Yes, I believe god was a satan unlike how most people portray him. Just look at humans, if we were created by a god then that god cannot be anything less than a satan. We're evil to our very core.
1122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: World War III ? on: April 18, 2017, 12:08:38 PM
World War 3 won't be anything like you've seen before with all the technology upgrade we've had in past centuries, it would be financial. War is expensive business.

Bitcoin
ETH

both are trade able and looks very promising at this point. I've been watching the news lately and looks like lot of money will be flowing in these two coins.

1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: r0ach's Cryptomarkets Watch & Scamcoin Observer on: July 20, 2016, 07:30:11 AM
i try to warn ppl of total shitcoins/scams here but they don't always listen.
sad.
or just fucking stupid.

I'm with you on this, I've seen very great post warning users but people are greedy by nature, you can't change that! You have to let them burn themselves so they can learn on their own. No point wasting your time on explaining anything.
1127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: July 20, 2016, 06:38:12 AM
Actually, I was still testing the website before I was gonna invest a penny on buying this. I stay away from altcoins (excluding few which has gained my trust after extensive research)

It's well played scam, they probably had to spend ton of money on those articles if anything (may be they're copy/pasta, I don't know because I haven't searched and don't have time).

Either way, Website is a nightmare to deal with and this is in no way "revolution" as some users claim.

It looks like hybrid of twitter+reddit (it's not a good thing!)

and if it's a serious project, it's not going far from the look of the website. It's one of the most horrible social networking platform I've ever visited.

1128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are some people making $11k on steem? on: July 19, 2016, 09:03:04 PM
Just out of curiosity, where is steemit userbase coming from since their original thread has only 31 pages, twitter has only 1000 followers and facebook has less than 1000 followers?

 Huh

things aren't adding up for me here. More I dive in, more complicated it gets.

The people falling for the Steem trap aren't crypto people. They are normal people who hear from word of mouth that "This girl just got paid $11,000 for having tits on this site called Steemit!" Then they say wow! and they make a few posts. Then they realize they don't have tits and, as such, don't get any money. However, every now and then one of them does have tits, and they tell their friends about their success.

At this point Steem is basically the titcoin meme that Pornhub made a video about. I'd be absolutely embarrassed if I were an investor of this fraud.

The objective is to monetize content providers, whether they are journalists, musicians, memesters, beauty consultants, or developers, to give them a place to earn money without having to chip off a percentage to a manager. People who think they are going to get paid for the same posts that do not earn them a BTC tip on reddit (or even un-spendable reddit gold) are going to be let down by the reality that no one will pay them for just participating on steem either. The make-up tutorial earned money because it targeted fashion and it was a first--and yes, you could have made one yourself, some guy did exactly that and made 10k (parody works too--he probably said, "That's stupid, let's mock it." and got paid for the effort). Some people are good at making content, some get lucky at it, but most are mediocre and will have to have a good day to make even a few bucks on the platform. If it gives content providers a way to keep more of their earnings, then I think it will be successful--stories like the make-up tutorial get people to the site, but they hardly guarantee anyone the same luck for the same effort.

If people were really making $30k off one post, it would be all over the internet. Don't you think?

It would attract attention without even trying but that's not what's happening. You search "steemit" on google, only thing you can find is some article from cointelegraph on hacking that happened days ago.

Not exactly the most objective test in the world--I didn't hear about this until a year after it happened, so....

http://sputniknews.com/voiceofrussia/news/2014_07_09/Worlds-most-expensive-potato-salad-costs-44-000-7035/

that's not the same thing. Getting $30k to post garbage is a dream of everyone who browse internet forum, social media. It should be everywhere you go.

Website has thrown multiple error, I haven't been able to cashout my $3 that I earned for signing up because it told me I needed 10x more before I could cash out.

I truly don't know what to make of this since it's pretty horrible looking set up altogether.

Yesterday it was some guy with make up who made 20k

Day before it was some girl who copy/pasted her old post and made 30k

Today it's some guy who copy/pasted link to an article and pulled 16k (still growing).

It's either a well played scam or just horrible marketing team and set up.

