1281  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: July 06, 2023, 09:53:20 AM
I think the world will be a better place without notice or segregation between the rich and the poor if Bitcoin is embraced fully since Bitcoin is not a currency of a particular country everyone has the equal right and power to either store it or use it.
But this is not going to happen, we've seen countries banning bitcoin and disliking it. From our perspective, there's nothing wrong in adopting bitcoin wholly. While for those countries, they're seeing something bad on it so they wouldn't touch it and won't allow its people to get involved on it. With that, they can't be sure if how many of their people owns bitcoin secretly. This is not about dividing the rich and the poor but, this is all about embracing a new technology and monetary system that's no longer requiring the intervention of a government entity.
it is very hard to make bitcoin fully adopted in the whole world with any countries who ban it because we can not force all countries accept bitcoin since they have their own right to manage their own governance. some governments of countries prohibit to use bitcoin because they feel that bitcoin has many risks for their citizens and their on going national economy.
Hard yes but it's even harder before when the whole world don't have any optimism with Bitcoin. Right now, we're getting close or we're at least there where the world is trusting Bitcoin not just individuals that have been here but also financial institutions as big as BlackRock and other companies that has the same trust as them. We can't do anything with those countries that have already imposed a ban on Bitcoin, maybe sometime in the future that they'll alter that belief and will also join the bandwagon for accepting and allowing Bitcoin on their areas. But today, there's so much better things happening on it that we'd never expect to happen if you've been here for a long time already.
1282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Faucet Free Bitcoin - For Beginner Experience on: July 06, 2023, 08:10:14 AM
If you've got too many spare time doing, that's not a problem. What you get is what you get for free and that's it.
I don't because I only open the faucet when I visit the forum like a spare minute to open the account and then leave. It is free as you have said and I understand why the amount what people can get are very small is because it is free or you only have to complete the captcha which is very easy. I don't think that they will give decent amount of BTC per spin and I know that you know why they give free btc.
If there are things for free, expect that they're not that much like this in faucet. And with that spare time you're spending on it, it's already good than to have nothing each visit you do.

I don't know collecting bitcoin faucet still worth it now. I have never tried bitcoin faucet recently,
It is not worth it anymore if you know other sources that you can make. I haven't tried it since a few years ago but I'd say that it's smaller amounts than before because of the price of bitcoin now.

but 6-7 years ago bitcoin faucet was one of the hyped option for collecting free bitcoin.
I won't say that it's like a hype but it's known and popular mostly for the starters and it's good to remember those times.

But now I don't think anyone should spend their time on collecting free bitcoin faucet because the amount is too low for the time you spent completing the task.
It's okay if someone still goes in faucets, no one can stop anyone from visiting faucets website and claim those free sats.
1283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Faucet Free Bitcoin - For Beginner Experience on: July 05, 2023, 11:08:04 PM
The oldies might say that faucets are a waste of time but this is a good way for the newbies to understand the concept of it. They'll get free very tiny amounts of bitcoin for the time that they'll allocate on it, when we say very tiny as in that's the description.
Many of the old forum users have been into faucets and it's like giving them nostalgic moments on how they've started to know more about Bitcoin and how their plans and dreams started from using it. Good thing that these faucets are still existing because it gives the experience of owning Bitcoin regardless of the amount you'll get there.
Newbies can earn Bitcoin through faucets for free and even though it will take a lot of time before someone have the required amount needed to withdraw and at the same time, it will test their patience if they really are interested in learning about bitcoin and other related information about it. I still access my account on freebitco.in for faucets.
Yes, it's for free, that's the drawback of it while able to earn certain very little on it. It's also like the opening a lot of ideas and knowledge like the pandora's box for someone who's new to it. Various search will come out eventually and that's thanks to the initiative for starting it out with bitcoin faucets.

I already know that it will take a lot of time gather enough satoshi because it's not everyday that we can get free BTC.
If you've got too many spare time doing, that's not a problem. What you get is what you get for free and that's it.
1284  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 02-July-23] on: July 05, 2023, 09:06:53 PM
Coinomize signature campaign is now full again[CFNP].

Accepted.

Yomix have chosen and filled its two remaining slots which means that they're now CFNP.

Accepted. Both of you will start from the next payday.

