221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: April 30, 2017, 05:01:23 PM
Not fair and I also there are transaction fee that is 0.33 dollars that is so much for a small amount of bitcoin your going to send online and that is not unfair for an a 3-6hours of waiting for your transaction to confirmed.
So if I understand your post correctly, you think that bitcoin fees are not fair, because someone had to pay 0.33 dollar as a transaction payment, right?
Guess what, 0.33 dollars of commision is pretty much nothing if we consider that this was a big transaction.
There is no problem in transfering your bitcoins to some other address ,let's say you want to transfer all of them, so for example it is 100 bitcoin transaction.

You can easily send that with 0.001BTC fee, which is currently about 1.3$. So you pay 1.3$ to send 130000$ somewhere. It is still unfair for you?
222  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: freebitco.in Annual investment on: April 29, 2017, 07:02:55 PM
I see that many people complaining that 4.08% yearly interest is low. I don't agree. If you say that interest is low, pleaee offer something better. For example, if I would put my money into bank, I would get 0% interest.
Offcourse, you can invest into HYIP's which gives high profits, but it's too risky to invest, because we will just loose our money.
I think it's better to deposit bitcoins to freebitco.in than just hold bitcoins in wallet. Profit isn't big, but it's safe to invest and we can earn some passive income.

There is no guarantees that you will earn passive income in any kind of investment. There is always a risk to lose our investment by some cases such as site getting hacked or other things. I dont really understand how the investment on freebitco.in works but I guess they cant give you guarantee of profit. It will be suspicious if a site offering guaranteed profit on investment.

Exactly, it is not predictable because they are making through only one option that is through advertising, but they can't make millions and millions in a year. It is not possible then how can they pay interest yearly for the people who invest in it, even they didn't mentioned any guarantee towards your investment.
You should be happy that freebitco.in did not give any kind of guarantee of returns, at least that is what I think.
If they would tell us about some "guarantee" of returns, im sure that many people would leave this investing programme.
It is because of that every smart investor or traders knows that there is nothing such as risk-free investment.

Every single thing that involves any investing activities also contains risk. You cannot avoid this, and every website which claims having "risk-free way to earn money" shouls be considered at least as a shady service.
223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will bitcoin ever truly be able to integrate with society on: April 29, 2017, 06:32:46 PM
Why would we want it to integrate into government? That would open the door for government to try to control or manipulate it!

It can be integrated into society quite easily and it would exist along side fiat currencies. Think of it as a Paypal or Venmo that exists along side fiat without problem. They can coexist quite nicely!
That is why bitcoin is such a great thing because goverments cannot control it no matter how hard they want to.
It is just because Satoshi Nakamoto have made BTC decentralized, and thanks to this BTC is a great chance for normal citizens: it gives them an opportunity to make the settlements between people and companies without any use of third party services.

Its has given us the ability to avoid using banking system, but the adoption of cryptos by governments is very important for us, because we need to be sure we are secured when the law enforcement finds out.
224  Economy / Economics / Re: A Federal judge in new York has not recognized bitcoin as money on: April 29, 2017, 06:17:54 PM
Another thing to discuss is its also good if the government or whoever starts accepting BTC as a currency. It would mean we could also pay our taxes with it. One of fiat's important function is to pay what we owe the government with it. Its one property that makes fiat valuable.
Paying the taxes in bitcoin would be something really great for all bitcoin users, there would be just no struggle with doing that totally online, when in some countries you cannot even pay the taxes through the internet-which is a very huge disadvantage.

Also, adoption od BTC by governments would give the countries even more and more taxes, so why cannot we see something like this?

Obviously i would prefer for bitcoin to be tax free but i doubt that we can really hope for that.
225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be used to support terrorists? on: April 28, 2017, 07:50:03 PM
In my opinion you need to be stupid to think that bitcoin is something that is made to help criminal groups, gangs or terrorists.

It can obviously be used for purpose of financing such a terrorist organizations, or any different kinds of criminal groups that get profits from selling drugs, kidnapping people  or just regular assasinations.
But that doesnt mean that cryptocurrencies are something evil, in fact those "bad guys" use also USD or any other currency (depends on country) and nobody talks that we should delegalize $ just because of that.
226  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Which faucets do people prefer? on: April 28, 2017, 07:55:09 AM
Are faucets with long claim delay popular? Or people prefere to claim often?
I'm going to start my own faucet, and found that longer time should be more profitable for me as an owner. As I can see, most of faucets are fast or avg (5-60 mins pre claim) and it hurts me a bit. What do you think?

