Someone is pushing down the price on Bittrex.

Yeah I see the load of 5000 brit sells, the market is quite easy to manipulate when the volume is low, all we can do is buy or hold!

Bank of England analyzing Bitcoin technology for those who missed it.

"Ultimately every transaction involving a financial asset must
be recorded and most of these records are digital. The
structure of the broader financial system is similar to
payments in that these records are held by centralised third
parties. The application of decentralised technology to this
platform of digital information could have far-reaching
implications, other industries whose products were digitised
have been reshaped by new technology. The impact of the
distributed ledger on the financial industry could be much
wider than payments.
"

TLDR: They still think that the blockchain tech is for digital Finance only.

We should put our politicians on the blockchain Smiley

Dennemann has implemented it but has a couple of little bugs to iron out, so it shouldn't be much longer. If you didn't know it's the anon the XC had open sourced, so yeah it's a good one:)

Hope to get some more work in this weekend when the other dev gets off work Smiley

Good, good:)

Dev, you keep ignoring my question, so I will ask it for the third and final time, please could you give us a rough estimate (doesn't have to be set in stone) on when this coin will be going live and offering the cloud services, thanks for any reply.

We are already offering cloud services, payment system is working, account are being setup free or paid.

i don't know if you noticed the operation report for week one, the next report would be for the end of the month.

I meant anon email and video chat ans so on.

yea they are working, do you have an account on the xcloud already ?

No, I do not have an account yet, damn feel a little foolish now as I wasn't aware that these services were already working.

I will sign up and test them out.

My bad, Leigh.

Marketplace will launch this weekend. My webhost is moving server and he said it will probably be back up on Friday.

That's great news.  Can't wait to buy some stuff for Brits. Cheesy

What sort of things can we buy?

Looks like we just hit an all time high!  Well done to everyone, remember to hold and spread the word about BritCoin. Smiley

This coin is still seriously undervalued.

I think you should keep it constant mate.. 1000 makes sense to me, keep it a round number and incentivise holding a reasonable number of coins...

Liking the OP.

Indeed. My guess is that it'll stay 1000 for a while. There's no obvious reason to change it.

Glad you like the OP. :-)

I liked the old figure of 550 XC, it would give people with less XC a chance to earn too, plus it would equal more nodes.

You're right, it would allow more people to run a mixer node.

On the other hand, putting the minimum balance at 1000 effectively means:

Buy XC now while you can afford it!

In addition, I reckon that the factor that'll drive the setting up of more nodes is primarily the renumeration they provide, not the minimum balance. If the income is worth it, then since people generally have the ability to buy 1000 XC, they'll do so.

And the higher minimum is good for XC's price, so I reckon 1000 XC is a good bet for now. We will, of course, gauge the response. The amount isn't final.

Keep at 1000 for now and see how much demand and what sort of profits can be made, then decide:)

I am not in CLD but was just wondering why the price is dropping hard?

Only 1 BTC left in the total order book on trex? What happened here?

We're all wondering that.
The only good news right now is that we're still #1 in voting for a c-cex.com add....

I suppose that's something...

Here are 4 entirely speculative explanations for dumping huge amounts of CLD for up to 45% below the ICO price:

1. IconicExpert is getting out of CLD. I would really like to hear something from IconicExpert. He has been completely absent and silent since the dumping began a couple of weeks ago and hasn't so much as commented or tweeted a word about CLD since he started promoting other coins instead. Perhaps he is trying to accumulate more - or perhaps he just wants out. I know he is too shrewd to sell for a huge loss however so whatever the deal is with him right now he won't be losing money on this. I know he has at least 7BTC worth of CLD from his buying and selling to himself in the past.

2. The premine is being dumped. Really would love to see the address that the premine is being stored to verify that it is for the most part at least in tact and that the dumpings don't correlate with any outgoing transactions of similar value. If the dev could abate these fears that would be fantastic.

3. CLD is being directly sabotaged by BURST holders as revenge for hitting BURST with the servers. Seems to be interest in 'getting back' at CLD over on the Bitcointalk thread and I wouldn't put it past someone to do something like this - costly, stupid but possible.

4. A large whale is fed up with CLD and wants out - at any cost. I still find this hard to believe however because anyone who can afford this sort of coin (he is clearly pilling up the sell orders on the book as well) is smart enough to wait for a pump before cashing out - this is a dumb move however you look at it. Even if he thinks he can double his money on another pump n dump coin he is selling for at least 40% below what he bought in for - that's taking a crazy risk that people with that sort of BTC are not want to do.

Whatever the reasons behind these dumps I have full confidence that we will go up in time. It's too cheap for too few coins in total - that simple.

I know the dev has mined over 5 BTC worth of Burst at least since he revealed the BURST address he is mining to and I have to say if there was ever a time that buy support was needed it is now.

I'd like to submit option 5- someone got bored waiting for the devs to deliver as people expect things instantly and that dump has caused a domino effect. The coin isn't too cheap for the number of coins- we don't have a fully operation service yet. If we did I'd be right with you on that. Until then, the coin is 100% speculative value.

Edit: By deliver i mean released to a full version from beta.

I did ask for a rough time line when the services would be delivered, but the dev did not answer me. And he's late with cloud send.

That IOS wallet looks awesome!

I think it's the android app.

My bad. Still looks really good though!

It is an android app which connects to the web wallet, so you can send and receive BritCoins using anything with web access on mobile/tablet.  This means we can now start getting some merchants on board, even before the launch of Casheer.net Smiley

We will release an iOS wallet in the near future, it may be a few weeks or even months, but for now iPhone users can use their web wallet from their iPhone to send/recieve..  Well they will be able to in a few days when it's live. Cheesy

Glad the iphone users still have an option, this will make a big difference:)
