2121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves future on: February 08, 2018, 11:32:28 PM
waves will go huge after adding smart contracts
There might be a lot of projects are introduced to create their own smartcontract, but the real smartcontract is ethereum. Waves will become another fail on it.  believe me the competition was really strict to the waves. How new platform  just like cardano even surpassed waves platform. I heard waves try to make another scalabilityt solution for its platform but those waves holders don't need it.
Waves is hype coin in my opinion.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favorite ICO on: February 08, 2018, 11:30:03 PM
I am curious to know what is the best ICO you invested and why you like it.
All of those icos which have utility usage to the token and then they can't be classified all of them into the security token based on the SEC compliance. But a lot of people are investing in the over-hype ico to get easy return after it being listed on the exchange site. current seems to be the best ico right now which already sold out just in some minutes.
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What was your worst crypto call? on: February 07, 2018, 11:59:10 PM
I bought Vechain cheap and sold it at x30 and the income was totally spent on rising KCS at $18 and now look where it is heading.
Moral Never ever invest in a rising coin.
LOL did you spent all of your profit to the KCS? You're getting a big lost my friend. It decreases about up to 70% from your rate. Crypto is driving by hype if we are seeing the fact that so many experts are saying about that. And finally to buy those coins at peak just like a big betting on the casino. There is no different between it.
My friend lost a lot too.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forming a self-regulatory organisation on: February 07, 2018, 11:54:18 PM
So we've all heard of Bitconnect and other scams by now. Scammers have taken advantage of the absence of regulations and people have lost money in the process. It is 2018, the market is getting more mature, educating newcomers but it still has many Wild West characteristics in its current form. Many agree to say that the need for regulations is urgent.

Why should the industry wait for governments to take action, and they might do so in a harmful way for innovation, despite the optimistic tone of recent crypto hearings before the US Senate?

Crypto being its own ecosystem, what if some form of self-regulatory organisation, i.e. from the inside (and not from the outside) could step up in a centralised or decentralised manner to structure things in a way that will prevent fake ICOs and other malicious forms of theft to flourish?

I am not saying it is possible, I am asking the community if you think it would be worth a try.

Shoot.
Government to the innovation, They hate it but they need it.
But all of them depend on the people aware of the scam ico. If they know that a scam project and why they still invest on there rather than choose another better project than shit bitconnect.

About self-regulation, it looks not strong to control the community. It can be broken by the community too.
2125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Happend For Bounty FB IF FB block ads crypto on: February 07, 2018, 11:49:16 PM
The ban doesn't impact bounties, actually makes them stronger as ICOs will rely on them more. Remember the ban only is for paid adverts.
I agree that ban crypto ads on the facebook has no effect on bounties, because it's only ban for paid crypto ads, not a share and like about the project we follow. Facebook bounties will still exist and we still can work for  facebook bounties as usual by doing share and like as. So we don't have to worry about this
The facebook bounty campaign is related to the personal advertisement through the participant's activity to spread, like or repost the post from the official ico fan page. This is not  related to the banner advertise on the facebook that already banned the crypto related campaign. It doesn't give a lot of impact to the facebook campaign.
2126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex market removal on: February 07, 2018, 11:33:14 PM
Thank you for your replies and suggestions. I have sold my FunFair coins (luckily not at a loss) and bought ZClassic - because of the fork this 28th. Just want to ask if anyone here knows if Bittrex will support that fork (if it will indeed push through) or any exchange that announced will support it? Thank you
If bittrex will try support that fork and then bill and the team will try to release further announcement regarding it. I remember when bittrex was supporting nxt fork coin just like ignis and bittrex have announced some days before the fork will be happening.

These exchange sites which have supported zclassic fork still hasn't been published yet.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: January 27, 2018, 05:56:06 AM
How about panic token selling that if the price under ico price, panic people will sell his token before that price down.
How affect of that for token price?
The panic selling will not be so long in my opinion, it will be recovering again as soon as possible, but you can try to take it as your chance to grab the more token at the cheap price. When you are realizing about there will be a bounce back again in the crypto and it can be considered as a golden chance to generate huge money through panic sell.
2128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum Overthrown Bitcoin? on: January 27, 2018, 05:52:33 AM
As everyone of us know that eth is getting momentum due to the fact of low transactions fee and the features of smart contract....

Is it possible for eth to overtake bitcoin in price in nearest future?

