2121  Economy / Economics / Re: Government policies help to grow the price of bitcoin on: April 20, 2021, 09:58:12 AM
Governments have no shame to do everything to safeguard their own corrupt interests, even at the expense of their own citizens and their rights or benefits Grin but, human history has a big golden period of fighting against such oppressions and I am very optimistic that we will come out of these type of anti-crypto laws as well and shine!
If you were in their position, I am pretty sure that you are going to do the same, this is all just a matter of perspective. I hope that we can see that thing from happening but we all know that this politicians will only play on our side if they are going to get something out of it.
2122  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: April 20, 2021, 09:09:24 AM
Thats true, before pandemic the price is still cheap and investors can afford to buy if they really want to invest. In my case I already know about bitcoin 6 years ago, so imagine the price during that time but I didnt pay attention because I think its a usual thing happening online and its not something to be worth to invest in.

Well, indeed regrets are always in the end because who would have thought that it will be worth 3 millions (when we convert it to our currency) at this point. If only we can curn back time I will buy as much as I can but its impossible now.
I figure almost everyone here have almost the same story about not batting an eye, yes there are regrets but at the least we are in the scene which is much better than still being an observer and skeptic.
2123  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin last till infinity on: April 20, 2021, 07:01:06 AM
If we are talking about infinity then it will be problematic since there is no machine that can last for that amount of time. Maybe if we perceive cyberspace as an immortal plane then maybe bitcoin can last till infinity.
2124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is die . All crypto go down on: April 20, 2021, 05:40:19 AM
That's what the other people have said when bitcoin was around 40k and it was going down, but here we are at the 50k mark, this will be the same as last time, you are just short-sighted so you always panic when the prices go down.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: April 20, 2021, 04:02:29 AM

It depends on what country you belong to. In other countries such as the US, the tax laws are implemented so strictly that evading tax should be avoided if you don't want the IRS come knocking at your door at the most unexpected time. You better be honest and settle all your tax responsibilities. It is not advisable to court risk and trouble for an amount not so big.

Some countries on the other hand are so poor in implementing tax laws and collection. If you belong to one of them you could get away from it.
Well, you might've misunderstood what I said, the not paying taxes part was on the gambling wins and not the evading taxes at all. Poor countries have a clever way of implementing taxes, they use lottery and most of the products that we buy already comes with a tax so I guess I can't really avoid taxes.
2126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lucky Winners of the Day - Random Pick on: April 20, 2021, 03:20:37 AM
So long as he got a payoff before he hits 1000 attempts then its a success for him but theres no guarantee it pays off at all, nice hype to try for a stream.   Thats alot of money he has to commit just to test his even average odds nevermind the worst case where he must go past normal amount of attempts to win.
Any attempts that reach the 3 digit mark and above is going to be too much in my opinion. I admire people that do this because wasting money on a test that is proven ineffective isn't done by any average earning person.

Thank you my friend for reminding me, because like you said it was quite risky that I did. I also hope that there will be no problems in the future,
therefore I am not too big to deposit on gambling platforms. Then I will also make an immediate withdrawal if I win playing gambling. Just in case
I get into trouble later on, will not suffer too big a loss.
I would bet that you won't get in trouble for gambling and not paying taxes, I mean if I didn't get in trouble then you probably won't. Or you could not gamble anymore, you don't have to worry about if there is tax or nah and you will be more happier.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Haney vs Linares - May 29 on: April 20, 2021, 01:48:30 AM
Here are the odds:

Might be good to wait for more betting odds for Haney, I initially thought that the odds will be very close. Anyhow, maybe as the fight gets closer, it will definitely change and maybe Linares can close the gap.
That is a big gap to fill in but considering there is still almost a month of preparation, maybe we can see these odds getting closer and closer, I would probably put money on both sides since the odds are attractive.
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 20, 2021, 01:10:09 AM
Back then, i was a fulltime gambler. Win some and lose some, there were even when i won a bit money, but in the end i've lost it all after 1 week later and it wiped out all of my winnings before include my bankroll. Then i realized i can't always like this, then decided to gamble what i can afford to lose without chasing my loss before (although many times i still wanna chasing that).
You could've quit but I understand that quitting on something is going to be a difficult one because habits die hard. I don't like the idea that you are still gambling altogether but hey at the least you are keeping your addiction from becoming destructive at bay but this is not a sustainable long-term especially if you plan to have a family.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 20, 2021, 12:29:13 AM

If you rely on the outcome of your gambling journey to pay your debt, that is wrong, but if you have a job and you are earning, then you can still pay your debt even if you are losing in gambling, that's the best thing to do. Debt should be paid, no matter how small it is, and of course, as long as you don't run from it, your lender would understand and both of you will make a settlement where you are both comfortable.
Or you could do the not stupid move of not gambling and just continue paying that debt, yes you want to have fun but if you only get your high with gambling then you are probably gambling. Even if you don't run from it, if you didn't pay it at the right time then your lender would probably see it in a different way.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a Responsible Gambler on: April 19, 2021, 10:24:21 AM
I have similar experience on the past but not as worse as op. I also had debt due to gambling because I want to recover my losses. Though I have job that time, but the problem is I tend to spend it on gambling without control resulting to a fight between me and my family.

