2121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone living with older people? on: January 18, 2023, 06:50:05 PM
It all depends on what you consider old. There is also a participant among us who, at 47, believes that it is too late for him to invest in bitcoin; at least he asked this, which means he doubted it.
If your seniors are very old, then just don't waste time on them. For these people, the computer is a worldwide evil, and everything that is not felt in their hands, namely money, is fraud and a waste of time.
But if they can help you with your investment, which I think is your problem, you need to explain it in very simple terms. There are participants among us who are now at a very advanced age, and these people are desperate Bitcoiners. Therefore, if you personally have an interest in telling your seniors about cryptocurrencies, do not despair; you can do it. If you don't need anything from them, don't waste your time.
2122  Economy / Reputation / Re: Ucy Merit Giveaway on: January 18, 2023, 06:28:32 PM
I had a good laugh. The OP honestly offers to exchange merit. The funny thing is that after reading his recent posts, one can guess that the OP is very religious. But the humor is that he will not do anything just like that. "I'm doing well, and you should thank me." Religion has become a very mutually beneficial enterprise in our time.

I need everyone to focus and understand what I'm doing. I notice it's easy to continue to convince people with Miracles. But remember the good works also. The proofs are numerous but we will provide more to ensure that no one is left behind. However, it's written that "many are called but few are chosen". Be sure to be part of the chosen and never miss this.

2123  Other / Meta / Re: Why the forum keep deleting my old posts? on: January 18, 2023, 06:24:28 PM
OP, you have to be careful about whether the topic to which you are replying is plagiarism or not. And also, answering a topic where the author simply copied the news and added a link is not always useful. Such posts will most often also be deleted by moderators, as they do not carry any value and are simply copied and pasted.
2124  Other / Meta / Re: What kind of links you like? on: January 17, 2023, 07:54:38 PM
I also support the OP. Links are dangerous nowadays, and no one can be sure that clicking on a hidden link will not get them into some kind of bizarre story. I always check the links that users provide on the forum, either by quoting them so that the link becomes visible or by opening it in another browser that is not associated with the forum.
By the way, just today there was a discussion about how you can steal browser passwords by clicking on a fake link. Is everyone sure where they clicked? Smiley

2125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 17, 2023, 06:42:00 PM
Not everyone is like that, OP. Someone keeps bitcoin because everyone follows the trend; someone keeps it because he has other means and doesn’t need money at the moment; and someone takes bitcoin calmly if it is necessary to exchange it for fiat, and he changes it without any regrets. I rather relate to the third point: I don’t make an icon out of Bitcoin; I don’t save to my own detriment, hoping that someday I will be able to get rich. I don't think that Satoshi created Bitcoin so that everyone around him would constantly say that it could not be sold. Some simply overexpose their holding, and at the right time sell themselves to their detriment.
Therefore, you do not need to be fanatical about everything; sometimes life ends faster than someone thinks of becoming rich.
Live here and now.
2126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: i am a housewife want to invest in bitcoin on: January 17, 2023, 05:30:04 PM
I'm assuming you're in the business of raising children, so are you at home? But even if this is not the case, it is quite possible that you have a lot of free time and a great opportunity to learn bitcoin gradually. I say this confidently because we are similar; I also sit at home for a while. Take your time with investments and start reading the forum. You can invest all your money and also lose it very quickly. Do not be seduced by quick profits; without knowledge, you are more likely to fail than gain. Therefore, sit and read, and only after that will you understand that it is not necessary to ask such questions as those that were asked. I hope that soon you will not doubt Bitcoin but will come here with strong confidence and good knowledge.
2127  Other / Archival / Re: Mass adoption: Naming my child bitcoin on: January 17, 2023, 06:31:46 AM
Definitely fishing. OP, what else would you do for money? If someone wants to advertise something, should children suffer from their idiocy? If I had been named after any discovery at the time of my birth, I would have simply hated my father.
But yes, if you go back to the heyday of the USSR, then you, OP, would be on the same footing with these idiots.

Technology and Sciences
The USSR actively developed science, so many parents borrowed their children’s names from science. For exampe: from athematics – Algebrina and Gipotenuza (algebra and hypotenuse), from physics – Om(Ohm), Elektrina (electricity), from chemistry – the names of minerals and chemical elements: Rubin (ruby), Granit (granite), Radiy (radium), Geliy (helium), Volfram (wolfram), etc.

