2101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wave of gambling may end with COVID recovery? on: March 26, 2021, 02:21:45 AM
Perhaps? I have searched a bit in google trends to search for a rough statistic regarding "online" or "gambling" searches and it clearly show that it had a sharp decline after the month of July. Currently, though, we're not seeing a massive jump of interest worldwide maybe because some countries are able to get back on track, therefore people has now job to do on a daily basis.

2102  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mycelium or Coinbase wallet on: March 25, 2021, 07:07:44 AM
I'm disappointed that this is coming from a high ranking member of this forum, coinbase gives zero control over your coins when you download and start using their mobile wallet, mycelium wallet is different in this area which makes it a better wallet over coinbase wallet
Perhaps, @hosseinimr93 is talking about the coinbase wallet that we can download for free in google and apple store. It is also clearly stated in their FAQ's. It's definitely independent to Coinbase Exchange. However, of course, even if it claims to be a non-custodial wallet, storing a large amount of bitcoin on your smartphone entails a lot of risk.

Coinbase Wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet and DApp browser controlled by you and only you. This means that the private keys (that represent ownership of the cryptocurrency) for your Wallet are stored directly on your mobile device and not with a centralized exchange like Coinbase.com.

Hi again!

I'm not quite sure if you can also utilize your designing skills to create an artwork or even a graphic design/ digital drawing because I honestly forgot to tell you that there is an ongoing art contest. Perhaps, you could try making an entry so that you can also practice and be able to have a chance of winning.

i want to deposit from binace wallet, USDT
binance asks what network jack club uses, so i select TETHER-OMNI network , but it replies

..The address does not match the currently selected network, it is recommended that you switch to another network.
Just to add.

USDT has 3 different chain types. These are OMNI, ERC20 and TRC20 as shown from the choices that Binance gave you. And remember that these networks aren't interoperable, meaning to say, you can't use the other network for deposit and withdrawals over the other, otherwise it would just result to accidental losses.

OMNI - has and address that begins with a number 1 or 3 and is under the bitcoin network
ERC20 - Starts with ‘0’ and  ‘x’ which is of course under the Ethereum Network (which is your case)
TRC20 - always begins with a capital T under the Tron Network and has the lowest transaction fee.

If you are talking about crypto trading thing, then using the link above should do, although I would also recommend you watch some videos made by trading with Rayner Teo, .....

Hello, thank you for sharing his youtube channel. Perhaps, it could be a good alternative to learn some of the concept he is using during trading. As far as I remember, though, I think Rayner Teo have been mentioned in one of COTTONCANDYTA's live morning show in twitch  and that's the reason why I think his name sounds familiar.

COTTONCANDYTA also has interactive quizzes that you can answer to properly instill the lecture he had taught in his youtube videos. It may come in handy as a referesher or an introduction for beginners and experience traders. Wink

He is currently live in twitch!

2106  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Cashout CS:GO Skins to Bitcoin on: March 24, 2021, 05:46:12 AM
From what I have found these two are some of the best platform that you can use to sell your CS:GO Skins.

Other members have also asked the same question on how these platforms differ from each other so I think it would be better to check them out before using them.

I don't think there is a viable solution other than finding a job that lets you earn cryptocurrency. You can go to reddit and see if you can find freelancing jobs that accepts crypto though. Or If you have lots of spare time then you can just offer some of your skills to create services.

I havent heard about this game before and I havent seen any sites provides this game so I can say that this game is not really popular.
No offenses for your suggestion but I do believe that no sites will add such non popular game because it wont really worth to add.
Having a new different game that is not available on other site is indeed a nice idea but it will be very hard to promote it in order to get players who want to play it.

Yep. I fully understand the complications in terms of publishing a new game in the gambling industry though and I know that it will be difficult to find traction nowadays especially if the game is not so popular. But you know it's just a suggestion because I have played it in real life and who knows if ever there are players who are also hoping to play it online using crypto.  Cheesy

Anyways, it's fun to see that the website has become more active these past few days and it even reached hundreds of active players yesterday.
2109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: £10K to invest for quick x2 x3 on: March 23, 2021, 04:49:55 PM
It's entirely possible however as everyone have said, you are most likely going to end up losing your funds especially if you've invested on a shitcoin whose hidden agenda is only to make money out of other people's pocket. Sure, there are lots of potential altcoins or tokens that can give you a decent amount of profit however it could take a lot of your time researching for development team, their whitepaper etc..

