Looks like Yogg is going to cash it out/has actually sold it. I've messaged their legal team, which probably won't help, but it should at least get his account shutdown. Feel free to contact them as well. The more the better IMO.  Good job mate! I also sent an email to their legal team and linked this thread and added some information. Hopefully it helps and they will lock up his account before he is able to withdraw the money (if there is anything left - and not gambled away already). |

Fryx Finance Review: For my test of the Fryx Finance platform, I deliberately tested it as an unregistered user, because I rarely want to register for an instant exchange. If I do want to, I can just use a regular exchange like Binance or any other that offers XMR pairs. First impression: Short domain name ending with .finance, which is common for instant exchanges or other DeFi applications. Of course not yet as widely used as .com domains, but certainly fine here. Simple black website design, easy to understand (very cool logo! Looks nice! Thumbs up!). Even as a crypto beginner, you can see at first glance that this is a Monero/Bitcoin instant exchange. The instructions are understandably clear: you only need a Monero & Bitcoin address and you can start converting your coins right away. I guess there is no KYC? If that's correct, let the user know that you won't KYC them. Main menu and overview:The main menu is clear, but provides very little information. Instructions on how to use the platform are completely missing. There is no FAQ page. There is also no reference to the support to which one could contact in case of problems. In addition, there are no pages like ToS, Disclaimer, About Us, Privacy Policy, etc. While the latter can be tolerated, I consider the lack of a FAQ and the lack of support to be absolutely crucial for a working instant exchange. I mean: there are so many shady services out there and there is enormous competition in the market for instant exchanges. Very few users are likely to use a platform that does not provide basic information on how to use it or in case of problems. I mean would you deposit more than a few bucks to a website that's likely not going to offer any help, if something goes wrong with the transaction? I wouldn't tbh. That's why it would be nice if at least a support email and a short FAQ about the process of a transaction on Fryx could be added here. In terms of the time required for these updates, this is certainly within manageable limits. Transaction/Process:After you have entered your BTC and XMR addresses, you will get to the following transaction screen. Here you get a deposit address and a loading screen.  The overall look is very simple and provides very little information here as well. In my opinion, the following points are missing or could be improved: - How many confirmations are needed? Let the the user know before depositing, in case they don't have unlimited time. There is a difference if its 1 or 6 confirmations.
- What is the conversion rate? And how is it made up? Are you cheaper than other exchanges? If so, let the user know and provide a comparison to live prices on other exchanges, if applicable. Also it says "approximately", will the user get 2 XMR in the transaction or will he get less, if the rate changes? In other words, is the rate fixed for some minutes? Or can I get unlucky and get way less, if the price changes?
- How high are the fees in general and how high are the fees deducted for this particular transaction?
- What happens if the transaction fails or there is a bug with the website/plattform? No information, no hints that there is a support or what to do, if something goes wrong.
- What happens if I accidentally close my browser as an unregistered user? Is my uncompleted transaction then lost forever? I guess you can open the browser link again, and it works, but you need to let users know about that! Give them more information!
- What happens, if my transaction doesn't go through within a certain timeframe? What happens if its stuck in the mempool for weeks/months? Will there be a refund? Will the conversation rate change (I guess so)? Same here, more infos are needed.
- Is there a maximum users can deposit/convert? I only see about minimums, no maximums.
Speed:Most of the time, I use instant exchanges for small amounts, when I quickly need something. Waiting for 5 confirmations makes a competitor more attractive, even if their rates are slightly worse. I wasn't very lucky, when I checked after almost an hour, my Bitcoin deposit had only 3 confirmations.
