2181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 28, 2022, 11:53:37 PM
In which coin should I invest money other than bitcoin? Because bitcoin has been the most profitable And what will be the future of the other coin, will it increase or not, then you guys can tell. Thanks in advance
Stick on what you can see on top ranking on coinmarketcap, somehow it doesnt mean that its an assurance that they would really be lasting forever or does assure that it would really rise up its price in the future
but considering that they've been placed on the top then we can say that these are good coin but to think that there are people who are really that fan of investing money into those low cap coins
which they do really believe that it is a hidden gem. They are finding coins which could give 100-1000x profits which is really something hard to be done.
Invest on what you do like and always depend on your own decisions and not from other people.
2182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 28, 2022, 10:52:10 PM
Where I live it wouldn't be a big deal if a, let's say, a student saw me in a casino. Professional groups like teachers, doctors, or lawyers don't make a big deal out of it since it's legal. If they saw me in a brothel it would be pretty much the same. Maybe if they saw me in a brothel and I had a wife it would become an popular rumor, but they wouldn't fire me because of it.

In modern societies gambling is seen more like smoking. Many people don't smoke and don't like smokers but you don't fire people because they're heavy smokers.
Depends on a certain person because there are individuals which are really that too sensitive when it comes on other peoples views or they dont really like that they would be looking bad
in front of many people or even if its his/her students, which basically means that this is situation.Even myself wont really be that too confident on letting others see on what im doing
but there are times which i dont really care as long it do makes me happy then this do what matter the most.
Dont mind other peoples words and views and just do on what things you do want to do, its your money not theirs.
2183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome a Bear Market in Cryptocurrency on: September 28, 2022, 09:50:19 PM
Quote
Overcoming a bear market is very difficult indeed. Not everyone can overcome a bear market easily. However, different strategies must be adopted to overcome the bear market.Investing in bear markets is entirely risky. In this bad situation you should never invest in shit coins without good coins. But then you may face huge losses in this bear market that may never recover.

Yes, bear market is a period talented traders use to buy coins and hold until the price increase higher in the future before they can sell to make a passive income from their investments. I think, many traders will definitely get it right this season to invest on potential coins in this bear market that will bring more income when the price of coins increase higher in the market. Since the green light is preparing to remain stable before the end of this month of September, it will be favourable to any traders to buy more coins and hold to exercise patience till the bull market will appear before they can supply to make something good from the market.

This is actually the season for preparation. The bearish season will not take forever and the recovery period will still approach. There are just lots of global occurrences that affect the crypto market so it remains down. However, wise investors are taking advantage of the bear. Buying at the cheapest price will be good preparation for a profitable future. The bear market is still considered as an opportunity.
Whenever you do lack experience then you would really be simply having these common reactions and feelings on the market where you would really be that worrying on whats happening
currently on the market. It cant be avoided yet we are just humans which we do have emotions.Overcoming this bear market is that you should really be that mindful on taking up utilization
of these low or declining prices which you could really buy up because soon the price will really make out some recovery which it would really be that common sense that you would really be
buying cheap and sell it on high price.
2184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good crypto casino comparison site on: September 28, 2022, 08:50:48 PM
I hope @OP doesn't stop his review because there are many gambling sites nowadays...
Exactly, i opened then link with very high expectations of seeing a very exhaustive list considering that the topic suggested that it was a comparison, but i was disappointed with it. It would have been nice to get more names on there and give people more options other than just five casinos worldwide, seems to be a lazy man's work just looking to get traffic to their website with catchy topics.
Promoting a kind of casino comparison site that way will only leave a bad impression. It doesn't need to have a complete list of casino sites but at least add more so it would be more reliable. Op lacks more details about his promotion so I hope that he could add more or even improve its graphics or add a little animation to make it more attractive. I hope the suggestions here would help you to improve on what you're promoting because first impressions last.
Its just totally plan and simple plus having those sites been listed including bitstarz which does have lots of issues
then i dont see already for this to be an accurate or a good site to look upon.
For some reference;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5184263.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231796.0

How could a site do miss out these things?
2185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Preamble to Candlesticks chart and their significance. on: September 28, 2022, 08:14:55 PM
Beginners will read such explanations, then they will open the charts and start catching such candles. Then they will make a trade based on similar descriptions, but the trade will be negative. This is how disappointment and surprise come from the fact that everything seemed to be done right, but for some reason the market went the other way.

