I just woke up to sub $300!
Immediately logs into circle and buys more coin  Grin

>circle
Will regret unless stolen CC.
2182  Economy / Speculation / Re: ~1% below $300? Is that all you got!? on: January 03, 2015, 04:08:59 PM
Be fearful when others are fearful, and greedy when others are greedy right??.....right?!?!! I think I'll just sell now for a loss and wait till we retest previous support levels and the bear market ends then ill rebuy in a few weeks at a higher price Smiley

If 2014 has taught us anything, it's that one never needs to buy back in at a higher price.  Wait a few days, price guaranteed to drop.
The reason everyone is fearful is because shit's scarry.  A contrarian on the Titanic is not gonna have a good time.

Good afternoon, pig! ...

2184  Economy / Speculation / Re: 300 is broken, to never see again on: January 03, 2015, 03:07:35 PM
Bitcoin will never die. You see, there's a lot libertarians and cryptoanarchists like myself that will NEVER give up on Bitcoin as long as it's functional. And we're a growing number of people. Even if all "normal" people were to be brainwashed enough to stay away from Bitcoin forever. If we're not already, we will be many enough to create our own little economy.

For hawt, ducklipped selfies of Bitcoin economy, see Havelockinvestments.com, Bitcoin's premiere securities exchange.
Every "security" listed is showing loss, many more than 90%.  The ones not showing loss simply ran away with teh intrepid investors' coin and are no longer listed Sad

Without theft and looting from any "government". A little bit like John Galt's society in Atlas Shrugged, only we won't have to physically hide, just use cryptography. As the bitcoin economy matures, us folks inside will have an unfair advantage towards the cattle still stuck in the Matrix. And yea, by that time price with be a LOT higher than 300 USD even without the help of the sheeple.

Lol, you don't need gubermint stealing from you--you got your friends, the other Bitcoiners, doing it through private enterprise & @ a much greater scale.  Nefario, Pirateat40, TradeFortress, Ukyo, Cryptocyprus (NeoBee Danny), MagicalTux (Gox Mark).

2185  Economy / Speculation / Re: 300 is broken, to never see again on: January 03, 2015, 02:52:48 PM
Relax, it'll be fine.

2186  Economy / Speculation / Re: 300 is broken, to never see again on: January 03, 2015, 02:46:16 PM
There is no significance of 300 rather than 400 or any other barrier. There has been support at this level but dropping below doesn't mean a lot in my opinion. After all it's all just speculation with BTC price.

You're right, just a milestone on the slow grind down.  No more meaningful than the upcoming $200 Undecided
2187  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: January 03, 2015, 02:17:29 PM
If it wasn't for them dirty SC pimps, we wouldn't be below $300 right now Angry

Throughout history the peripheral countries have milked the core economy until it was time to transfer the core economy to the former periphery.

The smartest come to the USA (e.g. look at the races employed by Google) to suck all the opportunity, and then they leave and go create startups in Asia! This is actually happening!

If it keeps on rainin', levee's goin' to break [X2]
When the levee breaks I'll have no place to stay
Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan...

Ouch, gentlemen, that must hurt.
*A scholarly observation only.  I'd feel bad for all y'all, but my heart is two sizes too small Smiley

Nice start, gentlemen. 2015 looks like a fun year

2195  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't know about you guys...but all this fear is getting me excited.. on: December 29, 2014, 04:14:37 AM
...Why do you think the price can't break 300 even with all the dumping?!

'Coz that sort'a thing would'a spooked you right out.  Gotta finesse these things, let out some line, let you run a bit, but not so's that you tire yourself out...
Juuust enough to rekindle a sparkof hope and then WHAM!!
2196  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: December 29, 2014, 03:32:30 AM
...It is also probably why private schools have such a lower success rate of people graduating and finding employment (that requires the degree earned) then public schools so

Had you not foregone both private and public schooling in favor of huffing paint, you would know why children of the wealthy elite, those who both can afford & are willing to pay the tuition of private schools, are more likely to succeed than the children of ghetto crackheads Smiley

NotLambchop: This user is currently ignored. Cheesy

Asks question.  Doesn't like answer.  Butthurt & sulking ensue.

Smoothie is an early adopter. Unlike you he didn't sell out early and regret it. I doubt he is holding anything other than a large profit.

Only if he's not a permabull & sold for fiat.  Remember the "you haven't lost if you didn't sell" nonsense spouted 'round these parts?  Well, the converse holds true too:  You haven't profited if you didn't sell.

As far as regrets go, I could buy back just hair less then DOUBLE the coin I sold with the money I made by selling it.

Lol, silly. Can you forsee the future?
http://qz.com/317958/how-you-could-have-turned-1000-into-billions-of-dollars-by-perfectly-trading-the-sp-500-in-2014/

No, but unlike you, I can make an educated guess.
Regardless, I do not need to foresee the future to know the present: I could buy back just hair less than DOUBLE the coin I sold with the money I made by selling it.
Not that I'm fool enough to do it Smiley

@BlindMayorBitcorn: as in "mah sides."
2199  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the USA pay their debts, if ever? on: December 28, 2014, 11:31:49 PM
the short reply would be .... Never...

they will just keep on printing money and Gov bonds, which will only increase such dept.

You know that the debt is denominated in the very same USD that's being printed, right?

yes i do, and your point being...?

The point being that if I owe you USD, and I print USD, I can ask the guy running my printing presses to print up whatever it is I owe you & give it to you.
Debt paid, easy peasy Smiley

no that will only increase more debt long term... coz the money you print has no collateral ... youll get more money in circulation which will result in devaluation of the currency , which will unltimately increase the remaining debt

I do not owe gold or Japanese Yen, I owe the very same worthless paper that I print: teh Glorious USD.
Lrn 2 unit of account.
