221  Other / Meta / Re: HashFast cypherdoc bankruptcy scandal : Time to clean up bitcoin on: July 06, 2015, 04:45:10 AM
I don't see how any mining offer can ever live up to the promise.

Essentially the manufacturer, if they can even make product, will always switch on the miner and mine to the point of un~profitability themselves then send you your product in almost all cases.

Even a company sends the first batch out ok, will then really make a killing on the second batch, which they can now sell at a premium and have more funds to make more product which then arrives late. Thus arbitraging out their good will from the first batch.

Only those with direct access to fab shops and economies of scale can mine at a profit.

Another way to look at it would be: once 3D printing of microchips (and the initial examples will likely be literal micrometer scale process geometry), then home miners can wrest back a significant part of the market. They don't even necessarily need to be profitable; over-optimistic mining economics only begins to hit home once it's far too late to cut a reasonable proportion of losses, and it's easier to rationalise in that way when you're not risking the huge amounts of capital that large mines are. For that reason, an expanded home mining market could help reverse the centralisation trend in mining.

That would be a wow factor when 3d printing at the home kit level lets users print out their own silicon microchip design they could buy from the mining developers is pretty much just assemble it your self and go.

Traders are loving the movement and such much coverage of bitcoin and the possible solution that bitcoin could be a part of a change in a country such has Greece or even more adoption be people suffering in the hands of the government this type of financial disaster.
223  Economy / Economics / Re: Greek banks prepare plan to raid deposits - 30% cut! on: July 06, 2015, 04:12:09 AM
At lease the people are able to choose some what of what is happening now, i wonder if there going to be an investigation to why Greece is such financial disaster someone made the wrong move some where and millions are now suffering this drama.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin really save Greece? on: July 05, 2015, 10:37:33 PM
Greek people really wanted bitcoins but couldn't get them because the euros in their bank accounts don't actually exist.

they could still be part of the bitcoin adoption by receiving bitcoin has a form of payment for anything they want to sell internationally, the question is what would be the channels of commerce for them to use in order to get paid in bitcoin.
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Greek debt crisis and the Biticoin Price on: July 05, 2015, 10:35:07 PM

228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving eurozone - Greece & Bitcoin on: July 05, 2015, 10:22:41 PM
If Greece leave the eurozone a lot of their people will be hurting, most likely to come a huge political change and it would be interesting to see if Russia is going to help out Greece if it does leave the Eurozone.
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Today it is Greece. Tomorrow it can be you. on: July 05, 2015, 10:16:53 PM

230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #EarnBitcoin on: July 05, 2015, 10:10:18 PM
I forgot to mention that https://www.bitwage.co/ offers this option to many. Although it's only for stable payrolls in developed countries...

Great find there i didn't know there was already something like that out, look like bitwage is a pretty cool tool for payrolls, so mostly likely for companies that want to go decentralized with their payrolls this would be a great choice.

It doesn't. Yet.

On the seller side, it’s business as usual. Revenue is earned and withdrawn in US dollars. The option to withdraw revenue in Bitcoin is currently not available on Fiverr.

it would be pretty interesting to see that happen, more bitcoin interested people will be posting on fiverr.
231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trending in greece! on: July 05, 2015, 09:59:26 PM
the Greeks can still earn bitcoin buy selling anything of value in order to receive bitcoin in exchange, most likely we could see a lot more adoption in Greeks accepting bitcoin since they have so many restrictions, maybe the real state market could be booming in bitcoin payments for those willing to move out of Greece.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #EarnBitcoin on: July 05, 2015, 09:39:37 PM
well i have used fiver with bitcoin to pay a few things i have gotten done, but not really sure how it works from the other stand point where and how the services providers get paid.
233  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Local Bitcoins scam email? on: July 05, 2015, 09:26:56 PM
There has been a few alert announcement from the localbitcoins staff for emails like this asking to download or clic on link, like always a fishing attempt to get your password or install a malware in your computer.

234  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin in the Headlines: More Hot Air for Greece on: July 05, 2015, 05:07:42 PM
wow seeing people talking about 60 Euro is enough to survive, no full family can survive on 60 euros a day thats just what about their public bills, electricity/water/phone/gas
just have the restriction along is just crazy.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Bug Rocks Bitcoin World, Losses Continue Mounting for Victims on: July 05, 2015, 03:18:19 PM
Man this big pools mostly when a fork happens is a selfish pool not using the same version has the others because they want to take over and have the other follow them, well with all the money now put to mining equipment some of this pool have turned into small corporations.
236  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: July 05, 2015, 03:10:45 PM
Most site didn't accept bitcoin as payment but we can buy brazzer account and after buy we can use it .

That is not strictly legal if you ask me. Brazzers don't accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment. So what these people (Bitcoiners) do, they create premium memberships using Visa / Master payment, and later sell these accounts for Bitcoin on various dark market sites. If the Brazzers admins are alerted about this, then these accounts will be terminated or deactivated. So it is risky.

yea mostly likely there are scare of bitcoin because of taxes and how the irs is always putting the porn industry in a loupe when it comes to their revenues.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2015, 02:58:02 PM

238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the reason why Satoshi didnt use his 500k-1Million Bitcoins on: July 05, 2015, 02:53:18 PM
Here are the possible reasons in my opinion (ranked from the most probable one to the least):

1. He is dead
2. He has lost the private keys
3. He is not interested in accumulating wealth
4. He is waiting for BTC to climb to 1BTC = $ 100,000
5. He is in jail
6. He is under surveillance from the tax authorities
7. He is in a coma
8. He is saving them for his retirement
9. He is terminally ill
10.He has already transferred / sold the private keys to someone else.

lmao oh god,

11. He has a lot of child support and he doesnt want the court to know he has bitcoins
12. He is scare that he's wife might take half of his bitcoin and leave him

not bad i would say #10 there is always private deals going on.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: July 05, 2015, 02:48:08 PM
lets just yes bitcoin is not perfect but comparing it to the opportunities it offers to other payment systems mostly centralize this is enough for the community to work together and make bitcoin a better software and network has everything does over time, with the experience developers gain over time and bitcoin will become better.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do wallets detect fork and warn for it? on: July 05, 2015, 02:43:58 PM
for the average folk that dont want to deal with the complete blockchain i would recommend using electrum, then if your mining your not an average bitcoin users most up to date on news and block statistics.
