1141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: January 31, 2020, 06:17:52 PM
No complains about it though, still another Filipino will have a crack at the monster. And Casimero has all the tools to defeat Inoue here. We might need to wait though, but I'm sure there's going to be a like of fireworks because of Casimero experience and his will to win against the odds.
Whooah! Casimero is the next who will attempt to tarnish Inoue's record huh? That was very interesting Cheesy. This young gun could be his long awaited time to shine if he beat Inoue which is bot impossible to hapoen to be honest. He is young as Inoue and on its prime compare to Donaire whose skills are slowly fading away. This will be definitely a close match, however, for sure Inoue will got the height and reach advantage as well as the odds since he was the champion. Thus, Casimero should work harder because the only advantage I see in him is his speed bit that's not enough — he must become faster and agile than Inoue.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance to help Coronavirus victims on: January 31, 2020, 01:19:15 PM
Binance has been doing charity work for a long time and I don't think it's surprising that Binance is raising more funds for the current corona crisis. Their actions deserve appreciation because they not only focus on the business they are involved in but also focus on social aspects
Definitely, and the fact that they can donate that big amount, that pretty tells that they are really profitable and they are not faking their volume.
Honestly, this is my first time to hear such kind of news. How generous CZ is, now I admire him more because in all fairness he don't got blinded by the greed of money. This is a solid proof that there are still big businessmen who doesn't forget to those people below (like Elon). I think this is really a great move for him because 1million is a small thing compared to the good feedbacks and stronger trust given by users of Binance. In short, it is a win-win situation Cheesy.
I've seen a lot of trading sites that has billions of trading volume but does not even care for the community unlike Binance are doing.
Well, sad to say but we can't do anything about it. It's really up to them whether they help or not because we cannot push them to help if they don't want to Sad. True helping is not a feel of obligation, it should be done from the bottom of your heart.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Priceless" Bitcoin commerical on: January 31, 2020, 08:19:41 AM
It's time for revenge. We should create some jokes about gold.

"I didn't forget where I buried my gold.My gold forgot where it was buried!"

"I have gold, but my bank don't wants to give it to me.They forgot my password."

"I have gold, but no Mcdonalds or KFC accepts gold payments,so I'm starving to death."

Wouldn't affect him. He was too busy creating false information about Bitcoin to think of the possible consequences (being embarrassed by everyone).

The man has a net worth of +$70M. No matter what anyone says, he's going to be against BTC and pro Gold.. that's his business.
Nah, of course a single or even few people won't affect him at all. But if all of us help each other and unite in order to protect btc then it will be a great thing to shut his mouth. If he wants war, then let's give him war Grin.

By the way, here's my entry. Saying "Old but gold" is out, "Old and outdated gold" is in. Hahaha lmfao Grin.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will the Milwaukee Bucks Make history? on: January 31, 2020, 06:26:01 AM
Beating Lakers' record? It is possible no foubt abaout it. But beating Warriors' record, I'm not sure right now. My God! That was 73W - 9L :O, (Honestly, I was shock to know how great they are during their prime days). For me attaining such record doesn't require strong efforts alone, high luck is definitely needed Grin. Anyway if I based on what I feel right now, I might say that they can't continue their winning streak once they go with the playoffs. I have no explanations, just a gut feel tho.
1145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you holding Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2020, 12:21:30 AM
For now, i'm holding my bitcoin.  because according to several sources and signals.. bitcoin is believed to be experiencing an upward trend in prices, as happened in previous years..  and of course, i don't want to lose that moment.
I feel jelous because you're able to preserve your bitcoin before the halving comes while me I already spent most of it Sad. I don't have any choice but to do so. Well, at least my money will proceed to a sensible thing and not just for wants or luxuries. However, I still can't help myself regretting my actions and overthinking "What if btc will skyrocket soon?" etc. etc.

Good luck to all of you guys, I guess I'm missing the boat for now but I hope I can catch up ASAP.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 30, 2020, 11:19:33 PM
https://www.slamonline.com/nba/aaron-gordon-commits-to-slam-dunk-contest/

