2162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who were the morons that bought 60k bitcoin? on: June 06, 2021, 11:59:16 PM
I'm just curious.... Or didn't sell 60k bitcoin? or 50k or 40k

we all gotta learn our lessons Smiley
If you're not in hurry, you can wait for more until another 4 years will come and the possible Bitcoin price will rise again after halving will come again.
But if you will blindly accept your loss because you think Bitcoin will not raise again, and selling Bitcoin under the price where did you have bought it, it's up to you.

Investors should understand first Bitcoin price movement, believe me, or not Bitcoin price will always create a new all-time high and it might that is your best shot to sell.  Once your profit once there, that's the right time to sell or hold furthermore if you aim higher amount of profit than your expected.

They're not morons not unless they will sell their Bitcoin under the price they'd bought it.
2163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell My Portfolio for 75% of a Bitcoin? on: June 06, 2021, 11:09:17 PM
A good spread..

ETH 30.23%

BTC 26.43%

XMR 10.39%

VET 9.60%

Other 23.35% (LINK, XRP, ADA, ALGO, ONE, HOT)
Keep in mind that altcoins have the potential to gain profit in a short period of time, not like Bitcoin, it's good for the long run.  If you're going to ask me, it's better to give a large allocation of Bitcoin in your portfolio than the altcoins.  As I noticed, altcoins might be manipulated under the pump and dump group which is very risky when you store it for a long period of time.

I don't have enough information about the two altcoins above, XMR and VET and I don't think there's a potential to them.  I just wonder why you didn't choose BNB, as long as Binance was there, they are very promising coins as well.

I suggest you to have always a DYOR in altcoins to pick as an investment and good luck with that.
2164  Economy / Exchanges / Re: PayPal and BTC on: June 06, 2021, 03:45:31 PM
Is that Coinpal.eu?  It seems like a Bitcoin mixer going to Paypal right?

I didn't hear any alternative but as what I have got in my short research, Coinpal doesn't have a good reputation, many had a complaint about scamming incident using Coinpal.  But anyway, they have a thread here before but now it is locked, CoinPal beta - Buying bitcoins with PayPal.

What you're concern here?  Buying Bitcoin using Paypal?  I think it is easy for now to buy Bitcoin using Paypal and Paypal was recently announced that users can able to transfer their Bitcoin to another wallet or external wallet through Paypal and I think there's no need to use another third party site.

Or use a Bitcoin mixer and here is a 2021 List Bitcoin Mixers Bitcoin Tumblers Websites.
2165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: June 06, 2021, 02:52:35 PM
It's already on mainstream mate and used as a medium exchange in most countries even though there are some governments that banned or restricted Bitcoin but still, their people can be traded on it using a decentralized exchange.  You can check here which countries were banned Bitcoin, but AFAIK, people can still use Bitcoin anytime as they want and banning isn't a barrier to them to use Bitcoin.

It seems it's clear now that Bitcoin has been already traded by anywhere around the world and the adoption will have an infinite growth day by day because of its popularity.  No doubt that those institutional investors will follow among others who had been adopted Bitcoin already because they saw how potential it is and also uisng as a e-money Bitcoin is the best choice.
2166  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Checking your posting history a day before weekly posting ends on: June 05, 2021, 04:42:51 PM
If you're frequently a good poster here, there's no need to count your post towards the whole week just to meet the signature campaign weekly quota.  If your habit can able to have 4-5 posts daily, that's too much count total posts for the weekly quota, (4 posts x 7 days = 28posts) for sure you will give a better shot for every post not to spam just like keep engaging in a mega-threads which commonly posts and replies there are redundant or consider as a spam.

So if you're doing this, you don't have a problem checking your post history, you know that your posts are genuine and informative or contributing a lot in the forum for sure it will not be deleted.  Especially a thread that has content more of technical stuff, it will not delete for sure.

For now, just move on and improve your posting style.
2167  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Will there be more scams without centralized financial institutions? on: June 05, 2021, 04:11:41 PM
It's not about decentralized or centralized financial institutions here causing more scams, it's us, people who have supposedly reliable and should have responsibility for keeping our crypto assets safe.  Those people who had been scammed by a centralized exchange platform because they don't have diligence, or greed and naive people will always fall into the trap of scammers.

Until they don't learn and there are newcomers who will always fall to them, the process of scamming will never end and always have infinite growth as always.

I hope OP you aren't one of them.
2168  Other / Meta / Re: Elon Musk threads are moved to Off-topic ? on: June 05, 2021, 03:45:09 PM
Bravo!

That's a good move by mods and I'm glad to know it, all topics mentioned on this Twitter social media influencer name (***) should be deserved to move on that off-topic board (much better if mods will auto-delete) and not on the Bitcoin discussion board.  It seems all sections here on the forum was mentioned his name and I think we helped him to be more well known in that way.  It's time to include his name on our ignore list and even mentioning his name I didn't do it.

