2141  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 03, 2015, 09:04:16 PM
I see Hashtalk is still going on like Bitcointalk is this toxic place actively trying to destroy PayCoin.....

All these 1200 pages are reactions to events that have transpired, most everyone does not have the time and energy to continually attack a Cryptocurrency that wants to work like a business.

Bitshares has a similar model to PayCoin (to a much lesser degree) and they can't even fud themselves because everything they do is transparent and their technology works.

They tell Hashtalkers not to post on Bitcointalk because they are the enemy which is pretty poor reasoning because it would be hard for people to know whether someone started on hashtalk and migrated over here or was posting here and even the people that have posted here have been met with more kindness than hate.

I'm pretty sure I am one of the few people in this thread that actually codes and leads on multiple Cryptocurrencies. I've been here a year and a half now active on a daily basis and there is still no damning emails or private messages about me because everything I say in private if leaked to the masses, would only serve to reinforce the things I say publically.

Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Wink
30k con staking as well Cheesy
dev another exchange so i can support voting again Wink

This is everyone's Coin, I alone cannot do it all.

To put it in perspective, I work a full time job which leaves me around 3-4 hours a day plus my days off which is when I get the most work done. My top priorities are community (such as facebook, twitter, slack.com) and coding work that can make it more user friendly for new users (new mac wallet and DNS seeder so new users can connect easier and links to all the social media and exchanges), beyond that it has been making the OP easier to read, and look a little more sleak because that is the first thing you see.

In regards to exchanges, I have already put in requests to all the big names but we need to keep bugging them. For me, the most important thing is Wallet and Blockchain work, everything else will happen as a result. No exchange will delist a Coin that is continually improving at a rapid pace and exchanges want Coins with active development and an active community.

For the most part more time is spent keeping presence here and helping people with any questions they might have but it is good if the developers are always accessible even if it takes away some of the time of the really important stuff.

Would someone be able to put together a list of exchanges to vote on? I can add it to the OP and update it as we go.

Also, not really a fan of being referred to as dev, I really want people to realize that there is no one leader and everyone is their own developer (as everyone has a stake in what happens).

If I ever left then someone else could copy the source from Github and the OP and keep going in the same way I did when Mudda left.
2143  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 03, 2015, 12:08:13 PM
Why is Paycoin trading still at 0.002BTC? Should be lower than Dodge Coin now.

And should be WAY lower than Paycon because Paycon is the much better coin in MANY ways.

Paycon doesnīt need Hybrid Flex Proof of Reserve whatever- itīs rocking Proof of Facebook and Proof of Developer.

Crestington is an amazing dev.

Yay! props for me!

I really have nothing against PayCoin TBH, I just had a good idea that PayCoin was going to tank and PayCon gives people more freedom as it had a fair distribution, no ICO and so all rewards are equal among holders, not to mention bad press for PayCoin makes it so easy to promote.

If Josh ever left PayCoin that would be the end of it, Muddafudda already left PayCon and so I just took over where he left off. If I ever left PayCon then someone else could take it over too since there is no real leader in a decentralized and fairly distributed Coin.

PayCon has it's own challenges (mainly lack of liquidity) but it's far better to have a small marketcap and work from there because you can take more risks trying new things and you aren't risking millions of dollars of other peoples money.
2144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple pump over and down you go! on: March 03, 2015, 11:47:42 AM
Ripple operates on the greater fool theory whereas Bitcoin is a mineable commodity like Gold, just a modern version.  Two totally different concepts On top of that Ripple is a central company nothing to do with crypto's philosophy.
It is in g enormous bubble territory at moment given that only a small % of coins is available to trade on the open market. Dev is keeping his stash off market and Jeb cant use his 10  Billion for some time by agreement. All the billions of coins given away to "strategic partners" (friends, coinmarketcap, banks.......) are off market as well as they have no need to recoup the investment as they where freebies to start with.
Numbers just dont add up left right centre, fast majority of trade inhouse at ripple gateways......

I think you guys are wrong about ripple since it's fine if its run by a company (especially google labs), look for a good buy point in the next week or two.
2145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 03, 2015, 11:33:15 AM
All the XPY walls were broken down to 0.001 BTC and that's where it's headed since it now needs fresh buy's in order to support the sell pressure. Anyone in their right mind would never touch something that is continually making fresh lows like this and who has 100k XPY anyways to just dump on the market..

As price drops lower and lower eventually people follow suit and sell at a loss in order to make any money back, it puts it in a death spiral.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon X13 POS Only - [Simulated POW through POS]- Get your CON on!! on: March 03, 2015, 10:55:56 AM
Lol, I was hoping you guys would take it well, I try my best to be upfront about everything.

I'm not going anywhere, this project and pushing development is worth more to me than the money itself and even took some loss by selling some 50-60k. PayCon's marketcap is around 5-6k but fundamentally it's worth a lot more than that, there has been more updates (code and surrounding infrastructure) in one month than most Coins ever produce.