L0tt0 still has some open slots but unknown when they'll start accepting new applicants to fill their slots.

Unfortunately I can't add new participants until, at the earliest, later in the upcoming round.

that is actually the advamtage of btc market, it is for people from all walks of life and of course, borderless. but there will always be rich and poor people, that's how our social status is going to be. but in this market, everyone is welcome.
That's the world that we're living in, there will always be the rich and the poor and this is the system that we'll have to live with forever unless there's a new system where the riches of these people will be shared upon to everybody. And good thing that there's a likely of it and that's through Bitcoin. You're right that this is for everybody, whether you're poor, you're rich, you're average, this is for all and it doesn't have any requirement on who's eligible to own it. As long as you're able to buy and hold it, that's it.

actually much better than forex market imo. you need certain amount to join in the forex market, whereas, there's no min or max you can hold when it comes to crypto
Well, in most exchanges, there's a certain minimum amount how much a user can start trading to buy it.

1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to banned addresses? on: July 05, 2023, 12:03:29 PM
I have to say that there are still a lot of things I don't quite understand, although I try to read as much as I can.

For example, I don't understand what happens when an address is banned or blacklisted. Can't you move btc? Can't you do anything with satoshis on that address?

Thank you
AFAIK, no one can ban addresses but with exchanges, they can blacklist a bitcoin address or any address from other cryptos. They're doing that to control those stolen funds that's reported to them. That's part of their cooperation to whoever is reporting incidents like hacking to them.
That's gonna give the hacker a hard time if the address used for hacking is alerted to the exchanges. And if the hacker has already deposited using that blacklisted address, the fund will be on the custody of the exchange and the hacker won't be able to withdraw it.
1288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin maximum price on: July 04, 2023, 11:42:49 PM
We've got bunch of threads like this already on this section and you'll see people's thoughts and opinions on how much is gonna be the ceiling price of Bitcoin for this year. It'll end up with just assumptions and ranges because we don't know how the market will play at the end of this year.
However, it's most likely that we'll see the price ending this year positively but we will never know if the ceiling could be back close to the last ATH that we have been before.
1289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't consider yourself lucky on: July 04, 2023, 10:07:10 PM
Messages like this are prevalent in many apps like Twitter, Telegram, but it's a fairly old joke. But there are many people who are ready to take risks. Otherwise, it wouldn't be able to fool people continuously.
I have to remove the invisible link you've attached on this post of yours before replying.  Smiley
It's true that this can be found almost everywhere and these tricksters still manages a few people because they're not aware that it shouldn't be shared. It's not about them ready to take risk but it's about them that's not aware of what they're doing, that's why little knowledge is dangerous as they say.
@OP, I think you should change the image link and do it with talkimg.

1291  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What Wallet Do You Store Your Bitcoin? on: July 04, 2023, 01:43:24 PM
That's also my thinking before when I was still quite new to this market. But OP soon you'll understand why it is important that everyone here will tell you that it's best to hold your Bitcoin with the wallet that you're holding the private keys. Especially if the amount you've got is already a lot and already a life savings of yours. You know that these exchanges are vulnerable to dynamic changes and policies that's why you can't trust them wholly with your funds thus, the worst comes and they get hacked and you have no assurance you'll receive a full refund.

We would also be grateful if someone could suggest a way to reduce images when publishing without losing quality!
Usually with the images on the threads I made, I'm testing around the height from 300-500. You can check the threads that I've made and see if the size is what you think fits, like this one. And I've just fixed all of the images from my previous threads.

We have published a new exciting article! This is the third part and the continuation of one big thought!

Thank you for this article. I'm liking these articles as it's becoming a series and continuation. Great job!  Smiley
1293  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is happening in France? on: July 04, 2023, 09:54:24 AM
At first, I have no idea of the current issue there until a video popped up on my feed and I saw police moving forward and they're on a flock. And civilians that they'll bump to have to give them the way. These police brutalities will truly lead to these worst scenarios if it's not given the attention by the president or whoever is of hold to them. And much worse this could lead to civil war if no man at high shall stand in the midst of these people.

