2122  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger nano X discount on: October 23, 2021, 07:44:31 AM
I was actually not aware of the problem that everyone is pointing to. Would it be a better choice if I grab the Nano S instead? Aside from the Bluetooth and the iOS support, are there any disadvantages when compared to Nano X?!
2123  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Ledger nano X discount on: October 21, 2021, 03:58:30 PM
I'm looking to grab a Ledger Nano X and was wondering, do they usually do any promos on Halloween? If so, how low do they usually go?
2124  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help with my Electrum wallet on: October 21, 2021, 01:12:35 PM
how do I fix the sync issue? I downloaded it from electrum.org

this is the correct address sorry I typed it wrong here. 3Nymsmo1cSSRUyxz2DBreMYZ3ns7tfe2WT

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3Nymsmo1cSSRUyxz2DBreMYZ3ns7tfe2WT

As you can see on the link above, the address never sent nor received any funds so if you're sure about sending, you might have sent it to the wrong address.
2125  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Help with my Electrum wallet on: October 21, 2021, 12:49:10 PM
Could you please post the TXID of the transaction? Or the receiving address at least.

Also, if you look at the bottom right corner, what's the color of the circle? Is it green? It could be a sync issue.
2126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [General] How to earn Bitcoins on: October 21, 2021, 12:43:48 PM
How about trading bitcoin? But of course, you need to first make your technical analysis skills strong, along with risk management. But once you’re able to do that trading can be an option.

Day trading is definitely not something I would suggest, especially for a beginner. It's very likely that you will end up losing your money. HODLing bitcoin is way more profitable. For the long term of course.
2127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy 1 Bitcoin on: October 20, 2021, 03:39:22 PM
OKEX is definitely the way to go then. No KYC is required, it supports both Polygon and Solana networks and also the lightning network for BTC in case you want to withdraw with that, so you'll basically be doing this whole thing with almost no cost at all. The limits are not something you should be worried about either, you can withdraw up to 10 BTC per 24 hours.
2128  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy 1 Bitcoin on: October 20, 2021, 02:44:53 PM
I'm not sure why would want to use any of the blockchains you mentioned if you're going to buy BTC using fiat?

Now for buying, it would be better if you could share your location, that way we can suggest a few exchanges but assuming that you've tried Coinbase, Coinmama or CEX.io, then using Paxful could be a good idea. From what I can see here[1] you can trade as much as you like, as long as you don't exceed 50K$ per trade. It can be a hustle since you will have to trade with different individuals to finish with the whole amount, but it can be a good solution, in case you don't find any other alternatives.

on: October 20, 2021, 01:53:08 PM

2131  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I want a Turkish number for SMS verification one time on: October 19, 2021, 02:21:27 PM
I would've suggested something like FreeReceiveSMS or MyTempSMS but if it's for WhatsApp as you previously stated, then you should take into consideration that you might need to find a service that not only allows SMS verification but one that gives you a unique number that will not be given to someone else at some point later in the future otherwise that would compromise your account. If I were you, I'd just get someone from Turkey to buy a SIM card and ship it to you.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/32c2vwzKfAkYHyRqwDcKuoYeCyq2iRuhUf

As you can see on the link above, the address final balance is 0$. The address did receive 56$ on the 7th of October but sent it elsewhere shortly after.

Which wallet or exchange are you using to store your funds?

EDIT: It appears that the address belongs to an exchange: https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/00000014ea8b260f?from_address=32c2vwzKfAkYHyRqwDcKuoYeCyq2iRuhUf
2133  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: October 16, 2021, 03:46:38 PM
Interesting news. Didn't Coinsbee also recently add Binance Pay?

They have. CryptoRefills did too: https://pay.binance.com/en/merchant-stores

I wouldn't be surprised if the other gift card providers follow the same steps.

IMHO partnering with Binance is a great way to raise awareness of their service and payment with cryptocurrencies in general. Thumbs up!

True but at the same time, Binance pay is not only custodial but also requires KYC (regardless of how small the transaction is)
2134  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Kucoin scam on: October 16, 2021, 12:53:33 PM
Thanks for the advice.

They make the trading password so confusing, I am not the first to mistake it with 2FA then forget it.

As quoted by Potato Chips. Try to reach out to Kucoin and explain to them that you're not willing to go through the KYC process and ask them if there is another way to gain access to your funds since you have both your email and 2FA, they should then ask you to provide the screenshots I mentioned.

I wouldn't give up on it if I were you, I know people who were from the OFAC list and still managed to withdraw their funds from Kucoin.
2135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: October 16, 2021, 09:59:37 AM
- Change your region currency to USD. This seemed to be the most goto option which seemed to solve it.

- Using a secondary device and formatting it and setting the country as US to default although I think you don't need to necessarily format, you can clear your Google play data and try it, it might just work. There's one reddit solution here: https://www.reddit.com/r/googleplay/comments/pad3xp/couldnt_redeem_this_code_this_code_can_only_be/

As I said, I've already tried that and my account is already from the U.S. I can't change it even if I wanted to unless I provide a new payment method from a different country. Still no luck :/

Update: Bitrefill has partnered with Binance, so you can now pay using your Binance Pay without any fees.
2136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [List] Gift cards providers on: October 15, 2021, 02:09:42 PM
Anyone here familiar with Google play gift cards? I keep getting the following error:

Quote
Couldn't redeem this code. This code can only be used in United States.

I remember having this issue the first time I redeemed a card but I fixed it by changing my country (in my account settings) to the U.S and using a VPN. I tried to do the same thing but still getting that message. Any thoughts?
2137  Economy / Digital goods / Re: I want a Turkish number for SMS verification one time on: October 15, 2021, 08:48:26 AM
What do you need it for exactly? There are some free ones that you could probably use, but they may not work with known services such as Telegram, WhatsApp, etc. since they were most likely used there. Or do you want the number to be unique?
2138  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Help me multibit classic wallet on: October 15, 2021, 08:31:47 AM
I suppose you still have access to your password as well (assuming that the wallet was encrypted)? If so, you can try the following[1]. Once you export the private keys, you could sweep them into Electrum[2] and then use them.

Wasn't there a way to see how much money have we spent so far on your platform? I want to know if I'll soon be obliged to comply with the KYC policy or not.