I would like to agree with @LoyceV here. I am using other faster competitors frequently and even some regular exchanges that don't KYC take only 2 confirmations until my funds are deposited. I mean: If I use a simple instant-exchange, it needs to be fast. ConclusionIn summary: Good simple website with still a lot room to improve - especially when it comes to communication with the user. Instant exchanges in particular are all about a clean overall picture, and this is achieved by giving the user enough information how the service works. It is not enough to write clean code and create a functioning exchange (btw you can buy the backend for a working instant exchange for a few hundred bucks on fiverr). If you want a working product in the end that actually generates money through fees, you have to actively convince the user that your service is the best, safest and easiest to use. And here, hopefully, you are still working on it and improving your platform. Then I am sure that with a strong Bitcointalk community behind you, you can become a good place for BTC XMR trades. Verstehe mich bitte nicht falsch, wir reden hier über Peanuts zum Anfangen, um der FOMO gerecht zu werden  Ich wollte zunächst nur eine BTC Position, damit ich in meinen Finanzroutinen des Öfteren über den BTC "stolpere" und dran bleibe. Und genau diese Einfachheit finde ich bei Plattformen wie Scalable auch sehr gelungen. Man handelt dort sowieso Aktien und ETFs und hat so die Möglichkeit als blutiger Anfänger ( !) ersten Kontakt mit "Bitcoin" zu sammeln. Wenn man dann tiefer in die Materie einsteigt, merkt man schnell, dass es aber noch viel bessere Möglichkeiten gibt Bitcoin zu kaufen (und das Prinzip "Be your own Bank" wirklich aufleben zu lassen). Viele wagen erst dann den Schritt auf eine richtige Kryptobörse. Dementsprechend haben Plattformen wie Scalable, die hier im Forum zurecht oft für ihr Krypto-Angebot kritisiert werden, mMn nicht nur schlechtes. Neulinge erhalten so eine Möglichkeit unkompliziert zu starten, auch wenn man am Anfang noch keine "richtigen" Bitcoin kauft. Die Nachteile waren mir in Teilen bewusst, trotzdem ein dickes Dankeschön @bullrun2020bro für die klare Ansage. Mittlerweile ist der Ledger im Warenkorb und die Gier nach Coins groß genug Super! Sehr gerne. Und toll, dass du dich hier so aktiv beteiligst. Herzliches Willkommen auch noch einmal von meiner Seite. Unser deutschsprachiges Board kann aktive Mitglieder immer gut gebrauchen. Ich habe noch keinen Ledger, weil sich das für mich aktuell noch nicht lohnt. Ich nutze die BTC Kauffunktion von Scalable Capital und wollte da mal erfragen, wie die Meinungen dazu sind? Ist nur ein kleiner Klick auf Kauf und ich kann mir sicher sein, dass eine Bank alles für mich professionell regelt. Dafür zahle ich 1,9% im Jahr.
Zunächst einmal solltest du wissen, dass du bei Scalable Capital keine physischen Bitcoin kaufst, sondern ein Finanzprodukt: Nämlich einen Crypto-ETP. Weitere Infos, hier im Verkaufsprospekt (etwas scrollen, dann folgt die Erklärung). Diese bieten gegenüber einem Direktkauf von Bitcoin auf einer Handelsbörse (wie z.B. Kraken oder Binance) viele Nachteile, aber auch einige Vorteile. Dementsprechend muss man je nach Situation schauen, welcher Kauf mehr Sinn macht: Nachteile:- laufende Gebühren für den ETP
- Handelszeiten der Börse (Wichtiger Punkt: Denn bei Scalable handelst du auf Gettex und Xetra. Diese sind am Wochenende geschlossen, d.h. ein Verkauf an einem Samstag oder Sonntag wird schwierig)
- Keine Steuerfreiheit nach einem Jahr Haltedauer, sondern pauschal 25% Kapitalertragssteuer + Soli + Kirche
- Emittentenrisiko, die läufst Gefahr, dass der Herausgeber des ETPs Pleite geht - interessanterweise wäre dies bei einigen Scalable ETPs beim FTX-Crash fast passiert. Hier einmal ins Kleingedruckte schauen, wer die ETPs überhaupt herausgibt
- du hältst keine physischen Bitcoin, sondern ein Finanzprodukt, dass an den Preis der jeweiligen Kryptowährung gekoppelt ist (wohl der wichtigste Punkt, wenn man Bitcoin nicht nur auf Profitgründen halten möchte, siehe vorheriger Post)
- Du kannst jederzeit von deinem Konto seitens der Bank ausgesperrt werden und kommst nicht mehr an
deine Bitcoin dein Finanzprodukt - idR deutlich schlechtere Kurse als auf einer regulären Börse wie Kraken oder Binance
Vorteile:- Pauschale Besteuerung von 25% + Soli + Kirche, ermöglicht bei Haltedauer unter einem Jahr, ggf. eine günstigere Besteuerung als der reguläre Steuersatz
- Einfachheit. Gewohntes Scalable Interface. Bank verwahrt den ETP für dich. Kundensupport etc. (wohl der wichtigste Punkt für viele die auf Scalable kaufen)
Daneben gibt es sicherlich noch einige weitere. Aber das ist das war mir auf den ersten Blick einfällt. Ich würde bei Haltezeiten größer als ein Jahr immer zu einem Direktkauf mit anschließender Verwahrung auf einer Paper- bzw. Hardware-Wallet raten. Nur in seltenen Fällen bei kürzerer Haltedauer und zur Steueroptimierung macht es Sinn Bitcoin-ETPs zu kaufen. |