I am not sure how can such large protest can happen due to single incidence.
If taken seriously by large militant groups and the citizens combining their force, expect the unexpected.
1294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POST ALL PHISING SITES HERE (2023) on: July 03, 2023, 09:12:00 PM
Does a facebook account/page counts? I've seen one as an sponsored ad on Facebook and trying to make a fake ledger pre-IPO. I've made a thread[1] already on this one.

[1] Fake Ledger pre-IPO

And for visibility, the image is there but I'll also upload it here including the facebook page.

The scam/phishing page.
Code:
https://www.facebook.com/mmprotrust[/quote]
https://mmprotrust.com/
https://marketmaking.pro/trust/

I've just checked that they also have websites.

Of course the real one is https://www.ledger.com/ and they don't have a pre-IPO offer.

Any chance to fall below $30k bitcoin ?
Definitely.
Just always think of volatility that can pull the price down to the lowest that you can ever imagine. This is just a mindsetting so that you won't frustrate yourself if you ever have that high expectation and it didn't happen. And even talking about reality, $30k is still a price that's swinging and lower than it is not going to be a surprise if the price moves downwards. Until we see a major pump that shall move Bitcoin's price away from it and we're not seeing it for a very long time, that's how the confidence should one have on checking this market.
1296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The exit plan on: July 03, 2023, 09:52:57 AM
As a crypto investor that desire to make huge profit through Cryptocurrency, there is 100% need to know what exit plan is and how to effect it appropriately. I know most of us are not too experience in the Crypto line and it is best to learn from those with this experiencial knowledge.

To all experienced Bitcoin investors, kindly share your experience with us, let's learn and become expose to the reality and strategy before the next bull run. This is another means to help young investors like us.
What are your exit plan and what exit plan have you used that work well for you.
If you believe that this market is still young then there's no exit plan but that doesn't mean that you won't take profit, so distinguish those two things. Because if you're looking at the market and you're very optimistic that you're one of the many that shall benefit on it in the long run, you won't think of an exit plan but maybe for many bitcoin holders, a $500k-$1M worth of Bitcoin is the exit plan and that's when many are going to sell bunch of their Bitcoins. But as of now, there's really no exit plan. Take profits when you're ready and happy but do not forget to accumulate when you see some good entry prices and you've got money to spend.
1297  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this a Strategy? Is it a good Strategy? on: July 02, 2023, 11:17:00 PM
Public beef or fights involving billionaires, celebrities, or even top companies often puts them into the spotlight, attracting attention and generating increased traffic, hence, more income.
I get the idea that this is because of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk's potential fight.

Lol. Are you sure this isn't just AI playing tricks on you, like it is to so many every day on social media?
I've first read the billionaire and celebrity and those two were the first people that have came to my mind since they've made noise about their possible bout.

Or, maybe Elon started this because he can't live without clout, and Zuckerberg is a very easy target.
Possible, he's always wanting attention despite that he's already got it for owning several known companies.

Though, zuckerberg will never go into this, the idea is infantile and stupid..while Zuckerberg is a twat, a violator of our rights and a negative influence on the evolution of society to date, I doubt highly he is stupid enough to enter himself into a publicity fight.
From what I've read, he's trained physically and that's why he's obliging to make this bout happen. But you're right, this fight has something to do more than what we're thinking as public stunt.
1298  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Anyone knows bitstenproole.com exchange? on: July 02, 2023, 06:20:32 PM
@OP, that's not even a familiar exchange to majority here. So, I think that you know what to do if you're planning to trade there but there's also this thought of mine that this is likely a shill from a newbie account. Despite not being familiar to everyone here, you just tried to give some exposure on it through asking if it's a good place or not. I guess that you've just successfully made our curiosity hit but still, thanks but no thanks we won't trade there.

I get the idea that this is because of Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk's potential fight.

My question arises as to whether you think some or most of these conflicts are genuine or intentionally crafted/orchestrated by the parties involved to maintain their prominence and financial gains.
If it's mostly hyped on social media, I don't believe that it's a real fight. A beef is just a beef and its purpose is for clout chasing. This is very common these days so, don't believe with anything you see on social media even if gets reported by the media. But you also get to understand if it's an actual thing.

Also, could this be considered as a strategic element of their business or career strategy? And If so, is this a good strategy?
Yes and yes. Negative or positive publicity is still publicity for them. It's just all about of being talked about in the whole town world.