The answer is extremely simple. It is worth considering the context in which we observe one of the candles listed here. This is of great importance. Candles by themselves are of no value in decision making unless we know exactly where to look for them. For example, ENGULFING CANDLESTICK works only when testing some levels or trends, if we see such candles somewhere in the middle of the figure, then these candles are of no interest. And so on, each pattern only matters under certain conditions.
This is totally precise and this is what i had experienced when i was still a noob and able to tell to myself that it was never been effective but i didnt stop on applying technical indicators which
it does sometimes been precise but most of  the time the entire market could easily fucked up technical analysis but just like we do know that this market cant really be having news or fundamentals
most of the time, which does means that you would be having no option but to stick out on using these indicators so that you wont really be that guessing
which is something that not recommended on doing so.
2186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 27, 2022, 11:51:21 PM
You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.
Actually in some societies, people who is dwelling in some certain environment do not accept, embrace or regards someone who lives life with gambling as responsible human being. If student notice that their teachers neither their lecturer is a gambler, liking the teacher will depend on the relationship establish with the teacher. I could remember when i were in university, one of the intelligent lecturer we have is alcohol addict and without taking enough alcohol it will not teach, and it so it take us in physics but majorities of the students Loved him because of it's demonstration in teaching and under influence of alcohol
Impression would turn out to be negative since you would presume that if someone is under the influence of alcohol which they cant really do things well but it seems it is the other way around based on what you do example, which this do simply shows that whatever things you've been dealing as long you dont forget on what you are doing and be responsible then it should be fine.
Just like on what other people been saying that reputation doesnt really been affected as long you dont forget on what are the things you do need to do.
Dont mess up or forget into those so that people wouldnt really tell to themselves that they were right.
2187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is permissable in Islam. on: September 27, 2022, 09:49:56 PM
Many opinions have been expressed on whether bitcoin is halal or haram to Muslims. Following the Islamic jurisprudence, it is permissible for Muslims to use bitcoin as long as it is used legally and not for any other harmful purpose. According to Islam, bitcoin is viewed as a currency that can be traded and utilized for transactions.

Another question is why people save their coins in order to double them later for sale. When people see this, they assume it is illegal. Again, this can be observed from another viewpoint. Assume you purchased a plot of land for $100; after 10 years, the plot of land cannot be sold for the same price because the value must have increased by then, and it will be sold at its current worth. When the price of bitcoin doubles, it is permissible to sell and utilize it at the existing price.
There should really be reconsideration and not would really be making out absolute decision for it to be avoided specially on Religion like islam.I was aware it was halal
but i did make out some recent research that Bitcoin or crypto trading turns out to be haram.
https://aims.education/is-bitcoin-halal-or-bitcoin-haram/

So there are different perspective on here basing up on certain conditions but well its their religion and lets respect on that.
2188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 27, 2022, 09:31:59 PM
There are a lot of sites here for a quite long time and survive for years. Sportsbet, stake, bitcasino, and many more are here for a long time now. Primedice is in the online casino business since 2013 and they are still functioning. You have to find out this casino in the Gambling section. Also, you should move the thread in the gambling discussion if you want to get more valuable answers as the place has a lot of old gamblers. Check the lower side of this topic to0 move it.

That is true- do you know what the common denominator of these gambling websites have? All of them have a designated and active customer support service that caters to the needs of the problems of gamblers online.

In order to attract and maintain a loyal player base, your online gambling website should have at least an active customer support service that relatively replies quickly to the problems along the way. By establishing a trust among your users, they will remain loyal to your website thus attracting more users in the process.

I think the OP is pertaining to those casino that start using an IDO to gather funds by selling the casino utility. Sportsbet, Stake and other casino that mentioned is privately funded with company so they have sufficient resources needed to fund the casino operation expenses for a long time, unlike startup casino that only has limited funds and usually closed when their funds run out since they don’t have capital from there own pocket to run the casino.

