221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Receive $300 (30000 CNG tokens) just by registration before May 20 on: May 20, 2020, 05:14:05 PM
Coinsbit used to hold an airdrop with an estimated $ 200 but when the token was listed on the exchange itself and the price was quite high but we as tokens of airdrop cannot be sold even if we can sell it can get $ 200 +, but after the price is so falling to the bottom then the tokens can be sold can this be manipulated by the exchange itself? to be honest I am not so sure the 30k CNG airdrop is $300.

Exactly you're right man.  I have participated in few airdrops hosted by coinsbit, with the stress of KYC and some others, hardly did I get $15 when the coin was listed on the exchange that promised $300 as usual.  Even the Coinsbit token itself (CNB) did not make up to 15% of what they promised initially.  All those airdrops are just hype and participants should not be too rested on the amount promised.
222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance is a good exchange but don't expect forever surge on: May 20, 2020, 11:31:18 AM
Please let's all stop taking top exchanges as coins pumpers, just because a coin is listed on binance doesn't mean the surge will always be like it is forever, Binance makes sure of the following

1. Legit projects
2. Good volume
3. Good liquidity
4. Profitable launchpad

What binance doesn't guarantee

Keeping surges alive when it all depends on team continues developments, how is binance responsible for this? Even binance had to burn BNB token supply to reach a valuable target, binance won't control the team of the projects listed on their exchanges for Christ sake

Let's stop treating binance like volatility proof

There is no doubt that Binance is one of the reliable exchanges that numerous projects developers look forward to for listing.  It is of a truth that surge of project prices cannot be expected forever because keeping this is also largely depend on the project developers.  If a project fails to develop in its roadmap, then there is nothing the exchange can do.  But the crux of the matter is that greater percent of projects on binance are reliable.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: May 19, 2020, 12:59:01 PM
I don't believe in ICO ranking sites. Most of them are paid and not real.
The more they get from the team (payment) the better the rank they will give!

What I am looking for in ICO is looking at MVP, live and working products. Something that really can make a difference. Not just empty words with fancy pictures.

Majority of ICO ranking sites are not reliable at all, they're are not to be totally trusted when it comes to depending on their ratings as a yardstick for supporting or choosing a project to support.  It would be better to do personal findings before going for any project.
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the halving will end the downtrend of the last price circle on: May 19, 2020, 08:55:37 AM
bitcoin will begin its new uptrend journey soon

it will be better if a small alts season comes during the gap before the pump of btc

There were lots of talks about how the price of Bitcoin will turn out to after the halving.  More than 90% of crypto price speculators said the trend will follow the same of what happened in the last halving, that is drastic reduction in the price of BTC.  However, the reverse was the case now as the price of BTC kept on soaring after the halving.

226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Extra weeks added to bounty campaign on: May 12, 2020, 07:19:52 AM
To all bounty hunters on this wonderful forum i want to know if its advisable to continue with the bounty you have been promoting for 12weeks that got extra 8weeks added more, have you promote projects this long that ends up with good end results? Thank you

I can view this in two different perspectives.  I have participated in such bounties like this, that after some weeks of promotion, the team added another.  It depends on the hunter, if you see prospect in such bounty, it's an opportunity to gather more of such tokens, but if there is none, then it's better stop and find another promising project to join.  There are some that will pay at the end of the day and some will be waste of time and other resources.  Mycros bounty campaign lasted for more than a year and few people were able to finish it.  Though I didn't know what they got from it because I didn't participate.  So it all depends on the hunter's view of the project if it is good to continue or not.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: May 11, 2020, 02:19:39 PM
In some cases where a token price crashes soon after listing on the Exchange, the blames has over time been attributed to the bounty hunters and sometimes to early investors that received certain bonuses.

Do you think 40% bonus for early investors is too much and capable of crashing token price?

