There are projects that do a lot of advertising right from the start. and then there are projects that first develop the product and then advertise. Personally, I prefer second. And Aimedis will probably also belong in this group
Basic advertising and social activity doesn't demand very much. I think we will see something like questions and answers session where people will be able to find out more about Aimedis. A Q&A session or something like this in their Telegram channel or via videostream, is a great idea to attract more potential investors for Aimedis project. Q&A sounds really awesome, because then you can ask questions live to the team. Few projects are also doing this, and i really liked it so far. A Q&A also shows investors that their team is working on advertising. Those who make Q&A sessions and live streams are doing good in marketing. The live coomunication is the main thing for ICO in my opinion. Not every person will ask questions here and wait for the answer. People want to get answers ASAP. |

Morning everyone have just been going over Vanigs roadmap and looking at when they are set to launch in 2019. Choosing Malaysia and the Philippines in my opinion is really a smart move. Two countries with communities that have high blockchain acceptance and a thriving ecommerce space. Launch should be strong and help lead to dynamic momentum leading into the bigger Asia countries, great choice exciting future.
I think that is a smart choice given the fierce competition in Europe and the US. It would be a great place to start generating tracking and moving from there. Once the businesses model is proven profitable I think expansion would not be of a problem This thought never crossed my mind. I mean i had checked roadmap but never thought why they decided to start with Malaysia and the Philippines. Now based on above discussion I think Vanig selected good countries to start it's business. I think they are good countries to set up in, however the team should really start working on setting up a site and supply chain in the US as soon as possible. In terms of market size the US offers the biggest opportunity for retailers, for example Walmart's revenue in the 2016 fiscal year was $482.1 billion, in comparison with the ten largest companies in The Phillipines, (this includes banks, conglomerates, energy suppliers and department stores), recorded a combined revenue of $187.6 billion in 2016. I know it's unfair to make a comparison between The Phillipines & the US because of the size of the countries and the power each country has. But it highlights the difference in retail markets. Walmart, which is just one company in America has over 2.5x the combined revenue of the ten biggest companies in The Phillipines. It does make you think they need to put some focus on the US retail market and if I was Vanig I would start preparing the US strategy and branding now. I think they are aiming to US and Europe for global expanding. Everyone wants to be here eventually. Malaysia and the Philippines are at the same time great market to start and even to make some mistakes. IO mean when you move your bussiness to US then you have no right for mistakes. |

Thanks for the link but why rating showing NA. I mean everything is proper and updated with all details in their whitepaper, still after that everything is NA. What does mean that? Icochamp is rating/review site? There are too much ICO reviewing websites that are actually empty. They give us such kind of strange content where something is good and informative and somehting just lacks more exploration. It's too bad that someone will visit such website and see this "N/A" rates. |

Anyone have idea about pre-sales? how is pre-sales going on? How much money Aimedis collected till now? Token price is just 0.12 USD but don't know if there is any bonus available.
It's a good point, I can't seem to find any pre-sale information, do they publicly display this? I think they should so other investors / potential investors can see the scale they are working with If you create an account on the ICO page, you get access to the dashboard with a progress bar. Up to now Aimedis raised funds of 2.54 million $. Thanks for the information. 2.54 million USD is cool amount. They have softcap of 9 million USD. But I don't know why they kept it like this, I mean why we need to create account if I just want to check pre-sales status at the start. And if I like the I will register and buy tokens. 9 million USD is softcap? I think Aimedis ICO will easily reach softcap and possibly hardcap as well, but it's to early to comment. They should keep ICO details easily accessible. It's better when company sets a realistic level of money to raise. If 2.54 millions is enough for continuing project that's fine! I saw many campaigns with a dreamy softcap and no future at all. |

Yeah i think it is a great way to attract people in to the project and the winner could possibly invest in Vanig too, but they should not do a lot of these as they are giving free tokens away a lot then. The incentive involved is a form of motivation for individuals to participate in the contest. And at the end of the day, only one winner emerges. Although the price might be huge, but it's still just am individual out of the multitude. I really think this act will do more of helping than negative impact on the project. Vanig team is giving nice chance to win good amount of Vanig tokens. USD 1000 worth Vanig tokens for referrals contest is good one. $1000 in Tokens would be great, but I'm probably not a good seller, I never attract many new prospects. Unfortunately... Yeah... I really asked a lot of questions to the ceo during the AMA and he answered all the questions completely along with the questions of others who took part in the AMA... It was really educated about vanig yesterday. Yeah I notice you asked a lot of questions one of the question you asked that I really liked was the reason behind starting vanig and honestly CEO Dan Ramirez stated a good reason why they decided to start vanig, one of which is lack of transperancy in the existing platform and also negligence of some key process involved in e-commerce platform. He also stated how they intend to tackle this problem. I have not asked any question because I missed the timing. But I checked the telegram messages, and I can say it was a very interactive session. I missed it too. I only meant the latter part of the AMA, and from what I noticed it appeared to have be a huge success. I hope to meet the next one. One of admins wrote recently that they possibly make another AMA the next week. I think we will know more precisely in the beginning of the week. Just watch attetively the Telegram group, there's always something interesting there. |