2128  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be greedy – a short goose story on: January 17, 2023, 06:14:49 AM
In my country, this tale is called "The Tale of the Goldfish." We are taught from childhood not to be greedy, but for some reason, growing up, many forget about the first lessons. But it can also be said that we all have our ambitions. Someone is ready to stop at 10 percent of the profit, but for another person, this is not enough. You need the experience to understand all the risks. If you think that the market will always go up, you can get disappointed very quickly and not have time to sink to the ground from your illusions. Just set a goal for how much profit you will be satisfied with, realizing that you need to think rationally.
2129  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Remove Your Seed/Recovery Phrase From Centralized Password Managers on: January 17, 2023, 05:47:08 AM

Right now I'm using google chrome default password manager but my brother doesn't recommend it so they take me to Bitwarden that they say this was open source

I think your peace of mind about the safety of your passwords in the browser is just a matter of time. Even here on the forum, it has been written a thousand times that simply trusting the Chrome browser is the same as walking naked in front of an open window, so you also trust him with something that should be stored very carefully.
I will explain more clearly. Hackers need a little. You just need to follow the link they need, and it can be disguised as a completely decent and useful site. By clicking on the link, you will get something similar to an error; you will be informed that you did something wrong, then you calmly press the "OK" button and think that you have calmly left. But you have already sent the hackers all the passwords that were saved in the browser.

2130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your best advice/recommendations for a crypto beginner on: January 16, 2023, 04:23:40 PM
As pathetically said, it is a Herculean task. If you have money that, judging by the question, you want to invest, choose Bitcoin. But first, take the time to understand that all your investments can go to waste and that by investing, you are ready to lose everything. I think you understand the value of your money, and for this, you also need to understand where and how much you want to invest. Time is your best teacher; no one will give the right advice here; your teacher is experienced; we are all just outsiders who have different opinions; and the choice will always be yours.
2131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I feel happy on: January 16, 2023, 04:00:13 PM
OP, I'll touch on your age again for a minute. Why does he bother you so much, and why do you talk about him on every topic? How old is the current president of America? Have you thought about the age difference? For him, you are still a snotty kid.
But on the topic, to really enjoy your investment, forget about checking the price of Bitcoin for a while. Set a goal for how long you are willing to part with your money by investing in bitcoin and at what price you will be satisfied with the profit. While sticking to regular investments despite the price, you also need to understand that this time should be two to three years or more, a time when you can receive benefits that will be many times greater than your joy today.
2132  Other / Meta / Re: How many forum members do you know by real name? on: January 16, 2023, 03:18:15 PM
Having stumbled upon this forum quite by accident in the days when my main forum was not available, but I had the desire to learn more about this forum, I am glad that I did not register with the nickname by which I was known on the Internet. For some reason, I had a feeling that this is where anonymity would be welcome, and I see that I was not mistaken in this, giving full rights to the nickname generator to choose a name for me.
But yes, on the same social networks, I recognized several people here, both their real names and the names of their relatives. People who came here trusted their main Twitter account and Facebook data to bounty companies, and therefore, it was easy to find out what kind of person was behind the account (I'm not talking about fake data, but only real ones). But time teaches people, and of course, they deleted all data about themselves, which I think is absolutely correct. Be that as it may, our trust lists assume some kind of opinion about people we do not know, but we infer something about them from their behavior, whether we believe them or not.
2133  Other / Off-topic / Re: My Journey with Type-2 Diabetes on: January 15, 2023, 04:49:46 AM
It is strange not to notice health violations when a person is overweight. Everywhere there are indicators of normal weight for height and age, and if your weight exceeds these values, then there is probably a health disorder.

Type 2 diabetes just happens in obese people, and it is very strange not to notice your excess weight. Diet and the restriction of food after 6 p.m., as well as the complete absence of sugar or its restriction to a minimum, provide some insurance against this insidious disease. But people remember their health only when they have pain, as a signal that something is wrong.

