1221  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful with projects that imitate airdrops and their sales. on: May 02, 2022, 11:17:47 PM
The problem with Twitter and even the other social media platform, people can easily make and change their names which is why it is hard for them to get traced and caught by the authority.
If the authority will directly ask this platform staff it might be caught but if the account was made for the scam purpose and everything was there is fake, there's nothing we can do.

This is a part of Elon Musk's plan when he bought this platform, to eliminate those fake accounts that cause different scams and also spamming a scam on Twitter or defeating spambots.  He wants to become a decentralized platform, an open-source algorithm.

This isn't new, we always encounter fake social media accounts from those popular projects for the purpose to scam people.  Learn how to verify the legitimacy.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is your bitcoin hero (excluding Satoshi)? on: May 02, 2022, 10:59:39 PM
+1 for Hal being the face of bitcoin.
I tend to agree, this dude deserves to be called a Hero of all heroes in Bitcoin.
Hal Finny was here since the Bitcoin forum was created and he contributed a lot to this forum sometimes I may think that he deserves to call and has a right to claim as a satoshi.

I always think that those who spend large sums of Bitcoin before also can be called a Hero, the pizza man, and also the forum member donators contributed Bitcoin for the sake of the forum that was created by the creator of Bitcoin.

There are a lot of them who deserve a Hero badge.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFTs aren't just there yet on: May 02, 2022, 10:45:20 PM
IMO, when there's a hype project (like NTFs) it's always prone to hack or project itself turn into a scam, that's why those NTF projects don't have a real concept were usually considered as scam.  I think only P2E games have a better concept on this NTF because they have a real use which is everyone has been tried through Axie Infinity which is everyone has profited already.

I also think that there are some NTF projects belong to the pump and dump price which is obviously a scam.
1224  Economy / Exchanges / Re: You can now buy bitcoin on telegram messaging app on: May 02, 2022, 10:26:01 PM
If we have to KYC anyway, we might as well go to an actual exchange which offers more. Another thing, isn't telegram still relying on SMS 2fa? which makes it bad for anything beyond small amounts given how insecure it is.
When we're talking about financial matters on Telegram, I'm always doubtful about it since as I know, this platform was most likely a house of scammers who couldn't give any trust.  So, I didn't convince to use this service because there are a lot of scams that happened on Telegram and now how can we verify the legitimacy of the app.

At least, the topic above becomes an afterthought for me personally, about the bad dealing with crypto in the telegram application channel.
I tend to agree which is better if you will direct on the exchange either DEX or CEX.
1225  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurrency trading courses on: May 02, 2022, 10:09:03 PM
i'm looking for a good trading course. i found some good ones on udemy based on reviews but im not quite sure if they are actually worth it. i dont know how to value them. i want to learn trading from A to Z step by step without jumping here and there on youtube. ive been doing quite till now but i feel i have knowledge gaps. if u can please link me to some nice courses i'll be thankfull.
Student's of accountancy and banking and finance students are in position to recommend cryptocurrency  or trading text books you can read, but you can as well make your own inquiring of trading text books you can read from online or you ask Google it will displace the possible text books of cryptocurrency and also give you experience to read more
Everything is now on the internet, just simply use the search button on Google Chrome and you will have the answer to those crypto trading courses that we need.  There are a lot of crypto trading courses too that can be found if you want to research them.
But remember they are just a tool in trading, you still need the luck to guess the market price, trading is very crucial and not just easy to make money.

Speaking of Udemy courses, if you really want to have research I tend to agree they are good, I don't know much time you need to spend reading textbooks but AFAIK, they had 250,000 courses on virtually any subjects that might need to pick which is a better one.
1226  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is the new HOME on: May 01, 2022, 11:31:49 PM
3. There will come a time where satoshi's ( 0.0000*** BTC ) will be worth a lot, buying 1$ BTC every day or two can still be huge someday, you are not too late.
All have been answered above but this caught my attention.
I have heard different stories about this kind of saving money in the future, saving at least $1 a day to buy Bitcoin or it will weekly or monthly doesn't matter as long as the money you've invested is the amount that you can afford.  A small fraction of Bitcoin will be worth it in the future surely the demand will increase and the price will go up.  It's not too late to invest, Bitcoin will always reach ATH and it was proven for how many years of its existence.