P.S. Also, what about accumulative faucets with minimum amount to withdraw.

I think that when it comes to claiming different faucets, it is actually a good idea to use the ones where you can complete a captcha for example once or twice a day.
They usually bring a really big amount of satoshis (if we compare it to those which are available to take every hour or 20 minutes) but the only disadvantage is that you can do it not so often-but there is a way to solve that.

If you actually want to not only lose your time on completing captchas, then you need to find many faucet sites to switch them every time you get sats from each one.
I suggest listing as many "long claims" ones as possible, it will increase your faucet gains dramatically.
227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: April 28, 2017, 07:25:27 AM
What I like the most in bitcoin is bitcoin have a fast transaction all over the world when your going to send money abroad you probably need a dollar to send money  but using bitcoin you it almost free your just paying just a cent to send money for transaction abroad so probably this thing is also what people like about bitcoin.
Can i ask you, when was the last time when you have sent any transaction lately?
Because the most annoying issue we have about bitcoin is that the fees has have increased really hard.
Also, the time of getting 3 confirmations is not just a while nowadays, it may take really long if you put up the wrong amount and while the trafffic on blockchain occurs.

Usually, it is about an hour to get your transaction fully confirmed, but there are many cases in which you cannot really assume such a short time: if there is more than 50,000 unconfirmed transfers, then you will wait a long time, unless you are ready to pay more than 50k sat for commision purposes.
228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: April 27, 2017, 09:37:03 PM
All my expectations to the bitcoin value has been achieved, i had imagined bitcoin worthing 1200-1400 dollars at 2020 after the halving moment, but well it has achieved already and it has been just one year. Soo for me bitcoin has tuened into a cash machine without limits anymore.
Im actually wondering when you have made that prediction.
You say that you expected this price some time after halving, so i assume it was more than 2 years ago.
If im correct, then it was a great prediction, maybe you are a prophet Wink

For 2017, i expect the price somewhere close to 1500-1550 at thd end of the year, but I assume that we will see the domination of bears on the very beginning of 2018. In my opinion we need some falls to still have constantly rising price.

How I quit my smartphone addiction and really started living

http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/feb/11/smartphone-technology-addiction-facebook-twitter

<< I don't like being bothered or bossed around. I hated that anyone, for any reason, could interrupt my life, and I could interrupt my life just the same. >>

I cannot understand the addiction from smartphones or computer/internet, i just dont get it at all.
Why do people get addicted from such an activities?
For me, it seems that there is nothing really interesting in smartphones, because you can just browse the internet with it, call someone or play some mobile games.

Obviously, you can talk but I doubt this is the reason.
Playing games seems more reasonable on PC, and internet is something usual, for me it is not any kind of an entertainment, unless im watching some movies or streams.
230  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buying clothes with bitcoins? on: April 27, 2017, 12:17:09 PM
certainly I will be a new online shopping it fun for me

Good, you really enjoy to use your bitcoins for online shopping. But i have not a big heart to use my bitcoins for only cloths. Because in my country, we could buy cloths in a cheap price easily. Than definitely bitcoin is more precious for me to buying cloths.
This may lead us to the important issue we can spot when doing online shopping, in several countries it is just not worth it at all to buy clothes by internet because of a simple reason:prices are too high if we consider that you cannot even check if the e.g shirt or jacket fits you well.

So it makes you wonder, why the hell would you buy some pants or other clothing by online shop if you can get fairly better price in a real shop, and also because you have a chance to see the product on your own eyes?

That doesnt makes any sense for me, unless you are looking for some specified type of clothing or an exact brand, which is hard to buy not by the internet.
231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: April 27, 2017, 10:58:25 AM
Controling your emotions during different activities is something extremely important for anyone, and it is crucial as a trader or investor to stay calm even in the event of seeing your all trades/investments are going horribly wrong.

