1601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So many good news but Market and coins don't go up on: November 17, 2022, 08:44:34 PM
Why coins not going up ?
If good news coming then price should follow instantly.
When there is good news i go Long position been waiting all day long and nothing.

Also the traders who post their ideas non of the signals don't move whats going on ?
It's imposdible to make any money in this Market
Somebody need to put money in it's fruturating like this.

This is where you should really make yourself that aware that any news or fundamentals around doesnt always mean that it would be creating significant effect on the market and this is what makes it
unpredictable on the first place. This is what makes it hard to make some analysis because it could be anytime fucked up since market could move on random way.Come to think that it could move out
randomly without any news or events around which it do really raise up questions on your mind on how the heck or whats happening. We arent seeing something around
but still the price do really move out. You should really make yourself get used to it because no one on this world could able to predict on what would happen in speaking
of price movement.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 16, 2022, 11:31:09 PM
If you play until you run out of money, this is a bad habit, it's an obvious sign that tells you that you are doing something wrong. In this case, it is worth clarifying what amount we are talking about. If you give yourself $10 for entertainment and don't care if you win or lose, that's one thing. But if we are talking about several hundred dollars, then this is already a problem worth thinking about.

I think the first experience of all gamblers is gambling just for fun, now the problem is not all gamblers stick to the principle of gambling for fun. As an example, myself and OP have the desire to win more. The question is, are you also a gambler? if indeed you are a gambling addict, I think you understand what the OP is talking about here.
Gambling is indeed for fun but even to those who are fully aware into their minds on how they should really be dealing with it but still they do fail on doing so because of emotions and sudden changes up of mindset.
When you do gamble then you are really that susceptible into this kind of situation where you would really be changing up those emotions and moods on the time you've been playing which even if you do have
that kind of thinking when you arent still playing but those things would really be changing up when you are on midway and i could really say this basing up on experience.
If you are longing for more profits then you would really be thinking about finishing up the game and still prefer on getting that full winning amount.
1603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Write a song with your seed phrase on: November 16, 2022, 10:41:57 PM

Humans have trouble remembering nonsense like 12 random words, but if you write some lyrics and add the melody to your favorite song, it’s a lot easier. I have no idea what Kurt Cobain is talking about above, but if the melody is good, we can remember any combination of words.
Not a bad idea but i would rather be sticking into traditional ways considering that storing or saving up your keys via song is never been that ideal. You could eventually forget these things on long runs.
I would rather be saving it on a steel plate and would be hiding it as much as possible away from others attention which could really be a devastating thing if someone do find out your keys.
Well, if someone do find this seed phrase song integration is  something that convincing on someones approach then its up to them but not for me.
There are things which is more sensible rather than on doing this.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 16, 2022, 09:43:08 PM
It's good to see Pacquiao back in the ring even though it's a promotion fight. It's obvious who will win in this match. I've seen a few videos of DK Yoo on youtube and had no idea he is a martial artist. As long as the fight's proceeds go somewhere else and it will benefit those who are in need it will be worth promoting. I am really not a fan of exhibition match since most boxer who does this do it for the money, take Mayweather and Logan Paul for instance. If you retire from boxing keep it as it is, stop for good and stop going back just to make some money. Not to mention most of it are scripted.

There could be hard fans like you who doesn't want exhibition matches, but what can you do? this boxers will need to earn money again, and in this case, easy money as this is the only way they know how to make ends meet.

So Mayweather and Paul Brothers started this whole even, but as you know, Floyd is very smart, taking fight after fight and in just matter of minutes earning millions without having to sweat it out, like Jake Paul recently against Anderson Silva.

I don't really see any reason why the fans would be against such fights. It's not a continuation of a career, it's just another activity. With their fame, they could go on a cooking show and make a lot of money too, but the best ex-pros can do is in the ring, so it's not surprising that they end up there again.
It is necessary to separate a professional career and everything else. Boxers, even if they ended their career at the age of 40, cannot go to a monastery for the sake of remembering themselves as just a pro and not doing anything else.

That's why they are fanatics, because that how they wanted their famous boxers to be, retired for good.

But times has change, although there are exhibition fights before, it was not that prominent as today, it was Floyd who really started this trend.