In my own opinion, 40% is just too much for the early investors.  This was the question I put to the team members of one bounty I'm presently in.  Too much of the tokens in the hands of some will definitely not good when the coin is listed.  Those that have much of it will not care to dump it when it is listed.
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usefulness of stablecoin on: May 10, 2020, 02:24:21 PM
Holding stablecoin is the best strategy ever in crypto space, remember when Bitcoin drowned to 3500$? This is an example of good times to make good use of your usdt or other stable coins, you want to double your coins easily? Learn to hold stablecoin and wait for the right moment, that's bear market, bear market isn't always bad, it's most time a golden moment for those who hold stable coins.

Yeah holding stable coin is a good idea, even if their prices decrease it doesn't beyond reasonable or acceptable one.  This is what investors make use of most of the times. They hold stable coins, wait for the bearish market and buy a lot of coins with those stable coins.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Token burning on: May 10, 2020, 09:04:50 AM
Hey

I have noticed a few projects that developed a deflation system for their coins/tokens called burning.

They burn their tokens on a special occasion or simply when someone pays their product with the native token. They burn few percent of the price.

What do you think about this? Imo, if people actually buy the produc then it can really reflect the price of a coin?

Let me know what you think.

I stand to be corrected, I have not seen any deflationary token that is still successful till date.  The advent of deflationary tokens brought a new spirit into Cryptos industry and many of us thought it's going to be a good idea because it will create a kind of scarcity and thereby increase the price when the demand is high.  Unfortunately, this didn't work out as demand for deflationary tokens was nothing to write home about.  I still have some in my wallet now that is not making sense at all.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: COVID-19 is helping to expand the crypto world on: May 10, 2020, 08:33:12 AM
COVID-19 has locked down the office, market, business even our life. People are passing idle time at home. Many people are now trying to engage in online job and online business. Many of them are being eager to invest in blockchain based investment platform like me. I was not so much interested about crypto world and would be always busy with my work. When I was lying at home day after day, I started to know about online investment. At a time I realized, cryptocurrency is the best for me to invest and now I am an investor on blockchain platform. So, I think, Corona Virus is encouraging people to invest in cryptocurrency and thereby helping to expand the crypto world.

What's you thought about it?

It is very true that due to the effect of lock down people tend to surf internet more.  But in my own view I don't think the virus outbreak has had that significant effect on the adoption of Cryptos as many are hyping it.  It was said when the price was dropping that it was the effect of the virus, but right in the midst of the same virus, the price start improving again.  It is just a matter of interest and mindset.  No matter how someone surf internet 24/7 if he or she do have interest in Cryptos, then it won't have any effect.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New cruptocoin with potential! Come join, you got nothing to lose! on: May 09, 2020, 05:23:34 PM
Hello there!
I just heard about this new cryptocurrency that will hit the “market” really soon. Its called PI network.

As far as I know, this cryptocurrency will be different from most cryptocurrencies out there, because it has a different transaction system from other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. I really think that PI has great potential.

What I want from you guys is to just download their phone application. You can learn more about it in this app and also earn your first PI coins. Just join and gather some coins because who knows, this may end up being quite expensive in the future. You got nothing to lose if you try it and the app isnt really that big. For those who are familiar and know cryptocurrencies very well, I think you would like this new thing. And for those who just want to get some money, I cant promise much for the very near future but who knows, this may end up being even better than other cryptocurrencies.

You can download the app using this link:https://minepi.com/DannySpanky
It is a referral link, but dont worry, it will not automatically add you as my referral unless you manualy put my name in the app after registering.
Buuut for those who are sceptical... here is the main page:https://minepi.com/
The download button is in the front I believe.

Well I have seen this for a while.  I tried in mining some with the downloaded app.  With careful study of the project, I discovered it doesn't have any prospect. It will just amount to a waste of time.  Some high ranking users of this platform have also noted that, it doesn't worthy the attention.  If you want to continue, good luck to you.
232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Million money is a wrong way, if truly you owant to invest in crypto currency on: May 09, 2020, 03:15:25 PM
My attention has been drawn to a certain ponzi scheme on the trust app dapp, they call it million money and the scheme uses etherum for its ponzi activity.