Well, if you know that you have no self control already when you gamble then do everything to refrain yourself. Seek a professional help to get rid of this bad habit or open up with your family because they're the ones who will understand and help you to overcome it. Remember, if you have no discipline and self control much better not to gamble anymore.
Did you paid the debt in the end because if yes then congratulations because people who pay back their debts through gambling has a low chance of success because gambling is a way to lose more money so it is a deadlock that only a few can get out.
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 19, 2021, 09:49:20 AM
How can I or anybody limit their gambling time? Gambling is for fun and entertainment cannot have boundaries and fun is always unlimited, so instead of stopping myself, I play more and more to enjoy the games and feel good. Although, I do not play with real money most of the times and use the 'play for fun' to just play those games for some peace of mind and I never limit my time for that.
Because the border between entertainment and addiction in gambling is really thin so time is a useful deterrent for preventing reaching the addiction part. The quote above is a different one since he/she doesn't use real money compared to other people.
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do I need to pay Tax on my Crypto Gambling Winnings? A guide on: April 19, 2021, 09:16:43 AM
Because in my country gambling is prohibited, so I play using a VPN and I don't have to pay taxes for the winnings I get. So the conclusion depends
on the existing regulations in our respective countries, and usually rarely impose taxes for the winnings that we get. Because the government also
knows that there are more gamblers who lose than win. So taxes are applied to casinos usually.
Hopefully you won't get any problem in the long term because sometimes hiding can bite you back. In my country, I don't know much about taxes on winnings since back then I won my bets and games with no deductions except for tips so I don't have any experience with taxes. Check your tax laws to see if gambling is a taxed one.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 19, 2021, 08:33:46 AM
@cabron. He did not train might only be a storyline the sports media wants to spread for your clicks and attention. Ben Askren’s body has always appeared like a dad bod before he retired from MMA.
It didn't matter though as this is probably the easiest money for Ben, he just have to be defeated and that's about it, although this is a sad thing because people are rooting for Askren but it seems that this isn't how it is supposed to be I guess, maybe we see Jake Paul fight a capable fighter next time.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: April 19, 2021, 07:49:16 AM
There's not that much action in Dota 2, the DPC season week 2 matches will commence on April 20 onwards. Most of them are scheduled in the same date. But later there's a match in the China region, RNG versus Magma. It's I-League and Magma has never won a series when this tournament has started.
DPC season isn't that taken that much serious by the teams in my opinion especially those that are already invited, they don't want the people to know their strategy so they don't take the games most of the time that serious but we can see some potential teams that will take the Aegis in the season.
2136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 19, 2021, 07:05:37 AM
I Personally Known a  Philippine Basketball Association Player that admits being part of this kind of rigging and that is happening more than 8 years ago.

Meaning if this Syndicate is in the system for long time , No wonder how large the operation is and how many Victims had already suffered from their Game fixing activities?

BS system that allows this to happen that long , meaning there are even officials that participating in this kind.
I have heard about this story, a lot of players were suspended for this rigging, AFAIK there is still this kind of syndicate in the leagues, they are just more careful with their moves now. Game fixing is a big business in my country and I wouldn't be surprised if there are more people that is involved in the rigging.
2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experiment - Doubling small stake for big gains on: April 19, 2021, 06:30:11 AM
I think it depends on luck, if you are lucky your expectations will be correct and otherwise the result will be disappointing. Indeed, if you have experience with your options while betting over time, you will have achieved some wins, compensating for some losses. I previously won a lot of bets on the Premier League and Spanish League matches in this way that I think is effective in the long term!!!
It's not luck, it's just probability and analysis of the bet. Good luck with the experiment and hope that OP can get a profit out of it even though OP lost his first bet.
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 19, 2021, 05:51:28 AM

It's part of the marketing tool of the gambling site if they are new updates or features of their gambling sites, whether you like it or not once you sign up to a gambling site, you should be prepared to receive such newsletter, don't mark it spam, the next newsletter could be very important for all members if you don't want to receive this newsletter check the gambling site if there is an option to turn off the notification.
They should add some option if you want to subscribe to their newsletter because not everyone really cares if they are doing some promotion and if it is an important announcement then they aren't going to put that in their newsletter, the best is to put it in the website itself. Not everyone wants the notifications but they are still playing.
2139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos: Internal notifications, message inbox vs Email. on: April 19, 2021, 04:46:24 AM
Notifications and emails are equally annoying in my opinion, especially if they are just for their promotion which I don't like because most of the time, these promotion are only made to make you spend more money, even if it is a free money, most of the time you can't withdraw the money.

I am not from the Philippines, so don't know much about his performance as a senator. But if Lorence.xD is correct, then Pacquaio should wait for a decade or so, rather than jumping in to the fray next year. One thing I know is that Rodrigo Duterte is extremely popular. But he won't be able to run again, due to term-restrictions. IMO, Philippines needs someone like Duterte to continue the good work, rather than a public figure like Pacquiao who have very little experience in politics.
No way in hell do I want Pacquiao to run even 10 years from now, once incompetent will always be incompetent. Also don't wish that shit, a lot of people are suffering because of the current administration, the president can't even make a reasonable move to address the pandemic and he doesn't even have the balls to stand up against China's take over in some parts of our territory. What I want for my country is someone that is not stupid and has the people in mind before making a decision.