And I agree that even if this is scripted, but as we can see, fans are willing to pay huge amount just to see their favorite boxers in the ring. I'm not sure though you comparison about the monastery,  Grin. They are still human and need to do and still make some money for their family.
Some do say that they arent needing money specially for Pacquiao and we are seeing that all of the winnings would be given on a charity which is commendable but i dont know on DK yoo but most probably he would
really be pursing it out but of course its just part of the business which is to make money for living. For those who dont need then it would be mainly applied on charitable works but for those who are earning
for living then pretty sure they would really be doing all sorts of things just for them to earn, even on making yourself do fight a boxing legend.  Grin
1605  Other / Off-topic / Re: Lay off vs Pay cut on: November 16, 2022, 09:06:33 PM
Let's suppose your boss called you into his/her office and explained the company's situation. He/she then gives you the option of getting laid off or taking a 50% pay cut. If you were to choose one of these options, what would it be and why?

For sure as an employee then you would definitely be going for 50% cut of your salary but there are people whom do really find out on other jobs which do offers more.
It is really depending or basing on someones needs because not all would really be that accepting such pay for the job that they are doing but for those who are really
that desperate on doesnt really like to find a job on another or doesnt really like to waste up opportunity then they would really be dealing up with the current pay
but honestly speaking if things get cut huge one of 50% then it would be a total disaster.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bought 8000 lottery tickets on: November 15, 2022, 10:50:09 PM
He was either full of shit with all these threads or a compulsive gambler who wanted us to participate in his sorry life.

To answer the question, not that OP cares anymore, chances of winning large amount of money are like 1 in 10 million, so that 8k number of tickets might feel like a lot but the chances of winning don't go up by much if you buy a thousand tickets. if your chances are 0,0000001%, buying a 1000 tickets just makes it 0,0001% which is very low.
We can make out calculations in speaking with odds and its better not to know about odds or chances because it would really be just close to impossible which it would really be that normal
that you wont really be that expecting to win so that you wont get frustrated. Its true that having lots of tickets does increase the chance but picturing it as a whole then it wont
really be that significant and also you should really be aware or thinking off about even single ticket could really have the chance which does simply means that
everything would really be depending on luck. There's no way you could able to point off about probabilities.
1607  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ftx Will trigger something more people now dont trust nothing on: November 15, 2022, 09:26:15 PM
The FTX scandal scared retail investors or anyone with smaller pockets that want to get into crypto.
But crypto is not going anywhere just because a centralized exchange failed.
Just like the other moments, we will also go through this one.
Adaption of decentralization is inevitable. Crypto is the future, Just need to get rid of bad actors.

If you have some time to search a decentralized exchange please do so because relying too much your crypto on a CEX is not a good thing especially if you plan to use it for too long. I can't say there's a perfect exchange since the risk will always be present no matter what. The only important is you know how to deal with these exchanges if ever you have to use another exchange in the future, always use the reputable one but also be responsible and wise at the same time.
I think decentralized or centralized storing funds on an exchange is not advisable, and if you have a cold wallet better store your assets on it rather than risk them in the hands of a third party like an exchange. The issue with trust in the cryptocurrency industry is all about the exchange and since there have been one or many hack incidences resulting from the exchange it's better to keep off from them for a while and only use them when you want to exchange a coin to another and not storing your funds on them.
The thing here on why people do keep on using exchange as their wallets is that they are really that avoiding the fees and the hassle on transferring their funds from exchange wallet into their own non custodial wallet
and if we do really tend to make some computation in regards about fee expense then it isnt really that much if we do talk about the risk involved.People are indeed just forgetting about it just like other
members been saying which they are really that confident on storing up their coins and when incidents or situations happen something like this then this is where they do make themselves aware.
Trust is important but being too trustful on something which you do believe that they wont mess up is surely a wrong thing.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 9600$ in dice by mistake with 2% chance on: November 15, 2022, 07:44:56 PM
Congratulations to you for how your mistake finally turned out to favour you. I was in a betting shop in my area during the weekend to meet with a friend, This was same kind of your story that played out there, A Man was quarrelling with one of the sports booking agent there because the girl went and placed the man's games differently from what he wanted to play,  instead of placing 3 direct wins rather she booked 3 draws, but in the end the games actually favoured the Man. Sometime some mistake turns out to be good and this is a typical example.

