firms then they stop, that's okay. The market isn't only rotating on them because we're here, the shrimps and micro/retail investors.  Cheesy

How I wish that I've got that money when I was in college and I've learned a lot at the same time so that I can go to the university that I like but, that's already done and I've managed to hit it and still did a great job in other ways.
Just live a frugal life and don't live beyond your means, those what you'll hear from everyone if you tell this story and that's why money is quick to be gone if you don't spend it wisely. If you earn money easily, you'll have no feeling of keeping it properly and you'll just waste it in things that you want to enjoy. But if you've earned it hardly and you had exerted a lot of effort on it, you'll definitely choose to be wise on it.
That's a lot of lesson to be learned for you and I am sure that if ever blessings comes again to you, you'll not waste it.
2099  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic power on: March 04, 2023, 10:06:53 PM
Status of a country's economy shows how good the governance is there. And as we know, even the first world countries today are feeling the problem regards to the situation of their economies. But despite that there have been troubles, the best of the best would find their way to recover and be back to their former status. A leader that has a political will to serve its people should be the first and foremost reason why he's in his position, without the support of their constituents they can do nothing for sure. Going to the actual power from a country that uses economic power, we already saw it happen to Ukraine and Russian war, where world leaders have placed economic sanction to Russia.

I do not know to what extent it is good to have all the licenses up to date, because for me it does not matter always and when the casino is honest and pays when I have to pay and that they provide good security, that means a lot to me, when I see that things They work well in a casino, so I give it the go-ahead, and that's it, some here pay a lot of attention to the licenses.

I know of some cases where a casino has had all the licenses and they still came out with a scam, so for me that is not a priority but the honesty that they give in the casino.

There are gamblers that do like to check all of those stuff and before they gamble, they make sure that they're on that casino that's licensed and has it up-to-date. But I do agree with you that when a casino is honest and it pays really well and on time whenever the withdrawals are being requested, that's all matters to many gamblers. Yet, we're not the same in that thinking that those who think that it's an important matter to them and not just important but the most important factor before they proceed. @Sherbet, I've just noticed that the sports tab only listed up to MMA although on the center top list, there goes all of it. Someone might not notice the other sports through the listing icons at the center and it's gonna be a good thing if it's listed all on that left side drop down list.

Hey tabas, thanks for the feedback. You can scroll on the sidebar to reveal more sports if you would like.
Yes, I saw that and that's what I've meant about the center. I just thought that it would be a long list if all of those will be listed downsided. But I guess those that are listed on the side are the ones that have the highest demand as there's that little fire icon on the top. And it's possible for each player to have all of those games listed as favourites and what I'm thinking could be done through it. Overall, thank you sherbet and looking forward to the success of the company.  Smiley
