2101  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Signature Ad Campaign Manager Wanted [Filipino Only] on: January 26, 2019, 06:51:05 AM
<snip>
Seems you are really eager to have members to your forum, well, running a signature campaign is a goof idea. Good luck mate Smiley.
I once became a participant on one of julers12 sig campaigns and I can say that he is a good manager. Credibility and Quality service is not a question at all. I checked his account and I found out that he's still active in this forum (even though I haven't seen him awhile ago). OP you can apply here
2102  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are You Afraid of KYC? on: January 26, 2019, 06:29:46 AM
Having a KYC when doing withdrawals from exchanges or digital wallets is not a problem I think because it was reasonable. Like on the digital wallet I used, it requires KYC because they only want to verify that the source of my income do not came from illegal stuffs and can have the power to hold my savings if that's the case, it was all fine for me. But saying that every ICO now requires KYC as well? Nah! That was too much already. I strongly disagree on that concept because I can't see any valid reason why they wanted to get the vital infos of their buyers.
2103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO'S Scamed since last year on: January 26, 2019, 05:07:35 AM
People at the moment do not trust new ICO projects because they are very poorly proven. The problem is the greed of the organizers of the scam ICO. This also applies to the market situation. We both know that we invested in ICO ETH. And the price of ETH fell very much.
ICO of eth? Are you pertaining to Classic Vision? If yes then sorry for you mate, that was not a legit hardfork of eth. Constantinople is the legit one and it does not offer new token at all. So don't get mad for dip on price of eth, get mad on the scammers who take the advantage of eth's upgrade instead.
2104  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Merit abused on: January 26, 2019, 03:30:16 AM

<snip>
Oh! This issue already happened very long time ago and the creation of this thread as well (which is very obvious with looking only on the date of the last post). I still remember hilariousetc's report about alleged Filipino merit abusers (which is proven true). If you got embarrassed then me too of course. iIt really sucks because I can feel the disgrace that time even I'm not the guilty one.

Anyway, past is past. Let's serve this as a lesson for all of us and do not commit such things anymore Smiley.
2105  Economy / Speculation / Re: Anyone else think "long term" hodlers are idiots? on: January 25, 2019, 01:42:12 PM
For me, long term holding is not an idiocracy it was only the product of not having an option. As you will noticed, most of the long term hodlers are small investors only. They don't have any choice but to hodl because that small amount of money in their hands is all they hand thus cannot afford to lose it. Even some of them want to try trading, unfortunately, they still can't because their money might not be a good starting capital.
2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10, Blockchain Keystore Ethereum Wallet on: January 25, 2019, 11:51:21 AM
I haven't seen any notices of Samsung on their social accounts about this.
Me too, I haven't heard any news about Samsung's crypto adoption so high chances that it is fake. I just wonder what is the motive of the prankster/s for doing this? For shilling eth? No one knows Huh.
2107  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MAY CHANCE BA NA MADEFEAT NG XRP ANG BTC BILANG TOP 1? on: January 25, 2019, 10:04:54 AM
For me it's not impossible but only nearly impossible. We can't remove the chances for the alts to beat btc. However, xrp is very far away from btc, if we will look on the current market cap of both coins, xrp not yet even reach 1/4 of btc's market cap. And this is very hard to equalize or surpass because of the mere fact that btc greatly influence the market.
2108  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AMA (Ask Me Anything): The current state of Bitcoin in the Philippines 🇵🇭 on: January 25, 2019, 06:39:51 AM
One thing more, what is the reason why Cebuana Lhuiller will not accept cash-outs from COINS.PH? Will start on March 2019.