Newly built casino sites are having a hard time competing with long-time reputable casino sites because old casinos have a firmer foundation and established capital to keep their site running. New casinos are having a hard time sustaining their sites especially if they're not able to attract and keep more players. It will be too challenging for them because old reputable casino sites have been through a lot and they know how to deal with the status of the crypto market. New casinos need to look for firm support that will also finance their utilities

Strong support such as several early investors who supported the establishment of the casino website as well as doing some advertising on forums such as the Bitcointalk campaign and in several casino communities. New casino sites do require quite a lot of initial capital so that they can be recognized by many players and become their favorite casino. Hiring a few casino influencers will also help to promote the casino site. and what is no less important for new casinos is that the User Interface must be really attractive and updated, following current user interface developments as well as more varied game support and customer support to help players when they get some problems.
Continous development + Active marketing + Decent bonuses and perks

This is what makes the business to sustain for long. There might be something new but these old ones wont really be stopping on competing and trying out to adapt on whats new or whats the trend.
Specially now we are seeing that casino platforms are integrating sports betting as of this moment which it did really make out some good impressions into those gamblers around.
And this is what makes people stay and support out on the site that they are playing with. The older the most reputable and trustable it is.
They wont really last long into this market if they dont really have those qualities.
2189  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: September 27, 2022, 08:55:24 PM
Getting a lengthy experience in trading depends solely on your foundation. One can not jump into trading without first setting out the goals to achieved. For me, I looked up to some experience mentors in the space like Chris Ani and Dennis Brian who tutor me on the basis of trading with the aid of their crypto PDFs. They taught me not to trade with emotions rather with the formation of the market and I also learnt to withdraw my profits after trades.
Everything could really be found online but its the best that those sources or things need would be acquired for free.It doesnt really need for you to spend up tons for any write-ups or something like that
which you could actually able to learn for yourself on having to read up those free things and stuffs which you could see online. There's lots of tutorials and analysis which you could even seen on Youtube or
social media where some traders been posting up their analysis and this is the time you would really be having consideration whether you would really be applying and learning it for yourself.
It is really depending on how someone would really be taking out action and making application and made out right decision basing up on what you had gained and encountered.
2190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 27, 2022, 08:31:34 PM
I believe everybody has their worst day in gambling especially if you started gambling early maybe in your teenage age. My worst day was when I used my school fees to gamble because I thought I will make more money to take care of some of my needs in school. At the beginning I was making profit for 2hrs,I was carried away with the anxiety of winning but later the game turned round and I was losing and losing,I didn't quit hoping I will recover my lost. Before I knew it I was left with 10% of the money I started with, I couldn't just quit the game then because I still feel I will start winning again but luck failed me and I got drained of all I have on me.

Two weeks later it was announced in school that we only had one more week left for closure of school fees payment, I tried borrowing, seek for help everywhere but nobody could help me with the money.  This was how I couldn't pay my fee for that semester and went home with carry overs after the end of the semester as I was not allowed to write some exams.

How about you do you had a worst day on gambling  that you will never forget ?Did it affect an aspect of your life and how ?

I don't honestly have a worst day in gambling, just a few rather mediocre level losses that probably burned me for a while and actually did well to discourage me from gambling away any higher amounts. When I hit the $50-100 losses in a day, that is enough for me to bail out and probably choose a different activity for a long while. It's happened in a couple poker sessions over the years, it's happened when switching from football betting into horse betting and not understanding that the chances of winning are calculated completely differently. Guess I've been fairly fortunate but also never had a desire to gamble at any higher levels because the risk is not worth the reward to me.
Same here, you wont really be ending up having the worst if the money you had burned or loss overall is something that you had prepared for it to loss on that particular session which is something that really needs to have in someones mind whenever they do play gambling in the first place on which if you do have accepted your fate and dont expect something in terms of profits then you wouldnt really make yourself to be that
impulsive and instead you would really completely stop once you do deplete out all of your balance.Worst day would really be happening if you are really thriving or doing your best to make profits as much as you could.
Well, in gambling then it would really be that a very common behavior since we do really love to make profits but we know that gambling is something high risky thing to be dealing off with.
2191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: September 26, 2022, 11:16:39 PM
Bitcoin and banks will always be connected, every time we exchange bitcoin to currency, of course we need a bank to receive the money we get. So those who feel like being a bitcoin fanatic or vice versa, I think it's just a waste of time.
People do still end up on touching up traditional banks or other those centralized or common services which could really make those conversions do possible because in the end of the day,
where people would be always finding up the way on how to make their bitcoins into fiat which basically means that you would really be still touching up those services or institutions basing
up on what you do need. Why people do always put emphasis on making both bitcoin and banks to be complete enemy? Why cant just have that mutual benefit and switching up
on whatever a certain individual do needs?
2192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 26, 2022, 10:39:37 PM
You're a professional like a lawyer or a teacher in a respected university, will it harm your reputation if people around you or your students discover that you are into gambling, you're not really a compulsive gambler but gamble for entertainment, how will you explain this to people around you or will you explain to protect your reputation or just ignore them.
I'll simply ignore them because its none of their business on what are the things you do as long you are still responsible in regarding with your priorities and finances and you arent messing up something
then you are just doing fine.Dont mind other peoples mind or impression to be bad just because you do gambling.Ex. if you are a teacher, which it would really be that known or could be seen out by your
students but still you are doing great as an instructor and doesnt really been affected on the job you are doing then they would just simply ignore on what you are up into.
Its none others business on whatever things you are really indeed been dealing off with.
2193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is happening with Crypto market on: September 26, 2022, 09:59:33 PM
You will do well OP if you can get the link to the article site so that those who want to peruse and exhaust it further can do justice to that by reading it up there.

