May be only 5% of the US oil imports comes from Russia, but the figure is far higher for the EU. Also, the Kazakh and Turkmen oil is shipped through the Russian pipelines. No. The OPEC countries are not capable of rising their oil production. The only country having the spare capacity is Saudi Arabia, but even they have only the capability to raise their input by 1 million bbl/day. |

1. Plane suffered a mechanical failure, pilots managed to land it on water however due to damage it quickly drowned to the bottom of the ocean. The plane didn't leave debris behind or minimal debris is floating somewhere and we haven't found it yet

Why should Crimea citizens worry about recognition by U.S.? It's not their business. All these sanction threats are intended to prevent the demonstration of the fact that the inhabitants of the Crimea doesn't care what the U.S. thinks of them. Because it's a sign of their weakness.