Lucky mistake eh? This could really happen but not really that often. If we do see on that 2% winning chance then it isnt something that you could see on everyday. It did really just turn out that it
it did able to hit and this is what really makes you get shocked and at the same time you would really be happy on the result. If this turns out to be that a losing bet then pretty sure
you would really be banging up your head into the wall or even punching your monitor or throwing up your mobile phone because you are really that angry and frustrated.
I had experience about max bet button had been accidentally pressed out on a dice game and lost it all, the feeling is something that we cant really explain.  Cheesy
1609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is spamming mempool on: November 15, 2022, 06:37:38 PM
It's either prevention for mass withdrawals, or the community became more paranoid after the second biggest exchange has scammed the community. For me, it's probably just coincidence. But if it's as a prevention for another exchange "bank run", then I believe the result would be a positive, not only for the exchanges, but for the community as well, no? We don't want another crash.
Paranoid indeed even with those veteran or old timer here on crypto space cant really be able to ignore about being paranoid because we've seen already seen the worst thing that happened which it did really
result into crash. Its totally that the truth that funds is never been safe to be stored on exchanges and now that we've seen these exchange drama then it cant really be avoided not
for you to take action and i dont know about that spamming mempool which it cant really be that possible for a single entity would able to flood out the network
just to stop the massive withdrawal. It is really just too obvious that the community will really be having this impression.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Quitting only a break on: November 14, 2022, 11:52:01 PM
Taking a break until they finally quit.

If that's what they intend to do, they just have to do it gradually because having an instant stop will make them harder to do. It takes time until they take it seriously to quit.

Because at most times, when they quit, it's only within their mouths and they can't really quit just as much as they want to do.

Taking a break from gambling is not something you should have to quit gambling.

I often take a break from gambling because I don't feel like playing. Rather, I enjoy watching others play during breaks.

Gambling breaks are not uncommon. People gamble for peace of mind, but sometimes they have to take a break because of the extra time spent. After a short break, they return after some time has passed.

However, if you are at risk of becoming addicted to gambling, you should stop playing before you become addicted to avoid the risk. If necessary, go to a rehab center.
Those that can't do it on an instant.

They can take a break until they like their break and they will be able to quit gambling wholly. That's the way for the others to make them quit gambling if they can't do it for now.

It's like practicing yourself going away from gambling and then you do some other things as you take a break. And when it takes a lot of time, you'll be able to realize how long it has been since you have stopped.
When you do tend to have a break then you should mean it,try to make yourself able to avoid all of the things which is correlated with gambling because if you dont
then you would be eventually be playing again even if you do say into yourself that you would be having a break or pause after your huge loss in gambling or simply
did make out decisions just because you had been aware that it is really causing too much damage when it comes to finances.
If you do take a brake then you should mean it and dont just simply ignore it away on the time you do see things which is connected to it.
1611  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing against 2024 on: November 14, 2022, 10:59:36 PM
I think it's wise to invest smartly against 2024, there is high tendency of hitting it big in crypto from next year to 2024. I advise you put reasonable capital on bitcoin and few funds in altcoin. Don't sleep on this one. It's a banga!! Let's make this money together.

Almost everyone love to fill there bags towards the next bull run but the issue is most people are scare of buying now because they are scared of losing their money. They keep waiting to buy the last deep which is very hard to know.
Emotion would really be your primary enemy on these kind of times which it isnt really that surprising that people would really be having that kind of hesitance even they do know
into their minds that this is the best time on buying but also they are minding that this is also a time which the price could possibly dip even more and that would really be giving out that hindrance.
When you do decide to make out some investment then you should make yourself that prepared on whatever circumstances that might faced up ahead.
This is a never ending question on our minds because this market is unpredictable then it is normal on having these impressions.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 14, 2022, 09:30:42 PM
Pacquiao is a specialist, the other is a generalist, and the bout is a boxing match which gives Pacquiao a huge edge. I can clearly see that Pacquiao will try to hold back and give the viewers their money's worth, but for sure they all just want to see if Pacquiao's still got it inside the ring. There are rumors that if DK Yoo is defeated, Pacquiao would seek another exhibition match. Seems like the old man is just itching to get it going and prove to the world that his title is something that is worthy of him.
not that interesting to watch unless they fight seriously and have personal grudges to settle in that fight.

Not gonna happen lol. Because if they do, that Korean guy wouldn't last 6 rounds. Non-pro boxers tends to gas out beyond 6 rounds. If I'm not mistaken, the guy DK Yoo is not a boxer, though he practiced martial arts, but boxing is very different than any other forms of combat sports. Once you gas out, your punching power will not be very effective than the beginning of the match and your legs become weaker.

