1501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is $30 dollars worth starting bitcoin? on: April 19, 2023, 12:16:30 PM
There are people who wait long enough and ask if the time is right to invest in Bitcoin. So it’s better to start with a small amount today than to wait for a good hour and never wait. Usually, people who are waiting for the right moment do not dare to investst in Bitcoin. So it's better to start with a small amount today than to wait for a good hour and never wait. Usually, people who are waiting for the right moment do not dare to invest. 30 dollars is not a great amount, but at this time, the owner's motivational impulses become a good psychological factor to continue his investment. In addition, realizing that the amount is not large, the owner has a great opportunity to learn without the risk of large losses, which in the future can lead to the correct distribution of funds.
1502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the reason why Satoshi never made himself known to the public? on: April 19, 2023, 11:52:33 AM
It looks like the OP is equating ChatGPT with some kind of super-smart that knows something no one else does. More proof of how AI is taking over the minds of people who rely on robots as their last resort
OP, ask where ChatGPT can get such answers. And in addition, ask how many bugs and incorrect answers this artificial creature gave.
1503  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Believe is what you don't know. on: April 19, 2023, 08:45:06 AM

I don't want to sound religious but my point is that, I believed in the potential of Bitcoin and its forum/community to the point where be it my earnings come from my dedication and focus to it.

OP, even though you state that you don't want to be seen as a religious person, your post signals that. There is a difference; you create a religion out of Bitcoin, which to me generally looks like serving mammon. Once again, what does this phrase tell you? "You shall not make for yourself an idol."
But you mixed investing in Bitcoin with the forum in one post. What if you suddenly move away from the forum for whatever reason? Will your faith stay with you? After all, you are an investor, receiving a certain amount from subscriptions.
1504  Other / Meta / Re: Clarification on Plagiarism Rule and Policy on: April 19, 2023, 08:00:34 AM
In my opinion, the OP discovered the wrong topic for himself, which should excite him.
OP, it would be helpful to read the ban evasion rules, as that is the rule that will apply to you directly.
In addition, the second topic created by AI, I hope will be the final one in your stay on the forum.
I really hope for your ban.

There is no doubt that Bukele is a genius. What he did was show it. Get rid of the gangs and restore the peace that people need in their lives. El Salvador needs this man and hopefully he stays in power for years to come. In addition, El Salvador has decided to abolish all taxes on technological innovation for the sake of future economic growth.

This step is of course in line with the establishment of the El Salvador National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC), which is also known as the “Bitcoin Office”. Technological innovations such as software programming, coding, application development and AI, and manufacturing of computing and communication hardware will be exempt from tax in El Salvador, as President Nayib Bukele continues to embrace BTC for his country that wants to become a world country as a technological power and an economic power.

Hello, dear lovesmayfamilis
I want to give a little rebuttal to the case that you raised, which was just my attempt to help Dekleni, who at that time did not have his own exchange to cash out his BTC.  But I don't know if it can be considered wrong by some people in this forum, but in this opportunity I just want to apologize to you and beg not to be negatively tagged because I only made that small mistake and never made more mistakes  besides that, because now I'm trying to be better than before.

You have applied for participation with a dekleni wallet number; look at the date, despite the fact that your second account could not participate according to the rules of the subscription company.

https://ninjastic.space/post/61623942

Provided that the dekleni account itself has been inactive since December 15th.

You decided to participate with a dekleni wallet number, most likely by mixing up the wallet numbers, and this is understandable since owning multiple account profiles very often leads to errors.
I don't need to talk about help. The second account has a registration on a forum not far from yours, I don't think that for several years it just existed on the forum.

What leads cheaters to the bottom is always called cowardice and lies.
1509  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet security, a good choice of wallet is very important on: April 18, 2023, 08:22:25 AM
It's always so surprising that the first thing newbies want to know about is wallet information.
I was like that too, thinking that if there is a wallet, then bitcoins will definitely appear there soon.
OP, in addition, it is useful for you to learn how not to lose your assets and how to properly store and use wallets.
The forum is full of information; rushing here will be a mistake. Try to study everything slowly and consistently.

