222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2key hits soft cap goal. Projects nowadays are still raising money! on: May 29, 2020, 08:08:32 AM
As long as project has good root it can raise money with no problem. yes, there is crisis but that wouldn't stop some people from investing. ieo seems to be the best option ever since ico got banned. It is just a new project and right thing would be to just wait and see how it gets accepted.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exodus or Atomic wallet for ether ? on: May 29, 2020, 06:25:41 AM
I have used them and they are both equally decent to store your alts, I think most important thing is how you keep your private keys secure and you should always rely on your own security measures than fully trusting wallets. May be use them both and see which one works best for your need?
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: May 29, 2020, 06:22:49 AM
Yes I do agree with you. There has been many incidents in the past that has led to people not trusting those sites. You should always come to conclusion based on multiple websites and not just one website. it always helps to look at different websites and do your own research.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest trading strategy on: May 28, 2020, 06:50:33 AM
It's a good strategy to keep back up so you can benefit from both sides. Issue here is that market rarely listen to you and it has its own mind. Emotions can be hard to manage when there is risk involved and that's when people make mistakes. It's not something you can really control.
226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are afraid on investing to bitcoin? on: May 28, 2020, 06:44:27 AM
If you buy a bitcoin in the price of 9000$, yes it may drop, but we have clearly seen that this is what it does. It goes up and down. If you have 1 million dollars and buy 100BTC  (900.000$) then the only thing you have to do is wait. Because someday it will pass that number and you will have profit. Am I wrong?

that is correct and we need more people like you who can put their trust on bitcoin. Most people want its price to increase but the problem is trusting themselves and it won't be a problem if you do. waiting game is the tough part for many people and once you can get over it you will end up in profit.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: May 28, 2020, 05:53:03 AM
If you are holding a good token you won't have any problem. problem only exist if you are invested into something that is too volatile but volatility can be good. If you want to be in it for long haul you can stick to eth, btc etc but there are other tokens that very good long hodl. You just wanna make sure to keep yourself updated all the time so there is no risk of your token getting delisted. it can happen. one time I had this alt and it was going to get delisted. luckily, I sold it a day before.  Smiley
228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Importance of social media channels on: May 27, 2020, 01:53:58 PM
social media plays an important role in any project and it is a good idea to follow some of them if not all. good programs mention all these things inside their documents so anyone can read it. telegram has become the most important platform for many projects so thats one thing everyone should always follow.

I wouldn't follow anything unless I am already fully invested,,, and even so, I stick to ONE social media. For me in crypto this is the forum. Anything important is announced here first, not on Twitter, IM experience.

Telegram is ok too but I do not have the desire these days to read drama.

Indeed. Following only applies if you are already invested in a project. I understand the drama has been little too much and I try to ignore it myself and keep focused on the aspect I am invested in.
229  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency & Mobile Gaming on: May 27, 2020, 05:42:42 AM
Found out about a new project today called Ludena Protocol.
From what I've read its an app in Korea currently with 3 million users thats launching globally soon

Basically you play mobile games like COD, PUBG etc and then get rewarded in tokens, in exchange for them collecting your data and then selling it to publishers.

Does something like this even make sense? Most gamers don't care about cryptocurrency in my opinion, but the fact that 3 million users are currently using the platform that can be easily convereted into DAPP users in the backgorund is kind of appealing.

Anyways, I would appreciate everyones input on whether these two industries should even be combined

There have been many projects that have tried to combine the gaming and cryptocurrency. I think it is very tricky when there is a monopoly in gaming industry and certain apps/websites control large part of market share. I've always liked the idea of combining the two and I really hope that there is success in that. I am not sure but increasing incentives can be helpful but not necessarily. You need audience too.
230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: May 27, 2020, 05:38:14 AM
There have some altcoin who have really good future for a long run investment.

1. Crypterium -CRPT
2. Tierion - TNT
3. OX -ZRX
4. Crypto.com - MCO
5. solve.net - SOLVE

What do you think about them? Also do you have any other recommendation for a long term investment?

I am not sure about any of them. I have seen them in cryptomarket but haven't really invested much time in them. Someone have mentioned that stick with old alts that are trustworthy like btc, eth, waves, ada. By putting your trust in them you are in good hands. it doesnt hurt to check other projects too for long term I think you should be little more careful.

232  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the new cryptocurrency worth buying on: May 26, 2020, 07:16:01 AM
With the development of the economy, BTC is now gaining more and more attention, and it is not disappointed by the people who chose it. From being questioned at the beginning, to a large number of people investing now, it has become a popular investment product. I first learned that BTC was recommended to me by my friend W (who was the administrator of the Monetary Authority) at that time, and let me also invest, but I thought it was a hype May be cheated (this has become a big pity for me). Later, I started investing in 2013, when I bought 100 BTC and sold it at the price of 16,000 in 2017. Now my friend W has recommended a new cryptocurrency to me. Should I invest?

Are you sure this happened in 2017? If I am not wrong 100 btc would be worth much more than 16,000 in 2017. Which cryptocurrency is your friend asking you to invest in. I think you should look around and research it before putting anything on it.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tron (TRX) Discussion on: May 26, 2020, 05:47:18 AM
Although I would prefer eth over tron. I would like to see this happen and help tron gain its reputation back but my opinion is probably biased because I hold bags of tron  Cheesy. I find that with such large community as tron we can get back.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: May 26, 2020, 05:42:26 AM
This is not a new phenomenon though. We are in the same market as we were few years ago when price rose exponentially. There is always up and down and you have to watch for that but overall if there is a good project it will rise and I think with digital world we have entered, blockchain and altcoins will lead the future.
235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap Changes - Broken the Trust of the Crypto Community? on: May 26, 2020, 05:38:10 AM
Not at all. I think even if it is owned by binance they can't make too many changes or else the risk of pushing away old users. It is in their best interest if they stick with how they website was and only make few changes. I don't think they bought it without thinking over how they can use it to benefit themselves but as long as they aren't too biased people won't care.
236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: May 23, 2020, 06:55:00 AM
If you really feel like investing I would stay stick with top 20 alts for most part and play around with other alts to see if there is a good investment. Always keep your investment diversified in different projects and don't lose track of your investment. Even if you choose to invest in Bat, same rules apply.
237  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETHEREUM UNDERVALUED OR OVERVALUED on: May 23, 2020, 05:52:23 AM
definitely undervalued right now and there are many other alts in top who are also undervalued just like eth. In right time they will gain their position and come out more solid and more appreciated.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do buybacks increase the value of a cryptocurrency? on: May 22, 2020, 05:55:02 AM
Buybacks is a good way to get more investors onboard but I don't think it makes big difference in increasing the value of any cryptocurrency. It helps get more people interested in your projects since it may make it seem that there is less risk involved in investing.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New documentary: Bitcoin Revolution in Africa on: May 22, 2020, 05:50:45 AM
this looks interesting. I saw it was just released but I think I'll wait for reviews before I give it a go. If anybody has seen it feel free to provide some reviews. I have seen other docs on bitcoin and most of them have been mixed bag.
240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: May 22, 2020, 05:45:15 AM
what does it mean by built in wallet? it could mean that it's a wallet app pre-installed but you can always install it from playstore. Its good to hear that these companies are stepping forwards in adopting blockchain but at the same time hardware wallet is the best way to go and I am not sure built in smartphone wallet would be a good place to store your bitcoin