Pacquiao on the other end was trained to do this. When he was at his prime, everytime the rounds goes up, his punching power became even more lethal to an exhausted opponent.
Though Pac is way out of his prime now, but he could still destroy someone. Now, I cant really imagine what would be the outcome if this 2 have personal grudges and would go all out in their match.
For DK yoo then i dont really believe that he could last for 6 rounds and as you said that this dude isnt a boxer which means that his body or simply his lungs couldnt really be able to bare up further rounds.
For Manny pacquiao then this would really be simple as cake, even he's retired but his body and all of the years of training on which his body have would definitely be that easy to handle these
against a man who doesnt have that boxing reputation or experience but since this is an exhibition then they would really be trying out their best on making this fight long and entertaining
but of boxing fans then this one turns out to be boring honestly.
1613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: November 14, 2022, 09:09:42 PM
Trading is good but only for big traders who must have big capital with diverse portfolio in which many coins will be adjusted. This formula can give good profit or income on regular basis. Apart from this trading profit you can make big investment to some biggest project in industry. For a good trading profit you must work hard.
Whether you do have small or big capital the most important thing you should consider is on how to sustain yourself with this unpredictable market.Even if you do have small capital
but still you could able to bare up with this unpredictable surrounding or market then sooner or later those small capital of yours would be compounded and would really becomes even
bigger and that what you should really be focusing into. I dont know about that passive mindset because if we do talk about literally then it is pertaining on not doing something
which we do know that it isnt really that a good idea or behavior to have as a trader but if this means on other essence then i do miss out the point.  Cheesy
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 12, 2022, 08:24:20 AM
Poll would not lie, Casimero got 96.3% of the total votes here, so it's very obvious that most of us here believe that Casimero will win. Actually, I don't believe that when a boxer is inactive he will not be the same, because if a boxer that is inactive were active in the gym practicing, there should be no changes on his conditioning, Casimero was only inactive in professional sports but I'm pretty sure he keeps himself in shape all the time.

Maybe the poll was influenced by the fact that many users who read this thread were compatriots of Casimero like myself but in reality, though Quadro Alas has the advantage in this fight though the odds are not released yet but there's a big chance that Casimero would be the huge favorite in this fight.

Casimero is out of the ring for quite some time now so ring rust might be an issue but considering that this is a comeback fight and a must-win for him, he will do whatever it takes to take the W at the end of 12 rounds if this would go the distance.
Whether Casimero would be the favorite or not then people cant really just easily tell that this is a walk in the park kind of fight for him, if we do look out on statistics of Akaho then he's more far experienced
than with Casimero but if you do look up on its history of fights then it is mostly done on his local. I havent seen this guy on how he fights and i might be considering on watching up some replays
and vids in relation to this and do make out some comparison and tell up on how these fighters or boxers do really fight or simply how good they are on technical plus
that endurance and of course in overall power.

Not sure if we can call this a walk in the park, but probably more of a big test for Casimero in this weight that's why they choose a opponent like Akaho.

A very durable and experience fighter and maybe there could be ring rust for Casimero and Akaho could take advantage of it and make this fight very exciting for us. But Casimero's punching power will be the equalizer here and once Akaho gets tired, John Riel will look for a knock out or maybe a decision win for him.
Speaking of ring rust then this is something a boxers problem but we dont know if Casimero is secretly training or maintain up his physique even dont having some upcoming fights or simply he maintained his training
which we can say that ring rust is something that cant really be that possible or an excuse but well it could really happen and could be seen on the way he fight this upcoming December 3.
Just like on what i had said that this wont really be a walk in the park kind of fight on which he should really be still that careful on dealing up with Akaho because one mistake or carelessness
would really be resulting a defeat. This is a fight which you could really say that underdog could really be having the chance on beating up.
1615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Akaho - December 3 on: November 11, 2022, 11:39:54 PM

1616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: November 11, 2022, 10:46:44 PM
Basically correct, you know before when talking of investment or trading what comes into my mind always is the risking factors and the next is are you willing to bear the risk or not, and as a trader having a positive mindsets is alway a thing to look into otherwise losing is inevitable. Before making a decision to start the investment journey or even involving in trading is to gain the basic understand which includes the fundamentals which is among those you have just outlined.
Risk is always unavoidable for sure we will bear it all even though we have paid attention to some of the basics, and well patterns must be considered especially in trading how to pay attention not to be a big risk, maybe the most common in trading is mental must be ready and sometimes I also always face this when the market has fallen or is called a bear market.
But in my own conclusion, I have a strong understanding, we already know that the market is bearish, but we have to know how to deal with it when trading starts.
Make yourself;