Can I ask what your source for this was?
Actually, I'm also looking for an article regarding this about few minutes ago but I can't find one. But as far as I remembered, I already read a post about this in our local board section and what I've understand is that Cebuana Lhuiller will focused more on XRP that's why they will no longer accept btc withdrawals soon. For me it makes no sense because why they will remove one of their sources of revenue Huh
I don't want to learn how to use Palawan Pawnshop or LBC... I heard they're pretty inferior.
We can say that Palawan Pawnshop is inferior since it's new in their field of industry but when it comes to LBC, Nah I don't think so. It is also a competitive remittance center/delivery service provider in our country, you can guarantee a quality service from them.
2109  Other / Meta / Re: What if someone is wrongfully banned for plagiarism? on: January 25, 2019, 05:09:34 AM
Just a few months ago someone was banned for plagiarism, but after a more thorough investigation it was determined he had only made a mistake while quoting someone else's post.  That account was restored.  It happens, some one might be wrongly accused, but the account can be un-banned.
This is an alarming case but thanks to our good mods that analyzed the situation by their own first and do not just let the complainant influenced his decisions Smiley. From now on I will be more careful when quoting someone's post because I admit that I am careless sometimes when enclosing the quote (I'm not aware sometimes that I forgot to include brackets)
2110  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you describe the situations of the crypto market today? on: January 25, 2019, 03:47:11 AM
<snip>

Cryptos arent in red but actually majority of them are now in green and showing signs of life  .
Yeah they continue to improve, especially the Top 3 coins in the market, but for me it still not enough compare to the dips occured. Nevertheless, an improvemnet is still an improvement even how small it is. Good luck to us.
people can now start to earn small profits because market isnt dump too hard  .
True somehow but not for all of us. Day traders can make profits but for the small hodlers like me, I can't do anything about it. Maybe I'll just keep waiting 'til btc skyrockets once again.
2111  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Solar energy is the future. I want to save my planet!! What about you? on: January 25, 2019, 01:15:52 AM
Empty half the Earth of its humans. It's the only way to save the planet!
I do agree. In simple representation, humans are the cancer cells and the host is our Earth. The cancer cells slowly killing the host so if we remove the cancer cells then the host will survive and recover again. However, in reality, it's not that so easy. Of course we cannot cut the world population into half because it's immorral. So I guess the best option we can do is to act like a "less harmful cell" as much as possible and shift yourself into a white blood cell (I hope you get my point).
2112  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano na ang mangyayari sa bitcoin? on: January 25, 2019, 12:31:58 AM
Lumagpak na ng mababang presyo si bitcoin.
According to JP Morgan's analysts have further suggested that Bitcoin is likely to drop to around $2,400 and could even fall below $1,260 if the current cryptocurrency is trading at $3,595, down around 1.7 over the past week.
JP Morgan is one of btc's antagonist so why mind listening to him? It's all natural if he will create FUDs in order to beat btc down.

Anyway, if you believed in him then so be it. We have our own beliefs but for me I will not beleive in anyone's prediction unless it do come true. Don't get stressed out, relax and keep hodling Smiley.
2113  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bitmoneytalk.com - Filipino owned Social network on: January 24, 2019, 11:58:31 PM
I checked your website but I can't look on its content because you need to sign up first but anyway that's fine. When it comes to your sign up form, it looks pretty good and I love the part where you add a captcha and a simple symbol questions. This will definitely filters the bots and only the real crypto enthusiasts can enter the forum, nice move Cheesy. Wishing all the best for your website, I hope for its fast growth (maybe I will sign up in the near future). Good luck.
2114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin. on: January 24, 2019, 12:29:59 PM
ripple has taken its place as next to the bitcoin and this is very threatening to the ethereum because once ripple go high, ethereum might go low in the ranking of coinmarketcap.
Yeah! You're right. As we look into the recent status in the market, the market cap of xrp is now almost 1B ahead against eth and if nothings change the it's now possible for xrp to remain on the second spot in the long run. If ever what I've said happens (knock on the wood) then what a bad news for me since all of my current crypto holdings are now in eth.
2115  Economy / Speculation / Re: January...The Next Few Weeks Will Be Crucial on: January 24, 2019, 10:42:03 AM
We're sure that a negative decision could have Bitcopin trade as low as below $3000, but that's really good news because it's going to be the very worst we experience thais year.
I'll give you props for being an optimistic person. You can still find the silver lining in this situation, keep the attitude.