The 2020 All-Star weekend is coming soon, two weeks from now and we have Aaron Gordon confirming today that he will participate in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest (joining Dwight Howard and Derrick Jones Jr.).  Since the event is in Chicago, do you think Zach LaVine will enter the contest too? The 2016 dunk contest battle between the two was pretty damn good. I'm sure Gordon would want a re-match. (fingers crossed)
Wait, what did you say?! Howard will join again? Wow! That's the spirit Cheesy. What I think is that he is already old for this contest — the Superman is no longer on his prime. But to be honest he is in a better shape today comparing before so who knows what he can still offer to us. I'm really excited to see him aiming for a free throw line dunk omce again Smiley.
1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The next action of Old man McAfee on: January 30, 2020, 10:45:04 AM
I can't say anything but to laugh Grin. I can strongly feel his anger towards bitcoin, a thing which makes me laugh harder. Haaay! How unfortunate for him for thinking that believing in him would be that so easy. We are not kids who are believing in someone's tale anymore. Anyway, if I were you stop wasting time with his drama. Just continue your usual business, let's grind until btc reaches its new ATH so that McAfee will live on shame Grin.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: January 30, 2020, 07:29:47 AM
Me? Actually I'm not gambling for quite a long time because of hectic schedules Grin. I don't have plenty of time for such kind of entertainment. But if I have the chance to do so then there's no way that I will not place a bet lol Grin. I gamble also when I get along together with my friends or see carnivals where I can play dice. I also buy lottery tickets when I'm in the mood (actually I bought one last 2 days as far as I remember Smiley).
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 29, 2020, 11:20:04 PM
I noticed that the person behind managing the news section for PBA.PH always delay on posting fresh news updates even its already out on other sources and even on the TV news.

They'll have to improve that because it's the official website and it should be more updated compared to other sites.
Also, I notice that live streaming are not already in the website, you have to search in their facebook channel to watch, I don't know why they keep changing, the first one which is youtube like streaming was way better as its faster.
That's what I hated the most when it comes to their live streamings. I also wonder why they shift to FB Live Sad. Before, I can watch the whole game even in very high resolution wothout worrying too much in my data expenses because I've got a promo with 2GB free Youtube but now I only watch during the last 2 Quarters of every game and also only with my favorite match ups Sad. Maybe the main reason for such act is the number of population on the social media being mentioned. Even without showing any statistical proof, I believe that there are more FB users than Youtube users.
1150  Economy / Speculation / Re: corona virus & bitcoin market on: January 29, 2020, 04:32:39 PM
What does corona virus have to do with bullish bitcoin ?? any effects
Like what mostly said here, I don't see that corona virus got to do with the recent uprise of bitcoin price. You know what, actually what I expected is that the price will fluctuate downwards because we all know that China is a big part of our crypto community so since they are now facing inactivity then so as the price. But it didn't happen so it was a good news for us afterall — btc continue to rise which means the spread of virus really don't affect the market Smiley.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 29, 2020, 01:14:12 PM
It will be a different playoffs now for the Bucks as Giannis can shoot threes now.
The question is, if he will be given a good looks, their opponent knows his capabilities, last playoffs the Raptors put good defense on Giannis but putting two defender on him and sometimes even 3 and that made him struggle, so as the whole team.
It still depends on how tight the double/triple team defense. If this could be very effective then you can definitely freeze Giannis. However this is a very risky move on the part of the opposing team because a wide gap of space will be created which can take advantage by his teammates especially their gunners like Middleton and Korver. But if you will not double team then he will get easily go through the basket. Hmm, for sure coaches from the other teams are now having headache in making strategies hahaha Grin.
1152  Economy / Services / Re: BestChange Bounty and Signature Campaign on: January 29, 2020, 12:56:46 PM
Thank you for this week's payment manager Smiley. I just wonder why you still have neg trust at this moment despite of being transparent to us Huh. I just wish you all the best.
1153  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments creating digital currencies - Threat or Opportunity? on: January 29, 2020, 10:50:34 AM
Some governments recently try to create their own crypto currencies (e.g. China), according to reports. Some welcome this as a good step towards mass adoption of cryptocurrencies, others don't like it. Still, the crypto media welcomes this and we should consider whether this is good news in general or not.
Whatever we'll say, at the end of the day a crypto adoption is crypto adoption. This thing never become a negative thing for us but a blessing instead Cheesy. Maybe the people who get mad at such news is mainly pro bitcoin or other alt supporter. But I can't blame them, even me I would prefer that our government just allow the use of bitcoin instead of a new token. Nevertheless this was a great news.
What would be your opinions be on this? Should more and more governments create their own digital currencies and introduce them to their population or should we not support the creation of digital currencies made by governments?
I don't think that would be a bright idea because for sure most of those coins will just end up in the shitcoin list due to lack of demand. For example, I'm a Filipino so tendency I will only buy PHcoin and not Germancoin; but the sad thing is our population is less compare to other countries so it will result to lesser demand thus smaller price. (I hope you get my point Grin).
1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remove the bad influencer from your life! on: January 28, 2020, 11:50:54 PM
Best thing is to learn to trust your instincts when it comes to crypto market or anything generally Most time once you do your research and other findings I think is just depends on your and the strategy you take The problem with most people is not trusting yourself You are going to have daunt and that happens to everyone so best just take the move and believe in it
Yeah, in crypto it's like "No guts, No glory". Each one of us are risk takers here so all of should have a brave heart in every coin/asset we are hodling or trading. However, of course you should also take into consideration the coin you are holding in the first place. Just make sure it is worth fighting for Cheesy. If you know to yourself that what you are holding right now had a great future then continue but if you are now feeling that there's no progress then it is understandable to quit now in order to avoid further losses.
1155  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest 2000 People richer then poorest 4.6 billion on: January 28, 2020, 02:50:10 PM
rich people are not always highly educated, rich people tend to have high speculation, where they must always look for business fields to develop their assets. whereas poor people tend to think about the needs of their suppliers, so they must be brave enough to take risks to get out of their zones
Indeed, I believe the same thing. Here in our country, there's a businessman which now have a very big company (the SM Corp.) but once became a shoeshine boy when he was a child. See? His life when he was a kid is not as good as we had right now and yet he succeed in life. This only proves that you can do everything if you are really a hardworking, persistent and courageous individual. You know what, I sometimes believe that having high educational attainment doesn't necessarily mean that your future was secured already because it will be pointless if you are not "madiskarte at maabilidad sa buhay" (hmm street-smart or also witty in other words Grin).
1156  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: January 28, 2020, 12:27:55 PM
At the current state, bitcoin is still playing in the $9k mark. Good news for all of us because this is a sign that our market is getting alive once again. However, I also don't think this is the right time to celebrate because the price is just $9504+ so I expect the resistance won't be that so strong yet. But the good thing is it continue to rise. I just hope more good news will come this 1st quarter of 2020 because recently things are not going out so well Smiley. (e.g volcanic eruptions, broad wildfires and the recent epidemic)
1157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 28, 2020, 07:55:33 AM
Even disregarding the money talks here, or even if I have a supernatural power of luck, I still don't see myself reaching my dreams through gambling. I mean it is not fulfilling like a decent profession can do. I would rather choose to work 7x a week as an engineer than be a gambler all year long Grin. Because life is not just all about money, doing what you love and what makes you happy is more important.
That's for you because you love your job, actually I also feel that when I was still new in my job but when time comes I realize I  won't never become rich if I only rely on my salary, so I try to find ways to fast track my financial success and gambling has been one of the option I found, but hey! I am not saying I am a successful gambler today, I am still continuing my journey though, as long as I am doing it, I still have a chance.
That's a great move, what I'm only saying is that I can't see myself living solely because of gambling profits Grin.