1511  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are hidden signs to look for when you're dealing with a Fraudster / Scammer on: April 18, 2023, 07:11:54 AM
First, you need to ask yourself how the scammer can contact you. Do you have contacts on Telegram or another messenger in the public domain? Do you have social networks that you have been running for a very long time and post a lot of information on there? By having social networks in your name and posting photos of yourself, your children, your home, and even a dog on them, you provide additional information that a scammer can later use, having studied your preferences and gaining even more trust from you.
In fact, you will never become vulnerable if you go online without expecting any contact from there. You don't need the ability to spot scammers if you proactively reject and distrust everyone who tries to contact you.
If you still believe in miracles and think someone will share their million with you, then know that scammers will do everything to one day talk you out of this by deceiving you and teaching you a lesson.
1512  Other / Meta / Re: This gets me worried, I think the 'Brains' in the forum should look into it on: April 17, 2023, 04:26:53 PM
OP, you could write your opinion in the thread you mentioned, which was created by nutildah.
I do not see much difference between the discussion there and what you say in your topic. I think that texts written by AI sometimes signal very strongly that the absence of various kinds of emotions can just determine that this is the work of a robot. Using Grammarly only corrects the speech that the person wrote. I think that's a big difference.
1513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Zaraza Bot Credential Stealer, or time to change the browser. on: April 17, 2023, 01:40:23 PM
In addition, it can be advised not only not to store passwords in browsers, but also to completely clear the entire browsing history and cookies when leaving them.
There is evidence that hackers have learned to extract passwords from cookies, as they are stored in the cache for some time (correct me again) and are not cleared immediately after visiting the site, which gives hackers time to get the password.

Quote
Credential-stealing malware is an integral part of the toolkit used by a wide variety of cybercriminals and other adversaries. While user account names and passwords are the most obvious targets of credential-stealing activities, the increased use of multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect web-based services has reduced the effectiveness of that approach. Attackers are increasingly turning to stealing the “cookies” associated with credentials to clone active or recent web sessions—bypassing MFA in the process.

Cookie stealing: the new perimeter bypass

Quote
The reason for cookie theft is straightforward: Cookies associated with authentication to web services can be used by attackers in “pass the cookie” attacks, attempting to masquerade as the legitimate user to whom the cookie was originally issued and gain access to web services without a login challenge. This is similar to “pass the hash” attacks, which use locally stored authentication hashes to gain access to network resources without having to crack the passwords.
1514  Other / Beginners & Help / Zaraza Bot Credential Stealer, or time to change the browser. on: April 17, 2023, 01:04:25 PM
I didn't find a post about this news, so it's better to be warned and be armed.
The latest news says that a bot called "Zaraza bot" has been created that can steal passwords from 38 known browsers. To be precise, it seems that all these browsers are based on the Blink engine (correct me if I'm wrong about all 38).

And it is these browsers that have become the focus of attention for Russian hackers, who sell their bots through Telegram. This is sold on Telegram and uses the messenger as a command and control server (C2, C&C).

"Once the program extracts login credentials from online bank accounts, cryptocurrency wallets, email accounts, and other important websites, it immediately sends all passwords and data to the Telegram bot."
You may notice that the Firefox browser does not fall into the list of victims. And also think about installing Linux systems.

Yes, I am uche6215 but I don't know the other user 👤 you guys are talking about, this is my only account and I have not been on this forum before I don't think I have broken any rules but I can say that some people dong like seeing new user on bitcoin talk, based on the kind of person I am today I don't think the so-called signature campaign can afford my bills and I don't need it at all because I work in an oil company, I only come to this forum to learn some stuff I don't know.
But on the other hand, how do you think that someone gets banned this forum and created another account with the same name?
Haven't you seen similar usernames before?
I won't quote anyone but this is all I have to say. I

It would be best if you closed the topic to avoid seeming even more ridiculous. Thus, you will at least benefit to the forum. Stop the subscription spam of people who stupidly unsubscribe without understanding the meaning of the discussion, and reduce the number of neutral reviews about your lies.

