2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect scam token on Binance Smart Chain on: February 17, 2022, 01:36:35 AM
I somewhat agree with what ItsNotSean said, and it's something like that. It's almost always going to be a cautious approach towards what you will invest in BSC. They do it because it's the easiest way to create a new project, and the fees are more minor, superiorly way less, than ETH, so that's why "possible scammers" use BSC. I think it's good to be generally skeptical towards the project, but it's essential to invest in things you think will be valuable in the long run.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING: JPMorgan Is the First Bank Into the Metaverse. on: February 16, 2022, 06:35:40 AM
This interests me because it could start something that hasn't been explored too much yet (in terms of its technology) with blockchain technology and actual ownership of stuff. Everyone could stay in the metaverse or something like that.

Maybe if there's a summary of why businesses should go on to the metaverse, it could propel the technology even more.
2103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get average price of cryptocurrency for given timeframe on: February 16, 2022, 03:00:51 AM
I will just use this to identify my profits on a staking/P2E platform which I am able to earn their utility token. I want to know the price for a given time so I can compute if I already earning profits after my starting capital funds.
I see. So you just want to see it in terms of ~paper profits~ or not the realized position right? Then maybe once you get the actual realization of the profits then you would really see the gains that you have made. I now get why you have to average it.

Why not manually get it but you just have to put in the time? Like get the opening and closing in a candle then depending on what time range you have, that's just the total amount of number as the divisor.
2104  Economy / Economics / Re: UK makes first seizure of NFTs in tax crackdown ($ 1.9 million fraud) on: February 15, 2022, 11:32:16 PM
That is a lot of work. Escaping something like tax wouldn’t be so easy and you would still get caught. I’m just worried what effect It could give to the cryptocurrency economy, like how the people of the UK would see NFTs now and how it's being used.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum whales bullish on Shiba Inu price on: February 15, 2022, 04:01:20 PM
Oh no. Topics like this makes me feel like I want to go in with the market. Just try to risk something that I'm comfortable with and it's going to be a gamble. That's how trading works right? Lol. Anyway, I'm not sure why they are trying to pump it again. I think it could be a great asset (if it makes you profit) and if you continue to purchase it and if you believe in it.

They couldn't probably have the guts to diamond hand it all the way, they are just probably going in for a quick buck.
2106  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit.com, they do not pay winnings on: February 14, 2022, 09:10:18 AM
Check this thread out. You would be surprised what you can learn with this.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266815.0

Don't play with that site anymore. It would eat your capital alive.
2107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ADA basically useless on this forum for payments? on: February 14, 2022, 08:44:02 AM
It probably would depend on the person receiving your payment. If they believe that they would benefit from receiving payments in ADA, then they would. Just post it or something and maybe someone would be willing to trade their services with ADA. It's a great asset to hold so I don't think it would be hard to use. Just use the altcoins section if you are going to use it or offer services etc.

For the forum, the official coins here being accepted are BTC and GRIN IIRC.
2108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get average price of cryptocurrency for given timeframe on: February 14, 2022, 06:22:21 AM
Any idea on how you would use it? Would it be like a baseline towards what you could make a support/resistance on a specific timeframe? Or probably correlating it with data that could've caused a drastic change and made the significant market turn around or something like that?

Would it be something similar to that?
2109  Economy / Economics / Re: Now who are the owner of Bitfinex hacked Bitcoins which are now recovered? on: February 14, 2022, 05:21:54 AM
The people who were affected should be the ones who get the hacked BTC's. It's important to have the recovered coins to comeback to the original owners because that's how they are going to regain trust towards the community again and that's how they can be more famous with the exchange. Even if it was years ago, they should've given something towards the people who had been affected.
2110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WSJ: How the Feds Tracked Hacked Bitfinex Funds on: February 12, 2022, 09:34:45 AM
I would've wanted to read the whole article, but the subscription is getting in the way. Anyway, I just read your post instead.

I'm not that surprised that people are using NFTs to cycle money or something like that, and it just makes people lose trust in something so innovative and make people own it. Don't get me wrong; I'm all in the idea of absolute ownership of digital goods; it's just that there's always going to be a "bad light" towards crypto, and it's always going to be like that.
2111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of blockchain gaming on: February 11, 2022, 09:37:35 AM
I do think that the future of blockchain games is just starting. Many gaming companies probably don't want to share the control over the game itself, but I think it's the fairest thing that developers have done towards games, and in that way, it's going to be shared in some way.

So now, your question is, if the player is playing it for fun or money. That would depend on how much the player needs it, and the part that it could be the next great thing is a bonus.

They might get overrun with the idea that they would stick to how it should be. I think it's an inevitable change.
2112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc and future value on: February 10, 2022, 07:08:48 AM
OP probably has 325BTC from before. :O Maybe bought for $325 then became 325BTC.  Shocked

You have probably done better wording on this because it's confusing, but if you HODL BTC, nothing is ever going to change but the corresponding value of BTC in the market, but the amount you hold wouldn't increase. The amount of money will vary if we are talking about BTC rates.
2113  Other / Meta / Re: A bug on post count on: February 09, 2022, 08:23:26 AM
I thought it would be like the activity count or something reverting back but probably it's just the processing of data in the forum. Just like what the other says. It's not just him if you look at other posters, in Patrol. There are some new posts that members haven't synced yet or something.
2114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $3.6 billion in Bitcoin seized from Crocodile of Wall Street on: February 09, 2022, 01:21:33 AM
So they are just in connections with the hackers and they are in charge of making the money clean and not traceable, right?

Damn, there is real stuff like this that would make you wonder what more there is in the world that is happening that we don't know of and they are just operating in the shadows.
2115  Economy / Economics / Re: Times Change! on: February 08, 2022, 11:01:23 PM
That's how people learn. It's hard to know which will bear fruit at the current time, but as long as you know what you are doing and you are not hurting anybody in what you believe in, I think you will be okay. The lost opportunity is the problem with this one, and you cannot turn back time now; all you can do is accept what happened and move on.

Is anybody else thinking the same thing about this? You cannot change the past anymore, and the only way to move forward is to acknowledge and move on.
2116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin thief on Bitfinex exchange caught? on: February 08, 2022, 09:07:37 PM
It's great that they have now been recovered; five years is a long time already. They could've moved or something, but the Feds managed to get them amazingly. They are getting better at it, which is good, so those affected in this hack could get what they deserve. Is that the next step for the exchange/fund recovered?

2118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you even want all your BTC to be anonymous. on: February 08, 2022, 02:53:44 PM
It's better to make everything legitimate to have no problems with the law, and everything that you have worked for will be gone if you hadn't done it the right way. It's better to remit everything needed because it's not going to haunt you, and you're not going to be worried if someone audits you or something. If you were to convert it at an exchange or something, I think that's where they can audit you or something.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's wrong with Coinsbit exchange on: February 08, 2022, 08:59:41 AM
This is coinbit.io right?

Have you tried emailing them with this contact?

support@coinsbit.io

Or joining their Telegram group in order to make sure that you are not the one in this case? Maybe you can find the possible answer in support group that they have and someone can help you and give you the solution.
2120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touched $43k, from $33k in two weeks on: February 08, 2022, 06:31:31 AM
There could be another downward trend for a while to fill out the gap that we had recently when we have reached the ATH. I think that it would be beneficial when you try to buy continuously depending on the trend that we have. It will be a hard decision if you take it as something like a sign; it can be your initial sign and buy in more as time goes by.