All you've mentioned above is good though you've got a little misconception regarding how Bitcoin transactions will work it was answered already above.  I hope you've learned those precious comments above.
1227  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What process should I go through, for gathering funds to develop my app idea ? on: May 01, 2022, 11:01:43 PM
There are too many projects trying to and planning to raise funds and it's called ICO but I don't know how you can get the trust of the investors since ICO becomes a common ground the scammers and maybe you will be face difficulties with your plan especially if you're lack of fund to sustain your project.

Maybe just proceed to plan 1 and follow this article, this will help you an insight into how to start your project.  Because there are a lot of factors to consider before you will start not just only a money.
1228  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Kraken has lowered Bitcoin Lightning withdrawal fee to ZERO on: May 01, 2022, 03:29:53 PM
Anyone with a Kraken account used this yet? What is the maximum limit on withdrawals? Does it process instantly, or is there still a delay? Do Kraken allow Lightning deposits as well?
Good questions and I hope there's someone who can give an insight on this and it might be those who have personally used this platform and experienced it.

It's good news for all traders out there, they have now a choice to have a zero fee by using this exchange.  Actually, AFAIK, as I know there are 4 of them as candidates that adopt Lightning Network last year, Coinbase, Binance, Robinhood, and Kraken but now I didn't expect that Kraken take it seriously and now it has a zero fee, it's a great advantage to trader.  We hope some of those popular exchange platforms will follow and do the same on Kraken.  What do you think about Bitfinex that already adopted this LN protocol?  Maybe it will do the same.
1229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Investing Myths vs Crypto Investor Reality on: April 29, 2022, 04:22:32 PM
Not bad, but it's a lack of information, there are too many factors to understand before starting to invest, and the truth that should reveal and the new crypto investors will learn.  How about this, "invest what you can afford to lose".

As a new investor, this is advisable to them, "buy low and sell high" it's kinda playing safe while you're understanding the market, it's pretty basic and everyone will easily adopt it.  No one will sell under the price where they bought it.

But did you know as an investor know should also know this  "Not your keys not your coins".
Storing on a centralized or third-party wallet isn't good at all and I know you're just promoting your exchange which unpopular one.
1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roger Ver resurfaces on Twitter, backs doge and bitcoin cash on: April 29, 2022, 03:23:41 PM
Now Roger Ver want to mislead may people with his tweet.
I think that his main goal is to create a bit of drama, hence making people talk about him. And.. we've just started doing that. Yet again.
This was also in my mind while reading the line of the post quoted above, it seems he wants to seek attention and to create drama that anyone argues with him.  But the fact is, people have learned and already know which is a better coin that gives a true meaning of decentralized.  Not a centralized crypto that he created (claiming better than Bitcoin) and now it was failed.

I didn't surprise if one day Bitcoin cash and Dogecoin shilling on Twitter and it might this is the hidden agenda why Roger Ver making such noise on Twitter.
There's nothing we can do for both of them, they're all against Bitcoin and I think we shouldn't discuss them.
1231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Every 4 Year on: April 26, 2022, 11:59:40 PM
It is very optimistic to think about the $200k-300k price for Bitcoin for simply because we are not even sure how this halving creates a huge increase, $100k is seemed achievable and near to reality.
There's no possibility on the Bitcoin price will create another ATH, just like last year, we didn't expect that Bitcoin will have experience twice ATH within the year.  The demand and supply were still there and as I can see, the adoption has been increasing and the awareness also keeps spreading and I have no doubt Bitcoin will reach that amount but of course, without a specific time frame.

Still, no one can tell what will happen to the Bitcoin price, it remains unpredictable.  But in our conclusion, if the adoption will keep spreading, the demand will become lesser which means the price will become more expensive, 4 years from now is kind of tougher to predict, there are too many things that will happen for sure.
1232  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buying Property With Crypto (Bitcoin) on: April 26, 2022, 11:54:32 PM
Maybe this is what you're looking for which is found while stumbling on google.
https://cryptorealestate.cc/property-city/asia/

But I tend to agree with NeuroticFish above, be specific on which Asia countries you want to find and post it on in the local community here in the forum.
Many local members will help you to find a legitimate site that truly deals with real states using Bitcoin to purchase.