The update of a new DNS-seeder and built into the Windows/Mac wallets, and updated links was actually a fairly important update since we want to bring in new people but I remember when I was new to Crypto and even a config file, finding it, and understanding what it does was a struggle for me so if we want to push higher, we need everything to be as easy as possible for new people to get started and then teaching them about all the fundamentals. It also takes the pressure off of running the nodes in which keeps everyone connected, the original hardfork I put in ended up blocking the DNS-seeder that muddafudda setup but I had anticipated that might happen which was the reason for the static nodes in the first place.

I think everyone should be trying to learn as much as possible when it comes to the Blockchain and coding because that is where the real stability comes in, there is nothing more reassuring than being able to make changes to a Coin yourself. Even minimal knowledge in the field is worthwhile, there is maybe 100-200 people on these forums that actually know how to code, most of the rest had their Coin made for them and don't understand how it works and sit back hoping that someone else will come along and make it worth something. If you know how to clone and code and really push yourself then the money comes on it's own because you possess knowledge, experience and trust, and that makes you a commodity in itself.

We need to keep those buy orders coming in, if it's too low then if people need to sell then they can't without dropping the market.

As if to prove you right, someone just dumped

No, it was me that dumped.

I stretched myself too far between paying for hosting, wallet upgrades and buying some Coins and was $100 short on rent Sad

Simetimes i just wondering why this price con so low , newbie coin out there has better price Huh

CON is 600, DOGE is 56, NOBL is 12

We need to keep those buy orders coming in, if it's too low then if people need to sell then they can't without dropping the market.
2149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CON] PayCon X13 POS Only - [Simulated POW through POS]- Get your CON on!! on: March 02, 2015, 11:12:27 AM
Iīm in a beta programm of FIDOR bank (www.fidor.de) which is working together with Bitcoin.de

I can buy BTC almost instantly in seconds with my bank account via FIDOR-Api over their FIDOR-OS.

My bank implemented Ripple long time ago and now Bitcoin into the classic banking system - love it!

Next is PayCon(CON) i hope lol

Totally, I think the step in doing that is first revising the Fees a bit and looking into ways where we can combat Blockchain Bloat.

Bloat is a problem in all Coins and everyone just ignores it, including Bitcoin like it's not a problem that a Blockchain takes forever to sync. I have been interested in working with snapshots and would like to eventually implement a system where a year or more of data can be trimmed from the Blockchain, PandaCoin also has a unique quick-sync function that lets you bootstrap the Blockchain and sync the entire chain in under 15 minutes, now if you combine the two into a neat little system, you never have to care about data growth. A quick-sync function can also be easily achieved with as little of a function of just hosting a full Blockchain now and then (as what MintCoin does) which is the Blockchain and a couple files hosted in a dedicated source in which can be downloaded directly, placed in the Blockchain folder, run the client and sync from there.

Ripple uses a different system than Bitcoin, they have a type of ledger system that prunes off old transactions after a period of time which makes it a much more efficient system.

700% gain isn't sustainable, take profits now or cry later.

BAM, I called the top to a tee

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ripple/#charts

Would be a good time to start buying back in USD I think or atleast over the next week or two.

If we can get on Bittrex, we can sign up PayCon for Hamuki's multi-pool service https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=932225.msg10619756#msg10619756 and then we can mine for CON and create more buy pressure.

I can't see how Bittrex would not want to list PayCon.

well i do not much about how this works all i know is that CON is the first coin that has given back real value

and i just want to help maintain its worth .. look the only reason Bitcoin  is valued the way it is its due to the fact that its commercialized wall street and big bank got their grubby hand on it ..

PayCon is a community Coin, the best way to help it gain value is by trying to learn about how it works, and then seeing what ways it can be improved. PayCon is not owned by any one person, if someone else wanted to create a new PayCon thread and take over a new Github, they could do that. Muddafudda couldn't run PayCon so I just took it over and helped make it a little more self-sustaining, rewarding, and a little more useful.

Each person is a part owner based on how much they own, if you are active then those Coins gain intrinsic value over time at a higher rate over supply growth to a limited degree.
2153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which are the bright new altcoins of 2015? on: March 01, 2015, 02:35:34 PM

CON's been doing well, up 500% in 4 weeks Smiley

https://c-cex.com/?p=con-btc

maybe,
you mean from the ICO/IPO price???

on c-cex i don't see +500% from the beginning..

From low to high in 4 weeks, actually more than 500% when you take in inflation of 50% more Coins during those 30 days as well, I don't think you can really count the initial pump of price discovery.

There was no ICO/IPO

Mudda had a 50K premine for making it, in the original ann topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=912034.0

he said he couldn't keep going, I decided to make some changes to it in order to improve it, changed the rewards, the difficulty, added a few features, got some social media going.