I don't think so Eth could take over Bitcoin , BTC does have more investor against ETH , I might say both can move same way as they move in past .
bitcoin transaction's fee could be less in future !!!

Happy Trading
Thanks
Regards

Yes, you are right because Bitcoin is already generating huge volumes in the market and we cannot predict easily that ETH will surpass the BTC. I think price changes will be there but the difference between even though transaction fee are little high with Bitcoin, but we can overcome the problems.
Voluem doesn't mean anything, but the fact has told me about ethereum already beaten the bitcoin on the daily transaction. People are not realizing about ethereum is having a lot of potential to be future payment system rather than bitcoin with its broken blockchain with so many unconfirmed, this just the matter of time until sharding will come and bitcoin will be nothing to ethereum on the scalability.
2129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: January 27, 2018, 05:50:42 AM
I fear in the near future binance has to limit new token listing somewhat like poloniex, there are already a lot of pairs trading at binance and new projects and coins are constantly coming up, obviously binance cannot list them all, so lets see how binance will tackle this situation.

I don`t think so. Look at stockmarkets, there are thousands of stocks in the exchange. Why should this not able in cryptomarket, too? It`s very likely, that cryptomarket will replace stockmarket, one day.
Sure, How the more big companies already stated if they will try to issued their own token in the future and this should become a huge update for sure. I think that the fact that there will be a huge crypto stock market to disrupt real stock market. It's about the competition between stock market and crypto. I've heard so many times about that.
2130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of newbies buying the wrong coin. Be carefull! on: January 25, 2018, 11:32:30 PM
Wrong coins? Nothing wrong with those people, BTC and BCH has a different.
If you say that BCH is "the real Bitcoin", then bounty rewards on this forum must be paid in BCH, am I right?
Even if they stated that Bitcoin Cash is the real Bitcoin then they will get so much flame from the people that know that what they are stating is false.
What's the different between bitcoin cash shill and bankers? Nothing. Both are making the non-sense statement about bitcoin.

This shilling thread is annoying. They are all spreading non-sense words to everyone. What a big joke they are all just like a banker that hates bitcoin.
2131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Custom Tokens in MEW on: January 25, 2018, 11:18:43 PM
Sorry if this is a stupid question,

I am in a new ICO and want to put my ETH address in their dash as instructed. The tokens wont be sent until the end of the month but when I look in MEW it doesn't list the new token name yet. In the ICO tutorial it suggests adding it as a custom token and gives all of the details. If I don't add it as a custom token and they send me the tokens will I still receive them?
You will still receive your token but your token will not appear in your wallet and you must fill new custom token with contract address from the ico that you have been participated. it makes your coin will be appearing to your wallet after you already filled the custom address requirement.
There are so many tutorial about that. don't worry as long as your wallet support erc20 compliance and all of the things will still safe.
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South korea crypto ban ... why it is important for the rest of the world ? on: January 24, 2018, 03:00:41 AM
Hello guys , whats going on with the south korea regulations rumors and why its so important that affect the whole crypto market ?

im surprised to see the drop in prices and a lot of people getting afraid of whats gonna happen next ..

idont know why but i feel like all those news and fake news are part of a big game !