High cholesterol, and as a result, high blood pressure, are always waiting for fast food lovers. It is rather strange that knowing all the ways to maintain their health, people are still "fighting" how to destroy it by using soda and fast food. It can be seen in this way that states are freed from stupid people by allowing such a business, as well as developing the pharmaceutical industry.
2134  Other / Meta / Re: Please permaban this scumbag. on: January 15, 2023, 04:12:56 AM
Poker Player, take this jerk as a forum buffoon. He really has a lot of negativity in his trust, so whenever he spits something out, no one will take him seriously but will only give him an additional cuff or a kick. He probably needs this, since all smart people do not see or hear him. I noticed that he is also ignored by you, and if the moderators do not ban his account, then let him get his portion of kicks; he needs them so much.
2135  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 14, 2023, 04:34:15 PM
I wonder why there's no one mention signature campaign while every users who make a reply wear a paid signature Cheesy

@OP I will tell you, many users are getting money in this forum through signature campaign, it's one of side job although some users might consider it as a primary job since few campaigns already run for 2-3 years.

Signature campaign pay for around $50/week which is really good for people who live in poor country e.g. third world countries. Those poor country only pay for $50/month for a job that need to work from 8AM to 5PM.

Side job or business do make money, make money = improve financial. It doesn't make sense why you're asking this question.

Well noticed. And given that the forum does not prohibit alternative accounts, and some have the opportunity to participate in different subscription companies, a part-time job can be called the main job.

But seriously speaking, now there is every opportunity to get a profession on the Internet, completely apart from your main job. Freelance sites will always have offers for designers, programmers, and writers, but it takes experience to be in demand. And this is precisely what is a direct factor in the fact that you can have an income that can become your pillow in these difficult times of crisis.
2136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Guide] How to Use Quote to clipboard on: January 14, 2023, 03:34:09 PM
There are other methods as discussed in this thread[1] though, but using the BPIP extension is the simplest to use among others. The other method involves the modification of the URL and the use of epochconverter[2]  which is time consuming.

[1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5204486.0
[2] https://www.epochconverter.com/

I'll add, for the first time, this seems to have been well explained o_e_l_e_o. And as a date converter, you can also use this site. https://timestamp.online/
Not everyone loves and trusts extensions, so self-quoting for the incredulous is the best way out.

It's still do-able with a minor work around which will take less than 20 seconds or so.

1) Navigate to the post you want to quote and click on its title. The page will reload with that post's message number in the URL (the last 8 digits). Copy these digits, but don't close this window yet.

2) In the thread you want to post the quoted message in, click on "quote" on any post. Once that reply page loads, paste your copied 8 digits over the 8 digits in the URL after "quote=". Hit enter to reload your reply page with the locked post quoted.

3) Go back to the window from step 1 containing the message you want to quote. Copy the 7 digits after "topic=". Go back to the window from step 2 containing your new reply, and paste these 7 digits over the 7 digits after "link=topic=" on the top line of your reply. This is to ensure the quote links back to the correct thread if someone clicks on it.
2137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sometimes more effort is what is needed. on: January 14, 2023, 03:22:13 PM

We all have to start from somewhere, everyone won't start at same level. I strongly believe it's better to start with little you have than never started at all waiting for when the big one comes before you wanna start. Trust me, I might end up waiting forever.
But as I have started am hopeful of going beyond $2,500 someday!

Sometimes it is useful to ask people for their opinion and, of course, draw your own conclusions. If you are a beginner, they will always be able to help here, and no one will reproach you for asking questions.
I agree about your strategy; while you are learning, you don't need to risk big sums. You can always earn more as you gain experience, so big sums will always be waiting for you if you are diligent and patient.
Good luck!

I hasten to congratulate you again, my friend! What I can say is that I have even more respect for you; you are not only a great reporter who works at the speed of light, but all your posts are good and quality content. It is evident that you are not indifferent to what you are talking about, and I want to express my deep gratitude to you. In addition to the fact that I see you as a very kind and open person, you are also a good poster. Talented people are talented in everything.
My respect!

is it normal to getting some post deleted like

I posted in quote to the other post (thanks)
and my post is deleted on this forum is it normal to get post deleted in quoting thanks or something small words

All deleted posts that were not of much use, saying thank you or a few one-line sentences, will always be treated as low-quality posts by the moderators. Get used to not thanking, instead, you can send merit if you find the post useful, and if you have nothing to give, then just take note of the information and that's it.