Just a correction, I'm not yet a licensed engineer but very soon. I'm about to take the board exam this Feb. (push me luck Smiley). Whether I pass or fail, I will find a job related to the degree I finished anyways Cheesy.
1158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 28, 2020, 06:01:20 AM

Manny has loosened a bit in terms of speed and punch volumes and even strength but still has got it.
That's because he is already aging, but in his last fight he beat a young and undefeated fighter.
That's understandable tho. But if you will compare him to the others with the same age, you will find him amazing. Maybe you might also wonder why he still got a stamina and power of a horse despite of his age Cheesy.
Conor can take punches but that is the downside of it all. He'll end up with bruises and swelling and cuts with this match unlike his previous one with Mayweather. If this funny fight turns into a reality, he better be knocked out.
I don't know if he can take punches from Pacman, he hasn't knock out an opponent lately and I would be happy to witness it in this fight.
Manny should win easy.
Well, I think Conor can take punches from Manny there's no doubt about it because boxing gloves are thicker than MMA and besides he can also take elbows, knees and hammer fists from UFC so punches won't be a problem for him. What I'm worrying about is his cardio. No offense but I doubt he can't stand all 12 rounds lol Grin.

1160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Safe Haven for Your Money? on: January 27, 2020, 11:48:49 PM
Double clickbait  Roll Eyes. It is better to be more focused, OP explains the important points of the article and video, so that we can more easily carry out discussions and if there are things that need to be understood then include the link. That's more polite I think.
I also could not take the main points of the article and had to open the video for more detailed information. But it seems that I can understand the meaning a bit, so I'm just saying that Bitcoin is a high risk, so nothing is really safe, we have to be prepared to face all risks, theft, hacking, fraud, etc.
Thanks for saving my time dude Grin. Actually I'm about to open the link already but I suddenly decide to see the last few comments first. But you what, I agree to you. Crypto can never be a safe haven for money savers out there because this market is so volatile. Who would try to save money on such thing? No one of course! Investing to crypto is a risky game, it's either you gain or you lose. If you just want to make your money retain its value then go to the conventional way — the piggy bank; or you can make a savings account Smiley.