Please do not be deceived, investment in million money ponzi scheme is not the same as investing in crypto currency.
The perpetrators are saying invest in etherum through million money but it js wrong, it is phishing and the wrong way of investment.

The ponzi targets newbie who has no idea how crypto works, then employs crypto experts yo spread liea about how it leads to etherum investment.

Please let's stay clear of million money

Thanks for this friend.  Just last week I was sent an invite link to their WhatsApp. When I joined I was asked to fund my trust wallet app with 0.03eth or I should send the fiat currency.  Immediately I started thinking on how this is going to work because I was motivated by the group admin that in the next two to three months I can make around 77eth.  Though, I'm not an expert in Cryptos but I know this is a pure scam. They just want to rub Peter to pay Paul.  I left the group, then following morning somebody that was invited too was now telling me those behind it and their mission.  Please newbies be careful never fall for this.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum prices may touch $250 soon so hodl on to them on: May 09, 2020, 02:45:13 PM
Ethereum had quiet a nice rally till we witnessed a minor bump in it’s prices, but for what it’s worth it also found strong resistance at $202 levels and has once again started bouncing upwards. According to this article it’s showing all the signs of crossing the $250 levels soon, and hence I feel that we should hold on to our Ethereum coins, and not rush into selling them. Furthermore when do you’ll think will Ethereum prices cross the $250 levels mark, pre or post the halving event?.

https://cryptoslate.com/ethereum-2-0-launch-and-bitcoin-halving-are-2-perfect-catalysts-for-a-bull-run/

Ethereum gradually increased in price to the surprise of many in early March when it returned from around $75 per one.  Holders of ETH were so happy until the outbreak of the corona virus pandemic when the price dropped back, however, this was quickly overcame by the rise in ETH price again.  The expectation of many now is that it's possible ETH reach around $230-$250 before halving, however I see this as a little bit difficult but nothing is impossible.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the next movement in the market on: May 08, 2020, 08:47:22 AM
Looks like the corona virus will affect cryptocurrency too, I think that price will fall a lot, because people will need money and will sell Crypto, what are your thoughts about that?

Though the corona virus pandemic is not over yet, but I think the issue of it affecting the market or whatever is not really in place now as we see market moving up/improving even in the face of this virus.  The next move in the market could be that, with halving almost here, there could probably be increase in the price of Cryptos, especially BTC and after the halving it is mostly expected that the price will drop, another deep looming.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you newbie looking for perceive income? Just be careful of AIRDROP on: May 08, 2020, 06:19:46 AM
If you are newbie and you are looking for ways of making some  Bitcoin and other altcoin, be very CAREFUL with AIRDROP campaign as many of them out there are out to scam/milk you with the little ones at your disposal. Sometimes, they are out to get your personal information like email address, etc and sell it out for money.
Some of them will tell you to send some amount of BTC or ethereum to their address as fee for you to get the aclaimed airdrop reward of which they will later run away and mute their telegram channel.

Be warn is to be armed.

All your warnings are very relevant friend.  Airdrops are just fraudulent ways devised by scammers nowadays to swindle newbies, greedy and innocent persons of their little hard earned efforts.  Bulk of these are on telegram and other social media.  Besides scamming people of their money, some created airdrops to get peoples data/documents to be used in another place, attracts users to their telegram channels in order to be used for other purposes among others. Don't be too greedy and be extra careful before you opt in for any airdrop so that it won't be a waste of time and other precious resources.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is all set to boom now... on: May 08, 2020, 05:56:47 AM
Guys, I am telling this to you after going through some hard day's ETH sees massive upswing now. It broke the key hurdle of $130 level and gave a solid start and the bulls have gained some momentum in the market because ETH is closely tracking Bitcoins price action at the moment. I guess it depends upon the pump of BTC if it pumps I am sure alts will follow the same.