Is there any reliable tool to test whether a password is weak or not? I'm aware of some online websites that test your password entropy but I don't feel safe using an online website for it.
This chart might give you a hint, if your password is weak or not. Always remember to combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols. Also make it at least 12 or more characters. Especially if you're setting passwords for sensible services like Bitcoin exchanges, bank accounts or email addresses. Using AES 256 encryption for your private keys does indeed make your Bitcoin wallet more secure. It is basically an extra barrier for attackers to get through in order to steal your keys. Plus, AES 256 is a pretty advanced encryption method (industry standard). So its going to take quite a lot of computational power to break it. AES 256 is widely used, so your wallet should be secure by industry standard assuming you doesn't use weak password.
Agree, you mentioned one crucial point here: No security measure is foolproof. So one should always make sure to also take other security measures like using a unique and strong password (which is one of the biggest beginner mistakes IMHO), and keeping your device locked and secure at all times of course. |

Klar, ausgeschlossen werden kann das nie und es braucht nur einen weiteren Krypto-Skandal, da könnten die Werte schon erreicht werden aber selbst, wenn so ein Ereignis eintritt, wären doch viele Käufer bei so niedrigen Preisen am Zuschlagen und gerade, da das nächste Halving Ende 2023 nur noch 4 Monate weg ist, wären solch niedrige Preise zu diesem Zeitpunkt schon ziemlich die Ausnahme. Aber vielleicht ist dein Tipp ja ein Treffer, denn es muss ja nicht bis auf 13.200$ fallen, wenn der nächst nähere Teilnehmer deutlich höher tippt. Dann würdest du auch bei etwas höheren Preisen gewinnen. Aktuell sieht es doch schon wieder anders aus. Bitcoin steht wieder über $20k. Die Welt ist in Ordnung. Vielleicht haben wir den "generational bottom" ja auch schon erreicht. Oder auch 2023 folgt das nächste Drama. Das Jahr ist ja noch jung und ein paar Player am Markt, die pleite gehen können, gibt es ja noch. Bleibt also spannend. Ansonsten stimme ich dir aber zu. Derartige Preise wären ein Traum - nicht nur bei Bitcoin, sondern auch bei vielen Altcoins, die bei unter 10K BTC wohl noch deutlich stärker abgeben dürften. |

Hoffentlich gibt es Ledger Live Versionen ohne diesen Müll. Die sollen sich lieber um die Sicherheit bemühen und das unsere Daten und Funds sicher sind.
Das sehe ich ganz genauso. Als Sicherheitsfirma für Kryptoverwahrung sollte dies auch im Vordergrund stehen. Wahrscheinlich sitzen ganz schlaue Leute in der Marketing-Abteilung, die meinen man müsse jeden Trend mitnehmen, egal ob es NFTs, custom-designte Ledger oder was anderes ist. Ich verstehe es nicht: Das Ding soll meine Bitcoin und anderen Kryptowährungen verwahren. Möglichst sicher und mit möglichst wenig Angriffspunkten. Wenn jetzt jeder Mist in die Ledger Software implementiert wird, um dem Kunden auch noch das letzte Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen, muss man sich wirklich fragen, ob Ledger das richtige ist, um seine Coins ggf. Jahrzehnte lang zu verwahren. Wahnsinn. Was ein Mist. Sehr enttäuschend, was Ledger hier abliefert. Ich hoffe wir erleben nicht bald die nächste böse Überraschung. |

Man, what a disappointment for Chelsea last night ( can you also hear Thomas Tuchel laughing somewhere?). I had a feeling they would pull it off but it looks like I was wrong ( I placed one of my freebets I recently won on Chelsea yesterday, yikesss). Losing to Fulham and Felix getting sent off on his debut, it's not the start of the 2nd half of the season the team and the fans were hoping for. And with Fulham on a winning streak and Chelsea struggling lately, it was clear that they needed to step up their game. But, they didn't. Things are getting tough now. You're right, as for the Premier League table, it's not looking good for Chelsea right now. A Champions League or even Europe League finish is getting more and more unlikely if they don't start racking up the points anytime soon. It's pretty frustrating to see them not performing up to their potential tbh. No clue if its the coach, the players or all combined by now. Maybe next time I'll just have to bet against Chelsea, then maybe they will win. |