OP talked about how ETH price has disappointedly remained relatively on the same spot even after the Merge. I think that is even a good thing that there's no volatility to it to warrant spikes. It should be an organic growth as that will ensure stability in price on the long run. The merge is supposed to enhance utility and not a get rich quick thing.
That is what you think and it is not what is happening now.
Some persons think the merge is going to make Ethereum to go more bullish even to $2k but the opposite is what we saw. We are now very down in price which is total contrary to many investors think will eventually happens. We are forgotten that Bitcoin controls the market and if it does not move, then no altcoins will move.
We know that decisions and views could really be halved either way which some do believe about that huge pump and some believe about those dumps which is totally happening as of this moment. No one had already
that expected or anticipated that things turns out to be a mess after such merge, specially on the time that the community knows that the current update or merge didnt resolve any of the ff;
Change in fees
Change in transaction times
which we know that these are major things where ETH supporters or investors been hoping for.We arent that blind that its been long time since erc20 transactions
are way too expensive but still ended up on getting unresolved.
2194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: September 26, 2022, 09:46:26 PM
I am starting to have this crazy interest in crypto gambling projects like online casinos and stuff but I want to ask, this utility have been around for years but is there any old project that live this long and still functions?

Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.
There are lots as far as i know. These are the ff:

Freebitco.in
Primedice
Bitkong
Crypto.games

I know i had missed something but much sure that there are already some numbers in speaking with those
long time running casinos that we do have on this crypto space.Question on how they do sustain?
They do just give their best on offering the best as they can in the community.
2195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in micro cap altcoins? on: September 25, 2022, 10:29:40 PM
Hi all

I have Bitcoin and Ethererum and a few other top 20 cryptos but looking at adding a few micro cap altcoins in the hope one or two 100x or more over the next few years.

Be interesting to hear who is for and against micro cap altcoins?

If you own any what is your plan with them and if not why do you not believe in them?
We could really find some hidden gems in the market and this is where other people been trying to seek or find those coins which does have potential on folding up their value for hundreds or thousand multipliers
on a particular time and it cant really be avoided on not to get interested with these kind of coins in the market which you could potentially able to make huge ones if you do hit the right ones.
Although the risk is more higher which is common sense because we cant just really make out decisions without having those considerations or thinking about the certain risk involved.
Investing on low caps would be entirely depending on your own choice.
2196  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is your casino profile looks like? on: September 25, 2022, 09:59:34 PM
Favorite Casino: Stake
Wagered amount: $3000
Profit: $255
Most played games: Dice,Plink,Mines,Limbo
Biggest win : $125
Biggest loss in one game: $50
Average bet size: $2-5 max

It do varies because capital might really be different depending on the day which i do tend
to make up some gambling activity.
2197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Signal to Start Trading and the Signal to Close Trading on: September 25, 2022, 08:57:54 PM
Trading is not so difficult as it was told. But the difficult part in trading is when to enter the market and when to Close the market. So when do you think one can buy or sell (enter) the market? Using the candle sticks to predict.