These days, I saw spamming his name in all topics especially on the Bitcoin discussion board which is I avoided interfering since he started giving a shit into Bitcoin.  He is anti-Bitcoin now and he does not have a place to discuss it here.
2169  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum seed lost on: June 04, 2021, 11:46:30 PM
This thread is related to your problem and OmegaStarScream shows an image how the wallet.file look likes on this post and possible it should be there in your device had used in downloading Electrum.  Once you will find it, it is easy for you to decrypt your seed phare.

If this will not work, sorry to tell you but there's no other way to recover your wallet, seed phrase is very important in all crypto wallets, if you lost it, there's nothing you can do even how brute force you made it will not work.  I don't think why the only password you have to keep safe not the private key which is the most important than the password.
2170  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: prompt wallets for storing and buying cryptocurrency on: June 04, 2021, 11:26:15 PM
I am completely new to this business, but have already used some exchanges.  Many of them turned out to be dishonest.  Where do you store your bitcoins?
What exchange becomes dishonest?  Can you share with us here?

The above was right and I tend to agree with, a hardware wallet is the best option for storing Bitcoin in a long run.  But did you know that I'm using a different wallet now.  I have a cold storage wallet which is a hardware wallet, this wallet is intended for long-term saving/storing my Bitcoin that no one knows even my family.  The second one is they called it a hot wallet, I used Electrum for the hot wallet that every month nor weeks I've to make transaction sending it into my local wallet which is if I want to cash out my Bitcoin into fiat.

I know it sounds paranoid but will understand if you valued your crypto assets and keep them safe.

BTW, for the right link of Electrum here it is. https://electrum.org/#download
2171  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Good exchanges with lax KYC ? on: June 04, 2021, 03:59:56 PM
Anyway, you might want to check out KuCoin. KYC is not required for users. But there's a withdrawal limit of 5BTC every 24 hours for unverified users. They also have a mobile trading app.
If the exchange is centralized they will have strict KYC rules at some point no matter what they are doing right now. If they already enforce some level of KYC like this case (eg. for some users with higher trading volume) then they will eventually enforce stricter KYC rules or selectively freeze some users' funds to demand the strict KYC compliance.
There has been many cases on different exchanges of freezing funds that you can't trust any of them any more.
That's expected that there's KYC stuff in any centralized platform that related to a financial asset.  It involved freezing fund because they don't fuck up the money laundering cases which is heavily regulated by the law and follow country's jurisdiction.  That's why upon using an exchange platform, always put in mind reading the Terms of Service (TOS) or even the Frequently Ask Question (FAQ).

Go for any P2P exchange if you're trying to avoid this freezing fund due to KYC.  Bisq or Hodl-Hodl are the best options when it comes to P2P trading exchange.
2172  Economy / Economics / Re: I currently cannot own a Paypal, Bank Account, CashApp, etc on: June 04, 2021, 03:09:51 PM
I am underage, meaning I cannot own a PayPal, Bank Account, CashApp, etc. Do you guys know any alternatives. I want to know because, If i want to sell some coin, I give me dad the coin, and he gives me cash in hand. But lets say a coin spikes or crashes when hes at work, in that case I wont be able to cashout. Do you guys know any other payment ways to USD?

Thanks guys!
It's hard to answer your question if you want to cash out your fund without a bank account because usually, it needs above age of 18 so that you can able to create your own bank account and transfer there if you want to cash out from exchange.  But, you can create a bank account below 18, there's a teen bank account that allow but of course with parental consent and that's a joint owner account.  Your parents can monitor your account activity.

There's no alternative way to sell your coin from an exchange and then cash out the fund without a bank account, not unless, if you have sold it in person-to-person which is also a risk on your part.

My advice is when there's a crash on the price, fro exchange convert your coin into a stable coin like USDT and if the price will not back until your dad come, that's the right time your dad will help you to cash out your fund, using Coinbase or any local exchnage that you can able to convert your USDT cash.  LBC might the right one.
2173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Devalued coin scam attempt, newbies please be aware! on: June 01, 2021, 11:08:49 PM
Thank you for sharing this, this is new to me, even though it's obvious that it has a red flag since the scammer offers an escrow service even though he is a buyer, and not by the OP.  IMO, Telegram is full of bogus activities we should be careful if we receive bogus PMs from unknown users offering something good on the internet.

If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't true.
This is most commonly we encountered if there's a scammer and I tend to agree with this and greed people will always fall into their trap.  We should always have verification when we receive an offer that it seems good to be true.