Es gab eine mündliche Absprache. Daraufhin wurde der Kaufpreis für die Firmenanteile bezahlt. Zusätzlich ist @cygan nach innen und außen als CEO aufgetreten und hat dies sogar öffentlich mitgeteilt. Auch wenn nichts unterschrieben wurde, würde mich so schnell es geht um einen Anwalt bemühen. Nicht, dass @cygan am Ende noch die Schuld für diese Misere in die Schuhe geschoben wird, weil er zu gutgläubig war. Es ist ja durchaus möglich, dass @yogg nur nach außen auf Depressiv/Spielsüchtig tut, aber ihm durchaus bewusst war ( oder er es sogar geplant hat), dass man diesen Scam hinterher auf jemanden anderen abwälzen will. Und da kommt der neue CEO und Investor in die Firma dann vielleicht ganz gelegen. Ich meine er hat die Keys von Anfang an aufbewahrt und mit dem scammen so lange gewartet, bis ein neuer CEO an Bord war. Das ist niemals ein einfacher Zufall. Darum: Würde es um meinen Arsch gehen, würde ich ab jetzt nichts mehr dem Zufall überlassen. As long as the Bitcoin are not completely lost ( or gambled away), it is now your task as CEO to protect the damaged customers as best as possible. You can't just say: Well, he scammed all of us. Especially now, you have to do everything you can to compensate the affected users as much as possible. Not with your own money. IMHO, it's certainly shaping up to be an exciting weekend of Premier League matches, and you bring up plenty valid points about Chelsea's current situation. If Chelsea does lose at Fulham on Thursday, it will be an extremly difficult situation for Graham Potter to convince the fans ( many of whom are still mourning Tuchel's departure) and of course the rest of the club that he will be able to turn things at Chelsea around. And if they then really lose at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday, it would certainly bring up new questions about the decision to let Tuchel go ( as an Austrian who only partly follows the Premier League, I never understood why they sacked Tuchel in the first place, LOL). However we should keep in mind, that the season is not over yet and there's still a chance for the coach to turn things around and make a comeback. They are currently 10 points away from the CL spots, it's now or never if they want it not to be a lost season. |

Some media write that Manuel Neuer has not broken his lower leg. Instead it is is said that he has an open tibia and fibula fracture. If that were really the case he would probably not be back in the summer. That would therefore also be a reason why Bayern Munich is not just looking for a temporary solution for the second half of the season.
Yea, I've also been hearing these rumors about Neuer's injury and it's definitely something to keep an eye on. If the reports are true and it's indeed an open fracture, it would certainly change the game for him and the team. But let's not jump to conclusions just yet, Neuer has been working hard with the medical team on his recovery and it's not clear if these new rumors align with their plan ( but I guess we will find out soon tbh). If Neuer's injury is worse than we thought ( and what's officially reported), it makes sense that Bayern would be looking for more than just a temporary solution for the rest of the season. Nevertheless, that's all speculation rn. Personally I hope he gets back on track sooner than later. |

Natürlich ist es erst einmal komisch, wenn ein Projekt alle Partnerschaften zu den Peers kappt, aber man muss auch sagen, dass sich auch im Cardano Space viele Kandidaten rumtreiben, denen ich nicht zutraue, dass sie den Bärenmarkt überleben. Und da im Kryptospace niemand den Unterschied zwischen Partnerschaft und Empfehlung versteht, ist es ggf. nicht so schlecht vorher die Reißleine zu ziehen, bevor der "Partner" am Ende scheitert. An einen Scam bei AXO glaube ich persönlich nicht. Dann hätte man sich vermutlich die Auszahlung der ISPO-Rewards gespart und würde irgendwo in der Sonne sitzen. Nichtsdestotrotz sollte man hier abwarten. Von der Innovation die Maladex einst versprochen hat, ist jetzt bei AXO nicht mehr viel übrig. Mir würde es ja für den Anfang schon reichen, wenn sie eine halbwegs vernünftige DEX auf die Reihe bekommen. Abwarten ob das gelingt. |
