May I direct your attention to Psalm 22, gentlemen, this little tidbit in particular: Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are ...
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
Yeah, see? He didn't have it easy either. OTOH as He suffered, He certainly didn't feel like an idiot--He didn't blow all of his family's money because a website posted a rocket pic. Not like U You'll be fine, bulls! Feel better soon! <3

... Bitcoin logic:
Bad news = Sell. Good news = Sell.
Because good news = pump.

Combined with "proof-of-btc" we would get rid of 99.99% of the "working for 1$/hour" trolls.
You don't understand what this forum is for. How are you going to rope in any new marks into this scheme if they have to be already holding the bag Bitcoin to join? Huh? Use your brain FFS!

Nah, you don't. Joe the proverbial plumber could have learned computers & coded the whole thing in assembler by now. We, of course, are stuck using 2009 vintage shareware because Bitcoin.
Hey, cut some slack. You can't just launder that many donated bitcoins overnight, you know.

In Glorious $ we trust. Everything else is play-money

... This would be totally abused by trolls that would mark people as troll with tons of sockpuppet accounts.
If only sock accounts were against the forum policy... Nah, that would be too much like IRL for Bitcoin.

CHEAP COINS FOR EVERYBODY.
PS: Did ShroomsKit die? Haven't seen him yet complaing about those fucking traders.
Bitcoin's yesterday's news, place is emptying out. If you're the last one out, don't forget to get the lights, thx.

This forum needs a button called "Mark as Troll", if enough people mark somebody as a Troll, all their messages can go straight to the "moon" folder where nobody has to read them.
The ignore button (a couple of years ago) used to glow from light yellow to darker orange depending on the amount of ignores, so if you saw someone with a glowing Ignore button you knew he was ignored by so many users(doesnt mean he is a troll though), you know someone like you would have a red glowing button.... but thanks to Theymos and his free speech hardcore support (which I do support as well) this doesn't work anymore. Indeed. How about someone suggests this for the new forum. Should be easy to implement. ... Theymos & gang have been working on the new software for years now. This forum [purportedly] has many million$$$ in the till, but computers are hard tho. Maybe in a few years If one of their IT guys is @YourMother, I can see why it's taking so long... Nah, you don't. Joe the proverbial plumber could have learned computers & coded the whole thing in assembler by now. We, of course, are stuck using 2009 vintage shareware because Bitcoin.

... It was just correction and it didn't even fall back to 245 but it stopped at 265.
What the fuck makes you think it's over? Nothing's over.

"Usual stuff"
Hey, Lamby, you intrigue me. I know it's a lot to ask, but would you mind taking a break from your usual menial tasks to tell me a bit about yourself? You know, help me see behind the curtain, the real "you". Your story. How you discovered BTC. What intrigued you enough to trade it. Childhood memories. Etc. Thanks in advance! That's just creepy, bro...

What are the trolls going to do with their lives if we ever get to 5-10k per coin?
Dont worry, there will be a new stream of them of that you can be certain. I worry about what they'll do for fun. You'll be posting up a storm about disruptive technologies on beaniebabytalk.org, I'll be right there laughing at you. Mark my words. If not BTCeanies, something just as absurd.

Because whether you like it or not, the Silk Road and the other black market were the only real use case that bitcoin ever had AS A CURRENCY.
The other proposed use cases are just excuses to pump and smokescreen because bitcoin doesn't really offer real advantages over fiat money.
I don't agree. In the near future: 1. Consumers will be offered more merchant incentives (e.g., product discounts, bulk rates, etc.) to use bitcoin over fiat/credit cards Unless you think that Bitcoin payment processors can work for free, there will be no discount [long term]. 2. Daily transactions will be easier and faster with bitcoin on mobile devices (through services like CB/BitPay that will offer near zero latency)
I never experience latency using CC, do you? 3. Merchants will benefit more as services like Coinbase/BitPay shield them from volatility, chargebacks, and fees.
By staying away from Bitcoin, merchants don't even think about Bitcoin volatility. No need to solve problems Bitcoin itself creates. 4. Transaction fees will eventually fall to near zero over time.
Transaction fees could only grow over time. At this point, miners don't rely on tx fees because they're allowed to "print money" [bitcoin block reward], at a rate of ~12% a year. Fees will need to compensate for decreasing block rewards.

Shorts being wiped out in the last pump? Part of the pump was shorts being closed not BTC being bought. Shorts can have a nice reset. Market doesn't have much shorts to squeeze anymore. Incredibly bearish Shorting at the bottom of a new bull trend is not a clever thing to do >new bull trend