You simply cannot let your emotions and feelings to choose instead of your brain with the help of the knowledge you have. In the moment of panic, people seem to forget the skills that they have been taught before. They do not keep themselves cold-blooded because many people simply does not know that correct behaviour and emotion management is something necessary to know even as an aspiring trader, with not so big experience.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 millions people to become millionaires are being created in public on: April 27, 2017, 10:44:38 AM
Only 21 millions people out of 7+ Billions people to become millionaires are being created in public

You've heard it right. There are currently 21 million millionaires are being created in public.

Hint: 21 million bitcoins.
Why do you think that bitcoin is going to make 21 millions people rich? Something like that seems really stupid for me, that is not how the things work.
You can stash just one satoshi or 100 bitcoins. That doesnt really matters but the Bitcoins are not going to be distrubuted equally between 21 million people, some of the blockchain users will have more than 1BTC, some less than 1BTC but still that will work differently.

I guess that the bitcoin price will really increase a lot in next 5 years, but we cannot say that only 21 million people will get benefits from it.
233  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: April 26, 2017, 03:15:09 PM
Dont invest in mining farms.Since you have large amount of money, you can just buy bitcoins and hold it for one or two years and it would certainly give you a heavy return.Dont ever go towards altcoins since most of them are just pump and dump coins.
I agree with you, investing in mining farms does not seem as a reasonable investment for me, if you dont have a big amount of funds collected.

If you are able to get enough money for such a purpose, investing in something else would be indeed a better idea: if you can start your own business, that would make better profits without any doubt.
However to achieve something like that, you need a good idea for a company which may attract customers to you, but you need to be good enough to have a chance standing in a real competition.
Still, all that is a really hard task, because you have to be really involved in all of that, when you can just simply have passive profit from different kinds of investments.

Surely, bitcoin could have made that job easily. I think that all of us may predict 2000$ price area in 2 years so that would be a great return!
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: April 26, 2017, 02:24:41 PM
Now I will choose bitcoin
Its price is growing very fast and you can quickly increase capital, gold will not.
Bitcoin in the trend.
Bitcoin is interesting to me
Maybe, but in my opinion you shouldn't choose the asset that may quickly increase capital, because the bigger chance to get your money multiplayed means the bigger chance of losing whole your money or at least the part of them.
You should take care on the risk, and always choose the correct balance between risking and staying secure.
Also, dont let yourself to forget about diversification which is extremely important tool in any types of investments, that should be always your advantage that even when any asset price will go down, then you are still being covered by the other instruments.

So, why won't you choose bitcoin and gold? Both assets are simply great and you may get decent interest on holding both of them, so I cannot understand why you should choose one.
The gold is surely a great thing during crisis, or when people want to make their money safe: then they buy gold, what increases the price.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: April 26, 2017, 01:32:22 PM
Bitcoin will have a future, because Bitcoin is the future. This is a cryptocurrency, without which we will not be able to live in 20 years.
I would not be sure with saying such a thing, you dont have any guarantee that something like this will happen.
Let's say that your prophecy is really going to fullfill itself.
If a regular citizen of any country won't be able to live without a bitcoin, it would mean that basically whole world will use only this cryptocurrency as a replacement for fiat.

Do you know that the blockchain has some issues to manage under the traffic made by the current amount of users. Imagine what would happen if even 5 billion people would send BTC transactions everyday...
There is no doubt that such a thing is not possible, without any improvement of blockchain bandwidth.
236  Other / Politics & Society / Re: More government = More homeless? on: April 24, 2017, 04:12:32 PM
That does not necessarily means that if we have more goverment control, then the bigger part of society suffers because of the growing crime rates and because of becoming homeless.

The big problem with all kind of social benefits, is that it attracts some specific kind of people, that do not want to go to any work, but instead they just prefer to do literally nothing, and watch TV and drink beer.
It is possible thanks to these benefits given by goverment, because if it would not exist, then they would have to go to the work, to eat or drink anything, right? So why do we pay them for doing nothing?! That seems like a really stupid idea for me.