After all, they want to put these chips in the packages so that we can monitor the transport routes and temperature live
They range in cost from a few cents to dollars depending on volume, I’d imagine they will use unified monitors like container monitoring to save cost I’d imagine or pallet based rfids to monitor Well good things don't come cheap, they tend to come with a cost and from the AMA discussion yesterday, the CEO was really passionate about the whole project, so i guess going for such to make them stand out from the crowd, isn't much of a big deal to him as customer satisfaction seems to be his top priority, it was really an interesting session What I noticed for this topic - Dan said that Vanig is forming partnerships with tracking system providers. Also the cost of RFID/IOT sensors has come down in last one year given the large volume of production, so assuming the shipment has bulk goods, the cost of sensors will be negligible and will be covered by Vanig. |

What are peoples opinion on the postponement of the Vanig Pre Sale? I personally think it was a good move and it has allowed Vanig more time to promote their project and work on their marketing to try and reach out to as many potential investors as possible.
I did not notice the shift, thanks for the message From the point of view of Vanig I can understand this step, it is incredibly hard to find investors at the moment. But in general I'm not a friend of constant shifts. At the moment, I think 80% of the ICOs extend. Schedules are hardly respected. I do not like it It's better to postpone the pre-sales and main sale that extending it. I have also seen few ICO extended ICO end date by giving some excuse. But I think Vanig team wants to keep all things ready before pre-sales starts I think it's good move. If they have postponed the pre-sale mean they are not ready or they want to make some good announcement or partnership before sale starts. i would rather the team delayed their sale to have everything they needed to have completed done, then them rush it out. Not only Vanig postponed its crowdsale from summer months. I see several more examples. Summer is a dead period for any financial campaign, people are thinking more about vacations then work. Autumn has way more potential for this project. |

Well I don't think that bringing a blockchain into the healthcare can change anything inside that sphere but the propper way might be that one when you're spending a part of the money you got during the ICO on development of med gears and building a new hospitals
It can, actually. You can store patient files encrypted on blockchain, you can store medical receipts and there are other applications as well. My concerns are different, I am afraid that Aimedis has large competition already. Is it a real problem the patient data files been stolen? It might have some sense if the patient have some ... socially stigmed desiese, yes. For the receipes I still don't feel the blockchain is needed but maybe it can have a use, fine Concerning recipes, I think the high risky nature of medic professtion is the deal. People can die because of medical errors, and there are not always enough evidences to prove this. On the contrary, if patient blames doctor for the error, the doctor want to have the mean to prove his innocence. |

It's really cool that CRYPTOCEAN will provide plastic and virtual cards for fiat, crypto, smart accounts
I do look forward to seeing the release of the plastic card and I do think this will be a very good selling point for CryptOcean and stand out from the rest of the projects Like the selling point such release will create will be on a maximum level, that will also indicate that they mean business, one thing is seeing something online like in a virtual world, it creates less impression than holding and physically feeling something, this will send a wave of authenticity to the community and both individuals that are glued to the traditional way of doing things will like to know more about the project Id like to see the card in action as well, I think personally id like to see a testnet version of it working in a video I think plastic cards for crypto can become the biggest step in evolution of blockchain financial systems in 2018. Just imagine how big this movement is - from semilegal online payments and exchanges to the possibility to pay just like with the ordinaty fiat currency with plastic card. But what about the security of these plastics cards? I mean we can see lots of fraud, fiat card details getting hacked every day. I think it's also possible for this Cryoto cards. What makes crypto payments the safest technology? It's blockchain, not just anonimous unreadable addresses. Plastic cards should work via blockchain too. They should check all payments information through the decentralised networks. Plastic card here is just a public key of your crypto address. I wonder how the private key can be interpreted. |