We're so lucky because we know their strategies here about their scamming style.  We should be vigilant in dealing with people on the internet special like the OP that already well known as a campaign manager of course many of them attempting to scam them.
2174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to earn some profit trading BTC on: June 01, 2021, 10:41:22 PM
The fact that trading isn't that just easy way of making money, in OP video might coincidence of something you've got lucky and I'm sure, you will not consistently have the same result in trading.  Because others think that trading is a sort of gambling but with low risk if you know the technical and fundamental stuff.

OP should give a better output on how OP does it, something like a technical analysis explanation that shows proof of having accurate prediction, and in that case, it might there are a few members here who will follow his steps.  In another case, it seems you have entered into a pump and dump group which is a very risky thing and might soon put you in the trap to their own benefits, it's better to stop while it's early.
2175  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2021 starting to look like 2013 more than 2017 on: June 01, 2021, 10:23:39 PM
It might happen or might not, there's no guarantee for this speculation.  There's plenty of speculations in the Speculation board regarding this matter but all of them will remain speculating using the historical performance of Bitcoin price movement.  Well possible the history repeats itself as we look at there's the same pattern.

IMO, there's a possible bullish trend next for this dip sharp corrections happened, big institutional investors start getting interested in Bitcoin adoption and there are big events that will happen just like the Bitcoin taproot upgrade with the support with almost all Bitcoin miners.  All of these will probably give better shots soon and we might not be struggling at the price of $30k. range.
2176  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockfolio app not working after latest update on: June 01, 2021, 05:27:38 PM
It has a lot of complaints on Reddit the same on this issue.

The above was right as most suggested it there, just uninstall and reinstall back, because there's no rollback on the update it will possible for you to back the previous version.  I stopped using this coin tracker app earlier because even the token is delisted on exchange but still I can see on the app, instead, you can use Coinmarketcap or other coin trackers that fully functional to this.

Here's the Reddit thread similar to your issue.
2177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This dip is PROOF that "I wish I would've bought Bitcoin at X price" is nonsense on: June 01, 2021, 04:03:40 PM
I never want to hear people say "I wish I would've bought Bitcoin at X Price".....because these are the people that would INSTANTLY SELL the second Bitcoin had a 30% or higher correction!
I remember this before when my friend said, "How I wish I will win the mega jackpot in the lotto" knowing that she didn't even purchase at least 1 ticket from the lottery.  It should be action speaks louder than words, because those people didn't want to take a risk and then regret when they witnessed a good opportunity that supposedly they will get benefit into it.

These people aren't a long term holder, every time when there's a new ATH come, this line was commonly we heard from them.
They were always afraid to invest and always doubt Bitcoin's capabilities to make money easily, in fact, most of them are short-term investors who will always be looking at the price chart that will easily get FUD and becomes a panic seller.

I think this isn't nonsense because there's a chance they will enter soon in the market, the one who didn't make any sense if someone had bought Bitcoin and sold it at a cheap price.
2178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Protect your valuable personal information by avoiding tempting offers! on: May 31, 2021, 11:59:08 PM
Tempting offers are for the greedy ones so if they get caught they deserve it,
I tend to agree with it, only greedy and naive people will fall into this kind of trap.  This is very common in my country, you will receive a text message from an unknown number, asking your name, address, email account and etc which common information that might be linked to your bank account.  It's almost a million of our local currency prize that they said I have won.  It's very exciting stuff but I have in my mind I never join any of what the text message I received.

During this pandemic, there's a lot of scam attempt, we should be careful and be vigilant at all times.

BTW, thanks for sharing this OP.
2179  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you making money online? on: May 31, 2021, 11:44:09 PM
I'm currently working at a normal 8-hour shift job, 6 times per day in order to make a living, but I was always seeking some extra income that could be earned at home.
Relate on this, I also have a job working 8 hours per day and it's 6 days a week.  Though I'm a regular wage earner and have a stable source of income, I'm still thinking to have an extra income from the internet or even outside that I can still manage with my time, I will grab it.  Luckily, I'm here in the forum which had an opportunity to earn money online which is give a better advantage.

I'm thinking of this good opportunity that might give a lifetime source of income someday from the internet, for now, I'm accumulating funds for this.  I have a plan to build my own Bitcoin mining but first, I need to set up first the source of electricity, to build a solar electric system to save the high cost of the electric bills.
2180  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: May 31, 2021, 11:28:08 PM
If you will going to HOLD longer then there will be no option for whale to manipulate the market, because the only thing they can do is to shake the market and if noob and week investors affected of the movement then the whales success .
but if all of us small investors will not take part then we will win against them.
That's what a strong hand will always defeat the whale, even how they will spread their FUD, no one will listen to them and follow what they say.

Those wealthy and high institutional investors are considered as a whale and they are enemies to us a small investor.  A low volume altcoins are easy for them to shake and create FUD so that weak people will easily believe in their hidden agenda of making a profit in the market.

That's why to invest in what you can afford because holding for a long time and aiming to gain profit isn't easy.  There's no time frame for that or else, patiently wait until it will come.