Or each country seeks a lawyer for this further information that didn't violate the law.
1233  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: GodRays - A new way to analyze crypto-markets on: April 26, 2022, 11:45:15 PM
2. Your YouTube link does not work. It's likely you posted a wrong one or the video was deleted.
It works fine to me, though I didn't watch the full video and it seems it's a great trading tool for technical analysis.

They've similarities on the Tradingview site, did you have a comparison between both of them?
There are too many lines on the graph, I don't know which one is the support or the resistance.  Maybe ain't good on technical analysis so I have a little bit confused about the video.  However, it's a great tool.
1234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 26, 2022, 10:57:56 PM
He can shill all the time Dogecoin.
This is possible and we hope that it won't happen.

But if he accepts Bitcoin as a payment in having crypto ads on that platform, that would have an effect on Bitcoin in the future.  But this dude is pretty smart, we don't know what his next month and we can't predict it.  Let's see what will happen next.

For him, just free speech.

1235  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just maybe on: April 26, 2022, 10:49:59 PM
He's a smart investor and I believe he's going to throw in one or two stuff that will further propel Twitter to value appreciation.
I tend to agree with this even though the crypto enthusiast community hate him in the past because he influenced the market.
But the fact is he is very smart and he knows what he doing and for sure, this always has a benefit to him.  Buying the Twitter platform for sure he has a purpose on it, there's a hidden agenda behind purchasing that big company, he can maybe make money on his own with his coins.

But I hope I'm the wrong conclusion, as what he said, he has a better plan for this platform to be good than before.
Making decentralized social media platforms as his plan sounds good, this makes fake accounts vanish that made scammed a lot of people before.
1236  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: April 26, 2022, 10:39:38 PM
If you're a big risk taker hoping that you will gain profit without having knowledge and skills in trading it seems like you gamble your money in that way.
Being greedy traders isn't right, we should always have a stop-loss when we're in trading and forget about aiming for a high profit because IMO, I prefer to make a small but frequent profit.

Trading needs a lot of research, more analysis like technical and fundamental analysis, if you didn't have this, much better to choose the long term investment which is safe but it will surely make a profit, but the difference is, there's no time frame when you will get your profit, as long as you can patiently wait when the bull run comes.
1237  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Uniswap Starts Blocking Addresses Linked To 'Blocked Activities' on: April 26, 2022, 02:28:37 PM

0x9fd twitter user us using his Russian IP address which Uniswap must have comply to block the country. They are starting to comply with the law, DEX I think are going to be forced to do it. Feels not decentralized anymore. The link about it is here https://help.uniswap.org/en/articles/6149816-address-screening-faq

And here's what he tweeted on Twitter..
As I saw in the comment section, it might be he used a VPN before and the IP address is linked to a Russian country server which is possible can be suspected of having illegal activities.

It seems not a decentralized exchange anymore and it could be people or traders who might criticize that exchange that is truly blocked, traders.
This exchange isn't good anymore, who's next?
1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEWARE OF FALSE CRYPTOCURRENCY TRADING PLATFORMS on: April 25, 2022, 11:59:43 PM
Most of them are CEX and here's a Compilation of all "Scam Accusations" threads related to exchanges made by Raja_MBZ, avoid them all.

Most CEX exchanges are prone to scams even though how popular they are.  I rather trust DEXs like Hodl hodl or Bisq when it comes to trading since it's quite safe than these CEXs.

In Telegram (a house or scammers), I received various PMs sending a link of unknown exchange that surely that is scam exchange, avoid them too.
1239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: April 25, 2022, 11:46:18 PM
For sure Dogecoin now has a place to hype.

Ain't know if this is good or bad news for crypto or Bitcoin itself but it seems the intention of Elon Musk towards this platform is good.
But I tend to agree above, it could be also a misuse that could benefit him and make a hype of any coins that he wanted to pump.

Whatever the hidden agenda why Elon Musk bought this platform, let's hope that's good and based on his proposal, and here's what he says he'll do next.
1240  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: avoid scam telegram groups , find useful tools and channels on: April 25, 2022, 11:30:51 PM
I smell something not good in OP, look at the above pointed out by Potato Chips, OP use other accounts just to convince other people to join the group OP created and claim it as a legitimate one.  Possibly, OP will do this if someone joins OP's group, for sure someone pretending that the group is legitimate but all those accounts are controlled by the OP, it's a trap for those who wanted to join, IMO.

Avoid these social media, they are the house of scammers and including the OP group.