People become homeless sometimes, because of the law enforcement. If someone really poor gets caught with a big amount of drugs, then he will be sentenced with a long penalty.
After that punishment, the unit will not be able to take part in a normal society, the bars have corrupted his mind and such a person can literally do only bad things, after many years spent in "legal" captivity.
237  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Buy a wife with bitcoins on: April 24, 2017, 04:00:47 PM
I cant believe what ive just saw,  if its legit then there still have a chance those guys who has a hard time  finding a wife. As long as they have btc they can get even 5 wives.
I cant believe what I have just read. Someone has actually believed that this is the legit website, with "wifes" instead of goods Cheesy
Maybe you also believe that they ship them? :DD

You made me laugh really hard, but seriously I dont get the point of doing such a websites. I assume it is something between not funny troll activity, or a scam attempt.
If someone is really desperate about finding girlfriend or wife, he can transfer 5 bitcoins for them to solve that issue, but too bad that he is just going to get scammed.

After all, I dont know if i could have survived if someone would send 5 bitcoins to my wallet, believing that im going to ship some girl to him for that price, LOL
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 20 days for Bitcoin on: April 24, 2017, 03:47:44 PM
This is a very interesting thing. There is so much bitcoin price increases. We must be optimistic and also think that there will soon be an increase again. Record will be solved.

Yeah, it is really interesting thing. But also we should see the reality, may be it will be happened in the coming time, or may be it will not happen. But in my thinking, bitcoin is good for all of us, but as people think bitcoin will be make us millionaire than sometime, it is imagination for me.
It will. Give it some time. 5 years from now btc will be 10 000$
I know that your analysis are all over the forum already, but I cannot agree with that perspective, it seems just not possible for bitcoin to achieve such a price in only 5 years!
There is no problem for me in understanding that the bitcoin has already made an insane increase if we calculate the % of growth made since the creation of it, but that was just the start when people didnt know much about cryptocurrencies. We can see that the bitcoin capitalization is getting higher, but the bitcoin part of overall cryptocurrency market cap is lower and lower.
Plus, currently there are many issues with blockchain working, such as tremendously high fees and also really long time required to get 3 confirmations, of course with a decent fee- not a small one.
239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Price 1200 USD Means - Bitcoin Mining Is Profitable, Even For Beginners on: April 24, 2017, 03:40:27 PM
i think, for mining bitcoin now is not profitable because the Diff is to damn High, i not recomend you to mining bitcoin now, but you can mining other cryptocoin with the low Diff and still make you profit.

#minexcoin.com
The mining does not work like that, it is always profitable but only if you can meet some requirements, but if you cannot- then you should not even consider it as some kind of an investment.
Without really cheap electricity, or some different power source such as renewable energy e.g from wind powerplant, you want be able to get decent returns every month, you will just probably waste your money for the electricity costs and mining machines.

You also should never involve yourself in mining, if you are not into technical stuff, such as coding, programming etc. It is because you need to have knowledge about the whole bitcoin and blockchain, and it is very important to know what is the most efficient way to use your mining rigs. Without that, you will be just a pimple for other people taking part in the mining competition.
240  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: April 24, 2017, 03:27:37 PM
The loan is risky because here begins the problem especially when you have not paid for the time that you said. Especially when the monthly interest is considerably difficult to pay until it increases. Here you will feel hard to make debt.

Loans are too risky both for the lender and the accepter of the loan. Both have a fear of loss in case the loan taken is not return or the collateral taken is not handed back. Trusted escrow can solve these problems.

I see no point why would you use a collateral that you can't afford to lose. You're at a desperate time so you chose to get a loan, so you shouldn't have had the confidence that you'll get the collateral easily. I don't think that you're risking anything at all since a lender wouldn't choose to run away with your collateral. A lender has to gain reputation so he can have even better business opportunities.

Especially in this forum where your account has a value. You're basically ruining your account by scamming someone. You can never join a signature campaign when you have a negative trust and signature campaigns are far more profitable and stable.
Your post have made me wonder, actually why would anyone want to scam other people with hero member/ legendary rank account? As you have said, that is literally ruining your own account, by gaining negative trust on feedback. You need to be really stupid to do something like that, unless you really get the great profit from that but it makes sense only if there is more funds in scammed money, than your account is worth.

But I would like to observe also, that the best thing about having a high-rank account is not only that you can get a great pay-per-post rate, but also you can do more services, because people trust you.
You can be at well-paid signature campaining, have loaning service and also escrow. All that can bring you enormous profits but you would not be able to do such a thing without high rank account, nobody wants to trust a newbie right?