1132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit how can this thing be workable long term? on: July 19, 2016, 05:55:25 PM
been using it for few days, I still don't understand how it's gonna run in long term. You post 1000 words article with images,  if whale is impressed you get paid. Good for you BUT how does that help to create a strong big community like facebook or reddit where people can communicate with each other and there is no pressure to post "1000 word post" on everyone.

Most of the content I've gone through doesn't interest me at all. It's not new, it's just summary of all other online articles that are easily available with one google search. So, why steemit?

New users find out about Steemit, they create an account and now they're on the mercy of "whales" to earn steemit. Few attempts don't earn them money and they leave in frustration. Keep in mind, not everyone has ability to create great article or post. May be if there was incentive to award users weekly for posting or something it could attract more attention.

So lets say you pay $10/week just for showing their face and creating 100 posts every week (just like signature campaign). It'll get the ball rolling and everyone will have fair amount of steem power which they can use.

Another thing is, if your post is old it stops getting upvoted unless it's in "hot" or "trend" section and it's because content is being created too fast with no way to sort through them.

Unfair wealth distribution leaves society in chaos and that's exactly what's happening on steemit, it'll impact its growth.

$15k for posting a link?

Are you fcking kidding me?

1133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit how can this thing be workable long term? on: July 17, 2016, 03:04:50 PM
People don't need to know how much money others are earning. Do they?

i really like your idea, i think it would be a good way to stop the nosense posts with huge incoming.
but, i do think people want others to know how much they are earning... it's some form to be known as a "specialist" or any other nome they want to be called.

still good idea tho.

If your post is number 1 in the list, that automatically means you're earning good money. If someone has 1 million likes on youtube, you already know he is making good money.

You see what I mean?

Lets say you can see who is making most money on Youtube right next to their video as it gets posted. Chances are people are going to keep copying whichever video is making most money (they already do this! but it would get 10x worse if they could see the money).

Content copying isn't something new but why make it worse?

I don't think anybody should care whether people see how much money they're making (it just puts your account at risk).

Also, hackers are more likely to attack a website whose users earning is publicly visible on the website. I'm quite sure that's the main reason steemit is keep getting hacked.

https://steemit.com/beauty/@roelandp/the-first-steemit-male-makeup-tutorial-bringing-youtubers-to-steemit-roelandp-is-back

How is this post worth 12k?  Huh

If you're a straight male and you find this funny or worth 12k, I got some bad news.

It's kind of a troll-response to a female makeup tutorial which got something like 30k.

that's actually quite common on internet, doesn't make it worth that much money though. As someone has already mentioned, it seems like people with most steempower gets to decide who gets most money. It's a loophole, if you see one post making money, everyone will start creating similar posts regardless of its quality.

You can forget about quality traffic at that point. I'm assuming that steem developers are trying to post advertisement at some point? companies aren't going to pay money to get garbage and unrelated traffic that's only motivation is to make money rather than GIVE money.

They should hide the money tab at least or they're looking for another hack quite soon.

People don't need to know how much money others are earning. Do they?

There is a reason most online companies don't show their users earning to everyone. It exposes your website to hack. I'm surprised they didn't think about this.

If someone likes your posts with a new account, it will not even earn you one cent, but when a big account with alot of STEEM power likes your post, it might be even 10,20 or even 50$ for a single like. That is why I think it is a crazy shit forum. If girls post a stupid introduction with a sexy picture they get much likes and earn thousands of dollars with one post, unbelievable.

funny you say that because it was a girl who posted "make up video" and it earned her 11k.

1138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steemit how can this thing be workable long term? on: July 16, 2016, 04:16:46 PM
I just don't understand, how some people are making 11k on steem with 500 up votes, while others are making 0.05 cents with 30 up votes.

Math doesn't add up

I already explained that. It was done on purpose to deceive the users by making them jealous.

Is that Michael Cera in the middle?

Those with large vested balances (read: whales) have way, wayyyy more voting strength compared to the little guys. This has been my largest complaint since the beginning: whales are completely running the show. Other than that Steemit's on the right track.

Got you, so you just follow the whale and find out what he likes and create posts based on that topic to get up votes from him.

Thanks. I was trying to understand the trend there because it looked confusing.

so it's like reddit gold but worse. lol