I can feel that the hype which can be produced by SEC's decision is not so strong like before so I guess even if the decision will be favorable on our side the market will not skyrocket. Actually, I'm losing hope right now because all of the good news this year (Th eth hardfork and this one) seems got no positive effects in the market. It's just so disappointing Sad
2116  Economy / Speculation / Re: The point of no return on: January 24, 2019, 09:47:39 AM
I think about 2.5K. If bitcoin passes this mark, I will start selling bitcoin in parts. But honestly, I don’t think Bitcoin will reach this level. I think that on the contrary, stable growth will soon begin. If growth is not within 1-2 years, then again, I will have to sell Bitcoin. I hope this will not happen!
Everything could happen, there's nothing sure when it comes to price of btc. Even it was the leading coin in the market chances for it to drop and lose its value is always there. However, you are also right somehow, this will not happen as long as there are investors who believe to btc. So I like your idea of selling when you can't take the pressure any longer, that's the best move to save us from a total bankruptcy.
2117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRUECHAIN - VERY interesting alt! on: January 23, 2019, 01:06:54 PM
I dont believe anymore if someone declares a never heard coin as 'interesting'.
Because that line was already used many times before in tons of projects. That's why some of us no longer interested in new emerging coins because there is a chance that they'll end up as shitcoin again.
Everyday new interesting coin is created, but we cant invest into every coin. So what should do, believe in old estabilished coins or technically more inovative coins?
Depends on what you believe in and the guts you have. If you can afford to bite every ICOs in the market then so be it. There's nothing wrong of finding the right platform which helps you as a crypto enthusiast but if you just only want to play safe then go only with the top coins in the market.
2118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: poker and sport bet challenge. on: January 23, 2019, 12:00:21 PM
I am going to skip casino games for now. As a start I am going to focus on poker and sport betting.
Wow! Another crypto adapter was born Smiley. I hope you will have a happy and prosperous gambling journey (Well, I can see that you are doing well, congrats). I just hope you will not encounter withdrawal issues in sportsbet because I've read few complaints regarding this issue but I guess those are only isolated cases so don't worry.
Lets see what it gets. As a matter of fun and attract some followers and support I am going to share 10% of my PROFITS every week if profits are made of course.
Actually, this is not necessary at all but since you wanted to do this then I deeply appreciate it (For sure that others too). You're so kind, I hope you win more often in order to offer more help to the needy ones. God bless and good luck Smiley.
2119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories and Possible Solutions on: January 23, 2019, 09:47:09 AM
mosst of the people keep wasting their life time in the modern world because of technology gorwth like mobile phones and electronic devices.
Gadgets and all of the electronic equipments do not intent to harm us, they're invented to give comfort to humans of course. If you think that all technological advancements we had right now harms you then it's your fault already not the technology itself. It is either you misuse them or overuse them.

Looking fot life breakthroughs is a part of being humans, we are naturally curious and seek for what is the best and we can't do anything about it but to embrace. Even how hard or how fast we change, it doesn't matter, as long as you knew the difference between good and bad and you are self-discipline then I assure you that your lifetime was properly spent.
2120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to resist? on: January 23, 2019, 03:12:57 AM
For me, crypto trading has totally replaced gambling. I get the same adrenaline rush, but I win more than 90% of the time.
Not totally because people will never be getting tired of patronizing easy and fast ways of making money despite the possible consequences. There will always people who prefer that. I know that trading is also a form of gamble somehow and can be an alternative to it but the problem is that the fun isn't there unlike when you are playing games so you can't fully enjoy it. Nonetheless, trading is more strategic thus you can lessen your mistakes.