ETH has really gone over some hurdles of price fallen we've witnessed at the early parts of this year.  Even despite the outbreak of the current disease ravaging the world which many people expected to have lots of negative effects on the crypto market, however, ETH still doing well to some extent.  The little rise in price we've witnessed recently could be as a result of upcoming halving in some days to come now.  It is expected that the price will also fall again after this coming halving.  All the same, ETH will still survive this and other market forces.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm concern for this family on this covid-19 pandemic on: May 07, 2020, 07:59:46 PM
Hello guys, I have been concern for the users of this forum that seem like a family not withstanding some members trying to scam others , scamming altcoin bounty managers inclusive Grin.
Therefore, my worries are in different folds, from :

1. The loss or value reduction of our investment in general and cryptocurrency .
2. Is anyone here in isolation, quarantine or their family member ?
3. Has anyone here been tasted positive to covid-19 or their family member ?

The big question however is, can we have Theymos pulling it on us tomorrow about his covid-19 status to be "positive" ?  Grin Shocked
Remember April 1 is just few hours away.

I wish us all healthy living as we keep maintaining social distancing.

Edit : "The big question however is, can we have Theymos pulling it on us tomorrow about his covid-19 status to be "positive" ?  Grin Shocked

Hurry!!! I think I was close to predicting Theymos April fools gimmick. If you look at your forum screen and your comment made, you will observe some words are also blurred, more like a virus I guess.
I'm catching the April fools fun.

Thanks for your concern man.  It has not been a easy thing staying at home.  But because of our safety we just have to do it, just for a while.  It was even more difficult in the developing countries of Africa where there was no palliative.  All the same we have to keep obeying the directives of the health professionals in order to stay safe.  I wish everyone that has tested positive quick recovery, and for the rest of us, let's obey our respective government directives.  Together we will defeat the pandemic.

238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will More Countries Introduce Crypto-friendly Legislation? on: May 07, 2020, 08:44:10 AM
In the past two months,, some countries have been attracting attention in strengthening cryptocurrency adoption. Financial regulators and legislators in India, South Korea, Germany, and France have all passed crypto-friendly laws, which has eased their attitudes towards cryptocurrencies.

These new legislations are seen as bullish signals by the crypto community. In other words, these four countries are seen as leaders in other countries, and they may lead more countries to warm up for cryptocurrencies in the future.

How do you think about this?

I know the reality of this will be a great joy to crypto industry.  The interest of some country governments policies in crptos will go a long way in increasing the adoption and will welcome more investors into the industry.  This is our desire and we are optimistic that more countries will come to the light of this.
239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: May 06, 2020, 07:37:21 PM
We are told several times on this forum never to leave your coins on exchange, well I know the difference about low rated exchanges and high rated exchanges and I know that many traders prefer high rated exchanges for trading because of volume and Liquidity but my point is there is no way to be a trader without your coins sleeping in exchange wallets, why? Because sometimes while you are asleep bitcoin can hit a new price target.

For example BTC is trading at 8000$ and I put up a sell order at 9000$, most times this won't happen in an instant, sometimes you wake up the next day and your order became successful isn't it? Now for those saying 'don't leave your coins on exchanges' how do you trade?

The advice is just for your good.  Many exchanges are vulnerable to hackers who have stolen millions of dollars.  It's not necessarily your coins are on exchange before you monitor price and trade.  Keep your coins in your wallet app where it is safer than exchange. Then when you have a favourable price to trade with, quickly transfer your coins to the exchange.  It's better to spend little gas for transfer than losing the whole coins on the exchange.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Faith of cryptocurrency after this pandemic period. on: May 06, 2020, 08:00:53 AM
The novel covid-19 crisis has created a massive awareness in cryptocurrency that thrends, social media sites confirmed that cryptocurrency is one of the most discussed topics on the platform. do you think that this awareness that cryptocurrency deserved has finally arrived or is their more to offer for people to consider cryptocurrency as a means of long term investment.

It is very true that there could have been some awareness on cryptos during the lockdown periods in many countries because people tend to surf internet more to keep themselves busy.  However, I can't really say this will have noticeable change on the adoption of Cryptos.  This has to do with mindset some people have towards Cryptos, so we just have to wait and see the post effect data before we begin to make some conclusions.