I think the key takeaway here is to outsmart them in a  way that even if their project seems to be legit, you need to have their token dump as fast as possible after they've listed it on a specific exchange. Once you have done your due diligence, get out of the trade once you have make some profit even if it's just x2.

Hi! @JacksClub,

Are you still open for game suggestions? Actually, I have created a thread here before that ask where I could find a similar game called Acey Deucey, also known as Yablon and thought that I could share this with you to at least give you an idea what original games you can add in the next few months or years.

It's not a request though but just a suggestion.

Go to reddit and see if you can find freelancing jobs that accepts bitcoin.

Or maybe visit this link to see various type of strategies on how you can earn on various tasks

Just a heads up, earning btc is similar on how you can earn your local currency. If you find yourself earning fiat then you can just simply convert them into bitcoin every time you got paid.
2113  Economy / Exchanges / Re: uniswap - Has anyone used this exchange yet? on: March 22, 2021, 07:23:17 AM
Approving a token for you to be able to use uniswap comes with a transaction fee as well and perhaps it could be the reason why you are unable to "Approve ESS" token since you have insufficient amount of ETH in your metamask. Unfortunately, though, you need to have gone through expensive tx fees along the process before you can successfully swap your token to ETH. Supposedly, a permission window should appear immediately after you have clicked the "Approve" button.

I am not just certain if that's the issue since uniswap only cost me for about 1-2 USD of ETH before I can get to approve the token. It could be higher now especially that the ETH network is congested.  Huh

Yes!

There is one time I have my service thread got locked -- maybe because of my repeated "bump" in one day, but I still managed to unlocked it.
2115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 🎥 [VIDEO LIST] debates about Bitcoin & Cryptocurrencies (updated: Aug 23) on: March 22, 2021, 04:23:29 AM
Bump. I'm a huge listener so this thread is going to need a huge content update from the stuff I watched. But should I even bother updating this? Are people even interested? I assume demand is low due to people not interested with watching 1hr+ videos.
Yeah, I think you should. Some of the debates listed here are now prohibited for a public access.

Your thread always serves as my "go to" link whenever I found myself having lots of free time at my disposal or whenever I finished all my academic works during the day. Watching debate is always a good alternative aside from listening to podcasts.

2116  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to start as a beginner? on: March 22, 2021, 03:11:40 AM
I am also a beginner in BTC. Are these youtube videos reliable? There is so much video out there. Do you have a channel you would recommend that is trustworthy? Thanks

This.

I have been following Andreas Antonopolous' videos for about a year now and it still fascinates me on how he composed and explain the complex technicalities and concept of the bitcoin network in his talk and book publications. Look closely on how he intricately explains the technology without having any bias of the information he provide.

Aside from Andreas Antonopolous, though, Jameson Lopp also provides great articles and videos regarding crypto in general.

2117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Make sure you get legit bitcoin and its wallets, resources on: March 22, 2021, 02:42:24 AM
I get paranoid sometimes especially if I am not too sure of the site that I was looking for. Sometimes I end up doing nothing and forgetting about the search due to confusions that the result I might get into is not right even if there are reviews or feedback of it already to indicate that it was legit. I still will try to avoid it as when I get paranoid.
Just to add.

Bookmarking official websites especially for electrum may look simple but it will always come in handy specifically when you decided to update your wallet. This method will not just save you from wasting lot of time but also reduces the probability that you are entering a fake/malicious website. But still, even if you have bookmarked the webpage, verification is always a crucial step in which you would not want to skip along the process.
2118  Economy / Gambling / Re: |>> cryptnroll.com <<| Bitcoin JACKPOT game on: March 22, 2021, 02:00:51 AM
Can anyone suggest on the "ability to verify that your game is provably fair", currently working on that. Maybe some preferred methods
@webtricks fully explains the gist on how one can identify the fairness of every roll and how does it happen under the hood. I am not just sure on how you can properly integrate the verification to your website but you can still have a rough idea about the program algorithm. You can also check other lotto based game to get the gist on how they applied in their site.

Ps. Apologize for accusing you that you have copied your T&C, I just didn't know that such service exist. Wink