You just have to live for yourself, don't care what other people think of you. Others will always envy you when you are superior to them, and that you will see a lot on this forum. As long as you make money, you are rich, it doesn't matter what others say about you. By the way, congratulations on the number of bitcoins you are holding.

Yes, it's the way you conduct yourself on the forum that is a cause for envy, I "applaud" that. Grin Grin Grin Grin

You live in Nigeria, and got paid for your work in Bitcoin, why should we tell you if it's good for you or not?
What don't you understand specifically?
The only thing I see is that you are opening threads all over the forum that aren't really specific.
And yes, we still remember your blocked account.

1517  Economy / Reputation / Re: How secure are you when unknown user chats you up? on: April 16, 2023, 12:51:39 PM

However, there are genuine people online, but you must have to be with them for so many time in order to develop that trust and whatever you do online should be a teamwork and not expressely financial deals that will rely on one person to be delivered

Even here, I would be too pessimistic. You can call me a sociopath, but the people on the internet are not the people we meet offline. It all depends on the size of the victim. Scammers can seem like decent people for a very long time, and you can even do some business with them, but one day, something unforeseen will happen when a decent person turns into a very professional scammer.
Therefore, all other people's letters and other people's proposals that come from strangers must either be filtered with a magnifying glass or completely ignored.
I would even go so far as to say that chatting via telegram and accidentally clicking on links can lead to the full disclosure of your identity, and further problems can be expected as a result.
1518  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My experience navigating through this platform on: April 16, 2023, 05:07:10 AM

Thank you for the link. I have checked out the forums rule and the Nigeria forum, but I can't really locate where I can introduce myself.

I do not quite understand why you introduce yourself? You've come to the forum; you don't owe anything else. You must not give your name or any of your details, including your country or place of residence. The fact that you want to communicate in a certain local section does not mean that you need to declare yourself. People will see your presence; what matters is how you show yourself, whether you are really interested in the forum, or whether you appeared here by accident. In addition, I will add another link that can be useful to you for online privacy.

I do not think that the use of VPN is allowed to be used either to register or to log in.

I don't think the forum forbids changing the IP. How do you think people who were previously banned appear here several times? In fact, this problem is very easily solved; using a proxy, such as Socks5, and a VPN will quickly solve the problem with the blacklist. If the forum banned the use of TOR and VPN, then, for some reason, it seems to me that the number of registered users would decrease by three times.
1519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and Gambling on: April 16, 2023, 04:39:27 AM
I could not master the entire text, since in the first paragraphs I no longer agreed with the author.
I think that gambling is an activity that involves the hope of getting a win, it most often involves the presence of greed in the player. Moreover, people who are fond of gambling can be mistaken for not quite healthy people, since their passion for gambling sometimes goes beyond morality. People sell all movable and immovable property, relying only on luck.
Is there anything similar to Bitcoin? I think absolutely not. Anyone who invests in Bitcoin correctly makes all the analyses at what time, how much, and when it is better to invest in it. There is an analytics and a sober mind here, which cannot be said about gambling.
1520  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 14, 2023, 01:03:50 PM
I will certainly feel down also if this happens to me. It's a normal reaction. Money is hard to earn and if it's easily burned like that, it will really be painful. It would also make me angry.

It is good that you share it here. Let it out. Talking to somebody about it will surely be of help. At the end of the day, however, we have no choice but to move on. But it doesn't mean you won't have to fight for your money. By all means, report it to the authorities. Collect all the evidences and file a case in court. Not only do you need to get your money back, the scammers should also be caught, prosecuted, and jailed for their crimes. And also so that they cannot victimize other people anymore.

Of course, you will learn your lessons as well. Next time, enough due diligence should be made especially because it involves risking your hard-earned money. It's all right to doubt. As a matter of fact, always doubt!

I see it from a different angle. A person who has lost a significant amount will understand for some time why this happened and what to do in order not to receive such mistakes in the future, and his depressed state will be visible to others. You don't have to be a psychologist.
But pay attention to the enthusiasm with which the OP creates new topics on the forum, and most importantly, with what interval, and the topics of the new topics are completely different. Where is regret or despondency lost here? I do not see.
Fishing, fishing, and more fishing. Today, the emphasis is on pity.