Market isn't that big yet but can easily find more uses in order to create more liquidity.
2154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Colossuscoin v 2.0 (CV2) | Launched! [X13] [PoW/PoS] [in 100% PoS Stage] on: March 01, 2015, 02:20:04 PM
Is anything happening here..?  Undecided What is the timeline for this coin? What is supposed to be done on this coin and when? Could the dev post some short roadmap with dates?

I have been looking for help from someone more experienced to create a snapshot, otherwise if the COL Blockchain could atleast run then people could just trade directly to the dev team. The Coin is made, it runs well, and ready to be swapped, I am still new to this though so would be best if COL holders don't just rely on me to do everything since I'm not really being paid for this. I have been asking around the community for people knowledgeable in a Clams-like distribution but haven't had too much luck with it, I think it's still very new technology.
2155  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 01, 2015, 01:59:39 PM
Yes, right now Josh&Co are able to scoop up ~50-100 BTC per day using only the payouts from the Prime Controllers and maybe tapping into some of the many (dozens, hundreds?) of smaller private wallets they have. After the price tanks further, it will require more and more XPY to maintain the same amount of BTC intake per day. At some point they will likely dip into the vast amounts currently in the Prime Controllers and such.

I previously found a wallet possibly linking to GAW with some 8k BTC in it and corresponded with a fair amount of market sells, also if Coins aren't being pulled from the primes they will compound quickly. With compounding, and short Block limits it's like 3500% per year through the primes, give or take. The primes are like BTC generation machines, lol
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Pearl on: March 01, 2015, 12:14:26 PM
Hello CLAMS community!!!

I would just like to say great job with CLAMS and keep up the good work, the way the Coins was distributed is absolutely phenomenal.

I have come here asking for your help in a similar type of distribution from one Blockchain to another using the CLAMS method. I have been working with ColossusCoin for some time but the ColossusCoin Blockchain is big, buggy and needs so much work that it is would be easier to just create a whole new Blockchain. I created ColossusCoin2 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=941433.0 as a fully POS only Coin, and it's already listed on alcurex exchange and has it's own block explorer http://bitexp.net/explorer.php?coin=Colossuscoin and very high Proof of Stake difficulty!

What I want to do is create a redeemscript for CV2 at a 20:1 amount using COL private keys and owners keep their own keys and after a period of 3 months that the remaining amount that has not been redeemed will become part of the Development Fund. Can you guys help me with this? we have set aside a portion of the Coins for development and can pay for the help in setting this up in CV2 or do a small presale at a good price in BTC. Someone with some knowledge in the field would be much appreciated and please do not hesitate to pm me.

I've updated the links to the Wallets in the OP to include up to date links to social media and links to exchanges in the social/exchange tab. Now when users first download the wallet they will be able to connect straight away, and already have all relevant links handy.

PayCon now has in-wallet trading Smiley

How come you aren't posting on hashtalk if you like XPY so much? I bet you Josh would give you a job as lead shiller and technical artista of the church of GAW but you would have to be ok with being paid in XPY in which you can dump in the market.

I've been asked to post on a lot of forums, like Cryptocointalk and others but I don't have time.

As for HT, I opened an account 2 days ago and now it won't let me log-in.  It says error/forbidden I think.

I tried to open a new account but get forbidden again.

So I'm not sure, I never even posted once so why would I get banned.  I have had some bad arguments with Garza on here but if I never posted to HT I dont see how he could know it's me.

Well, I did use Vlad2Vlad as my alias.  haha, but I doubt he sifts through all new accounts.

I would love to "shill" for any coin where all I do is post what I believe.  Would be great.

I wouldn't sell any of my shilling XPY right now since [so far] everything points to some bigger plan and a big potential boom [soon].

That all depends on what your endgame is, profit is profit.

They should really fix their forums and also never really argue or ban anyone, you should never need to moderate harshly. If you don't moderate anything then there is nothing you can complain about since it's full transperancy.

I've never really signed up to hashtalk myself, I've seen a few posts but it was messy to get around, I guess we'll see how it all unfolds since they have a lot of work to do.
2160  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 01, 2015, 09:18:27 AM
so it seems this house of cards is having huge problems.
from 3 up to 6 days and still people cant withdraw their money from paybase. yes i would definetly put my money somewhere that denies access to it. lets wait for the "we got hacked"-announcement

Has this ever happened before?

Who is withdrawing from paybase, hashstakers or who exactly?

Those withdrawing from PayBase, are they withdrawing cash, BTC, XPY or what?

If it's BTC or cash, would that come directly from having to sell/convert XPY?

Just trying to figure out if there is a logical reason for such a delay and if so what would be the next logical step.

Cheers!

How come you aren't posting on hashtalk if you like XPY so much? I bet you Josh would give you a job as lead shiller and technical artista of the church of GAW but you would have to be ok with being paid in XPY in which you can dump on bagholders Wink