Because a lot of volume is centralized in the south korea, as you can see after PBOC already released announcement about the status of crypto in the china and majority of the crypto users in china are moving towards south korea. and that's why south korea regulation is really affecting crypto. If another FUD will come and i expected another drop again.
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many altcoins do you hold? on: January 24, 2018, 02:22:54 AM
How many altcoins do you hold? How many altcoins are too many?
I have 12 altcoins in my portfolio. I like all of them,  but I am thinking about consolidating down to my 5 favorites.
It may better to decrease your portfolios to all of your favorite altcoins. But i have a lot of altcoins and it's worth almost 2 million dollars right now. But i still keep them all and i just try to manage all of my assets through blockfolio. Please decrease your portfolio into some altcoins and you will be so easily to manage all of your portfolio.
2134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan's largest bank Mitsubishi UFJ to release their own crypto. on: January 24, 2018, 02:17:50 AM
So this got me thinking why wouldn't all other financial institutions & companies create their own crypto instead of buying into existing and expensive cryptocurrencies? For example for privacy & security why couldn't the Swiss Bank create their own private cryptocurrency instead of using DASH or MONERO? Or logistics & supply chain related cryptos Vechain/Wabi/Walton why wouldn't multi-national companies just create their own? Or even IoT, AI related cryptos like Cindicator, Deepbrainchain, IOTA, why couldn't IBM or Google create their own instead of buying already expensive and inflated cryptos?
Because they will have known about the fact they will get all of the control over their asset and they don't need to buy the current coin. If you can make your coin with low price and why makes you feel you must try to obtain current currency? So are you still feeling curious about another reason?
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Down down we go. on: January 24, 2018, 02:14:33 AM
All the fud and whales taking profit, slowing down progress in crypto.no wonder new money is not coming into market .perfect opportunity to short the market. I don't need new money to come in to profit, I'll just take a chunk of what's already there . In my opinion this is very healthy. Lots of weak hands exited crypto lately. Serious investors and hodlers remain.
But my guess if there is all not only caused by fud or profit taking, but the fact we have been seeing non sense pump without any reason to support it. Remember the waves of crypto if there will be a huge pump and i can say another big bearish will come. If we are look at the crypto chart especially bitcoin. There will be another big jump at the middle of this year.
2136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Hodlers! Congratulations! on: January 07, 2018, 07:54:42 AM
It is indeed a huge milestone!

Passing the 1k mark and staying stable above is huge. If anything a lot of these new investors are going to be coming in and I'm sure most have heard or seen Ethereum on Coinbase before and now they will start to see the huge exponential increases themselves. I really think this year we will finish this next year above 2.5k and the whole crypto space itself is going to boom!
We have reached over $1100 and this is very big news for all of the ethereum holders even we are not seeing pos and hybrid system, This year ethereum will become the best coin. we will see hybrid mode in ethereum platform asap. A lot of people are talking about that.
2137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I invest in altcoins. What to do when I made 500 to 5000%? on: January 07, 2018, 07:53:20 AM
Hi
About 1.5 years ago I invested some small money in 4-5 coins, say 200usd per coin, it is an example.
Most of these coins value 2000 to 10000usd each.

I cashed in about 15% of the total.

I sold 15% to buy a few coins, mostly altcoins with low marketcap, good project, serious team, ... But this time I don t know when to cash out... this time I invested much more than 200usd per line, so "only" 4 times my investment is big money... should I cash out while I "used" to make 10 to 50 times my investment?

It is really hard to know when taking profit. It is not the same , for the brain, to let profit run to 20 times your investment when you invested 200 or 5000usd!
if you've gotten a lot of money just like if you were investing around 2k and then in a month later your amount become 20k and then just cash out all of them and then you will be able to take back your capital and just try to use a half to invest in the promising project again. that's the best decision that i can suggest yuu.
2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Token on: January 06, 2018, 11:18:54 AM
Is this the token you are talking about?
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/piggycoin/#markets

On coinmarketcap you can see all the platforms which list the token. You can try sending the tokens to another platform, if you failed the first time.
I would suggest you to first send few tokens and then sending the entire amount. You will pay the fees twice, but at least you will not lose your money!

Thank you for the advice
I've tried to send to one exchange but wallet address is not support in MEW, wallet address begins with the letter P while in MEW must begin with the letter O
What's wrong with you? It looks piggycoin wasn't including on the erc20 standard token. Look at the official announcement of piggycoin itself and you will find the more detail about that and such wallet to store all of your piggycoin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633803.0
2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will ICO die in 2018? on: January 06, 2018, 11:15:52 AM
I think in 2018 will be more real ICO projects with already working beta.
While the old ico already released their product to the crypto users, some icos already done with their product and i remember there will be more icos will try to issued their product to public.
So many platform already work on the beta version.
2140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 11:14:14 AM
I dont think Ether can overtake bitcoin because Bitcoin is the king and mother currency of all crypto and its here from last 3 years or more. If bitcoin is at 17000$ after 3 or more years so how can Ether overtake  bitcoin even the Ether can't beat bitcoin in near future as it is more popular as bitcoin and its now at 950$. I dont think any altcoin can beat bitcoin in near future. But yes only Ether have capacity to reach this level after long time.
You can call the bitcoin is a king whatever you want but it looks you're forgetting about ripple almost reached the bitcoin level. Ethereum was following it after ripple and then a lot of transaction in the crypto was happened in the ethereum platform. https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/949080353997647872
How more and more people are using it right now.