Mentally prepared
Emotionally prepared

These are the things which you would really be needing for you to be able to bare and survive this unpredictable market. There's no way that you could really make out
conclusions on whatever things you do have in mind.Just dont let yourself that being greedy because having these beliefs and intentions would
certainly make even more mistakes along the way which is never been recommendable.
1617  Other / Archival / Re: I don't want to buy cheap bitcoins, I want to buy expensive ones on: November 11, 2022, 09:11:15 PM
hahaha, that meme is all over the place on Reddit and Twitter  Cheesy maybe the reason why people not buying when cheap is because lack of money and fear when the market continue to drop and why people buy at higher price because they might think the price will continue to Rose
That is mostly the mindset of people who came to invest without real knowledge about bitcoin. And since they believe on it, they start doing the opposite way, buying at a high price and selling at a low price, and certainly end up losing and blaming bitcoin for their wrong decision. However, if they don’t start making wrong decisions and losing their capital when they are still newbies, they will never learn and never grow from crypto investments.
Mistakes are common and this is why we do really learn up things basing up on that experience.Im aint saying that mistake is necessary but it is something an inevitable thing which you cant really be able to avoid.

Panic selling is common, Buying in Fomo is common which its a behavior on where people do usually jump in.Its never been that new that they are really doing such thing. You could really be having the confidence on
buying out if you do see that the market is already in green which you should suppose to buy when the market is dipping or decreasing, it might sound simple but its understandable that its not.
You cant really be able to do such action considering that emotions would be your primary enemy on this time.
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: November 10, 2022, 10:48:09 PM
Fighting out a legendary fighter even if this is the old Manny pacquiao but this guy do still have the speed and power which it doesnt mean that you could belittle him
or being too confident that you could beat up.

Well, this is an exhibition fight which it isnt really that surprising that matches been made is mostly on cross-sports.So it doesnt really give out that much interest on my part.

Pacquiao's last fight as a professional boxer was Aug 21, 2021. That is over a year now. I do not think that he still has the power and the speed that we used to know. Even in his last fight, he is already stiff and does not have the footwork that we used to see. This is just an exhibition match so I do not expect to see anything fancy or reminiscent of the previous glory of Pacquiao. I will watch this just for entertainment value and for being sentimental about seeing Manny Pacquiao in the ring again. But I do not expect very much because his opponent is not a real boxer.

Yes, I remember he mentioned that in his interview after losing the fight with Ugas, he's no longer the same Pacquiao that we used to know during his prime age and even he still have that speed and skills this upcoming fight is just an exhibition maybe we might see some but not the same with how we project him when he is inside the ring way back.

The enjoyment of the fans seeing him inside the ring is good enough to pay for the tickets as how you see it.

Of course, he will lost his speed and power as time goes by, that's the natural process in boxing, when boxers are no longer in their primes, sooner or later they will have to lose just like what happen to Pacquiao in the Ugas fight.

But if you we are going to ask if him if he can still fight, for sure he will answer yes. And so he is back with an exhibition fight and wanted to see for himself if he can still pull the trigger. And so this is what exhibitions can do with former boxers, they can still box just like old time, but without the risk in their health and definitely could still earn money in the side (although reports says that Manny will donate his purse.)
For retired boxing legends then we dont actually know into our minds on why they do still consider on involving themselves on boxing as they had retired already.? If they do really mind off
their health then they wont really be considering on fighting back up again on the ring.If they do really mind off about on not on getting forgotten then this might be their inspiration
or something that do really mind off about having some fight for the benefit of some charities. Its true that minding about on whose gonna win wont really be that
relevant with these exhibition fights as if the results were already clear.
1619  Economy / Economics / Re: How much longer until paper money is no longer in circulation? on: November 10, 2022, 09:45:33 PM

How long do you think it will take for paper money to be phased out for good? Will CBDCs be able to replace not only paper money but also credit/debit cards? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
No matter how far we would progress out but still paper fiat would really be still on existence and as long government exist then they wont really be letting these things to happen along the way.
We cant really deny the fact that fiat do really plays out a major role.It might be having its cons but lets just not set aside when it comes to its pros and benefits.
Paper money could be printed out but of course it would really be on a constraint or controlled manner which we know that inflation could really be an inevitable thing.
No matter how CBDC's would be that rampant in near future but still its hard to believe that fiat would really wiped out from existence.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bet From Other Unknown Bettors, Is This a Good Practice? on: November 10, 2022, 08:42:08 PM
My reason for this thread is actually me wanting to ask if copying bets from unknown bettors is a good practice ?
I tried this one time and won actually, though the odd was pretty low and i staked a very small amount as well, but then, i tried it again the next day and lost, though not anything significant...

So for you, is copying bets online a good practices? have you tried it and won before? would you try it when you really want to bet and have no idea where or what sports to bet on?