What ? Isn't that the most important thing in trading itself ?
Knowing when to enter and when to exit is 90% of the trading while the rest 10% may include putting the buy order and sell order LOL
Building a strategy and executing it is included in the 90% and the one who can do this knows how to trade efficiently.
To those traders who do really make able to sustain themselves on the market or simply those profitable then are the ones who could really make use and do knows on when to get in and when to exit.
We know that this market is truly unpredictable but it doesnt mean that it would really be that impossible yet there are ones who could able to sustain themselves despite of those reality.
You would be the one who would find for yourself on what strategy and what ways you should consider before you could really make out such action. You cant just copy someone
because we do have our own preference and views in different scenarios or conditions.
2198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch gambling problem and Sliker issue on: September 24, 2022, 09:27:07 PM

Update: Twitch has placed a ban on off shore casinos.
https://i.imgur.com/jTqZTAq.png

Still they are allowing the sport betting even poker if I am not wrong and that is what mostly gambled and steamed ones then what is the actual reason of the ban?

So its just fornthe sake of showing the platform is being responsible but without actually not really disturbing anything?!... Huh

Oh well, maybe they just want to show everyone that they are really doing something as far as streaming gambling in their platform. Nevertheless, they know that they are going to lose big revenues if they allowed it to happen. So probably there could be loopholes that can be exploited based on their bans and so in months maybe they will be back to normal when everyone forgets about the issue. Again, it's all about the business, because it they continue with the blanket ban, streamers will break away and look for other platforms to continue.
If ever they would really make out some exemptions when they have totally announce for that ban then people would turn out or having those impressions that they cant really be trusted basing up on the behavior that they have done.I wont really be that surprised if this ban would be ineffective for some time or they would revert it back. For now the issue is still hot which it would really be that normal that they would really
be needing on at least showing off some action in regarding to this incident because if they wont then it would really be affecting heavily their company which would really be a bad thing to create some bad
image which would really something that they dont really like or want to happen. So actions are just typical ones for a company to do so.
2199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much money do you leave in crypto casino? on: September 24, 2022, 07:47:00 PM
The few times I have gambled on Crypto casinos I have had no problem on leaving my satoshis deposited until the next session, however, since during those occasions I was only gambling a few dollars I got from faucets then there was not much risk in terms of a possible financial blow against me.

If I had deeper pockets, I would definitely trust a casino of excellent reputation some hundreds of dollars, instead withdrawing immediately after the end of a session and knowing in advance I would be back to play very soon.

Whenever i do win big then i do consider on withdrawing it all and would just simply deposit back whenever i do decided to play once again but just like the rest of people been saying here that most of the time

...

Overall it wont really be that wise on leaving money on any platform if you arent using it because we wont know if a certain platform would really be hacked or ran away the funds.
So its never been recommendable on doing so, its just common sense.

If I won big I would try to withdraw it all as well. It is funny now I think about it, whenever I see someone around here having some trouble with a casino it is often because that person had some big wins and decided to withdraw their earnings, but the casino asked for extra KYC, etc. It seems that taking out the money to ones personal wallet is matter of common sense after getting a jackpot.

Also, you are right, in terms of security the best is not to leave funds in any hot wallet/platform/casino if it is not necessary, but I assume some players reach a point where it becomes annoying to withdraw and then deposit every occasion they feel like gambling, specially those who do it in daily basis, so they end up leaving their money under the care of the casino in order to save both time and a little bit of fee money (In case of Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc).
If you are really that active when it comes to gambling activity then it cant really be avoided not to think about saving up the hassle and saving up the fees which you would really be definitely be tending up
to leave those funds for you not to make repetitive actions, which it would be saving up time and saving up fees just like on what you said.Even myself is really guilty about on this action which i do really
consider out on leaving some funds if i do have plans on playing back, this is why there are indeed times which you would really be leaving up your funds on a platform which the thing
you do have in mind that the site you are playing with cant really be hacked tomorrow, so you wont really be that mattering much in regarding that particular situation.

I can't mine ETH or any other coins right now but I do find a way that might look good but bad to many, I can mine a meme coin called Baby Doge, I can get 609,000,000 of this token per day but that's because the max supply of the project is enormous, what do you think about Baby Doge, some time back there are a lot of noise about this project, any believer here?
As long it could give out make some profits then it wouldnt be bad to have those kind of considerations on mining them. Its your miner then it would be totally depending on your decision whether you would proceed out
or not.IF you do find it beneficial or profitable then why not? We are all here for profit which is a casual thing to have which it would be understandable that we would really be seeking on something which could
give out those kind of chances.Meme coins or mining them arent really that requiring too big hashpower. Its up to you if you could bare up with the risk with those
resources on just mining babydoge.
